  • The goal of this research, contorted from the perspective of media aesthetics, is to uncover the ways how mechanical/cybersensual fashion products express aesthetic characteristics of cybernetics, by comparing them with digital products designed by an application of cybernetics. The other goal is to provide a cultural and design framework of cybernetics as d digital-environmental medium for fashion in which hightech and human sensibilities are fused. The results urged to explore two new contrasting perceptual possibilities for an understanding of digital technology application: negative and positive feedbacks. Cybernetic optimism, centered on technological dimensions, focuses on a concept of fashion that emphasize instrumental aspects-efficiency and convenience. In contrast, cybernetic pessimism focuses on digital fashion that expresses environmental destruction and the loss of human identity. A comparative analysis of the aesthetics of expression in digital fashion design and digital industrial products from a cybernetic perspective showed that in digital environment society, the combination of negative and positive feedbacks resulted in design products in which internal and external aspects of beauty complemented each other.

  • Forming perceptions and having experiences through digital media is becoming more common than having in-person relationships in digital media environment. This study, which was conducted when Fashion Week transitioned to a digital platform in 2020, focuses on fashion shows that are announced through social media. The purpose of the study is to explore how traditional fashion media change through social media and what their media characteristics are from the perspective of remediation, which has been suggested by Bolter and Grusin (1999) as the logic of change in the new media. The results of the case analysis in this study, based on the definition and logic of remediation outlined through a literature review, are that social media fashion shows are remediated from traditional fashion shows in the manner that they are represented, improved, refashioned, and absorbed. The characteristics of remediation expressed in social-media-based fashion shows were derived from repurposed video content, improved the elements of fashion shows to express the shows in various ways, expanded places within the fashion shows, and decontextualized and visually flattened spatial discontinuity, and from genre transitions and perceptual shifts. Social-media-based fashion shows are becoming a tool to renew the fashion experience and views of fashion and strengthen the authenticity of the brand by interacting with the audience, improving on the spatial limitations of traditional fashion shows, and diversifying fashion presentation methods.

  • Focus on Digital Fashion Image, the conceptual framework for the thesis is established from Virtuality in Digital Art. Formative characteristics and aesthetic characteristics were studied by classifying the Digital Fashion Image applied and expressed by digital media and technology. A detective research method was used for a case study. A literature study for case-by-case data was analyzed with focus on the works expressing fashion that utilized digital media and technology since the 2000s. Through this study, the Digital revolution has created the socio-cultural impact of a Virtual representation to implement technology and fashion culture that finds ways to take advantage of the image shown in a Digital Fashion Media by understanding Virtuality. The results are as follows. First, it was a re-formation of the fashion culture through the experience of virtuality with mental zone parameters between the media 'Mediation Code'. Reflect the reality of the virtual environment as represented by a cultural image of fashion brands and fashion that reset the team relationship and formed a Homo Ludens cultural code. Second, 'Interactive Exchange' acts on the exchange interaction between the method of digital technology, the human and the machine as well as the technical interoperability of network elements and techniques. This exchange is applied to fashion images that express emotion. Forming personalized fashion items and the user interactively storage that expresses the interactive exchange to forward the identity of the emotional fashion by a change in the message delivery system fashion. Third, the emphasis on intuitive artistic expression 'Synesthesia Immersion' induces a sense of immersion and excitement through the fusion of the interconnected. Enhance a visual image in fashion sensory representation and maximize a tactile and visual virtual reality involvement.

  • In this modern digital era, there are very vigorous arguments about digital and media aesthetics throughout culture and art on the basis of new transferring of recognition about the art-media's characteristics. Therefore, this paper tries to discover the art-media's characteristics and aesthetic value that are included in contemporary digital fashion through studying the fusion between digital and fashion. The purpose of this research is to offer positive and evolutive opportunity of artistic thinking to make the meeting between fashion and media suggest the future generation, adaptation and recognition in the media - developmental environment that will be deeper and more fueling. In the area of research method, this paper takes the method of theoretical research by referring national and foreign literatures and preceding research-papers, and carries out investigation and analysis about digital fashion for the last 10 years. The results of this study; The art-media's characteristics of modern digital fashion are virtuality, immateriality and characteristics of multimedia. The aesthetic values can be classified with four kinds of properties. First is hybridity initiated from multi-media that creates works; the second is infinite reproductivity initiated from the characteristics of the multi media and the digital carrier. Thirdly, there is also interactivity appeared all over the area of production, adaptation and perception caused by non-linearity and immateriality. Finally there is synesthesia that can extend the capability of sense through digital media.

패션 브랜드의 디지털 트랜스포메이션 전략에 관한 연구 - 버버리 사례를 중심으로 - (A study on the digital transformation strategy of a fashion brand - Focused on the Burberry case -)

  • Today, the fashion business environment of the 4.0 generation is changing based on fashion technology combined with advanced digital technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), big data and IoT (Internet of Things). "Digital Transformation" means a fundamental change and innovation in a digital paradigm including corporate strategy, organization, communication, and business model, based on the utilization of digital technology. Thus, this study examines digital transformation strategies through the fashion brand Burberry. The study contents are as follows. First, it examines the theoretical concept of digital transformation and its utilization status. Second, it analyzes the characteristics of Burberry's digital transformation based on its strategies. For the research methodology, a literature review was performed on books and papers, aligning with case studies through websites, social media, and news articles. The result showed that first, Burberry has reset their main target to Millennials who actively use mobile and social media, and continues to communicate with them by utilizing digital strategy in the entire management. Second, Burberry is quickly delivering consistent brand identity to consumers by internally creating and providing social media-friendly content. Third, they have started real-time product sales and services by using IT to enhance access to brands and to lead consumers towards more active participation. In this study, Burberry's case shows that digital transformation can contribute to increased brand value and sales, keeping up with the changes in the digital paradigm. Therefore, the study suggests that digital transformation will serve as an important business strategy for fashion brands in the future.

패션 디자이너 브랜드의 디지털 스토리텔링 유형과 특성 (Study on the Digital Storytelling Types and Characteristics of Fashion Designer Brands)

  • The purpose of this research is to systemize the fashion digital storytelling by analyzing the communication method and its elements, and extracting the characteristics and processes of digital storytelling. Based on the previous study on the characteristics and types of storytelling the following things have been researched: 1) the process of digital storytelling in the communication process, 2) the concept and the feature of the academia of digital storytelling 3) storytelling in the document research. On the groundwork of the document research, we were able to sort out the various types, and formed a system of the features in the fashion digital storytelling cases, mainly in the four collections (Milan, Paris, London, New York) from 2000's to recent years of 2010. The types of fashion digital storytelling are episode type, narrative type, and creative type. The characteristics of each of the types are as follows. Firstly, the episode type communicates through the digital media based on the information or fact of the fashion designer brand. Secondly, narrative type communicates with the consumers using previous literature or an existing idea of the original cultural form that is rearranged in digital story expressed by the digital media. Lastly, creative type makes the designer's and consumer's susceptibility and creativity communicate through the newly made story, which expresses the unique originality of the designer. It seems that the cases and studies of using the fashion digital storytelling will increase because of its short history and lack of the case study. Fashion designer brands will show their brand image using the digital storytelling because they are able to better express originality, creativity and imagination of the fashion designer, which were factors that could not be conveyed through fashion alone.

A Study on the Digitalization of the Fashion Industry

  • The digitalization of the fashion industry refers to 'the reception of the digital environment by the industry.'Re paper presented 3 conceptual categories of 'technological environment','information environment'and 'business environment'concerning the scope of digitalization, including from the introduction and use of new technical media to new ways of thinking following the paradigm changes. And it demonstratively analyzed digitalization factors and digitalization level of fashion businesses related to the factors by 7 fashion categories. The analytic result and its suggestions are as follows. First, the five digitalization factor of the fashion industry are defined : manufacturing Process automation, computer systemization, information networking, e-business, and small batch production. Second the digitalization degree of fashion firms decreases in the order of information networking, small batch Production, manufacturing Process automation, computer systemization, and e-business, with information networking on the top and e-business, recent focal point of interest, at the bottom. Third, as for the digitalization of each clothing category, men's formal dress and unisex display the highest level of the general digitalization.

  • The expansion of media art has not only developed the digital technology but also given lots of environmental evolution to improve various fields of design as the main topic of the 21st century. The purpose of this study is aimed at proposing the new design that integrates fashion accessaries with media art technology. This will be done by understanding the social environment in digital ages and studying technology of design based on a variety of literature about changes in our society, neo value, vision, culture and art with fundamental notion of media art. First stage for this study, put an idea into just fashion accessary design because it is not sufficient to incoporate fashion and media art technology. The presented OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diodes) in this study is a kind of display to be in a limelight in the next generation and can be applied to various field of design. media art simultaneously moved into the scope of artistic debates. As a result, we can found that the use of audiovisual introduced numerous new aspects to the conceptual and aesthetic engagement with questions of conception. Today, the presented forms of art and inter-action from the closed -circuit work to interactive media art installations to open process-exist as parallel possibilities.

  • The digital environment, which has been rapidly developing since the beginning of the 21st century, has become more specific due to COVID-19, and marketing strategies are rapidly changing to suit purchasing activities of Generation MZ, whose online purchases are becoming the center of their lives. A public relations agency is generally responsible for all aspects of making a client's product or service visible to the public through various forms of media. Among them, a company that performs only fashion-related tasks is called a "fashion PR agency". Now, the fashion industry is also centered on the e-commerce environment, and various digital marketing strategies have been developed and directly related to sales. This study examined the current status of online media and digital marketing, analyzes the aspects of fashion brand promotion strategies and methods in the e-commerce era, focusing on the work of fashion PR agencies, and suggests the direction of new online and offline promotion methods based on marketing and technological aspects. As a result of the study, first, theories on strategies for online media and digital marketing were examined, and found that the amount of online promotion has recently increased and become more specialized. Second, this study examines the concept of fashion PR agencies and analyzed their main tasks through interviews with fashion PR professionals. Third, based on successful online fashion promotion cases, the study analyzed fashion promotion strategies and methods that are being integrated online and offline in the e-commerce era. The main methods included SNS strategy, content strategy, performance strategy, influencer strategy, and event strategy, and it is suggested that integrated management is necessary for consistent brand image management, and an IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) strategy, which intensively manages all strategies, should be employed.

디지털 환경에 따른 패션분야의 디자인 교육방향 연구 I (A Study for an Educational Direction in Fashion Design Subjected to Digital Environment I)

  • 다음시즌을 예측하는 트렌드와 유행 경향은 이미 오래 전부터 디지털 환경과 사이버 환경을 패션의 요소로 지적해왔으며 패션분야의 디지털 환경뿐 아니라 패션에서 접하게 되는 모든 디지털환경은 미래패션의 존재 상황임과 동시에 패션의 감각으로 추구해야 할 대상이며 요소가 된다. 한편 디지털 환경과 관련한 첨단기술, 사회의 변화는 미래사회를 위한 교육현장에서 교욱 방법뿐 아니라 교육의 내용까지도 변화할 것을 요구하고 있으며, 새로운 패러다임이 요구되는 디지털 환경속에서 미래사회를 대비한 패션디자인 교육의 방향은 모색되어야만 한다. 이러한 배경하에서 본 연구는 디지털 환경 확산에 영향 받는 패션분야의 환경변화를 패션디자인교육의 환경 차원에서 연구하고자 하며 이를 토대로 미래사회에서 패션의 중추인력으로 활동하게 될 미래패션디자인의 전문가를 위한 교육방향에 대한 제안을 하고자 한다. 미래사회를 위한 패션분야의 디자인전문가 교육은 디지털 환경이 주축을 이루는 미래사회를 이해하고 받아들일 수 있는 디지털마인드를 포함한 차원에서 이루어져야 하는 것이 중요하다. 이를 위해서는 CAD 프로그램을 비롯한 컴퓨터, 디지털 매체에 대한 경험이 필수적이고, 디지털매체에 대한 교육은 매체사용기능 훈련만을 위한 측면 보다는 패션분야의 교육과 연계되어 경험되는 CAI 측면으로 이루어지는 것이 시간적 효율성과 전문분야의 응용력을 높인다는 점에서 중요하다 하겠다. 21세기 미래사회는 지식의 창의력이 가치 창출의 원천이 되고 국가 경쟁력의 원동력이 되는 사회 패션분야의 디자인 전문가를 위한 교육은 미래사회으 ㅣ환경적 특징을 긍정적 방향으로 수용하며 미래를 대비한 교육에 심도 깊게 반영되어 이루어져야 할 것이다.있었다.하였다. 본 연구는 흰쥐 유선에서 LH subunit들과 수용체 유전자가 발현됨을 최초로 보고한 것으로서, 흰쥐 유선이 LH의 생성처이면서 동시에 작용처이며 유선에서 합성된 GnRH의 조절하에 국부적인 인자로 작용할 가능성을 시사한다.f variation)가 10% 내외로 만족할 만한 범위에 들었다. 본 실험 방법을 타액과 혈청내 testosterone 농도 측정에 응용하여 RIA의 결과와 비교하여 본 바 상관관계가 타액에서 r=0.969, 혈청에서 r=0.990으로 두 결과가 잘 일치하였다. 본 실험에서 측정된 한국인 여성의 타액내 testosterone농도는 107.7$\pm$12.0 pmol/l이었고, 남성의 타액내 농도는 274.2$\pm$22.1 pmol/l이었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 연구에서 정립된 EIA 방법은 RIA를 대신하여 소규모의 실험실에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사려된다.또한 상실기 이후 배아에서 합성되며, 발생시기에 따라 그 영향이 다르고 팽창과 부화에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. 더욱이, 조선의 ${\ulcorner}$구성교육${\lrcorner}$이 조선총독부의 관리하에서 실행되었다는 것을, 당시의 사범학교를 중심으로 한 교육조직을 기술한 문헌에 의해 규명시켰다.nd of letter design which represents -natural objects and was popular at the time of Yukjo Dynasty, and there are some documents of that period left both in Japan and Korea.
