The results indicated that high school students rather than middle school students and girls rather than boys had higher concerns about obesity and diet behaviors. For the socio-economic variables, being female, a high school student, and a group with the least monthly allowance was higher concern about obesity and diet; and household income, educational level and occupation of the fathers also had significant impacts on the student concerns about obesity and diet behaviors. The variables of height, weight, PIBW (Percentage of Ideal Body Weight), and BMI (Body Mass Index) had significant impacts on the concerns about obesity and diet behaviors. Especially, students with normal weight had the highest concerns about obesity and diet, while obese students had the lowest concerns. (J Community Nutrition 7(4): $184\∼192$, 2005)

  • This study examined the insolvency likelihood of young debtors from the 2018 Household Financial and Welfare Survey. This study used the Household Default Risk Index (HDRI), which considers the ratio of total debt to total assets (DTA), and a total debt service ratio (DSR) to examine the insolvency level of debtors. The descriptive analyses showed no difference in frequency of households with a high probability of insolvency between those less than 35 years of age and those over 35 years of age. However, the median HDRI value for those less than 35 years of age was higher than those over 35 years of age. The multivariate analyses indicated that educational expenses for young Korean debtors was a factor that increased their probability of insolvency, while income was the only variable that decreased their insolvency likelihood.

Third, which variables among the university experiences for job searching and application impacts the job quality and income level of the natural sciences and engineering graduates? To find out the research results, this study conducts a panel data analysis with GOMS (Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey) throughout survey year of 2006 to 2015, towards 568,264 as weighted value number. As analysis methods, this study carries out a descriptive analysis, ANOVA, discriminant analysis, linear regression and T-test. Therefore, here are the brief outputs of the study; first, for natural sciences and engineering students, the off-campus experiences such as job fair, job recruit festival and internship programs are more favored; second, female students are more likely to attend personal and self-driven job preparation programs; third, on job market performance, the graduates' income level and company scale rate are higher in the male but job stability is higher in the female; fourth, as a result of the linear regression, gender factor decides the income level in considerable degree; additionally, gender factor shows the difference of the job satisfaction and self-effectiveness on one's job as a qualitative variables. • The purpose of this paper is to estimate the ratio of under-reported business income and related tax to that which is actually reported. The business income and tax are vulnerable to being under-reported. Information about the business income and thus income tax is private information. Without information costs, the tax agency cannot collect all the information about the business income and income tax. In Korea there are more than 600,000 proprietors. Therefore, the costs to investigate the accuracy of the taxpayes' reports are substantial. The tax agency sets a level over which proprietors should report income ratio to total sales, which induces the under-report. To estimate the ratio of under-reported tax, the expenditure method is employed. By this method, the under-reported income can be easily presumed based on expenditures since expenditures are closely related to income. First, the consumption function is estimated by using cross-section data of 1986-89. Generally, the estimation results show the expected sign of the coefficients of the explanatory variables such as income, wealth, and family size. Second, the extent of under-reported business income and related tax is estimated by using the estimation results. The estimated ratios of under-reported tax and income to the actual tax and income fall in the range of 13~39% and 8~25% respectively. This estimation confirms the increasing tendency of the tax detection ratio in previous studies. However, it should be noted that this study is not based on data of the tax report but those of the urban household survey. Therefore, there still remains the possibility that the ratio of under-reported tax could be underestimated.

Among subsystems of household work such as task assignment , test regularization, task arrangement and task standardization. subjects show the highest positive attitude in task standardization. 2) The characteristics of management in household work have task centered orientation. Related style is significantly related with marriage duration, education level and income level. Homemakers who have a long marriage duration exhibit high scores in task assignment and who have high education and income level exhibit high scores in task regularization. Seperates style is significantly related with homemaker's age m marriage duration an family life cycle. homemakers who ar older, have a long marriage duration and are of late stage in family life cycle exhibit seperated style and high scores in organization. To summarize research findings, household work manger and household work organization are related with family life experiences, and task assignment is an influential variable on manager style. in conclusion, it is evident that household work organization emphasizes efficiency as cognitive component and such organization. Finally it is necessary to broaden this research considered social psychological variables. And also it needs to build household manger style models appropriate fro the characteristics of each style.

  • This study investigated how the characteristics of female international marriage immigrants, their husbands, their children, and their families affected their parenting self-efficacy, using a sample of 187 female international marriage immigrants, from China, the Philippines, or Vietnam, now living in Pusan and Gyungnam, Korea. We used questionnaires were based on the studies by Choe & Chung (2001), Shin (1997), Lee (1996), and Lee & Song (1991), and with the addition of demographic characteristics. Analysis results showed that the mother's parenting self-efficacy subscales correlated positively with mother's educational level, social support, and Korean language level; husband's educational level; and family income, and negatively with mother's depression, husband's age, and mother's acculturative stress. Multiple regressions indicated that husband's support was the strongest predictor of female international marriage immigrants' parenting self-efficacy.
