어린이 화상사고의 실태와 예방대책 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구 (A Study of Burn Accidents in Children towards Developing a Program for Prevention)

  • This study is a descriptive study which was done to examine the circumstances surrounding burn accidents in children in order to develop a burn prevention program. The subjects for the study were the mothers of 107 children admitted to two burn specialty hospitals in seoul and the mothers of 172 healthy children attending day care or kindergarten. The tool used in the study was developed by the researchers, pretested and refined. Cronbach's alpha was 0.72. Data collection was done between November 1995 and April 1996. Statistically analysis was done using SAS Version 6.04 and the data was analyzed using test, chi square, regression and logistic analysis. A suumary of the results shows the following : Eighty percent of the children in both groups lived in nuclear families but comparatively more of the children with burn accidents lived in apartments. More of the parents in the group of healthy children had university education and held white collar or professional jobs, while the parents of the children with burn accidents were slightly younger than the parents of the healthy children. but not significantly younger. A significantly greater number of families of children with burn accidents had more than one child and the characteristics of the children with burn accidents that they were more frequently boys, either first or last born and very active. Most of the burn accidents occurred in fall or winter. sometime between noon and midnight and the majority occurred in the home and were caused by hot liquid. In 86% of the cases emergency care was not given at home but the child was brought to the hospital emergency unit. Most of the burns were second degree or greater. involved the arms or legs. required admission, and 41.5% occurred when the parents were preparing or eating meals. In a test of knowledge of preventive measures, the mothers of children who had suffered burn accidents scored slightly higher than the mothers who had no experience with burn accidents, but this was not statistically significant. As to what to do in the case of a fire, the mothers of the healthy children had more knowledge about who to notify. but 70% of the mothers in both groups did not know how to escape from the house if it was of fire. 80 to 96% did not know what do to in case of a fire, such as rolling if clothes were on fire. 80% did not know what emergency care to give for a burn, and 74 to 87% did not know when it is appropriate to try to put out a fire. It can be concluded from this study that. since the results show that the most frequent situation which resulted in burn accidents was when the parents were not aware of the danger of burns or were not paying attention to the child. and when there were no protective devices to prevent burns. and that accidents most frequently occurred at home. the most effective way of preventing accidents is to develop in the parents a "safety mind", Since burn accidents in children are usually more severe than in adults. the physical. emotional. psychological and social damage is greater. In order to develop and awareness of this in the general public. the use of mass media. books and pamphlets and other educational media that provide education on prevention of burn accidents need to be utilized.

119 구급대 구급차 교통사고 현황 분석 (Analysis of traffic accidents involving 119 emergency)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate both the occurrence status of emergency vehicles traffic accidents and contents of the experiences of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) in fire station. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 451 EMTs in fire stations in 6 cities provinces from February 9, 2017 to February 27, 2017. Results: Of 451 EMTs, 207 (45.9%) had traffic accidents experience. Regarding environment-related features, results indicated hour (12~18 hours), place (national highway), traffic flow (smooth), weather (clear), season (winter), and day (Friday). Regarding correlation analysis of differences in the number of ambulance traffic accidents pursuant to general features of accident-experienced drivers as a human factor, there were no significant differences in recruitment, driving careers of regular cars, driving careers of fire engines, and class but there were significant differences in fire-fighting careers. Accident experience in the group with careers over 6 years and less than 10 years higher than in the other groups. Conclusion: Efforts to expand fire engine driving education programs for the prevention of traffic accidents involving 119 emergency vehicles are required.

코로나19 상황에서 소방공무원의 비대면 실시간 교육에 관한 의식조사연구 (A Study on Survey of Non Face to Face Realtime Education Focused on Firefighter in COVID-19)

  • 연구목적: 코로나바이러스 감염증-19(COVID) 펜데믹으로 인해 모든 교육기관은 전면 비대면 실시간 교육을 해야하는 상황이 발생하였고 이에 소방공무원에게도 비대면교육을 적용하여 소방교육을 운영하는 것이 요구되었다. 이러한 펜데믹 상황에서 중앙소방학교가 소방공무원에게 실시한 비대면 실시간 교육에 대한 실태조사를 통해 비대면 실시간 교육의 방향을 찾고 개선방안을 제시 하려한다. 연구방법: 소방공무원을 대상으로 '비대면 실시간 원격교육의 질적 향상 및 전문화를 위한 의식조사' 라는 주제로 설문조사를 실시하여 그 결과를 토대로 심층분석을 하였다. 연구결과 및 결론: 첫째, 교수자 혹은 교육운영자는 다양한 프로그램을 활용하여 교육특성에 맞는 원격교육 프로그램을 적극 활용할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 비대면 교육을 위한 전용노트북을 제공하여 모든 학습자들이 교육 참여에 어려움 없는 교육환경을 제공 할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 소방공무원 교육훈련 특성상 장비 활용이 필요한 교육훈련의 경우에는 각 소방서에 교육 장비를 배치하여 비대면 실습교육 장소로 고려해 볼 필요가 있다. 넷째, 실습교육은 이론교육으로 대처하는 것은 만족스러운 교육효과를 기대하기 어렵다. 그렇기에 비대면 실시간 실습교육이 가능한 시설과 프로그램이 개발되어져야한다. 그러한 비대면 실습교육이 가능해지기 전까지는 사회적 거리를 최대한 유지하면서 대면교육을 적절하게 병행하는 것도 고려해볼만 하다. 다섯째, 비대면 교육은컴퓨터 화면의 불빛과 전자파로 인하여 눈의 피로도가 높고 시간이 흐를수록 집중도가 많이 떨어진다는 의견으로 보아 적절한 수업시간과 휴식시간을 통해 학습자의 눈의 피로를 줄이고 집중력을 높일 수 있는 교육시간을 구성해야 할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 교수자는 일방적인 지식전달을 하는 교육보다는 교수자와 학습자가 상호작용할 수 있는 학습자 참여 중심의 교육을 운영해야할 필요가 있다. 또한 비대면 원격교육 기술적인 문제는 사전시스템 점검을 통해 교육에 차질이 없도록 철저한 준비가 필요한 것으로 생각된다.

코로나19 상황에서 소방공무원을 대상으로 한 비대면 실시간 교육 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Satisfaction of Non Face to Face Real Time Education Focused on Firefighter in COVID-19)

  • 연구목적: 코로나바이러스감염증-19(COVID-19) 이후 교육생태계의 변화가 일어났고 소방학교 역시 대면교육을 비대면 교육으로 전환 되었다. 이로 인해 교육생(소방공무원)의 교육효과는 떨어지고 만족도 역시 낮아지고 있다. 본 연구에서 비대면 실시간 원격교육의 현 실태를 살펴보고 문제점을 보완하여 이에 맞는 교육방법, 교육내용, 교육환경 등을 개선하고자 한다. 연구방법: 본 연구에서는 비대면 실시간 원격교육에 영향을 미치는 독립변수로 시스템 환경운영, 컴퓨터의 자기효능감, 콘텐츠(교육내용, 구조, 설계 등), 적절한 상호작용으로 구성하였고, 종속변수로는 비대면 실시간 원격교육 만족도로 선정하였다. 이러한 독립변수와 종속변수에 사이에 조절변수로 학습동기와 학습태도의 적극성을 추가 구성하였다. 연구결과: 콘텐츠가 좋고 학습동기와 학습태도의 적극적 일수록 비대면 실시간 원격교육의 학습만족도가 높아졌고, 학습동기와 학습태도의 적극성이 높아지면 컴퓨터 자기효능감도 학습만족도에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 결과를 도출하게 되었다. 결론: 코로나바이러스감염증-19(COVID-19)으로 인한 비대면 실시간 교육만족을 높이기 위해 교육설계자 혹은 교수자는 학습동기와 학습태도의 적극성을 높일 수 있는 비대면 교육콘텐츠를 제공해야하고 비대면 교육시스템에 대한 사전교육을 통해 컴퓨터 자기효능감을 높여 학습자의 교육 만족도를 높여야 할 필요가 있다.

영유아의 사고유형 실태조사와 안전교육 효과 분석 (The Patterns of Accidental Injury in Young Children and Effect of Safety Education on Their Mothers Performance of Preventive Measures)

  • In the past most major accidents resulted in death, but today there is a dramatic increase in the number of people who survive such accidents but who are left with permanent injury. Particularly, children who are inquisitive about their surroundings but immature in their ability to assess danger, are more vulnerable to accidents and their causes as well as to determine attitudes towards prevention. The main objective of the study was to assess the effectiveness of using an accident prevention manual for accident for accident prevention education. The study was a quasi-experimental study using a questionnaire format. The subjects of the study were 393 mothers of children attending six day care centers in Seoul. Data collection was done between May 1 and June 15, 1997. The tools used for the study were a questionnaire developed the researchers and a manual for accident prevention. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS. The results of the study are as follows: 1. Types of accidents included stabbing, bums, falls from heights, choking, falls on slippery surfaces, traffic accidents, drowning, poisoning, and electrical shock in that order of frequency. 2. The main causes of accidents in children were from cosmetics and household medications. 3. The most frequent locations of accidents in the home were the bathroom, kitchen, and stairways in that order. 4. For $90.4\%$ of children safety seats were not used when the ridding in a car. 5. In examining the parents' accident prevention practices, it was found that many parents used only . one electrical outlet for many appliances, tending to overload the electricity lines and that they were not practically concerned bout the flammability of children's pajamas, indicating a less than positive attitude towards fire prevention. 6. The parents had not provided their children with any instruction on accident prevention or on what to do after an accident had occurred. 7. After the use of pamphlet in an accident prevention education program, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in the degree to which children carried out safety measures (t=14.96, p=.000) and in their safety habits (t=-1.67, p<.1) indicating an effectiveness in this method of education. The results of this study showed that there are many things in a child's environment that can cause accidents and that the possibility of an accident occurring is high. So nurses looking after children should be aware of the need for safety education to prevent accidents in the home and plan to provide appropriate educational material to help parents with this education.

지능형 방재 시스템 시뮬레이션 환경 및 관리 어플리케이션 구현 (Design of Simulation Environment for Intelligent Disaster Prevention System and Implementation of Management Application)

  • 본 논문에서는 복잡도가 높은 건물 내에 산재되어 있는 비상등, 소화기 및 스프링클러를 효과적으로 관리하기 위해 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 기반의 자율무선통신방식을 이용한 지능형 소방방재 시스템 시뮬레이션 환경을 구성하고, 장치의 현재 상태에 대한 모니터링, 작동 유무를 확인하고 관리 할 수 있는 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 구현하였다. 구현한 시스템 환경은 센서노드가 부착된 시설물, 장치의 정보수집과 제어를 위한 관리서버, 그리고 관리서버와 정보를 주고받는 스마트폰 어플리케이션으로 구성된다. 실험결과 구현된 시스템은 각 시설물과 정보를 송수신하여 장치의 상태를 확인하고 제어 하였으며, 안드로이드 기반 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 이용하여 관리서버와 시설물의 정보를 주고받고 제어 명령을 통해 장치가 통제됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

Low-Frequency Haptic Interface Developed for Electrical Safety Experience Education

  • Electric shock due to the increased use of power, equipment accidents, electrical accidents, such as electric fire and also continues to grow. To prevent electric shock accidents, an experience education is more effective than indoctrination education. But an electric shock experience education system required a proper physical stimulation on human body to experience electric shock. In this study, we conducted a study to take advantage of the realistic haptic interface using a low-frequency type experiential learning and prevention education. Results of this study could be applied to an electric shock experience education system.

Development and Validation of Life Safety Awareness Scale of High School Students and Analysis of Interindividual Differences

  • Life safety awareness level diagnosis is necessary for customized safety education and continuous safety awareness. As the starting stage of safety education for each life cycle, a scale that has verified the reliability and validity of high school students' life safety awareness has not yet been developed. In this context, the purpose of this study is to develop and validate the life safety awareness scale of high school students and to analyze interindividual differences. Questionnaire data was collected from April to June 2022 from 834 students in the first, second, and third grades of high schools in △△ city in Jeollabuk-do. A final 25-item scale was developed using the preliminary survey, preliminary test, the main test, descriptive statistical analysis, and exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. This scale consists of four sub-factors: 'safety prevention', 'safety knowledge', 'safety preparation', and 'safety protection'. Good reliability and validity were verified by analysis of content validity and construct validity. The generalizability of the scale was verified by crossover validation between the search group and the crossover group. Based on the interindividual differences analysis, although there was a difference between genders in life safety awareness, there was no difference by grade level and academic achievement. This study is significant in developing the first valid scale that can measure high school students' life safety awareness and providing the necessity and rationale for life safety education by life cycle considering individual gender differences.

공동주택 화재를 대상으로 한 가상현실(VR) 프로그램 개발 및 호응도 조사 (Development and Review of Virtual Reality Fire-Training Program)

  • 본 연구는 최근 빈번하게 발생하고 있는 공동주택 화재로 인한 인명피해 최소화를 위해 최신 IT 기법을 활용하여 공동주택(아파트)의 화재 상황을 재현 한 가상현실(VR) 화재 프로그램을 개발하고 학습도구로서의 활용가능성을 검증하였다. 이를 위해 공동주택 단위평면 크기, 가족구성 등 기본환경을 설정하였으며 공동주택에서 일어날 수 있는 화재 시나리오를 개발하여 게임형식으로 가상현실 프로그램을 구현하였다. 아울러 개발된 가상현실(VR) 화재 프로그램에 대한 호응도를 살펴보기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문결과 가상현실(VR) 화재 프로그램에 대한 호응도가 매우 높게 나타났으며 특히 가상현실 화재 프로그램을 통한 학습효과가 높아 학습기기로서의 유효성을 확인할 수 있었다.

밀폐된 구획 내 복합소재 고체 가연물의 연소시 열방출률의 FDS 예측 특성 (A Study on the Characteristics of FDS Heat Release Rate Predictions for Fire involving Solid Combustible Materials in a Closed Compartment)

  • ISO 9705 룸코너 시험을 통해 복합소재 고체 가연물의 화재발생시 발생되는 열방출률을 측정하고 화재성장율을 계산하여 Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS)에서 제공하는 열방출률 예측 모델을 사용자가 시험을 통해 얻어진 질량 소모율을 직접 입력하고 점화원에 의해 가연물의 표면 온도가 점화 온도에 도달하게 되면 정해진 연료를 소모하게 됨으로써 열방출률이 계산되는 단순 모델 (Simple model)과 질량 소모율을 직접 계산하는 방식으로 고체 가연물의 온도를 계산하고 고체 가연물의 열분해율을 조절하여 직접 열방출률을 계산하는 열분해 모델 (Pyrolysis model)로 구분하고 각각의 열방출률 모델에 필요한 입력 인자를 적용하여 동일한 조건에서 밀폐된 구획 환경에 따라 FDS 전산 해석을 수행하였다. 복합소재 고체 가연물로는 PU 폼과 PP, 철재로 대부분 구성되어있는 영화관 의자를 선정하였다. 동일한 조건에서 밀폐된 구획 환경에 따라 각각의 열방출률 예측 모델을 해석한 결과, 밀폐된 구획에서 단순 모델을 통해 예측된 열방출률과 화재성장율이 열분해 모델을 이용하는 경우에 비해 다소 과예측되는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.
