저밀도/초경량의 스트레치성 Polyester/Cotton교직물 개발 (Development of Low Fabric Density and Ultra-Light Polyester/Cotton Blended Fabrics)

  • In this the study, polyester/cotton(P/C) blended fabrics with fine denier were developed to get the light weight compared with the traditional P/C blended fabrics. Moreover, the width of the fabrics was extended by the tenter during the final heat treatment to get the lower fabric density and lighter weight. Then, the physical properties of these fabrics were analysed. The results were as the follows: The developed fabrics had 22.6-31.6% lighter weight than the traditional fabrics with the same fabric width. The weight of fabric decreased drastically with the fabrics width down to 67.1 $g/m^2$. The fabric density for the warp direction decreased with the fabric width. The tenacity and the elongation of the developed fabrics was little lower than that of the traditional fabrics. The air permeability of the developed fabrics increased with that of the traditional fabrics. The stretch rate of the developed fabrics decreased with increasing the fabric width. Residual stretch rate of the developed fabrics was more stable than that of the traditional fabrics. Residual stretch rate of the developed fabrics increased with the fabric width, but the highest value was less than 5% which is quit stable.

패션성 향상을 위한 신발갑피용 고강도 면직물 개발 (Development of High-strength Cotton Fabrics for Upper of Shoes to Improve Fashionability)

  • This paper considers the moisture permeability and fashion in the upper fabrics of cotton fabric shoes woven into various tissues and properties measured to examine the use as upper fabrics. We measured the tissues of the manufactured upper fabric are 1/3 twill, $4{\times}4$ weft rib, Maya, Triple, Deformed twill design (DTD), Diamond tissues and tear strength, tensile strength, breaking elongation, stretching under load at 100N, stitch tear resistance, and fastness. In the case of $4{\times}4$ weft rib, the tear strength and tensile strength were excellent; however, the elongation and stitch tear resistance at 100N load were less than the standard value. DTD fabrics are characterized by physical properties in the warp direction that are superior to those in the weft direction; however, the tear strength and tensile strength in the weft direction are less than the standard value. The 1/3 twill fabrics showed high tensile strength value and stitch tear resistance value in the warp direction; however, toughness, the main property of the shoe upper, was below the standard value. Triple and diamond fabrics, which have a significant effect on the performance of the shoe upper fabric, also had less than the standard value of tear strength. Maya upper fabric for shoes has better properties than other upper fabrics except for the elongation at break, and the stitch tear resistance has a value of 178% in the warp direction and 214% in the weft direction compared to the standard value. Therefore, the Maya fabric showed the possibility of being used as an upper textile for shoes.

메탈릭 자카드 직물 물리적 성능평가 (Physical Performance of Metallic Jacquard Fabrics)

  • The purposes of this study are to evaluate physical performance of metallic Jacquard fabrics, and to contribute to the research and development of the women's suit made of the metallic Jacquard fabrics. First, eight fabrics were woven with two kinds of warp yarns(nylon and rayon) and weft yarn blended with various contents(0, 7, 14, 21%) of metallic yarn. Second, the mechanical properties were measured by using the KES-FB system, and physical properties such as tensile strength, tearing strength, abrasion resistance, drape, pilling, snagging, degree of crease resistance, flexural stiffness, specular gloss, folding endurance and electrostatic propensity were measured. The results were as follows. As the metal fiber content increased, bending, shear, thickness and weight increased, which imply low recovery of wrinkles. It means that metallic Jacquard fabrics enable to use as a memory fabric. 7% metallic Jacquard fabric showed a low value at total hand value, but there was little change. As the metal fiber content increased, tensile strength, tearing strength, drape coefficient, specular gloss and flexural stiffness increased, however the degree of crease resistance, electrostatic propensity and folding endurance decreased. The metallic Jacquard fabrics were excellent in snagging, abrasion resistance and pilling.

  • This paper descrived the changes of peel strength wrinkle recovery and dimensional stability after fusing 4 different wool face fabrics with 3 different fusible interlinings. The fusing condition was conducted by fusing press machine under 4kg.f/cm2 at 15$0^{\circ}C$. To determine the effect of the varous physical properties of the fused fabrics face fabrics and interlinings on the peel strength wrinkle recovery and dimensional stability(hygral expansion and relaxation shrinkage) of fused fabrics correlation among the KES values of fused fabrics face fabrics and interlinings to the peel strength rinkle recovery and dimensional stability of fused fabrics were expeerimentally analyzed,. As the results the peel strength was mainly influenced by the cover factor of face fabric and interlinings. After fusing wrinkle recovery and hygral expansion were decreased. The cover factor wrinkle recovery weight thickness shear rigidity and frictional properties of face fabric and the thickness of fused fabrics were not influence to the wrinkle recovery of fused fabrics. In addition the dimensional stabilities of fused fabrics were mainly influenced by the tensile and frictional properties of the wrinkle recovery of fused fabrics. In addition the dimensional stabilities of fused fabrics were mainly influenced by the tensile and frictional properties of the face fabrics.

3D 어패럴 캐드 시스템으로 제작된 가상의복의 소재물성별 실물 재현도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Expressivity of Virtual Clothing made of 3D Apparel CAD System according to the Physical Properties of Fabric)

  • This research was conducted to provide basic data to improve expressivity required for virtual clothing to replace actual clothing. For the experiment, 6 materials were selected and 12(2 kinds of length) actual flared skirts were made. At the same time, simulations were carried out on OptiTex Runway 12.0 for 36(12 kinds of skirts $\times$ KES, FTU, KES weight/10) kinds of virtual flared skirts, which were applied with the measured property values (thickness, weight, bending, shear, friction, and stretch). Also, the study compared and analyzed the wearing images, silhouette overlapping images, and skirt length measurements of the actual and virtual skirts put on a dummy. As a result, the actual skirts showed clear distinction for each material. In contrast, virtual 1 and 2 expressed fabric 3 in the most similar way, but could not recreate the uniform, soft, and natural flare shape of the actual skirts in general. Virtual 3 formed natural flares as those of the actual skirts, and expressed fabric 1, 5, and 6 in a similar way. However, virtual 3 had too much volume and barely showed any distinction for each material. All of virtual 1, 2, and 3 expressed different flare shapes on the front and back sides of the skirt similarly to the actual skirts, and had a good visual expression for the color and texture of the materials. However, they could not effectively express the elasticity and fabric sagging in the bias direction.

내열성여과포의 개발 및 기초성능 규명 (Development and Characterization of High Temperature Filter)

  • 산업용 직물여과포의 운전에서 발견되는 다양한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 일환으로 내열성여과포를 개발하여 성능을 규명하였다. 국내 산업체에서 배출되는 대표적인 네 종류의 먼지들, 즉 제철공정의 코크먼지, 시멘트 제조업체의 시멘트 먼지, 유동층 연소로의 비산회재, 그리고 폐플라스틱 소각로의 연소재에 대하여 여과포의 성능을 시험하였다. 내열성여과포의 물리화학적 특성은 평균 세공흐름압력 및 기포점 세공지름, 평균흐름 세공지름, 세공크기분포, SO2 및 NO2 분위기에서의 물성변화의 항목으로 평가 되었다. 또한, 벤치규모의 필터시험장치에서 직물여과포에 대한 압력손실, 먼지 통과율, 여과포 성능 평가지수를 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 직물여과포는 양호한 물리화학적 필터 특성을 지니고 있으며 전형적인 산업체 먼지를 처리하는데 적합하였다.

PET/Co-PET해도사 직물의 Co-PET추출 조건에 관한 연구 (A Study on Extraction Condition of Co-PET from PET/Co-PET Sea-Island Type Microfiber Fabric)

  • In order to make a microfiber fabric with PET/Co-PET Sea-Island Type microfiber, the optimum condition of extraction and elimination of Co-PET from the mocrofiber was examined. At the same time, the physical property change of the fabric with respect to the change of the relative amount of the Co-PET in the microfiber was also examined to provide a directly applicable data set to the industry. The sample fabric used was warp 75/36(DTY) and weft 0.05d(PET/Co-PET, Sea Island Type Microfiber) twill fabric of 36 separated yarns+40/24(high shrinking yarn) with 130/48 ITY. The data set was made at various NaOH concentrations and steam temperatures with time as a main variable. The physical properties examined were the tensile properties. The results obtained were the tensile. The results obtained were 1. For a proper extraction of Co-PET (13.5%)from the microfiber with wet curing, it takes more than 5 min. in 8 and 12% of NaOH solutions but it takes only 3 min. in 18% of NaOH solution at 12$0^{\circ}C$. 2. For a proper extraction of Co-PET (13.5%) from the microfiber with wet curing, ti takes 3~5min. in 12 and 14% of NaOH solution and it takes less than 3 min. in 18% of NaOH solution at $130^\circ{C}$. 3. The increasing ratio of WT increased with increasing NaOH concentrations and the equilibrium point reached was 3 min. at $120^\circ{C}$. 4. The WT increasing ratio was greater in 14 and 18% NaOH solutions than in 8 and 12% of NaOH solutions at $130^\circ{C}$5. The RT ratio changes at $120^\circ{C}$ in 8 and 12% of NaOH solutions were indifferent from that at $130^\circ{C}$ in 12% of NaOH solution. However, the RT was apparently decreased with increasing NaOH concentration.
