근거기반실무(Evidence-based Practice) 자기효능감, 교과목 요구도, 장애요인 및 촉진요인 탐색을 위한 혼합연구: 교수 및 임상실습 프리셉터를 중심으로 (Mixed Method Research Investigating Evidence-Based Practice Self-efficacy, Course Needs, Barriers, and Facilitators: From the Academic Faculty and Clinical Nurse Preceptors)

  • Purpose: The current challenges faced by nurses in providing high quality and evidence-based practice (EBP) supported care require profound changes in nursing education. To understand the changes needed to strengthen EBP education, the researchers examined EBP self-efficacy, course needs, barriers, and facilitators for academic faculty and clinical nurse preceptors to teach EBP in undergraduate nursing curricula. Methods: For this study, mixed-method approach was used with survey data collected from 73 academic faculty members from 54 universities. Further, 17 clinical nurse preceptors in three academic hospitals provided qualitative data for exploration of barriers and facilitators to teaching EBP. Data analysis used SPSS/WIN 21.0 and content analysis. Results: Quantitative data showed that although the overall level of self-efficacy among faculty was moderate, the implementation levels were relatively low. Most faculty members agreed with the need to integrate EBP courses into undergraduate nursing curricula. The qualitative data showed that the barriers to teaching EBP were lack of knowledge, skill, and initial investment for teaching EBP; hierarchical, rules-oriented nursing culture; potential learner overloads in processing EBP; limited research dissemination and application. Facilitators were identified as the importance of EBP to the profession of nursing; collaboration in schools and hospitals; and continuing education in teaching/utilizing EBP. Conclusion: The findings indicate that for successful integration of EBP ni nursing education there is a need for faculty training and integrated EBP courses.

국내 의료기관 정보시스템 아웃소싱의 촉진 및 저해 요인에 관한 실증 연구 (An Empirical Study on Facilitators and Inhibitors of the Information Systems Outsourcing in Korean Hospital)

  • 본 연구의 목표는 국내 병원들을 대상으로 정보시스템의 아웃소싱을 촉진하거나 저해하는 주요 조직 요인을 결정하고, 아웃소싱의 도입기관과 비도입기관, 아웃소싱을 성공적으로 운영하고 있는 기관과 그렇지 못한 기관들간의 차이를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 먼저, 선행 연구로부터 잠재적인 촉진요인 및 저해요인들의 포괄적인 목록을 도출하고, 수도권 지역의 135개 병원급 의료기관들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 병원의 정보시스템 아웃소싱을 촉진하는 가장 중요한 요인으로 조직적 요인, 재정적 요인, 전략적 요인이, 병원의 정보시스템 아웃소싱을 저해하는 가장 중요한 요인으로는 조직적 요인, 심리적 요인, 공급자 요인, 환경적 요인 등이 식별되었다. 아웃소싱의 도입기관과 비도입간에는 촉진요인 중 조직적 요인과 저해요인 중 환경적 요인이, 성공 기관과 비성공 기관 간에는 전략적 요인에 유의한 차이가 확인되었다.

노인의 사회참여에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 체계적 고찰 : 질적연구 중심 (Facilitators and Barriers of Social Participation of Older Adults: Systematic Review of Qualitative Studies)

  • 본 연구는 노인의 사회참여에 어떠한 영향요인이 작용하고 있는지를 밝히기 위해 촉진 및 저해 요인들에 대한 질적연구를 중심으로 체계적 고찰을 하고자 하였다. 데이터베이스인 PubMed, Embase, Cochrane을 사용하여 2012년 2월부터 2022년 2월까지의 논문을 검색하였다. 사용된 주요 검색 용어로'elderly', 'older adults', social participation', 'engagement', 'motiv*', 'barrier', 'facilitat*'가 사용하였다. 최종적으로 선별된 7개의 논문에서 노인의 사회참여 촉진 요인과 저해 요인은 개인적, 내적 요인, 환경적 요인, 사회 네트워크 요인으로 분류하여 제시하였다. 촉진 요인에는 소속되고자 하는 욕구, 사회에 환원하고자 하는 마음, 흥미, 특정한 사람과의 교류 등이 있었다. 저해 요인은 환경적 접근성, 흥미 없는 활동, 두려움, 사회적 관계 유지를 위한 능력 부족, 경제적 어려움 등이 있었다. 촉진 또는 저해 요소로는 사회경제적 지위, 사회기반시설 접근성 여부, 주위에 지지자 유무, 종교와 민족성 등이 있었다. 고령화의 진행으로 사회적 고립에 취약해진 노인들의 인구들도 늘고 있다. 본 연구는 이를 방지하기 위해 노인들의 사회참여를 촉진 또는 저해하는 요인들을 통합적으로 파악했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

규칙적 유방자가검진 이행 증진 프로그램 개발을 위한 조사연구 (A Descriptive Study for Developing a Program to Promote Compliance with Regular Breast Self-Examination(BSE))

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify knowledge, facilitators, and barriers of breast self-examination(BSE) in Korean couples for developing a continuous regular BSE promotion program. Method: This descriptive study was undertaken with a focus group methodology including 27 couples of husbands and wives recruited by convenience-sampling. Data transcribed from audiotapes was analyzed to identify common themes. Results: Knowledge of breast cancer and BSE included 'the risk factors of breast cancer', 'prevention of breast cancer', and 'how to do BSE'. Facilitators to BSE included 'self, health professional, and spouse-facilitating factors'. Barriers to BSE included 'cognitive, psychological, informational, and physical barriers'. Conclusion: To promote compliance with BSE among women, tailored programs according to the stage of change of BSE adoption are crucial, not only reflecting the specific needs of the individual by the stage of change, but also utilizing husbands as facilitators.

시뮬레이션 간호 교육에서의 '촉진자(facilitator)' 개념분석 (A Concept Analysis of 'Facilitator' in Simulation Nursing Education)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify and define the concept of a facilitator and specific attributes for providing basic data on simulation nursing education. Methods: Using Walker and Avant's (2005) criteria that identify the attributes, antecedents, and consequences of facilitators in simulation nursing education, the findings of research articles published from 2001 to 2017 were reviewed. Results: There were three aspects of the facilitator concept in simulation nursing education: (1) continuous support throughout the entire simulation process; (2) skilled progress based on clinical expertise; (3) guidance for learners to actively understand and reflect on the situation. Conclusion: This concept analysis helps us to better understand better facilitators in simulation nursing education.

결혼 이민자 여성의 자녀 출산 의향에 관한 사례 연구 (The Case Study on Marriage Immigrant Women' Child Birth Intention)

  • In that marriage immigrant women' birth rate are higher than those of Korea women, they were selected to suggest pronatalism in Korea. The purpose of this study is to explore the child birth intention of marriage immigrant women. One of qualitative study, case study was used in methodology. Participants were 10 marriage immigrant women, depth interview were conducted. The major results were categorized facilitators and inhibitors. Facilitators were 'number of origin family members', 'absence or weakness of family planning', 'successful experience of the first child birth', 'no difficulty in childbearing', 'recommendation of mother-in-law', 'child' positive effect in Korea life adjustment'. Inhibitors were 'insufficient economic condition', 'husband' old age and the opposite of mother-in-law', 'dissatisfaction with marriage life', 'lack of government' support'. Based on this results, practical implications and interventions were suggested.

  • This is to constitute strategic system and strategies for building family-friendly cultural change in workplace. For purpose, the reason and agent for change, the models and stages of change, the strategies for change process, and the barriers and facilitators of change are discussed. The strategic system is divided into two parts: planning and implementing. Planning includes need & resource assessment, and research & project office. Implementing includes program implementation, monitoring & feedback, communication, and barriers & facilitators. This study from literature review can be used preliminary test to the cultural change process of workplace.

델파이 기법을 활용한 전자상거래 촉진요인 분석: 우즈베키스탄의 사례 (Using the Delphi Approach to Identify e-Commerce Facilitators: The Case of Uzbekistan)

  • 우즈베키스탄과 같은 개발 도상국에서 전자상거래란 비교적 새롭고 경제 발전에 기여할 수 있는 산업이다. 이러한 관점에서 개발도상국에 적합한 전자상거래 촉진 요인을 연구하여 그 함축적 의미를 제공할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 전자상거래 촉진요인을 파악하는데 텔파이 기법을 적용하였다. 전자상거래 관련 전문가 패널을 구성하여 4차례의 조사를 통해 전자상거래를 촉진하는 24개 변수를 식별하였다. 이들 24개 변수는 기술 인프라, 법률 환경과 지원, 산업 환경, 조직, 경제와 정치적 환경이라는 5개의 촉진요인으로 분류되었다. 기술 인프라, 법률 환경과 지원, 산업 환경, 조직 요인은 경제와 정치적 요인보다 중요한 것으로 파악되었다. 본 연구는 개발도상국에서 전자상거래를 촉진하기 위해 필요한 함축적 의미를 정부기관, 연구자, 기업의 실무자 관점에서 제안하였다.

교원의 퍼실리테이터 수행지원 강화를 위한 연수 프로그램 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Training Program to Reinforce the Teachers' Performance as Facilitators)

  • This research aims at developing a teachers' training program to reinforce teachers' capability to perform the action learning program. To accomplish this goal, the key value of the training program based on action learning, the process of the core learning activities, and the elements to support learners and facilitators respectively were deducted on the foundation of documentary research and case study, based on which, the program was developed through the formative test by professionals and application to the field. This research was applied to 105 middle or high school teachers, the participants of the in-service training on creative problem solving hosted by B metropolitan city for one week (30 hours) from 9 a.m. on Monday, January 25th, 2010 to 4 p.m. on Friday, January 29th. The result of this research is as follows. First, as for the key values of this study, (1) the team-based learning centered on the trainees, not lecturers-oriented, knowledge-transmitting training, is possible, (2)for each process, guidelines, related information, tools, and various kinds of media are supported just in time, and (3)a focus is given on fostering facilitators centered on teachers. Second, the process of the core learning activities of the teachers' training program based on action learning consists of the procedure of a prior lecture${\rightarrow}$break${\rightarrow}$investigation into problems${\rightarrow}$clarification of problems${\rightarrow}$drawing possible solutions${\rightarrow}$decision on the priority${\rightarrow}$making an action plan${\rightarrow}$performance${\rightarrow}$evaluation, and on each stage, the contents for the activities of teachers and learners and detailed supportive elements are offered.

Facilitators and Barriers in the Use of a Checklist by Insurance Physicians during Work Ability Assessments in Depressive Disorder

  • Objectives: Depressive disorder (DD) is a complex disease, and the assessment of work ability in patients with DD is also complicated. The checklist depression (CDp) has recently been developed to support such work ability assessments and has been recommended for implementation in insurance medicine, starting with an analysis of the organisational and social contexts. The aim of this study was to identify the potential facilitators and barriers in the use of the CDp by insurance physicians (IPs) during work ability assessments of employees on sick leave due to DD. Methods: A qualitative research was conducted based on semi-structured interviews. The participants were IPs with at least one year of work experience in performing work ability assessments. The interviews were audiotaped, transcribed and analysed qualitatively. Results: Ten IPs (7 males, 3 females; mean 53 years) were interviewed. Important facilitators, which emerged for use of the CDp, were an oral introduction for colleagues and staff, support from management, valuing the increased transparency in work ability assessments with using the CDp, having adequate time for assessments as well as modification of the appearance (colour, plasticised form) and content (clarifying aspects of the examples) of the assessment tool. The fear of the loss of autonomy, lack of added value of the CDp, high workload, inadequate instructions and lack of time were mentioned as barriers. Conclusion: Adequate introduction to the use of CDp and the fear of the loss of autonomy of IPs need special attention in planning its implementation.
