As the cultural industry might be regarded as the most intimate industry to the general public, it is relatively easy to be widely accepted. With the development of the internet, not only people in various countries have been closely connected, but production networks around the world might also be connected with each other. This article will use data and case studies to clarify how global production networks operate in the development of the cultural industry. By taking the relatively novel point of contact of connection between global production networks and the development of the cultural industry, it summarizes the development models of the film, television and music sectors in the Korean cultural industries. The study found that the development model of the film, television and music industry from the 1990s to the present could be divided into four phases, and most firms are now in the outsourcing and expansion phase. Relying on the huge production networks, these two industries are likely to be improving their popularity and added value through global cooperation.

Electrochemical ion exchange method is expected to be one of the most acceptable techniques for the separation of radioactive cations from nuclear wastewater. In this study a thin film of hexacyanoferrate on nickel surface was derivatized chemically in an aqueous potassium-ferricyanide solution. Electrochemical redox behavior of the nickel hexacyanoferrate(NiHCNFe) film electrode was investigated with the use of cyclic voltammetry potentiostated from -100 to 800 mV versus SCE. The electro-reduction characteristics of the NiHCNFe film were examined in the cobalt solutions. The NiHCNFe ion exchanger was more useful at lower concentration, lower temperature, and pH7 of the cobalt solution. The capacity loss of NiHCNFe was 0.018%/cycle that was less than the average loss of 2~3%/cycle of the convective organic exchanger. The 45~55% of the initial cobalt ions was electro-deposited on the NiHCNFe by using continuous recirculating reactor system. As a result, it was found that the electroactive NiHCNFe films showed better performance than the organic resins for the separation of cobalt ion from the aqueous solutions.

The retro fashion and orientalism have been the main trend in the fashion industry tram 2000 as the turning point tram the minimalism. In particular, the far eastern oriental ism, that is, Japanese orientalism had been rapidly spread from 2001. As the trend has been moving to Chinese orientalism from 2003, the fabrics with flower pattern prints and those imbued with Chinese orientalism that were popular in 1960 are the main stream in the textile industry at present. As keeping up with the current trend, this study analyzed the common features and differences between textile patterns with Chinese orientalism that are prevailing ai present and the textile patterns that were popular in 1960s through the film "In the Mood for Love" that told the story of people who immigrated from Shanghai to Hong Kong in 1960s. According to the analysis, the popular textile patterns in 1960s were splendid flower patterns, pop art and op art patterns. Such a trend was elegantly expressed as the textile pattern of Chinese orientalism using qipao in the film "In the Mood for Love".

Transparent and conducting IGZO thin films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering on thin Cu coated glass substrates to investigate the effect of a Cu buffer layer on the structural, optical, and electrical film properties. Although X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that both the IGZO single layer and IGZO/Cu bi-layered films were in the amorphous phase, the IGZO/Cu films showed a lower resistivity of 5.7×10⁻⁴ Ωcm due to the increased mobility and high carrier concentration. The decreased optical transmittance of the IGZO/Cu films was also attributed to a one order of magnitude higher carrier concentration than the IGZO films. From the observed results, the thin Cu layer is postulated to be an effective buffer film that can enhance the opto-electrical performance of the IGZO films in transparent thin film transistors.

In this study, the surface of polyimide (PI) films was modified using ion implantation to enhance its adhesion to a deposited copper (Cu) layer. The surfaces of the PI films were implanted with 150 keV $Xe^+$ ions at fluences varying from $1{\times}10^{14}$ to $1{\time}10^{16}ions\;cm^{-2}$. The Cu layers were then deposited on the implanted PI. The surface properties of the implanted PI film were investigated based on the contact angle measurements, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Furthermore, the adhesive strength between the deposited Cu layer and PI film was estimated through a scratch test using a nanoindenter. As a result, the surface environment of the PI film was changed by the ion implantation, which could have a significant effect on the adhesion between the deposited Cu layer and the PI.

South Korean films narrate exquisitely, express emotions implicitly and employ magnificent images, exemplifying unique oriental aesthetics. This paper takes Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds (2017) as an example to analyze the meaning of oriental aesthetics in South Korean films using the Film Narrative Theory. It is a fantasy blockbuster depicting family kinship stories. It structures with the familiar karma and reincarnation of Asian Buddhism with the core of family kinship. Perfectly interpreting the fantasy world of hell with stunning movie effects, it shows the family kinship of families under the main plot line of a horror film.

The film "Parasite" portrays Korea's history and its present in a space that clearly represents the real world's hierarchy as a vertical structure. It demonstrates the problems of an insurmountable reality and the elements of various conflicts occurring below the surface of Korean society through a complex mix of human emotions and relationships. The most realistic yet unrealistic characters cross boundaries between being victims and perpetrators, defamiliarizing ordinary scenes from everyday life through their small mistakes, strange obsessions, bizarre behavior, anxious psychology, and desperate struggles. This study analyzes the expression of the film "Parasite" through its characters with the belief that the film expresses director Bong Joon-ho's consistent cinematic philosophy of taking reality beyond the traditional rules of film genres. By doing so, Bong creates a feature of the expression that shifts genres as the characters' personalities amplify related behaviors, conflicts and questions, and that this is the core of the unique nuance and distinct humor of this film. In addition, the personalities of the characters interact with all the film's elements (cinematic techniques, space, props, etc.), evoking effects of various meanings, which are transmitted through the actors'images and acting. In this respect, the study analyzes how the actors were cast in order to realistically reproduce the characters of the actors, how their acting was harmonized with the film's elements, and its features as well as how they were expressed.

This paper aims to derive the specificity of film music of Baz Luhrmann, a Hollywood film director, focusing on his representative works such as Dancing Heroes, Romeo and Juliet, and Moulin Rouge. Frist, Dancing Heroes captures various dance music genres through dynamic shooting techniques and shows trendy sensibility by using the main theme song 'Time after Time,' sung by the main character, Tina. Second, Romeo and Juliet, the original work of Shakespeare, keeps thier lines and stories while decorating gorgeous fashion and rock music in jukebox style. Also, it is harmonized with the most modern and trendy MTV-style video. Third, Moulin Rouge presents film music through the 'mix and match' method, which consists of jukebox-type trendy songs containing classical back stage musical and Bollywood musical images. In conclusion, the style of Baz Luhrmann has been reborn as a unique way of directing Buz Luhrmann's film music that it is expressed by connecting various juke box style music with amazing visual effect. Through director's style, it is possible to suggest the direction of various film music to the industries.

This study investigated the colors of the costumes in the film 'The Handmaiden'. The author categorized and examined the hue and tone of the main character's costume as well as provided an adjective image surveyed from the standpoint of the audience in order find if the intended story of the director is delivered to the audience through costume colors. Study method analyzed 25 set costume colors of the heroine 'Hideko'. The color analysis were analyzed by capturing DVD images that showed the costume of 'Hideko'. The colors of costumes were analyzed by recognition through the eyes based on the IRI, Hue, and Tone 120. In addition, the analysis of the IRI adjectives image were conducted through the survey. Costume hue of the heroine 'Hideko' in the film 'The Handmaiden' were black, yellow, white, green, and purple. There were many colorful costumes in the movie. Tones were very pale, deep, bright, vivid, strong, and pale. Chroma were evenly distributed and brightness were distributed in the order high, middle, and low. They were interpreted as the intention of showing the situation and psychology of 'Hideko' in various scenes of the film through various costume colors. Color images of the film 'The Handmaiden' were classified as feminine, mature, classy, delicate, classic, noble, polished, refined, showy, western, mellow, pure, and decorative.

The purpose of this study is to compare the quality of digital radiography image with that of classical film images for welded structure in power plants. The CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) flat panel detecter and Agfa D5 film are used to image flaw specimens respectively. In the test, CMOS flat panel detector has been determined to have a better image than that of film image. In the IQI(Image Quality Indicator) transmission test, one or two more line can be seen in digital image than in film image. Digital Radiography Test enabled to successfully detect all defects on the weld specimens fabricated with real reheat stem pipe and boiler tube as well. In the specific comparison test, Digital radiography test detected micro flaws in the size of 0.5 mm in length by 0.5 mm in depth. However, film test has limited it to 1.0 mm in length by 1.0 mm in depth. As a result of this study, digital radiography technology is estimated well enough to perform the inspection in the industry with far more cost effective way, compared to the classical film test.
