The purpose of this study is to find out the features of the Korean family change since 2,000 and to interpret the meaning of the change on the basis of the critical review of both the positive perspective and the negative perspective of the family change in Korea. Through the method of the literature review and the analysis of the various statistics by KOSTAT, it is drawn that explaining the change only by "diversity of family compositions" is not enough to figure out the meaning of the family change in Korea today and that it is needed to go further to approach the change as disintegration of the 'nuclear' composed of the married couple and their children. It is also drawn that the disintegration has led to weakening of the long term functions by the family, i. e., the function of life and of the virtues, which shakes the way of human life and the order of our society. Therefore, the present family change in Korea is to be understood as crisis, not as progress. And it is recommended that the family politics in Korea is to be focused on the ways for the healthy functioning and rebuilding the nuclear of the family.

In this paper, we study normality concerning two families of meromorphic functions. In particular, we investigate the sharing conditions under which normality of one family implies the normality of other. Results obtained in this paper extend some earlier works of several authors.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship between the related variables of children's internalization and externalization of problems. A total of 709 elementary school students residing in Daegu City and Kyungpook province completed questionnaires which assessed family interaction functions, emotional regulation, self-control, and internalization and externalization of problems. The sample variance-covariance matrix was analyzed using AMOS 19.0, and a maximum likelihood minimization function. Goodness of fit was evaluated using the SRMS, RMSEA, and its 90% confidence interval, CFI, and TLI. The results were as follows : First, the function of family interaction, and emotional regulation had a significant direct effect on the internalization of problems. Moreover, emotional regulation, self-control and internalization of problems had a statistically substantial direct effect on the externalization of problems. Second, family interaction functions did not have a statistically significant direct on children's externalization of problems, although it may well have an indirect effect on children's externalization of problems through emotional regulation and self-control. Finally, self-control did not enjoy a direct effect on children's internalization of problems.

This study examines family life problems & solution of married women in Chonbuk area as a part of study on family life Issues. Data were collected by questionnaires. The sample consisted of 1142 married women. The major findings were summarized as follows : (1) The degree of recognition about family life problem is rated economic life > woman's parents-in-law> woman's real parents> spouse> children related problems. (2) In the family conflict solution types, the most used types is a rational. (3) The degree of recognition about the family violence is rated abusive languages of husband>husband behavior under the influence of alcohol wife's child abuse>husband's child abuse>abusive languages of wife>battered wife. (4) The kins are still considered the primary source for functions of personal support. Also, the needs for the children related equipments is higest among the public support equipments.

The combined impact of maternal depression, parenting stress, infant cry, and infant temperament on family functions was examined. The sample included 257 mothers in the near communities. Questionnaires completed by the mothers who had 0-36 month old children were used to measure depressive symptoms in mothers, infant cry, infant temperament, parenting stress, and family function. Maternal depression, parenting stress, infant crying and infant temperament had negative influence on family adaptability and family cohesion. Mother's depression had negative effect particularly on infant cry. Infant cry had positive effect on infant temperament. Infant temperament had high direct effect on parenting stress. As a result, it had negative influence on family function.

Purpose: We interviewed 500 students attending to universities in Gwangju and Jeonnam using a questionnaire. The questionnaire was composed of some questions on general characteristics of the subjects, academic characteristics, health-related behaviors, family function, and drinking problems. Methods: The data collected were analysed with uses of t-test, dispersion analysis, correlations analysis and multi-variate regression analysis. Results: As a result of the simple analysis we found that variables related to drinking problems of college students were religion, family, residence, parents' job, living standard, major, academic year, exercise, parents' drinking, parents' attitude to drinking, drinking quantity, intimacy, conflicts, and upbringing tendency. As a result of the multi-variate regression analysis, we found that the higher intimacy between family members, deterioration in behaviors, family and personal relations, and social functions was statistically significantly low. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that drinking problems of college students had significant relations with intimacy, conflicts and upbringing tendency and suggests that an approach in an aspect of family functions is important to overcome drinking problems of college students.

본 연구는 청소년의 자아정체성, 가족기능이 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 한국청소년정책연구원에서 청소년과 부모세대(학부모)의 의식 및 가치관을 조사한 가족의식에 관한 패널을 사용하였고, 연구대상은 청소년 6,979명이다. 본 연구의 자료는 SPSS프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석을 하였고, AMOS를 사용하여 요인분석, 경로분석을 하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족기능의 하위변인(가족응집성, 가족적응성)과 매개변인인 자아정체성 그리고 학교생활적응의 하위변인(교사적응, 친구적응, 공부몰입)은 서로 유의미한 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 청소년의 가족기능은 자아정체성을 매개로 학교생활적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 가족기능은 학교생활적응에 자아정체감을 매개하지 않고도 직접적인 영향을 주고 있었다. 이 연구를 통하여 학교생활에서의 적응을 높이기 위해서는 이에 영향을 미치는 가족 간의 기능을 원활히 하고 청소년 개인의 자아정체감 확립이라는 발달적 과업을 이루게 하는 것이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

This thesis presents a design and partial implementation of a program family of extended pretty printers. Factors that influence the readability (perception) and understand ability (cognition) of computer programs are indentified, previous work is reviewed, and new solutions are suggested. Extensions to the previous pretty printer designs include a capability to selectively display levels of control of a program. In order to accommodate different computer languages and to allow for, several secondary functions, a family of pretty printers is designed. This design facilitates easy extension, contraction and modification.

This study analyses various articles on famology presented in home journals 1980. The articles show rapid growth in quantity and variety of subjects and also show high quality of research analysis methods. However only 13.5% of the articles contribute to social problems. This study claims that various arguments and analyses should be made concerning the prospect of Korean families and the family functions. Educational programs must be made for healthy families and solving family problems and of counseling and therapy. And scholars should take a role in central or local government committees to shape policies for family welfare. They should also go into the local societies for practicing their studies.
