Fabrication of Test Panel for AMOLED driven by Pentacene TFTs

  • In this paper we fabricated a test panel for AMOLED on glass and PET substrate. The test panel consisted of the various size of OTFTs and OLEDs and the current driving capability of OTFTs for OLEDs has been investigated. OTFTs were made of the inverted staggered structure and employed polyvinylphenol (PVP) as the gate insulator and pentacene thin film as the active layer. The OTFTs produced the filed effect mobility of 0.3$cm^2$/V.sec and on/off current ratio of $10^5$. OLEDs consisted of TPD for HTL and Alq3 for EML with 35nm thick, generating green monochrome light. We found that OTFT with channel length of 70${\mu}m$and channel width of over 3.5mm provided the sufficient current to OLED to generate the luminescence of 0.3Cd/$m^2$.

삼각 Ballute이 부착된 발사체의 수치적 공력해석 연구 (Numerical Study on the Aerodynamic Behavior of a Projectile with a Triangular Ballute)

  • Numerical flow-filed computations have been conducted around a projectile with a triangular ballute at Mach numbers of 0.3 ~ 0.9 and angles of attack of $0^{\circ}\;{\sim}\;30^{\circ}$. The expansion shape of a triangular ballute has been determined from both the manufacturing dimensions and the wind tunnel test results. It has been assumed that the shape does not alter after the ballute has been expanded completely. The computed results showed a good agreement with the wind tunnel test results. A sensitivity analysis on the aerodynamic coefficients has been performed to evaluate the quantitative effects on the flight performance. Trajectory simulation results were also in good agreement with the flight test results.

  • 본 연구에서는 튜브-열차 시스템의 기본적인 유동장의 특성을 파악하고, 튜브열차의 공기저항을 계산할 수 있는 보다 효율적인 수치 해법을 제시하고 계산 결과에 대한 타당성을 논하였다. 최소한의 계산 영역 내에선 정상상태의 해를 찾기 위하여 비정상 해석의 결과를 기준으로 하여 경계조건의 부여 방법을 변화시킨 정상 해석의 결과를 비교한 결과, 열차속도가 300 km/h일 경우에는 공기저항의 값이 정상해석 결과와 비정상해석 결과가 잘 일치하였으며, 동일 속도 대역에서의 고속열차 현장시험 결과와 비교한 결과 열차/터널 단면적비에 따라 공기저항의 비가 동일한 추세를 나타나는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 논문은 우수한 전기전도도 및 내 아크성을 가진 동계주습판에 관한 것이다. 내마모성이 향상된 동계 주습판을 개발하여 실내실험과 현장실험을 수행하였다. 주습판 재료의 성분 조성을 변경하여 재질과 제조공정을 개선하였으며, 실내실험과 현장실험을 통하여 기존 주습판과 내마모성을 비교하였다. 실내 실험은 다이나모 실험을 통하여 이루어졌으며, 실험결과 개선품의 내마모성은 기존 제품에 비해 2배 정도 향상되었으며, 균질한 마모패턴을 보여주었다. 또한 공용중인 도시철도 구간에서 현장 시험을 수행하였으며, 현장실험결과도 실내 실험과 같이 개발된 개선품의 내구성이 기존품에 비해 2배 정도 향상되었으며, 이상마모가 발생하지 않는다는 것을 확인하였다. 내구성이 향상된 본 개발품의 현장 적용 시, 경제적이고 효과적인 도시철도 노선의 유지보수가 가능할 것으로 판단된다

조립토 지반에 설치된 침투트렌치의 비침투량 산정식 제안 (Suggestion of the Specific Infiltration Equation for Infiltration Trench Installed in a Granular Ground)

  • 본 연구에서는 제주도와 같이 투수성이 매우 높은 지반에서의 침투량을 산정하기 위하여 침투트렌치에 대한 모형시험 및 현장시험을 실시하였다. 모형실험결과를 토대로 비침투량 산정식을 제안하였다. 제안된 식에 의해 산정된 침투량은 기존식에 의해 산정된 침투량보다 약 2배 정도 크게 나타났다. 한편, 현장침투시험을 통해 얻어진 침투량을 제안식과 기존식에 의해 얻은 침투량과 비교 한 결과, 현장침투시험을 통해 얻은 침투량은 제안식에 의해 얻은 침투량과 거의 비슷하게 나타났다. 따라서 투수성이 높은 조립토 지반에 설치된 침투트렌치의 침투량을 산정함에 있어 본 연구에서 제안된 침투량 산정식을 적용하는 것이 타당하다.

복합열화촉진실험 및 장기현장폭로실험에 의한 RC구조물 보수공법의 보수성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of Repair Methods for RC structures by Accelerating Test in Combined Deterioration Chamber and Long-Term Field Exposure Test)

  • At present, the selecting system and analytic estimation criterion on repair materials and methods of the deteriorated RC structures have not yet been set up in domestic. Under these circumstances, deterioration such as shrinkage crack, corrosion of rebar has been often occurred after repair, and this finally results in too frequent repairs. In this study, three types of repair methods were experimentally investigated by the accelerating test in a combined deterioration chamber and long-term field exposure test. Three types of repair methods applied in this study belong to a group of polymer cement mortar, which is commonly used in repair works. According to the results of this study, durability of repair mortar layers and corrosion properties of recovered rebar could be investigated in short period by the accelerating test in a combined deterioration chamber, which can simulate the condition of repeated high-and-low temperature and repeated dry-and-wet environment, spraying chloride solution and emitting $CO_2$ gas. After 36 month long-term filed exposure test in the coastal area, harmful macro-cracks are observed in the polymer cement mortar layer of some repair methods. These crack are considered to result from drying shrinkage of polymer cement mortar. Also, after 36 month exposure, amount of corrosion area and weight loss of rebar are found to be different according to the types of repair methods.

하나로 2 차 냉각탑의 공장분해수리 (Cooling Tower Overhaul of Secondary Cooling System in HANARO)

  • HANARO, an open-tank-in-pool type research reactor of 30 MWth power in Korea, has been operating normally since its initial criticality in February, 1995. For the last about ten years, A cooling tower of a secondary cooling system has been operated normally in HANARO. Last year, the cooling tower has been overhauled for preservative maintenance including fills, eliminators, wood support, water distribution system, motors, driving shafts, gear reducers, basements, blades and etc. This paper describes the results of the overhaul. As results, it is confirmed that the cooling tower maintains a good operability through a filed test. And a cooling capability will be tested when a wet bulb temperature is maintained about 28 $^{\circ}C$ in summer and the reactor is operated with the full power.

곡선 강교량 피로균열 보수.보강방안 (Repair and Retrofit of Fatigue crack for Curved Girder Bridge)

  • In order to investigate and estimate the cause of fatigue crack occurred to curved girder bridge that is used during 20 years, in this study, filed tests to obtain the characteristic of stress hysteresis were performed under the real traffic flows. From these test results, we analyzed the cause of fatigue crack for various fatigue crack patterns. Also, the characteristic of structural behavior for the curved girder bridge were examined from the FE analysis. In addition, to retrofit various fatigue cracks occurred in the bridge, FE analyses considering the characteristics of crack patterns were performed and retrofitting methods were suggested.

Effects of the External Magnetic field on the Critical Current and AC Loss of HTS Stacked Tapes

  • According to the improvement of the HTS wires performance, several types of HTS superconducting machines are being developed. Stacked HTS tapes are used to conduct the current of the HTS power machines. To develop the HTS power machines, the critical current characteristics of a stacked HTS tapes in external field need be examined. In this paper, we present effect of the external magnetic field on the critical current of HTS stacked tapes. The critical current of various Hinds of multi-stacked HTS tapes in external magnetic filed are compare with that of a single HTS tape. Test results show that critical current of single HTS tape is smaller than that of multi-stacked HTS tape in the external field.

2[MVA] 배전용 몰드변압기의 과도전계해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Transient Analysis of 2[MVA] Mold Transformer for Electric Field)

  • This paper presents the electric field for 22.9[kV]/380[V], 2[MVA] mold transformer are analysed using FEM(finite element method). The electric field was calculated for the voltage applied to the transformer. Then, it is analysed that the maximum electric field occurred between high voltage turns. Capacitance is calculated with energy method. Surge impulse test simulation is studied by modeling circuit with capacitance and inductance. This paper obtain the result that is about influence of electric field in distribution mold transformer adopted.
