Since it was founded in Korea in 1784, Korean Catholic Church has grown rapidly even under persecution. And now, its various activities have considerable influence on Korean society. However, the Korean Catholic Church record management not much is being done in excess of general record management for administrative purposes. Therefore, this study attempted to construct records management system that could systematically manage records of the Korean Catholic Church with Diocese Archives as the central figure. In order to do this, first the special characteristics of the Catholic Church records were analyzed, and the actual status of records management of Catholic Church was investigated. Next, applied the theory of records management to the Catholic Church system.

It is an important issue in Korea archive field to prepare for systemic management of electronic records and transferring of electronic records in 2015. The purpose of this research is to come up with implication for Korea through the analysis of ERA of NARA. First of all, this study analyzed that the current status and history of electronic records management of NARA, the requirements document for electronic records, and use procedure of ERA. This paper suggests on the basis of these analyses that major considerations such as organization, gradual progression, and improvement of operation system are important and necessary to make a solution for electronic records management.

This article analyzes the direction of 'business-Friendly' record management in electronic records environment which means paradigm shift in record management. In the first place, this article investigates the interrelationship of business, records and record management through natures of electronic records, and analyzes direction of purposes and roles of record management in electronic records environment. After all, this article rebuilds a significance and roles of record management in active stage, and provides theoretical bases for close relation between record management and information management in electronic records environment.

This study aims to introduce the system of records disposal freeze and to draw tasks and propose measure to establish it in the public sector in Korea. First of all, it reviewed the korean regulations and practices related to disposal freeze and suggestions in research paper. While analysing the disposal freeze systems of US and Australia, it identified that the systems were principally run by the National Archives. Thus, 2 cases analysis were conducted in each country. Based on these, this paper studied what should be considered and what could be proposed for the development of the system of records disposal freeze in terms of the regulation, implementations, standard notice statement as well as procedures for korean public records.

This study investigated and analyzed the 17th presidential record by further expanding the awareness of the problem, focusing on media suspicions related to the 17th presidential record. And Based on the results, the purpose is to suggest ways to improve the presidential records management system. To this end, the 17th presidential record transferred to the Presidential Archives was first outlined from an overall perspective, and the records produced in the "record management", "ancillary room", and "Public Safety" functions were quantitatively analyzed. Next, we analyzed the physical records qualitatively along with quantitative analysis of the cases of 'production status notification', 'record production and nonregistration of records via e-mail', and 'core records and electronic/non-electronic records' to determine the records of the 17th President. Personality was diagnosed. Finally, based on the analysis results, a plan to improve the presidential record management system was proposed.

In South Korea the records management system nationwide has been developed based on 'the Act on public agencies' records management' which was first enacted in 1999. Furthermore, 'the Act on public records management 2006' has shifted a paradigm of records management to the digital records world. In this context, the records management standard, KS X ISO 15489 has a profound significance. Based on the principle of that there should not be any conflict between nationwide records management laws and standard, this study explores a meaning of the standard and discusses contradictive elements between the laws and standard. On the basis of the main contents of the standard's five categories, the study analyzes the laws in comparison with the standard. As a result, the study provides remedies for the current records management law and discusses a prospect of records management strategies in the 21st Century.

With the reform of records management law, the organization should manage a new criteria scheme of record management based on business task and process. The new criteria scheme includes business explanation, preservation period, cause of setting up preservation period and opening information, access authority, keeping records or not. In the past, there were also some regulations and criteria but, records management criteria should be managed systematically and rationally than past in electronic environment. In this study, some previous cases about records management criteria constructing and operating were introduced first. And various characters about records management criteria were reviewed after that, process sample and methodology were proposed for construction of each criteria. If the records management criteria were constructed properly according to goals and objectives of records management and the results were managed through electronic system, the consistency of records management will be kept well and value changes of business and records will be reflected dynamically.

The purpose of this study is to propose a record service based on the characteristics and production context of presidential records. To this end, we first looked at the design direction and characteristics of the e-jiwon system and then analyzed the structure and characteristics of records produced by the e-jiwon system. There are six types of records to be analyzed: e-jiwon document card, memo, schedule, diary, instruction card, and individual business system_speech DB. Next, through analysis of the Presidential Records Portal's records service, it was pointed out that the current records service does not fully reveal the production context and characteristics of records. Accordingly, as a service strategy based on the characteristics and context of presidential records, a service centered on each record card (e-jiwon document card, etc.) and a service that focuses on structural understanding of records and linkage between records were proposed.

This research is related to GPS(global positioning system) enabled device navigation service and consists of two parts. The first is the logic that records the route guidance video and records GPS information in time, and the second is the logic that outputs the created video data based on real time GPS. The recording logic first determines the origin and destination, records the video from the origin to the destination and it adjusts the speed of the image in a specific area so that the user can see it easily. And insert ancillary information and advertisements that can help guide the route. In the output logic, we provide navigation services using the video and GPS data tables we created, and it receives user's GPS information in real time and corrects it based on the recent user location to reduce errors. This provides local guidance services to people who lack language skills like foreigners.

Three localities of coastal sand-dunes along the western coastline of Korea: Sindu-ri, Sinhap-ri, and Jaeun-do, were surveyed for the lepidopteran fauna. This survey resulted in the records of five species new to Korea: a species of Cosmopterigidae, Cosmopterix flavidella Kuroko, 2011, based on eight specimens from Sinhap-ri and Jaeun-do; a species of Tortricidae, Noduliferola abstrusa Kuznetzov, 1973, based on five specimens from Sinhap-ri and Jaeun-do; a species of Pyralidae, Maliarpha borealis Sasaki, 2012, based on four specimens from Sindu-ri; and two species of Erebidae, Ectoblemma rosella Sugi, 1982 and Metachrostis miasma (Hampson, 1891), based on one specimen for each from Jaeun-do. Three genera, Noduliferola Kuznetzov, 1973, Maliarpha Ragonot, 1888 and Ectoblemma Sugi, 1982, are introduced for the first time to the Korean fauna. Two species, Noduliferola abstrusa and Maliarpha borealis, are suggested as the indicator species for coastal sand-dunes. The superficial and genital features of the five species found from this study are described and illustrated. A photograph of the female genitalia of Ectoblemma rosella is provided for the first time.
