This study is to diversely analyze teachers' Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) regarding to the area of plane figures and discuss the consideration for the materialization of the effective class in learning the area of plane figures by identifying the improvements based on problems indicated in PCK. The subjects of inquiry are what the problems with teachers' PCK regarding to the area of plane figures are and how they can be improved. In which is the first domain of PCK, teachers need to fully understand the concept of the area and the properties and classification of the area and length, recognized the sequence structure as a subject of guidance and improve the direction which naturally connects the flow of measurement by using random units in guidance of the area. In which is the second domain of PCK, teachers need to establish understanding of the concept for the area and understanding of a formula as a subject matter object and improve the activity, discovery and research oriented class for students as a guidance method by escaping from teacher oriented expository class and calculation oriented repetitive learning. They also need to avoid the biased evaluation of using a formula and evenly evaluate whether students understand the concept of the area as a performance evaluation method. In which is the third domain of PCK, teachers need to fully understand the concept of the area rather than explanation oriented correction and fundamentally teach students about errors by suggesting the activity to explore the properties of the area and length. They also need to plan a method to reflect student's affective aspects besides a compliment and encouragement and apply this method to the class. In which is the fourth domain of PCK, teachers need to increase the use of random units by having an independent consciousness about textbooks and supplementing the activity of textbooks and restructure textbooks by suggesting problematic situations in a real life and teaching the sequence structure. Also, class groups will need to be divided into an entire group, individual group, partner group and normal group.

Although the electrophoretic deposition method has the advantage of simple processing procedure, less fabrication facilities, and easier control for deposition thickness and wire length, providing economical and technical merits, it also has the disadvantages of cracking and porosity phenomena, requiring an improved processing method for higher particle density and constant particle orientation. we have developed an optimization method to increase the particle density and to unify its orientation, and have performed a study to overcome the cracking and porosity problems in the fabricated superconductor. In order to improve the surface uniformity and the conduction properties of the fabricated YBCO thick films, a system that applies alternate voltage vertically has been developed for the first time and applied to the electrophoretic deposition process. The applied alternate electric field caused a force to be exerted on each YBCO particle and resulted in a rotation of the particle in the direction of applied electric field, accomplishing a uniform particle orientation. We name this process as the shaky-aligned electrophoretic deposition method. For commercial utilization and efficiency, in this dissertation, alternating voltage of 60 Hz and 25 ∼ 120 V/cm was proposed to apply it as a subsidiary source for shaky-flow deposition so that the fabricated thin film showed uniform surface morphology with less voids and cracks and Tc,zero of 90 K and the critical current density of 3419 A/$cm^2$.

Due to the dramatic spatial changes caused by industrialization, environmental problems such as air pollution and urban heat island phenomenon, etc. are occurring in cities. In this case, the wind corridor, which is a passage through which fresh and cool air generated in forests outside cities move to the downtown, can be used as a spatial planning method for improving urban environmental problems. Cold air is determined by the characteristics of the flow depending on the topography and land use of cities, and based on this, the medium- and long-term plan should be established. Therefore, this study analyzed the flow of cold air at night through the KLAM_21 model in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, to prepare the basic data required to apply the wind corridors. As a result, it turned out that cold air of Suwon-si was mainly generated from Gwanggyo Mountain that is a large mountain area in the north, and flowed into the urbanization promotion area, and about three hours after sunset, cold air flowed into the downtown. By district, the depth, wind speed, and direction of the cold air layer were formed differently according to the characteristics of the topography and land use. In the areas where large forests were adjacent, the flow of cold air was active. There are three main wind corridors where cold air flows to the downtown of Suwon-si, all of which are formed around rivers. Especially, if the connection between rivers and the surrounding green areas is high, the effect of wind corridors is found to be significant. In order to utilize the wind corridors of Suwon-si, based on the results of this study, it is necessary to make climate maps through actual survey and complex analysis of cold air flow and establish mid-to-long-term plans for the conservation and expansion of major wind corridors.

In order to increase the self-reliance rate of new and renewable energy in order to respond to the mandatory domestic zero-energy buildings, the taller the building, the more limited the site area, and installing PV modules on the roof is not enough. Therefore, BIPV (Building integrated photovoltaic, hereinafter BIPV) is the industry receiving the most attention as a core energy source that can realize zero-energy buildings. Therefore, this study conducted a survey on the problems of the BIPV industry in a self-discussing method for experts with more than 10 years of experience of designers, builders, product manufacturers, and maintainers in order to suggest the right direction and revitalize the BIPV industry. Industrial problems of BIPV adjustment are drawn extention range of standard and certification for products, range improvement for current small condition of various kind productions, need to revise standards for capable of accomodating roof-type, color-module and louver-module, necessary of barrier in flow of foreign modules into korea through domestic certification mandatory, difficulty in obtaining BIPV information, request to prevent confusion among participants by exact guidelime about architectural application part of BIPV, and lack of the BIPV definition clearness, support policy, etc. Based on the improvements needed for the elements, giving change and competitiveness impacts aims to present and propose counter measures and direction.

The data of the missing section among the vertex surface sea temperature observation data was imputed using the Bidirectional Recurrent Neural Network(BiRNN). Among artificial intelligence techniques, Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), which are commonly used for time series data, only estimate in the direction of time flow or in the reverse direction to the missing estimation position, so the estimation performance is poor in the long-term missing section. On the other hand, in this study, estimation performance can be improved even for long-term missing data by estimating in both directions before and after the missing section. Also, by using all available data around the observation point (sea surface temperature, temperature, wind field, atmospheric pressure, humidity), the imputation performance was further improved by estimating the imputation data from these correlations together. For performance verification, a statistical model, Multivariate Imputation by Chained Equations (MICE), a machine learning-based Random Forest model, and an RNN model using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) were compared. For imputation of long-term missing for 7 days, the average accuracy of the BiRNN/statistical models is 70.8%/61.2%, respectively, and the average error is 0.28 degrees/0.44 degrees, respectively, so the BiRNN model performs better than other models. By applying a temporal decay factor representing the missing pattern, it is judged that the BiRNN technique has better imputation performance than the existing method as the missing section becomes longer.

The study aimed to investigate the effect of low-frequency oscillations on the cow udder, milk parameters, and animal welfare during the automated milking process. The study's objective was to investigate the impact of low-frequency oscillations on the udder and teats' blood circulation by creating a mathematical model of mammary glands, using milkers and vibrators to analyze the theoretical dynamics of oscillations. The mechanical vibration device developed and tested in the study was mounted on a DeLaval automatic milking machine, which excited the udder with low-frequency oscillations, allowing the analysis of input parameters (temperature, oscillation amplitude) and using feedback data, changing the device parameters such as vibration frequency and duration. The experimental study was performed using an artificial cow's udder model with and without milk and a DeLaval milking machine, exciting the model with low-frequency harmonic oscillations (frequency range 15-60 Hz, vibration amplitude 2-5 mm). The investigation in vitro applying low-frequency of the vibration system's first-order frequencies in lateral (X) direction showed the low-frequency values of 23.5-26.5 Hz (effective frequency of the simulation analysis was 25.0 Hz). The tested values of the first-order frequency of the vibration system in the vertical (Y) direction were 37.5-41.5 Hz (effective frequency of the simulation analysis was 41.0 Hz), with higher amplitude and lower vibration damping. During in vivo experiments, while milking, the vibrator was inducing mechanical milking-similar vibrations in the udder. The vibrations were spreading to the entire udder and caused physiotherapeutic effects such as activated physiological processes and increased udder base temperature by 0.57℃ (p < 0.001), thus increasing blood flow in the udder. Used low-frequency vibrations did not significantly affect milk yield, milk composition, milk quality indicators, and animal welfare. The investigation results showed that applying low-frequency vibration on a cow udder during automatic milking is a non-invasive, efficient method to stimulate blood circulation in the udder and improve teat and udder health without changing milk quality and production. Further studies will be carried out in the following research phase on clinical and subclinical mastitis cows.
Though the stability analysis of soil slopes widely employs the limit equilibrium method, the study on the jointed rock slopes must consider the direction of joint and the characteristics of Joint at the same time. This study analyzes the result of the change in the factors which show the characteristics of discontinuity and the shape factor of rock slopes, and so on, in an attempt to validate the propriety as to the interpretation of jointed rock slope stability which uses the general finite element program. First, the difference depending on the flow rules was compared, and the factor effect study was conducted. The selected independent variables included the direction of joint which displays the mechanical characteristics of discontinuity, adhesive cohesion, friction angle, the inclination and height of rock slope which reveal the shape of slope and surcharge load. And the horizontal displacement was numerically interpreted at the 1/3 point below the slope, a dependent variable, to compare the relative degree of factor effects. The findings of study on factor effects led to the validation that the result of horizontal displacement for each factor satisfied various engineering characteristics, making it possible to be applied to stability interpretation of jointed rock slope. A modelling is possible, which considers the application of the result of real geotechnical surveys & laboratory studies and the non-linear characteristics when designing the rock slope. In addition, the stress change which may result from the natural disaster, such as precipitation, and the construction, can be expressed. Furthermore, as the complicated rock condition and the ground supporting effect can be considered through FEM, it is considered to be very useful in making an engineering decision on the cut-slope, reinforcement and so on.

Arterial pulse palpation is an important diagnostic method in Oriental Medicine, particularly for obtaining information about a patient's health conditions or illness, or for confirming a diagnostic conclusion based on the patient's pulsation. The pulse analyzer is both a leading Oriental Medical equipment and a promising tool with such a strong industrial ripple effect that it was selected as one of the four strategic tools for world Oriental Medical instrument market domination at a recent survey. Although various pulse analyzers had been developed, however, most of these were not widely used for clinical diagnosis, due perhaps to lack of the appliance's reliability caused by its inability to reflect the requirements of the clinicians. Thus, in this thesis, the clinical requirements for the pulse analyzer were identified and analyzed by conducting a questionnaire survey among Oriental Medicine clinicians. By looking into the basic functions of a pulse analyzer, the required measurement time, and the medical insurance fee required were determined and among others, the appliance's specific requirements were determined. Moreover, by investigating on the latest patent trend, the technical elements that are needed for the development of a next-generation pulse analyzer were identified. Through these processes, the flow of the technology that must be developed for the pulse analyzer was determined, and the direction for the development of the specific pulse analyzer hardware, sensor, and diagnostic algorithm was identified and proposed.

The deformation and departure processes of a bubble attached to the wall are studied experimentally and numerically to understand the phenomena of the nucleate boiling heat transfer enhancement under DC electric field. An air-bubble is injected in a dielectric liquid with different electric fields generated by changing three types of electrode system (Type 1,2 and 3) in the bubble generator. Experimental variables are the electric field strength and the distance and the shape of the electrodes under DC electric field. From experimental results, it is observed that the bubble under Dc electric field is elongated in the same direction as the electric field and the contact angle increases. For the parallel plate electrode which generates a uniform electric field, bubble departure volume doesn't seem to decrease within our experimental range. However, when a needle is raised a few millimeters from the lower electrode to make a nonuniform electric field around the needle, bubble departure volume decreases continuously with the increase of an applied voltage. The reduction effect of bubble departure volume is the most effective under a strong nonuniform electric field generated with Type 3. As the nonuniformity of the electric field due to the shape of a electrode increases, the terminal velocity and the acceleration of a bubble increase largely. For the comparison with visualization results, the deformation of a bubble attached to the electrode is carried out by a numerical method. Numerical results show good agreement qualitatively with experimental results.
A seismic tomography using refraction waves is applied to provide information on depth of basement rocks and leachate distribution of the Noeun waste landfill site for the stage of preliminary environmental survey. This method is generally applied to civil and environmental areas. Three lines, apparently perpendicular to the potential leachate flow direction in this site, were installed to investigate the waste landfill site in pseudo three dimensional geometry. The results show that the site is composed of 3 layers and depth of basement becomes shallower at the upstream area of the landfill site than that of the downstream area. Moreover, some parts of the second layer and the basement at the down stream area are partially infiltrated by the leachate, probably related to the disturbed distribution of the different velocity materials within the second layer. In Conclusion, refraction wave tomography is found to be one of the most efficient way to investigate waste landfill site.
