작업관련 근골격계질환의 요양재해 추이 분석 및 위험요인과 유병률에 관한 고찰 (Analysis of Trends in Patients with Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders and Literature Review of Risk Factors and Prevalence)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the recent trends in patients with work-related musculoskeletal disorders in South Korea and to check the major results by reviewing the literature on the risk factors and prevalence of musculoskeletal diseases related to work. Methods: Industrial disaster data from the Ministry of Employment and Labor from 2012 to 2021 were used, and the literature was reviewed regarding risk factors for musculoskeletal diseases related to work using PubMed and RISS. Results: The trend of patients with work-related musculoskeletal disorders has increased overall since 2017 after declining until 2016, with a particularly notable increase in the average annual number of patients with physical burden work. The average annual rate per ten thousand people for patients with body burden work, non-accidental lower back pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome among work-related diseases was high in the mining industry. The average annual rate per ten thousand people for patients with accidental lower back pain was the highest in the fishing industry. Within the manufacturing field, it was the highest in the shipbuilding and ship repair industry. As a result of the literature review, the search rate for work-related musculoskeletal disease papers in unstructured work was high. In addition, physical stress factors were high among risk factors, and pain areas showed a high rate for the waist. Conclusion: Even after the institutional implementation of a hazard investigation system related to musculoskeletal diseases is implemented, the number of patients with occupational musculoskeletal disorders continues to increase. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct regular surveys and implement effective improvement activities for vulnerable industries or occupations.

폐기물을 활용한 업사이클링 뷰티디자인 (Upcycling Beauty Design Using Waste)

  • This study delves into the realm of upcycling beauty design by repurposing discarded CDs, magazines, and fabrics. The study outlines a meticulous process for transforming waste into beauty designs. We created three upcycling beauty design works as part of this investigation. The first creation, called Silver Leaf, uses the silver section of CDs to craft leaves and stems. Achromatic colors are used as makeup to achieve cyber-inspired imagery. After carrying out silver-gray eye makeup, the lips were completed by affixing a CD component. The second creation is a firebird crafted by cutting or folding fashion magazines to create essential items. The colorful firebird image was completed using vivid color makeup of shades such as red and yellow. After proceeding with red eye makeup, the lips were completed by cutting and pasting magazine cutouts. The third piece is a spring flower, which involved selectively cutting lace patterns to complete a beauty design extending from head to face. The colors are spring-themed and encompass pink, yellow, and blue. Pink, blue, and green eyeshadows were applied on the lace, attached from head to face, chest, and lips. This study advocates for the prospect of upcycling beauty design using sustainable materials by repurposing waste resources. It also introduces the possibilities of creative activities in this field through upcycling. The study aims to play a role in changing the perception of environmental conservation, a concern of our times, through the use of sustainable resources.

Breeding of 'Jinmani' Cultivar of Gomchwi with Disease Resistance, High Quality and Yield

  • Gomchwi using stuffed leaves is many cultivated for 'Gondalbi(Ligularia stenocephala)' among Gomchwi species. 'Gondalbi' species like to be cultivation on farm because of low the incense and the bitter taste, and high yield. But 'Gondalbi' caused to curtail yield that susceptibility of powdery mildew disease and shriveling and death of plant on summer season. To solve this problems, we crossed a Gomchwi and 'Handeari-gomchwi' to have resistance of powdery mildew disease and high yield. A new Gomchwi cultivar 'Jinmani' was bred by crossing between Gomchwi (Ligularia fischeri (Ledeb.) Turcz.) and Handaeri-gomchwi (Ligularia fischeri var. spiciformis Nakai). The selection and investigation of growth and yield characteristics were conducted from 2007 to 2020 in field and greenhouse of Highland Agriculture Research Institute, NICS, Rural Development Administration. The color of petiole ear was purple. trichome of petiole and leaf back non-existed, and luster of leaf back existed. Density of leaf vein was 4 degree among 1-5 degree in a newly developed cultivar 'Jinmani'. Plant height, leaf length, leaf width and petiole length were 55.7, 21.8, 22.2, and 33.9 cm, respectively in the 2nd year of growth characteristics. Plant size was similar with that of 'Gommany'. Bolting and flowering time were Aug. 5 and Sept. 5, respectively, and Bolting and flowering time of 'Gommany' showed similar to Aug. 8 and Sept. 1, respectively. 'Jinmani' showed higher number of leaves (202 ea.) per plant compared to 'Gommany' (159 ea.). Furthermore, yield was 67.9% higher in 'Jinmani' (2,569 g/plant) than in 'Gommany' (1,530 g/plant). 'Jinmani' showed lower leaf thickness (0.66mm) than 'Gommany' (0.69 mm), and consequently showed more hardness in leaf characteristics (25.1 kg/2) compared to 'Gommany' (24.3kg/cm2). 'Jinmani' showed similar strong resistance compared to 'Gommany' in the susceptibility of powdery mildew disease.

Numerical investigation of turbulence models with emphasis on turbulent intensity at low Reynolds number flows

  • The primary goal of this research is to investigate flow separation phenomena using various turbulence models. Also investigated are the effects of free-stream turbulence intensity on the flow over a NACA 0018 airfoil. The flow field around a NACA 0018 airfoil has been numerically simulated using RANS at Reynolds numbers ranging from 100,000 to 200,000 and angles of attack (AoA) ranging from 0° to 18° with various inflow conditions. A parametric study is conducted over a range of chord Reynolds numbers for free-stream turbulence intensities from 0.1 % to 0.5 % to understand the effects of each parameter on the suction side laminar separation bubble. The results showed that increasing the free-stream turbulence intensity reduces the length of the separation bubble formed over the suction side of the airfoil, as well as the flow prediction accuracy of each model. These models were used to compare the modeling accuracy and processing time improvements. The K- SST performs well in this simulation for estimating lift coefficients, with only small deviations at larger angles of attack. However, a stall was not predicted by the transition k-kl-omega. When predicting the location of flow reattachment over the airfoil, the transition k-kl-omega model also made some over-predictions. The Cp plots showed that the model generated results more in line with the experimental findings.

시추공 수리 이상점 탐지를 위한 기계학습 알고리즘의 적용성 연구 (A Study on the Applicability of Machine Learning Algorithms for Detecting Hydraulic Outliers in a Borehole)

  • 한국원자력연구원은 심부 암반의 수리/지화학 특성 분석을 위해 KURT (KAERI Underground Research Tunnel)를 건설하였고, 다수의 조사용 시추공을 시추하여 각종 시험을 수행 중이다. 시추공 조사에서 목적에 적합한 조사 구간 선정은 매우 중요하며 수리 유동 파악 및 지하수 채수가 목적인 경우, 유량이 풍부한 구간이 조사 목적에 부합한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 구간을 수리 이상점으로 정의했으며, 심도 1km 수준의 시추공 물리검층 자료(온도, 전기전도도)를 활용하여 이를 탐지하고자 하였다. 체계적이고 효율적인 이상점 탐지를 위해 기계학습 알고리즘 중 DBSCAN, OCSVM, kNN, isolation forest을 적용하고 그 적용성을 파악하였다. 데이터 전처리와 알고리즘 최적화를 수행했으며, 그 결과 네 가지 알고리즘은 각각 55, 12, 52, 68개의 수리 이상점을 탐지하였다. 본 논문을 통해 기계학습 알고리즘의 활용 가능성을 확인했으나, 학습에 활용된 입력자료가 제한적이었기 때문에, 향후 추가적인 검증과 보완이 바람직한 것으로 판단된다.

지하 복합플랜트 운영 중 확장을 고려한 격자형 지하공간 파일럿 테스트 (Pilot Test of Grid-Type Underground Space Considering Underground Complex Plant Operation)

  • 격자형 또는 주방식 공법은 수평으로 매장된 광물을 채굴할 목적으로 적용되는 공법이다. 본 연구에서는 자연 암반을 암주로 사용하는 주방식 공법을 지하공간 건설에 적용하기 위해 설계와 파일럿 테스트를 수행하였다. 파일럿 테스트가 수행된 지역은 기존 골재 광산을 운영하는 곳으로 양호한 암반 조건과 적당한 심도를 보유하고 있었다. 파일럿 테스트 부지는 연구 결과 적용이 가능한 광산을 기반으로 접근성, 지반조건 등을 검토하여 후보지를 결정하였으며 상세 지반조사와 설계를 통해 부지 조성공사를 수행하였다. 파일럿 테스트는 암주형상을 8×8 m로 공간의 단면을 8×12 m 크기로 설계되었다. 시험발파를 통해 발파패턴을 결정하고 89공 3 m 굴진 단면 발파를 수행하여 총 92 m 굴진을 완료하였다. 현장 측정을 통해 평균 폭 12.5 m, 평균 높이 8.3 m을 확인하여 연구에서 고려하는 단면 모양과 유사하게 굴착공사를 진행할 수 있었다.

전문 음성사용자와 직업적 음성사용자의 주관적 음성증상 비교 (Comparison of subjective voice symptoms in elite vocal performers and professional voice users)

  • 본 연구는 임상현장에서 직업에 따라 요구되는 음성문제를 이해하는데 도움이 되는 자료를 제공하기 위해 전문 음성 사용자인 직업배우와 직업적 음성사용자인 언어재활사의 주관적 음성증상을 조사하여 그 빈도를 알아보고, 두 집단 간의 주관적 음성증상에 차이가 있는지 비교하였다. 그 결과, 두 집단은 동일하게 11개의 증상 중 '노래 시 고음발성 곤란', '말할 때 목에 힘이 들어감', '음성피로감'이 고빈도 증상으로 나타났다. 두 집단의 주관적 음성증상을 비교한 결과 직업적 음성사용자 집단은 전문 음성사용자 집단에 비해 '노래 시 저음발성 곤란(p=.049)', '쉰 목소리(p=.021)', '말할 때 힘이 듦(p=.032)', '말할 때 목에 통증이 있음(p=.009)', '음성피로감(p=.018)'의 빈도가 더 빈번한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 차이는 두 집단의 음성사용 환경이 다르고, 직업활동 시 요구되는 발성의 차이로 인한 것으로 사료된다.

3차원 정밀탐사 지하시설물 정보 수집 기술 개발 (Development of underground facility information collection technology based on 3D precision exploration)

  • 지상공간의 확보를 위해 도시정비사업, 재개발사업, 고속도로 지하화 등의 굴착공사가 수반된 건설공사가 증가하고 있다. 더불어 이런 건설공사 또는 자연의 영향으로 인해 지하수위가 변동되거나, 노후 상하수도 관로로 인한 토사유출이 원인이 되어 지반함몰이 발생하는 등의 안전사고가 증가하고 있다. 지하시설물 관리기관은 강화된 지하안전관리에 관한 특별법에 따라 지속적인 조사와 탐사를 통해 지하정보의 정확도 향상을 위한 노력을 수행해야 하는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지하시설물의 정확도 확보를 할 수 있도록 3차원 정밀탐사 지하시설물 정보 수집을 위해 장비의 구성과 데이터 처리방식을 정의한다. 그리고 3차원 지하시설물 정보 수집 기술을 개발한다. 이후 개발된 기술을 검증한 결과 수평정확도가 기존 방식 대비 오차를 평균 6cm 가량 향상시켜 공공측량작업규정의 오차범위 이내의 3차원 지하시설물 정보를 취득할 수 있었고, 수직정확도는 기존과 동일한 수준을 확인한다. 향후 본 연구에서 제안한 차량형 3차원 지하시설물 정보수집기술을 활용한다면, 공공측량 성과심사를 득할 수 있는 수준의 지하시설물 정보를 신속하게 대량으로 취득할 수 있는 수집체계 구축이 가능할 것으로 보인다.

Prediction of TBM disc cutter wear based on field parameters regression analysis

  • The investigation of the disc cutter wear prediction has an important guiding role in TBM equipment selection, project planning, and cost forecasting, especially when tunneling in a long-distance rock formations with high strength and high abrasivity. In this study, a comprehensive database of disc cutter wear data, geological properties, and tunneling parameters is obtained from a 1326 m excavated metro tunnel project in leptynite in Shenzhen, China. The failure forms and wear consumption of disc cutters on site are analyzed with emphasis. The results showed that 81% of disc cutters fail due to uniform wear, and other cutters are replaced owing to abnormal wear, especially flat wear of the cutter rings. In addition, it is found that there is a reasonable direct proportional relationship between the uniform wear rate (WR) and the installation radius (R), and the coefficient depends on geological characteristics and tunneling parameters. Thus, a preliminary prediction formula of the uniform wear rate, based on the installation radius of the cutterhead, was established. The correlation between some important geological properties (KV and UCS) along with some tunneling parameters (Fn and p) and wear rate was discussed using regression analysis methods, and several prediction models for uniform wear rate were developed. Compared with a single variable, the multivariable model shows better prediction ability, and 89% of WR can be accurately estimated. The prediction model has reliability and provides a practical tool for wear prediction of disc cutter under similar hard rock projects with similar geological conditions.

간호관련 국민청원 분석: 텍스트네트워크 분석 및 토픽모델링 (National Petition Analysis Related to Nursing: Text Network Analysis and Topic Modeling)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the main keyword, network structure, and main topics of the national petition related to "nursing" in South Korea. Methods: Data were gathered from petitions related to the national petition in Korea Blue House related to the topic "nursing" or "nurse" from August 17, 2017, to May 9, 2022. A total of 5,154 petitions were searched, and 995 were selected for the final analysis. Text network analysis and topic modeling were analyzed using the Netminer 4.5.0 program. Results: Regarding network characteristics, a density of 0.03, an average degree of 144.483, and an average distance of 1.943 were found. Compared to results of degree centrality and betweenness centrality, keywords such as "work environment," "nursing university," "license," and "education" appeared typically in the eigenvector centrality analysis. Topic modeling derived four topics: (1) "Improving the working environment and dealing with nursing professionals," (2) "requesting investigation and punishment related to medical accidents," (3) "requiring clear role regulation and legislation of medical and nonmedical professions," and (4) "demanding improvement of healthcare-related systems and services." Conclusion: This is the first study to analyze Korea's national petitions in the field of nursing. This study's results confirmed both the internal needs and external demands for nurses in South Korea. Policies and laws that reflect these results should be developed.
