보청기에서 적응궤환제거의 성능 향상 (Improving the Performance of Adaptive Feedback Cancellation in Hearing Aids)

  • 본 논문에서는 보청기에서의 적응궤환 제거 성능을 개선하기 위한 방법들을 제안하였다. 첫번째 방법은 순시 경사치를 모니터링하여 최적해를 추적해 가는 것으로 직교원리를 이용한 음향학적 궤환제거 방법이고 다른 하나는 본 실험실에서 제안된 적응 알고리즘인 보상기를 가진 적응알고리즘을 이용한 방법이다. 다양한 시뮬레이션 조건하에서 본 논문에서 제안된 적응 궤환제거 방법이 Greenberg가 제안한 합-방식(Sum-method) 최소자승오차 알고리즘 보다 시스템 부정합, 신호대 잡음비(SNR: Signal-to-Noise Ratio) 및 세그멘트 SNR에서 훨씬 좋은 성능을 나타내었다. 또한 적응 궤환제거에 있어서 직교원리를 이용한 방법은 시뮬레이션에서 보상기를 가진 적응알고리즘을 이용한 방법과 유사한 성능을 나타내었다.

Problems of Special Causes in Feedback Adjustment

  • Process adjustment is a complimentary tool to process monitoring in process control. Process adjustment directs on maintaining a process output close to a target value by manipulating another controllable variable, by which significant process improvement can be achieved. Therefore, this approach can be applied to the 'Improve' stage of Six Sigma strategy. Though the optimal control rule minimizes process variability in general, it may not properly function when special causes occur in underlying process, resulting in off-target bias and increased variability in the adjusted output process, possibly for long periods. In this paper, we consider a responsive feedback control system and the minimum mean square error control rule. The bias in the adjusted output process is investigated in a general framework, especially focussing on stationary underlying process and the special cause of level shift type. Illustrative examples are employed to illustrate the issues discussed.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient configuration of a system for the remote control of a mobile robot. The interface has a video feedback and runs in standard web environments. For control servers of mobile robot and CCD camera, we use the environment with embedded web server Specific program has been developed in order to grab the images using Microsoft Visual C++ The external camera sends the video signal to a framegrabber in the PC, then this program grabs the images and puts them in shared memory in BMP format. For a video feedback, we use image feedback based on the client pull technique supported by Netscape and Internet Explorer.

  • A company needs to maintain its machines always workable in order to keep the manufacturing time minimal. If any troubles un, they should be fixed as soon as possible. But, the complexity of modem machines make the trouble shooting difficult. So, it is important that the monitoring system for automated production system to fix every trobule easily. In this paper new, inverter control system for TG feedback a formula Control was developed. The motor control system with TG feedback controller as an effect of load disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of Control System. The function of the implementation are TG feedback type, and temperature scheme. The Inverter Control System approach is based on master-slave control concept. To show validity of the developed new inverter control system severial experiments are illustrated.

Effects of Self-Checked Monitoring Home Exercises on Gait, Balance, Strength, and Activities of Daily Living in People with Parkinson's Disease

  • Background: Self-checked monitoring home exercises are recommended for preventing falls among people with Parkinson's disease. However, as these home exercises are performed autonomously by patients without professional management, their accuracy and efficiency can be compromised. Objective: To investigate the effects of providing regular training sessions to patients and caregivers and of patient self-monitoring of exercise performance following the implementation of a self-checked monitoring exercise program for people with Parkinson's disease. Design: Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Methods: We provided regular self-checked monitoring home exercise and general home exercise programs to 30 participants for 12 weeks. Once a month at the first, fifth, and ninth-week sessions, a rehabilitation team attended the Parkinson's group education. In addition to the subject in the experimental group perform the home exercises program to provide feedback regarding the home exercises program and to carry out a self-monitoring checklist performance for 12 weeks. Results: The 10 m walk test, functional reach test, and sit to stand test and the modified Barthel index significantly improved in the self-checked monitoring home exercise group. Conclusion: These results suggest that self-checked home exercise programs, which facilitate safety and consistent performance of exercises at home, are beneficial for people with Parkinson's disease.

BcN의 실시간 트래픽 모니터링을 위한 RBC(Rule-based Capture) 알고리즘 (Rule-based Capture algorithm for an Real-time Traffic Monitoring of BcN)

  • In this paper, we propose a new real-time traffic monitoring scheme for the BcN, the RBC algorithm and investigate its operation. We implemented RBC algorithm and constructed the testbed and we confirmed the performance for this. The simulation result shows that traffic monitoring log size is reduced remarkably by using the RBC. An operation hour is reduced and a feedback support of Real-time is possible also. Consequently, RBC algorithm confirmed we are fit for Real-time TE plan for BcN.

CAN을 이용한 발전계통의 제어 및 모니터링 기법 연구 (A Study on the Power System Control and Monitoring Technique Using CAN)

  • In this paper, we present a new control and monitoring technique for a power system using CAN(Controller Area Network). Feedback control systems having co'ntrol loops closed through a network(i.e. Ethernet, ControlNet, CAN) are called NCSs(Networked Control Systems). The major problem of NCSs is the variation of stability property according to time delay including network-induced delay and computation delay in nodes. We present a new stability analysis method of NCSs with time delay exploiting a state-space model of LTI(Linear Time Invariant) interconnected systems. The proposed method can determine a proper sampling period of NCSs that preserves stability performance even in NCSs with a dynamic controller. We design CAN nodes which can transmit control and monitoring data through CAN bus and apply these to NCSs for a power system. The results of the experiment validate effectiveness of our control and monitoring technique for a power system.

A Framework for Computer Vision-aided Construction Safety Monitoring Using Collaborative 4D BIM

  • Techniques based on computer vision are becoming increasingly important in construction safety monitoring. Using AI algorithms can automatically identify conceivable hazards and give feedback to stakeholders. However, the construction site remains various potential hazard situations during the project. Due to the site complexity, many visual devices simultaneously participate in the monitoring process. Therefore, it challenges developing and operating corresponding AI detection algorithms. Safety information resulting from computer vision needs to organize before delivering it to safety managers. This study proposes a framework for computer vision-aided construction safety monitoring using collaborative 4D BIM information to address this issue, called CSM4D. The suggested framework consists of two-module: (1) collaborative BIM information extraction module (CBIE) extracts the spatial-temporal information and potential hazard scenario of a specific activity; through that, Computer Vision-aid Safety Monitoring Module (CVSM) can apply accurate algorithms at the right workplace during the project. The proposed framework is expected to aid safety monitoring using computer vision and 4D BIM.

  • 도로상에서 과속과 그로 인한 교통사고를 방지하기 위하여 교통안전시설물 뿐만 아니라 여러 가지의 속도저감 장치 및 교통공학적인 운영기법이 적용되고 있다. 그러나 우리나라에서 속도 저감 및 과속방지를 위하여 무작위 속도단속에 치중하여 온 것이 현실이다. 하지만 최근 ITS기술을 접목하여 속도를 운전자에게 표출시켜 운전자 스스로 자신의 속도를 자각하게 하여 차량의 주행속도를 저감시키는 가변속도표출기가 도입되어 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가변속도 표출기의 개념과 사례를 살펴보고 우리나라의 과천에서 설치된 가변속도표출기의 효과를 운영전과 운영중으로 나누어 가변속도표출기가 차량속도 저감에 미치는 영향 분석해 보았다. 또한 다른 속도 저감장치 즉, 속도제한표지, 스쿨죤 안내표지와의 비교를 통한 유효성을 검증하였다.
