A new PIV technique was developed for decreasing optical error which was created during simultaneous measurements of velocity fields at a wall-normal plane and wall-parallel plane by a plane PIV and a Stereo-PIV systems. For experimental study, two different Reynolds number based on momentum thickness, Re$_{ =514 and 934 were generated in a blowing type wind tunnel under the condition of zero pressure gradient. The two Nd:Yag laser systems and three CCD cameras were synchronized. to obtain instantaneous velocity fields at the same time. To avoid optical noise at the crossing line by the two laser light sheets, a new optical arrangement using polarization was applied. The obtained velocity fields show the existence of hairpin packet structure vividly and the idealized hairpin vortex signature is confirmed by experiment.

Mathematics has developed dramatically in today's world and come to be increasingly put into practical use in various fields in society. However, many Japanese students dislike mathematics. We have to study mathematics education with this situation in our mind. When we consider a better educational material, we don't have to consider only within the framework of the current school mathematics. We can expect to find good mathematical materials in fields beyond the school mathematics. In this paper, we study how the inclusion of idea such as 'fuzzy theory' and 'graph theory' influences pupils' approaches to learning mathematics.

In this study electromagnetic fields generated by currents of electric wires with finite lengths were deduced and formulated to apply to the indoor distribution lines and also using the formula electromagnetic fields were calculated for various configurations of conductors and through analyzing the results mitigation of electromagnetic fields was investigated.

본 연구는 고등학교 인문계 수학과 대학 경상계열 전공학문 내용과의 연계성을 알아보기 위하여 M대학교 경영대학 경제학과, 경영학과와 금융보험학과에 재학 중인 대학생과 교수들을 대상으로 고등학교 인문계 수학 학습 내용과 대학 경상계열 전공학문과의 연계성에 대한 인식을 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 고등학교 인문계 수학과 대학 경상계열 전공학문의 연계성을 강화하기 위하여 고등학교 학생들이 수학적 개념과 원리에 대해 충분히 이해할 수 있는 수학교육이 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 경상계열로 진학하고자 하는 인문계 고등학생들에게 수학이 전공학문을 공부하는데 필요한 교과목이라는 인식을 심어줄 필요가 있다.

In this study, electromagnetic fields emitted from the various environment in the hospital were measured. Measurement spot was patients' head. To monitor how much magnetic fields are emitting from operation room, monitoring device was attached to 19 anesthesiologist and monitoring lasted 8 hours. We also took a measurement from various medical devices. Devices include ESWL, PET, MRI, CT, Gamma knife, X-ray, Angiogram, Echocardiogram, Upper GI and Linear Accelerator. Electromagnetic fields were measured from 10 spots from each of 5 patient waiting room. As a results, there were no places showing risk of high exposure. All the measurement values were below the reference levels for general public exposure to time varying electric and magnetic fields which is issued by ICNIRP.

We study optical quantum transition line widths in relation to magnetic field dependence properties of the electrons confined in an infinite square well potential system between z = 0 and z = L_z in the z - direction. We consider two systems-one is subject to right circularly oscillating external fields and the other is subject to left circularly oscillatory external fields. Our results indicate that the line widths of right circularly oscillating external fields is larger than the line widths of left, while the opposite result is obtained for the line widths.
