This is a report of a. case in which a long narrow segment coarctation of the aorta was successfully corrected with Teflon graft. The patient was 30 year old man with hypertensive symptoms that occurred 7 years prior to operation. Blood pressure measured 230/110 mmHg in the arms and 110/80 mmHg in the legs. Pulses were strongly tensive in radial artery, but very weak in femoral artery and even absent in dorsal pedis artery. Final preoperative diagnosis was made by aortography which showed a long narrow segment between aortic arch and descending thoracic aorta and highly developed collateral circulations. A long hypoplastic narrow segment was located proximal to the ligament arteriosus, and diaphragmatic stenosis of the aorta was located just distal to the ligamentum arteriosus. After prosthetic correction of the coarctation of the aorta, blood pressure were measured 130/ 80 mmHg in the arms and 150/100 mmHg in the legs. Peripheral pulses were palpated normally, and the postoperative course was uneventful.

Lichenoid dysplasia is a lichenoid features with epithelial dysplasia clinically and histopathologically similar to oral lichen planus. It can be clinically mistaken for oral lichen planus, but has histopathologic features of dysplasia and a true malignant predisposition. The clinician should be able to differentiate between oral lichen planus and lichenoid dysplasia for the proper management. We experienced a 75-year-old man with erosive, erythematous lesion on the left buccal mucosa previously diagnosed as oral lichen planus. He underwent surgical excision and the final histopathological result confirmed it to be lichenoid dysplasia with massive candidal infection. We report this case with a review of the related literature.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluated the process of model analysis, design, and production for a full mouth prosthetic rehabilitation of function, esthetics, and pronunciation. Methods: This is a case report of class III malocclusion with a severe anterior incisor occlusion and a prosthetic treatment of patient with poor occlusion of posterior teeth. A provisional restoration based on the diagnostic wax-up was applied to the patient. And then functions, esthetics, and occlusal stability were observed during 4 week tracking period. Final restorations were delivered and evaluated based on a systematic analysis, diagnosis and treatment plan. Results: We confirms that this case study obtained the satisfactory results in terms of functions and esthetics. Conclusion : If we can give the patient the continuous evaluation and progress monitoring, we expect the dentist and the dental technician to design the prosthesis successfully.

Tungsten Carbide(WC) Roll is widely used in finishing stands of wire rod mill. This report is about the manufacturing method of WC roll with excellent wear resistance. To enhance wear resistance, WC content has been increased to the maximum extent while binder content such as Co, Ni, Cr has been minimized. Part of WC is replaced with TiC having more wear resistant than WC. WTiC powder has been used to prevent weight unbalance resulting from the difference of specific weight when adding TiC. The roll manufactured by this method, is having more wear resistance than the existing rolls when applying to the final stand of the finishing mill. This report shows that WC is the critical factor of wear resistance in WC rolls and an approprite amount of TiC effects wear resistance and when adding TiC, using WTiC powder is better.

A keratoacanthoma is a rapidly growing cutaneous tumor that spontaneously involutes in most instances. A giant keratoacanthoma is a rare variant and are characterized by lesions larger than 20 mm in diameter. We report a 56-year-old man with a rapidly growing tumor of the right cheek, which was diagnosed as keratoacanthoma. The mass was excised completely under general anesthesia, followed by Limberg flap for reconstruction. Intraoperative frozen section histology suggested the lesion to be a well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, whereas final histopathology was consistent with keratoacanthoma. We herein report the first case of a giant keratoacanthoma treated with surgical excision in Korea and discuss the clinical and histopathological features of keratoacanthoma, with a review of the literature.

The Lion Air JT610 accident in Indonesia in October 2018, along with the Ethiopian Airline ET302 accident in March 2019, is an significant aircraft accident that detects defects of the B737MAX aircraft. Shortly after the accident, the FAA prohibited operation of the aircraft. This action has affected the market environment of airlines and aircraft manufacturers around the world. In October 2019, Indonesian Traffic Safety Committee released an accident investigation report for Lion Air JT610, which concluded that the causes of the accident were MCAS design defects, lack of education and training, and errors in the repair process. This paper summarizes the flight control system of the B737MAX aircraft, the causes of the accident based on the final accident investigation report, and provides considerations for aircraft design and retrofit.

This is a case report and review of literature that deal with a surgical correction of mandibular deficiency. Patient, 38 years old male, had visited to treat mandibular deficiency. On the basis of clinical and radiographic examination, he was diagnosed as a micrognathia. Surgical method. 1. Intraoral Bilateral sagittal split osteotomy 2. Augmentation of genioplasty - double step. Patient was satisfied with final esthetics by gnathosurgery.

Angiokeratoma is a cutaneous vascular disorder that occurs at any sites as trunk,extremities, fingers and toes etc. Although solitary or multiple cutaneous lesions have been reported, oral lesions have been very care. A 72-year-old man who had an exophtic, essile mass with dark red, black colored which located on buccal mucosa, was treated with excisional biopsy. He had no specific systemic history except for the medication of allopurinol, for treatment of gout since 10 years. Final diagnosis was determined as angiokeratoma by evaluation of clinical and histopathological finding, and the lesion has not been recurred for two months by decrease of allopurinol. It has been emphasized that the relationship between oral mucosal disease and the complication of allopurinol. Allopurinol is widely used for gout treatment, which we will report a case on the allopurinol-associated angiokeratoma in the oral mucosa.

In the Pediatric Dentalc profession the occurrence rate intrusion of young permanent teeth is rather low, and the treatment method varies from one another. Intrusion of the teeth bring complications to the pulp and periodontal ligament, and thus the possibility of endodontic treatment increases. For the formation of calcific barriers, calcium hydroxide is used in young permanent teeth and this makes the final canal filling possible. In this case report, we will show two cases of young permanent teeth intrusion and the treatment methods to help assess the recognition of treatment for young permanent teeth intrusion.

Neurogenic tumors are the most prevalent tumors of the mediastinum, and schwannomas are the most common type of neurogenic tumor. Primary neurogenic neoplasm of the esophagus is uncommon and malignant schwannoma of the esophagus is extremely rare. We report a case of a 27-year-old female presenting with dysphagia and palpitations who was found to have a lobulated tumor in the mediastinum that was compressing the esophageal lumen. The tumor was successfully treated surgically without recurrence. The final diagnosis, on histopathological examination of the specimen, was malignant schwannoma.
