To provide a better educational environment for education, sufficient research in the educational facilities should be carried out. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to establish a direction in research field of educational facilities. To achieve this aim, the purpose of education and the purpose of educational facilities for its sufficiency is established, and through the investigation on the composition realm of educational facilities, the direction of related study field and realm of study is shown. The results are shown as table 12 and table 13, of which the research direction is concerned with table 12, and the model of method is concerned with table 13.

The present study has been conducted to accomplish the investment and analysis, to make the construction manuals, to draw the standards, and to build quality and standards informations of the plumbing/drainage facilities materials. The application plan and the anticipation effect of this results include as follows. (1) The investment and analysis of the plumbing/drainage facilities materials is able to suggest the technology trends and the trends analysis in the construction materials. (2) The quality and standards informations of the plumbing/drainage facilities materials are possible to be the construction faculty and the cost/energy reduction in the construction materials. (3) The standards methods of the plumbing/drainage facilities materials are useful for the reliability guarantee and quality escalation in the construction materials. (4) The standard manuals of the plumbing/drainage facilities materials are applied to the specifications in the construction materials.

Our country already came into the aging society in 2000, and it will reach the ultimate aging society in 2026. Also it is necessary the architectural proposal to serve the aging society problem. Recently days, it is increased that the aged welfare facilities, and the concern of aged welfare facilities. This study, approaching the charged aged man welfare facilities suggested as an alternative about the increase of aged man and the aged man problem in architectural and environmental aspect, investigated about the overall environment from the establishment of the charged welfare facilities to indoor space on the basis of the satisfaction degree and requiring condition of users through the estimation after residing. Thus this study is purposed to insist importance about analysis the aged welfare facilities and dwelling conscious.

The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze characteristics of using pattern on the physical facilities and fundamental demands about improving factors associated with management of variation type. The teachers of four middle schools are participated through questionnaires with this survey. According to the results, supplemental factors of learning activities, convenient facilities for students, factors with space utilization, moving class and arrangement of similar subject blocks are influential in order on the awareness of teachers for correspondence of variation type. In the analysis of variance based on the sampling factors, significant differences were shown in the factors of attached group, gender, age and managemental experience of variation type. Especially, the factors with moving class and convenient facilities for students are analytically more differential than the other factors, therefore, these factors must be considered in detail.

As the exiting school facilities become old and unfit for new curriculum, the systematical remodelling process based on its educational and physical functions is required. due to the inadequate maintenance and repairing practices, unnecessary costs are expended. Therefore, this study aims to establish a remodelling decision-making model for improving the educational environment of the existing school facilities. According to the budget system, it proposes the concept of remodelling that includes the activities of extension, reconstruction, repair and improvement. This study classifies the performance evaluation for school facilities as that of safety, durability and educational function, and articulates the assessment standards, methods and elements. In the end, it suggests a rational model for remodelling decision-making that can provide efficient and comprehensive remodelling process, economic and sustainable school development.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for planning of school foodservice facilities to operate with hygiene and efficiency corresponding a decrease of the number of students. This study analyzes the composition of space for foodservice facilities categorizing by the functions which are preparation area, cooking area, cleaning area, storage, and worker's room on elementary, middle and high school in Seoul Metropolitan city since 2009 that the Seoul School Health Promotion Center published a manual for school foodservice facilities. The calculation can be a basis for school planners and the general schools to use available area in each school and can manage the school usage plan appropriately. The number of students in each school has been regarded as the space planning element, but the number of students would considered with using the specific area and time.

In this stydy, the characteristics of the spatial location based on rural environment pollution facilities which can cause environmental pollution and thus lower the value of rural amenity was analyzed. This study showed that livestock feedlot occupied the highest percentage among the facilities analyzed and the size of facilities increased with increasing distance from the residential area. In addition, the facilities showed two typical characteristics in terms of their spatial distribution; uneven and even distribution which are characterized by concentrated distribution in a certain area and by scattered distribution in a wide area, respectively. As the facilities including livestock feedlot have a great potential to cause environmental problem such as air, water, soil and noise pollution, it is necessary to develop systematic plans for the management and improvement of the facilities.

The main theme of this paper is to evaluate the relevance of Educational Facilities in terms of university change in near future. The paper reviewed the changing process of higher education and its role in Korean society briefly, proposed the developmental directions of higher education in future in several perspectives, and introduced educational reform plan in the field of higher education proposed on May 30, 1995 by advisory group to the president. In this context, the irrelevance of university and college education facilities was pointed out, and proposed some new and modernizing guide lines of educational facilities such as flexibility, openness, corelationships and consortium among related institutes, optimization of related laws and rules, exemption from the direct ruling and control of government. This paper also suggested some ideas of facilitating educational facilities in accordance with the future change trends of university and college education.

The Design manual for adjusting the capacity and LOS of facilities has been shared in urban railways and high-speed railway stations. However, the pattern of urban railways users and those of high-speed railway users are different from each other. For an example, the high-speed railway users tend to carry voluminous luggages and the transportation disadvantaged such as children and the elderlies. Accordingly, we see that the scale of facilities and the station itself should be constructed differently. The transfer facilities in the high-speed railway stations are classified widely into walking assisting facilities and convenient facilities. We invented the concept of PME(Pedestrian Moving Equivalent) and PWE(Pedestrian Waiting Equivalent)for the spatial calculation of those who are with wheeled luggages, back packs, and children to reflect the uniqueness of users in high-speed railway stations. These equivalents have been applied to the design of the facilities to asses the new Capacity and LOS that are users' favored.

To realize the mass customization entails the optimized supply chain design for efficiently producing and delivering the various products. In this study, we considered the problem obtaining the optimized production policy under the situation wherein the multiple products are apportioned into multiple parallel production facilities. More specifically, the production set-up costs incurs according to whether the production facilities are utilized or not. The facility-dependent set-up costs increase the problem complexity in solving the production apportioning problem for multiple products. This problem can be formulated as concave minimization problem, which is known as NP-hard problem. In this paper, a heuristic algorithm is proposed to solve two conjoint problems : one is to select the cost-effective facilities from alternative multiple production facilities and the other is to apportion the production lot to those selected facilities.
