The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of having a usual source of care (USC) for the elderly. Methods: This study used the Korea Health Panel Survey data of 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2018. The sample was the person who answered the USC questions among the elderly. The panel logit model was used to analyze the determinants of having USC and the panel simultaneous equation model was used to analyze the effect of having USC among the elderly on the medical expenses, medical utilization, and subjective health status. Results: The estimation result shows that age, income, marriage, and so forth turn out to be the factors of having USC. Having the clinic level USC is estimated to reduce the health care utilization and the health expenditure and to improve the subjective health status. Conclusion: It is expected that the result of our analysis will provide evidence for encouraging having USC.

Result: The mean score of career identity was 31.90 points and clinical competency was 145.13. Career identity showed a significant difference in the age, satisfaction of college entrance and satisfaction of clinical practice. Clinical competency showed a significant difference in the sex, marriage, satisfaction of college entrance and satisfaction of clinical practice. The data showed a negative correlation between career identity and clinical competency. • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to grasp association with dental hygienists' job expectation through correlation between curricular subjects for the department of dental hygiene and job. Methods : It carried out convenience sampling of dental hospitals where are located in Capital Area, and then conducted a self-administered questionnaire survey targeting 274 dental hygienists who are working here. The statistical program was analyzed by using PSAW 18.0. Results : Research subjects' 60.2% experienced turnover. Its reason accounted for 31.7% with the working condition. As a result of examining difference in experience of turnover according to dental hygienists' individual characteristic and working form, the significant difference was shown in age, marriage, annual salary, working institution, and career. In consequence of confirming association between curricular subjects and job, the majority showed high correlation. However, the correlation with oral physiology, clinical dental hygiene, and dental clinics showed low correlation as the insignificant variable. Conclusions : As a result of this study, the high correlation between curricular subjects and job can be considered to reflect dental hygienists' job expectation. On the other hand, the working condition, professional sense, and turnover experience, which are factors related to dental hygienists' job expectation, were indicated to fail to meet job expectation.

Method: First, we analyze the overall characteristics of domestic share house. And it does a spatial analysis of domestic share house. Especially, it analyzes the relationship between private space and public space. Finally, the plan characteristics are derived based on the analysis results. Result: The results are as follows. First, the type of share house is classified according to the combination of the arrangement of private space and the public space. Second, the larger the scale, the more vertical arrangement than horizontal arrangement. Finally, the character of the share house changes according to the characteristics of the resident.

  • Recently, the increase of single households are remarkable in Korean society due to various social and economic reasons such as aging and changes in values, and it is expected to bring many changes to social and economic structures and residential spaces. Increase of single households is a result of complex economic, cultural and social factors. It is because as the individual's financial independence increases due to elevated income and education level, the age of marriage is going up and the individualism, which values the individual's value rather than custom, is spreading. It is expected to accelerate further in connection with the changes in structure of population, such as a low birth rate and aging. As the number of single households is increasing, the development and marketing for single household products are actively growing. With the increase in consumption demand and need of growing single households, the multi-functional system furniture that can be efficiently and conveniently used in small spaces are needed, but the furniture manufactured in Korean companies are designed for regular housing and is not suitable for single households. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop multi-functional system furniture can be freely used in the housing structure of single household and small spaces.

  • The total population of Korea in 1975 was 35,281,000 and population density was $357/km^2$, which is one of the highest rate of the countries in the world. In the early part of 1960's, prior to the initiation of national family planning program in 1962, the natural population increase rate in Korea was almost 3.0%. However, due to the positive support and activity of the national family planning program, the population growth rate has been dropped right below 2.0% in 1970, and decreased to 1.7% in 1975. The average number of children per woman was 5.8 in 1961 and has decreased steadily to 3.5 in 1975. However, traditional value like the 'boy-preference' concept may bring many difficulties of lowering the fertility rate, decreasing number of children less than three in the future. Rising marriage age which had much contributed to decrease the population growth showed preferably falling trends since 1970. There is a prospect that total number of birth will be continuously increased while the fertility rate may be fallen since the age group born during 'baby-boom' soon after the Korean war are becoming the reproductive age group at present time. Considering the above mentioned factors, family planning program should be much improved and strengthened and the government support is much required in order to meet the above mentioned objectives which maintain appropriate level of the population growth.
