  • 분진여과시 형성되는 분진 케이크는 궁극적인 여과 성능을 좌우하며, 필터의 구조, 분진 입자의 형태나 크기, 분진농도, 여과속도 등에 의해 영향을 받는다 특히 필터의 표면 구조나 기공 크기는 여과 초기 단계의 케이크 층의 구조를 결정하며, 연속적인 여과시 초기 케이크 층은 다음에 쌓이는 케이크 형성과 비저항에 영향을 주므로 필터 medium 구조 또한 분진여과 과정에서 중요한 영향 요인이 된다. 본 연구에서는 필터 medium의 구조가 서로 다른 고온가스정화용 복합 세라믹 필터, metal fiber mat, 스테인레스 필터를 이용하여 분진농도와 여과속도를 변수로 하여 분진 여과 실험을 함으로써 각각의 필터에 대한 케이크 비저항과 기공율을 실험과 이론식으로부터 추정하였다. 현탁액의 농도에 다른 여과 현균비저항값의 변화 (Changes of Average Specific Resistance on Suspension Concentration)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the change of average .specific resistance according to suspension concentration for study phenomena occurring during filtration period. As the results of this study, the following conclusions were obtained. The average specific resistance in 1% $CaCO_3$ suspension was showed power function(R=0.99), whereas in TOYO 5C and TOYO 5A paper were made little difference under high pressure. It represented from results that filtration theory in concord with cake filtration was no affected the average specific resistance of filter medium in cake filtration. In case of 0.1% $CaCO_3$ suspension filtration, the TOYO 5C was showed power function, whereas in TOYO 5A paper differently. In the present study, the $P_1$ value was calculated from the average specific resistance by filtration method. Therefore, $P_1$ value were $1.68\times 10^4Pa$, $4.05\times 10^3Pa$, and $3.15\times 10^3Pa$ in $5.3\times 10^4Pa$, $1.3\times 10^4Pa$, and $8.2\times 10^3Pa$, respectively. We concluded that propriety of new filtration theory was also proved.

사료 부원료 하역과정에서 발생하는 비산먼지의 여과특성 (Filtration Characteristics of the Fugitive Dust Emitting from Animal Feedstuff Handling)

  • Animal feedstuff handling is one of the major fugitive dust sources in the port of Incheon. For the effective control of fugitive dusts emitting from the port of Incheon, dust control facilities with bag filter systems should be designed properly considering the characteristic of the fugitive dusts including those from animal feedstuffs. The ultimate goal of this study is thus to develop the optimum fugitive dust control system which will be applicable for the renovation of the port. As the first step to achieve this longstanding goal, filtration characteristics of soybean shell, the largest dust sources in the port, were investigated with the specially designed filter testing apparatus for this study. The variables tested for the experiments included filter materials, dust concentrations, relative humidities, and filtration velocities. Also, the filtration characteristics of the other animal feedstuffs such as sunflower seed shell, tapioca, and palm shell were investigated to determine $K_2$ as a function of filtration velocity. The information on $K_2$ will be used to design the optimum bag filter systems for animal feedstuffs handling in the port.

방사성폐기물 유리화 플랜트 고온여과시스템의 성능 특성 (Performance of High Temperature Filter System for Radioactive Waste Vitrification Plant)

  • 파일럿 규모의 유리화플랜트에서 일련의 시험을 통해 고온 세라믹 캔들 필터 시스템의 주요 운전 변수 및 성능을 평가하였다. 실증 시험결과 매 시험초기에는 필터 표면 먼지층(Dust cake)의 생성으로 인해 필터 매질에 걸리는 차압이 급격히 상승하였다. 그런 다음 차압은 곧 일정한 범위에서 안정되었고, 표면유속(Face velocity)에 비례하여 계속적으로 변화하였다. 이와 반대로, 필터 투과율(Permeability)은 매시험 초기에 급격히 감소하였다. 필터표면 먼지의 역세정은 공기압 3~5 bar범위 일때 효율적이었다. 필터 입구 및 출구에서 동시에 등속으로 채취한 먼지농도를 바탕으로 필터의 먼지 포집율(Dust collection efficiency)을 평가한 결과 필터 성능은 설계값인 99.9%과 같은 것으로 나타났다. 100시간의 장기시험을 포함한 일련의 실증시험을 수행하는 동안 고온 필터 시스템의 성능에 영향을 주는 특별한 문제점은 발견되지 않았다.

혐기소화폐액의 응집제 특성에 따른 멤브레인 필터프레스의 고액분리 특성 (Solid-liquid Separation Characteristics of Membrane Filter Press according to Coagulant Properties of Anaerobic Digestion Waste Water)

  • 최근 들어 유기성폐기물의 혐기소화를 이용한 처리(에너지화)가 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라서 혐기소화 후 발생하는 혐기소화폐액의 처리방안에 대한 연구도 증가하고 있다. 그러나, 혐기소화폐액의 특성상 문제로 고액분리에 매우 어려움이 있다.이에 본 연구에서는 CST와 TTF를 이용하여 혐기소화폐액에 대한 응집에 따른 고액분리 특성을 파악하였다. 또한 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 실험실수준의 멤브레인 필터프레스를 제작하고, 혐기소화폐액에 적용하였다. 고분자 응집제는 7192PLUS와 1T60가 가장 적합한 것으로 확인되었으며, 최소 7192PLUS (200 mg/L), 1T60 (100 mg/L)이상의 투입이 필요하였다. 탈수효율을 평가하기 위하여 탈수케이크의 함수율과 탈리여액의 입자성 고형물을 이용하였다. 결과적으로, 멤브레인 필터프스를 이용하여 고액분리 시 입자성 고형물의 제거효율은 97.4%로 높게 나타났으며, 탈수케이크의 함수율은 65%이하로 나타났다.

  • This study is to develop the pretreatment for the excess and digested sludge by elector-coagulation and dewatering. Electrocoagulation is applied to excess and digested sludge before transferring to the pistion type for dewatering. Piston type filter press as a laboratory scale plant was used to estimate the dewaterability. MMD of excess sludge was increased from initial diameter of particles ($34.16{\mu}m$) to the 87%($64.01{\mu}m$) after electrocoagulation. Al electrode is more effective than Fe electrode for the dewaterabiltity of excess sludge Electrodewatering after electrocoagulation as pretreatment makes the water content of sludge cake 50~60 wt%.

  • Performance of domestic glass fabrics was tested in a Pulse- jet cleaned fabric filter under simulated coal combustion. Pulse Pressure were 2.5, 4.0kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and pulse air nozzle diameter were 4.0, 6.0mm Pressure drop and penetration turned out to be low at small pulse air nozzle diameter and low pulse air pressure. Fractional penetration through the dust cake and fabric at face velocity of 1.7m/min was higher than that at face velocity of 1.0m/min. As a consequense, the performance of domestic glass fabrics was better with face velocity of less than 1.0m/min, pulse air pressure of 2.5 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and pusle air nozzle diameter of 4.0mm.

  • Expression is on operation of separating liquid from solid liquid mixtures which has long been used on a universal scale in widely divergent fields. In fruit pulps processing and fermentation industries. removal of a portion of the liquid in filler cake is essential to the maximum yields of products. In sewage sludge treatments, dewatering of filter cakes is important to disposal by incineration. transportation. and landfill. In the chemical process industries, drying of wet cakes increases cost, and it is desirable to eliminate as much liquor as possible by non-thermal methods. This paper is mainly concerned with the development of a simplified equation for constant-pressure expression.

  • The objective of this investigation was to evaluate applicability of precoat filtration for drinking water treatment. Precoat filter used in this experiment are candle filter. Element disk of candle used in this experiment are pore size 5$\mu\textrm{m}$(W), 10$\mu\textrm{m}$(R), 20$\mu\textrm{m}$(B) and 40$\mu\textrm{m}$(Y). And diatomaceous earth are cake pore size 3.5$\mu\textrm{m}$(A), 7$\mu\textrm{m}$(B) and 17$\mu\textrm{m}$(C). Filtrate of precoat filter during 30min are R-C 11.3, B-C 10.2, W-C 8.9, Y-C 8.6, Y-B 7.1, R-A 5.4(㎥/㎡). Turbidity of the effluent can be attained under 0.1NTU with the all combination.
