Although there have been plenty of dominance deviation analysis, few studies have dealt with multiple phenotypes. Because researchers focused on multiple phenotypes (final weight and backfat thickness) of Landrace pigs, the classification of the genes was possible. With genome-wide association studies (GWASs), we analyzed the additive and dominance effects of the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). The classification of the pig genes into four categories (overdominance in final weight, overdominance in backfat thickness and overdominance in final weight, underdominance in backfat thickness, etc.) can enable us not only to analyze each phenotype's dominant effects, but also to illustrate the gene ontology (GO) analysis with different aspects. We aimed to determine the additive and dominant effect in backfat thickness and final weight and performed GO analysis. Using additive model and dominance deviation analysis in GWASs, Landrace pigs' overdominant and underdominant SNP effects in final weight and backfat thickness were surveyed. Then through GO analysis, we investigated the genes that were classified in the GWASs. The major GO terms of the underdominant effects in final weight and overdominant effects in backfat thickness were ion transport with the SLC8A3, KCNJ16, P2RX7 and TRPC3 genes. Interestingly, the major GO terms in the underdominant effects in the final weight and the underdominant effects in the backfat thickness were the regulation of ion transport with the STAC, GCK, TRPC6, UBASH3B, CAMK2D, CACNG4 and SCN4B genes. These results demonstrate that ion transport and ion transport regulation genes have distinct dominant effects. Through GWASs using the mode of linear additive model and dominance deviation, overdominant effects and underdominant effects in backfat thickness was contrary to each other in GO terms (ion transport and ion transport regulation, respectively). Additionally, because ion transport and ion transport regulation genes are associative with adipose tissue accumulation, we could infer that these two groups of genes had to do with unique fat accumulation mechanisms in Landrace pigs.

This experiments were carried out to estimate the optimum final cutting date in autumn and the selection of highly adaptable varieties in mountainous pastures of Taekwalyong area. The evaluations were based on the data of varietal differences of dry weight of plant(DW) and yield components of the 1st cutting as affected by various final cutting dates of last autumn. Nine varieties of tall fescue Barvetia, Fuego. Demeter, Safe. Barcel, Forager, Johnstone, Enforcer and Stef. were used and 4 final cutting date of autumn were $C_1$, cut on 30 Sept. $C_2$, on 14 Oct. $C_3$, on 28 Oct. and $C_4$. on 11 Nov.. respectively. The results obtained were as follows: I . Between the dry weight of plant(DM) and yield components of 1st cutting were different by various final cutting dates of autumn. The dry weight of plant(DW) was significantly positive correlated with heading characteristics of the 1st cutting in earlier cuttings($C_1- C_3$) of autumn, but there was not significant correlated with heading characteristics of the 1st cutting in the latest cutting($C_4$) of autumn. 2. The variety of Forager with heavier weight of heading tiller(HTW) and dry weight of tiller(WT) showed the highest dry weight of plant(DW) of the 1st cutting in earlier cuttings($C_1-C_3$) of autumn, whereas the variety of Barcel with high number of tillers per plant(NT) showed a high dry weight of plant(DW) of the 1st cutting in the latest cutting($C_4$) of autumn. 3. Optimum final cutting date and critical period of mountainous pastures in Taekwalyong area were estimated in late September($C_1$) and middle October($C_2$), sespectirety. 4. The dry weight of plant(DW) of the 1st cutting was significantly negative correlated with final cutting dates in growth period of autumn.

In the present paper the effect of various process conditions on the final weight of injection molded rectangular plates has been investigated in detail. The main parameters involved in the simulations were melt temperature, mold temperature, injection speed and packing pressure. The dimensions of the plate used were 100mm long, 2mm of width and polystyrene was used as a molding material. The shear viscosity of the polymeric material was treated as a function of shear rate, temperature and pressure through the whole processes including packing and cooling stages. By increasing a packing pressure the final weight of sample increased linearly. Furthermore, as the melt temperature, the mold temperature and the injection speed increased, the final weight of the injection molded plate decreased within the molding window.
The effects of daily feeding frequency (Exp I), water temperature (Exp II), and stocking density (Exp III) on the growth of river puffer, Takifugu obscurus, juvenile fish of 10 and 40 g in body weight were examined to develop effective techniques to produce river puffer in a non-exchange water system. In Exp I, fish were fed commercial floating feed with 45 % protein one to five times per day to apparent satiation each by hand daily for 8 weeks at $25^{\circ}C$. In both the 10- and 40-g size groups, the final body weight, daily feed consumption, and weight gain of fish fed one meal per day were significantly lower than those of fish fed five meals per day (P < 0.05). However, there were no significant differences in the final body weight, daily feed consumption, and weight gain among fish fed two, three, and five meals per day. Feed efficiency showed decreasing tendency with increasing size of fish. In Exp II, fish of 10 and 40 g in initial body weight were reared with the commercial feed at $15-30^{\circ}C$ for 8 weeks. The weight gain of fish increased with raising water temperature up to $25^{\circ}C$ and decreased drastically at $30^{\circ}C$ for both sizes. The Q10 of specific growth rate was decreased with raising water temperature from 5.04 (temperature interval, $15-20^{\circ}C$) to 0.66 ($25-30^{\circ}C$) for the 10-g fish and from 4.98 to 0.31 for the 40-g fish. In Exp III, the effect of stocking density on growth was examined with fish of 10 and 40 g in initial body weight. The final body weight for initial stocking densities of 4, 8, and $12kg/m^3$ was significantly higher than that of $20kg/m^3$ for the 10-g fish, and the final stocking density reached 10.1, 19.2, 28.7, and $39.9kg/m^3$, respectively. For the 40-g fish, the final body weight for initial stocking densities of 3 and $6kg/m^3$ was significantly higher than that of 9 and $15kg/m^3$ and the final stocking density reached 7.38, 13.5, 17.1, and $27.5kg/m^3$, respectively (P < 0.05). In both groups, weight gain tended to decrease with increasing stocking density; however, survival showed no significant difference.
In this paper, for polymerization of poly(vinyl acetate-co-ethylene) (VAE) by redox system using poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVOH) as emulsifier on the properties of the final emulsion, and pH changes affect the physical properties of the final emulsion was investigated. The results of the molecular weight of PVOH had a dramatic impact on the emulsion properties. The used a low molecular weight of PVOH products was obtained low viscosity and using the high molecular weight of PVOH were obtained high viscosity product. However, changing the pH of the final polymerized product properties for the PVOH obtained different results. Generally, a poly(vinyl acetate) emulsion by a high degree of polymerization and high molecular weight of PVOH was obtained high viscosity of the final emulsion. But, in VAE was lower emulsion viscosity in high pH. This is the molecular weight of the emulsion during the synthesis of PVOH is considered to be affected by degradation. The final viscosity was decreased by grafting ratio and molecular weight were decreased with increasing of pH.

CLSM (Controlled Low Strength Material) using coal ash, which has the advantages of self-leveling, self-compacting, flowability, easy re-excavation, has been developed. In this study, CLSM additionally mixed with foaming agent for structural backfill material, aimed at lightness of materials, was developed called light-weight foamed CLSM. As the basic study of this material, to determine the optimum final mixing time and dilution ratio of existing light-weight foamed CLSM, flow, slurry unit weight and unconfined compressive strength test according to each impact factor were performed at the standard mix proportion. As the results of tests, CASE N (Final mixing time 4 min, dilution ratio 2%), CASE O (Final mixing time 3 min, foam agents ratio 3%, dilution ratio 2%) were satisfied with the standard of flow test (above 20cm), slurry unit weight test (12~15 $kN/m^3$) and unconfined compressive strength test (800 kPa~1200 kPa). These results will indicate the standard optimum final mixing time and dilution ratio of light-weight foamed CLSM for structural backfill.

This experiment was carried out to select the best adaptable varieties of Tall fescue in mountainous pastures of Taekwalyon area. The evaluation was based on the data of varietial differences in the dry weight of plant@W) and yield components of the 2nd growth. Nine varieties of Tall fescue examined were Barcel, Barvetia, Demeter, Enforcer, Forager, Fuego, Johnstone, Safe and Stef. And, the final cutting times were Sept. 30 ($C_1$), Oct.14 ($C_2$),Oct. 28 ($C_3$), and Nov. 11($C_4$). The reults were summarized as follows: 1. Barcel and Forager with many tillers per plant(NT) showed a high dry weight of plant@W) of the 2nd growth. 2. The dry weight of plant(DW) of the 2nd growth indicated significantly positive correlation with the number of tillers per plant(NT), but there was not significant correlation with the dry weight of tiller(WT). 3. The maximum dry weight of plant@W) of the 2nd growth was obtained at $C_3$(28 Oct.). 4. The dry weight of the 2nd growth showed an inverse relations with the dry weight of the 1st growth as affected by various final cutting time in growth period of autumn.
This study was conducted to evaluation the effects of dietary soybean meal (SBM) and fermented soybean meal (FSBM) on the growth performance of Korean native cattle as Hanwoo calves (Bos taurus coreanae) and Holstein cows. In total, 16 calves three to four months old (Control group, SBM: 5 males and 3 females, average weight 105.7 kg; Experimental group, FSBM: 5 males and 3 females, average weight 103.7 kg) were fed 5% of the feed amount for 53 days. In terms of growth performance outcomes, the average gain body weight was significantly higher in the FSBM group than in the SBM group in the final fattening period. The average daily gain in body weight (ADGBW) for the FSBM group was higher than that of the SBM group in the final fattening period. The average gain body weight in four months for FSBM was higher than that at three months in the final fattening period. Diarrhea incidence for FSBM was significantly decreased compared to that in the SBM group in the six-week period after weaning. These results indicate that dietary FSBM can improve the growth rate and health condition during the calving period. Holstein cows fed fermented soybean meal had higher milk urea nitrogen levels and decreased somatic cell counts compared to those fed SBM. These results may be closely related with the increased average daily gain body weight associated with dietary FSBM.
Objectives: Purpose of this study is to analyze and to estimate which and how much genetic and environmental factors have affected on growth. Also, a method of final height prediction can be developed from this study results. Methods: Correlation analysis and categorical regression analysis were conducted between genetic and environmental factors correlated with the final adult height, through survey from 171 male. Results: Mid parental height, neonatal body weight, intake frequency of beef, chicken, milk, fruits and coffee, sleep quantity and quality during the elementary school and sleep quantity during the middle school have affected on the final adult height. And a regression equation with 0.494 for coefficient of determination was obtained. Conclusions: Mid-parental-height has the most affected on the final adult height. Among environmental factors, food and sleep have significantly affected, but exercise doesn't. Among foods, meal, beef, and milk intake have remarkably affected on the final height, and chicken and fruit also have affected in some degree, but coffee has affected badly. Among sleep habits, sleep quantity during the elementary school has the most affected, sleep quality during the elementary school and sleep quantity during the middle school also have affected in some degree on final height. The younger the age is, the more sleep have affected and sleep quantity have more affected than sleep quality. Neonatal weight also has remarkably affected on the final height. Through this analysis, the final adult height can be predicted using regression equation which covers 49.4% of genetic and environmental factors.
