In this study, synthetic fiber fabrics such as polyester, nylon 6, acrylic and acetate were dyed with indigoid vat dye. The effects of the composition of alkaline reduction, dyeing time and dyeing temperature on color strength and color fastness of the fabrics were investigated. Also the color fastnesses to wash and light of the dyed fabrics were studied. In dyeing of polyester, nylon, acrylic and acetate fiber fabrics with indigo vat dyes, it appears that these fabrics have high values of K/S up to Ig/L of sodium hydroxide and 6g/L of reducing agent. Indigo vat dyeing for synthetic fiber fabrics was verb fast, and lead to dyeing equilibrium within twenty minutes. The K/S values of dyed fabrics did not changed in dye concentration more than 10% o.w.f.. Synthetic fiber fabrics dyed with indigoid dyes had bad light fastness.
Tencel fabric cationized with chitosan can be effectively dyed with anionic dyes. To investigate the change of dyeing properties of cationized Tencel fabric, some experiments were performed under the several dyeing conditions with acid and reactive dyes. Whiteness index decreased with the increment of crosslinking agent concentration. The cationized Tencel fabric was dyed well by anionic dye such as acid dye, the dyeability of reactive dye was improved by addition of a little salt without alkali. The dye fixation on the cationized Tencel fabric was increased with chitosan concentration without electrolyte and alkali. The dyeability of Tencel treated with chitosan was better than controlled Tencel, especially under the acidic conditions. According to the number and the types of functional group of reactive dyes, dye affinity of the modified Tencel fabric varied and wash fastness of acid dye was better than reactive dye.
Process contract has received considerable attention in silk degumming processes because of its critical role in quality assurance. In degumming, process exhibits shrinkage of high twisted yarn and lot-varying behavior, thus increasing the difficulties of reduction by conventional means. This necessitates the application of a package that adapts to changing degumming process, and a new approach involving package degumming is proposed. The gains of this process are prevent of shrinkage by package winding, which is simplified by reduced soft-winding or re-twisting process. The approach is expected to achieve high quality results in conventional process due to its feature of demage by tension and rubbing. Therefore package degumming has many merits such as reduce of pilling and shrinkage, production expenses saving by process contract are expected of the simplified degumming process.
Polymer cationic agent was prepared by the initial polymerisation of epichlorohydrin followed by amination with diethylamine. Cotton fibre treated with the polymer (6~8% o.w.f.) is highly cationic and exhibit increased substantivity for reactive dyes under neutral to weakly acid conditions. The modified substrate could be dyed with reactive dyes without salt or a little salt from dye bath. The increased concentration of cationic agents resulted in an increase the colour yield. Futhermore, treated cotton has an electropositive surface charge. Adsorption of Reactive dye can be attributed to both van der waals force and electrostatic attraction.
Using extracted sepia melanin powder by repeated treatments with aqueous sodium hydroxide and acetic acid solutions, vat dyeing of wool and cotton fabrics was carried out under various dyeing conditions including concentration of melanin, alkali, reducing agent and salt, as well as dyeing time and temperature. A K/S of 25.3 for wool fabrics was obtained at the optimal dyeing condition with 9% owf melanin, 0.5g/L NaOH and 56g/L $Na_2S_2O_4$ without salt at $80^{\circ}C$ for 90minutes. The vat dyeing of sepia melanin was applicable to both cotton and wool fabrics but the wool showed higher dyeability. The color fastness properties of the dyed wool and cotton fabrics were excellent to washing, rubbing and light irradiation.
In this studs, we synthesized durable antistatic agents with acrylic monomers for preventing the electrification of static electricity which is one of defects of polyester fabrics. Also we synthesized quaternary ammonium salts which give antistatic property and crosslinking agents which make antistatic agents adhere to fiber. The treatment of synthesized antistatic agents on polyester fabric carried out at the condition of various concentrations, treatment times and temperatures. The antistatic property, handle characteristics and other properties of treated and untreated polyester fabrics were also investigated.

EVA microsphere was prepared by a thermally induced phase separation. EVAL microsphere was made by a saponification on sheath of EVA microsphere. And microcapsule with EVA core-PU shell structure was synthesized by interfacial polymerization using diisocyanates with PEG in gelatin aqueous solution as the stabilizing agent. The effects of chemical structure of diisocyanate on the average particle size and distribution, morphology, color strength and friction fastness of core-shell particles were investigated to design microcapsule. The friction fastness of the fabrics printed with EVA core-PU shell microcapsules had the 4-5 grade.
The reaction of silk with a disulfide-containing crosslinking agent, i.e. bis($\beta$-isocyanatoethyl)disulfide(BIED), was studied in an attempt to obtain disulfide-crosslinked silk. The setting properties of disulfide-crosslinked silk fibers were studied. The permanent set values of single fibers were evaluated after the set fibers were relaxed in boiling water. When single fibers were set in boiling water or in boiling alkaline solution, the permanent set values of BIED-treated silk fibers were less than those of untreated silk fibers. When the fibers were treated with 2% thioglycolic acid solution at $60^\circ{C}$ followed by oxidation, settability of BIED-treated silk was better than that of untreated silk. The rearrangement of secondary bonds faciliated by cleavage of crosslinks as well as the rearrangement of crosslinks itself seems to be an important role in the set stability.
An experimental study was carried out to investigate gasification process of wood sawdust in the 1-dimensional downdraft fixed bed gasifier. The preheated air which was used oxidizer and steam were used as a gasifying agent. The downdraft fixed bed gasifier obtains more amount of hydrogen and methane by increasing residence time of supplied air. The operating parameters, the supplied air temperature and steam were used. The oxidizer temperature was varied from 500K to 620K and vapor was added. The gasification process was monitored by measuring temperature at three position near the biomass using R-type thermocouples and the syngas composition was analyzed by gas chromatograph. We get the sample gas at the end of gasifier and it was eonugh time to finishing the chemical reaction. Finally, the amount of hydrogen and methane were increased widely as increasing the oxidizer temperature and adding steam.
