Nb를 포함하는 불소산화물에서 구조적 뒤틀림에 따른 에너지 띠 간격의 변화 (Variation of Band Gap Energy upon Structural Distortion for Nb-containing Oxyfluorides)

  • 국부적인 결정구조와 에너지 띠 간격 간 상관관계를 고찰하기 위하여 Nb를 포함하는 일련의 불소 산화물에 대하여 결정구조와 자외선-가시광선 확산 반사율 스펙트럼을 비교, 연구하였다. 이 실험에서 다룬 RbSrNb2O6F와 RbCaNb2O6F, RbNb2O5F는 공통적으로, 꼭지점 공유를 하고 있는 NbO5F 팔면체로 구성되어 있 다. 구조적 뒤틀림 정도의 척도로 볼 수 있는 Nb-O(F)-Nb 평균 결합각은 RbSrNb2O6F에서 158.6°, RbCaNb2O6F 에서 149.6° 그리고 RbNb2O5F에서 139.5o이다. 확산 반사율 스펙트럼으로부터 구한 에너지 띠 간격은 Nb-O(F)-Nb 결합각이 감소할수록 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 즉 RbSrNb2O6F, RbCaNb2O6F, RbNb2O5F 각각의 화합물에 대해 서 3.48 eV, 3.75 eV, 4.03 eV 의 값을 나타내었다. 이러한 실험적 결과는 Nb를 포함하는 불소 산화물에서 국 부구조의 변화를 통해 띠 간격을 약 0.6 eV의 범위에서 조절할 수 있음을 의미한다.

Dynamic Earth Pressure on Embedded Structure

  • Dynamic earth pressure is considered an important parameter in the design of embedded structures. In current engineering design simplified methods developed either for yielding or non-yielding structures are utilized to predict resultant dynamic pressure. The applicability of these equations to embedded structures have not yet been reported. In this study we perform a suite of equivalent linear time history analysis for a range of embedded structure configurations. Numerically calculated dynamic pressure is shown to depend on the flexibility ratio (F), aspect ratio (L/H) of the embedded structure, and ground motion. Increase in L/H and intensity increases the magnitude of dynamic pressure. An increase in F decreases the dynamic pressure. Overall, the trends highlight the need for development of new method that accounts for F and L/H to calculate the dynamic pressure for the performance-based design of embedded structures.

  • The effects of the applied stretch and MgADP binding on the structure of the actin and myosin cross-bridges in rabbit fibers in the rigor state have been investigatedwith improved resolution by x-ray diffraction using synchrotron radiation. To clarify the structure of the ATP hydrolysis intermediates formed by actin and myosin cross-bridges,the effects of various phosphate analogs in the of MgADP on the structure of the thin and thick filaments in glycerinated rabbit muscle fibers in the rigor state investigated by x-ray diffraction with a short exposure time using synchrotron radiation. These results strongly suggest that when MgADP and phosphate analogs such as metallofluorides(BeF3 and AlF4)and vanadate(VO4(Vi)) were added the rigor fibers in the presence of the ATP-depletion backup system, the intensities of the actin-based layer lines were markedly weakened. We found that the intensity of the 14.5 nm-based meridional reflections increase by 20-50% when phosphate analogs such as metallofluorides(BeF3 and AlF4) and vanadate(VO4(Vi)) was added to the rigor muscle.

  • X-선 회절법을 이용하여 metalaxy1, C/sub15/H/sub21/NO₄의 분자 및 결정 구조를 규명하였다. 화합물의 결정학 자료 : 단사정계 공간군 P2₁/c, a=7.849(4) Å, b=13.081(5) Å, c= 15.100(3) Å, β=101.8(2)°, V=1517.6(3) Å₃, Z=4. 분자 구조는 직접법으로 풀었고 완전최소자승법으로 정밀화하여 1694(F/sub 0//sup 2/>4σ(F/sub 0//sup 2/))인 독립회절반전에 대하여 최종 신뢰도 값 R= 0.067을 얻었다. 구조 해석 결과, Cl2-Hl2A…O1의 분자 내 수소 결합을 이루고 있었다.

  • It is well known that the warped product $L\;{\times}\;{_f}\;F$ of a line L and a Kaehler manifold F is an almost contact Riemannian manifold which is characterized by some tensor equations appeared in (1.7) and (1.8). In this paper we determine contact slant submanifolds tangent to the structure vector field of $L\;{\times}\;{_f}\;F$.

  • The warped product L$\times$$_{f}$ F of a line L and a Kaehler manifold F is a typical example of Kenmotsu manifold. In this paper we determine submanifolds of L$\times$$_{f}$ F which are tangent to the structure vector field and satisfy certain conditions concerning with Ricci curvature and mean curvature.ure.

듀얼밴드를 갖는 브랜치타입 인버티드 F구조 안테나에 관한 연구 (A study on branch type Inverted-F structure antenna with dual-band operation)

  • 본 논문에서는 듀얼 대역을 갖는 브랜치타입 인버티드 F구조 안테나를 제안했다. 제안된 안테나의 크기는 이동 단말기의 PCB크기$(70mm{\times}35mm{\times}0.8mm)$에 패치 크기$(12mm{\times}8mm{\times}0.8mm)$를 갖도록 설계하였다 제안한 안테나의 공지주파수는 2.45GHz와 5.8GHz이고, 각각의 중심주파수에서 대역폭이 255MHz, 410MHz으로 $83MHz{\sim}100MHz$의 동작주파수를 만족하도록 하였다. 또한, 동작주파수 2.45GHz, 5.8GHz에 대하여 측정된 방사패턴 E면과 H면은 모든 대역에서 0.0dBi, 2.0dBi의 이득을 갖는다.

단일형 현장타설말뚝의 소성힌지를 고려한 최적설계법 제안 (Analysis of Plastic Hinge of Pile-Bent Structure with Varying Pile Diameters)

  • In this study, a new design method of pile bent structure considering plastic hinge was proposed on the basis of the beam-column model. Based on the analysis results, it is found that the positioning of plastic hinge on the pile bent structure was influenced by nonlinear behavior of material and p-$\Delta$ effect. Moreover, concrete cracking began to occur at the joint section between the pile and column in case of pile bent structure with different cross-sections. The plastic hinge can be developed on the pile bent structure when large displacement was occurred, and pile bent structures can be maintained well only if it is developed on the column part. Therefore, in this study, the optimized cross-section ratio between column and pile was analyzed to induce the plastic hinge at the joint section between the pile and column. Based on this, the optimized diameter ratio of pile and column can be obtained below the inflection point of the bi-linear curve depending on the relations between column-pile diameter ratio($D_c/D_p$) and normalized lateral cracking load ratio($F/F_{Dc=Dp}$). And through this study, it is founded that in-depth limit($L_{As}$=0.4%) normalized by the pile length($L_P$) are proportionally decreased as the pile length($L_P/D_P$) increases up to $L_P/D_P$=17.5, and beyond that in-depth limit converges to a constant value. Finally, it is found that the proposed limit depth by taking into account the minimum concrete-steel ratio would be more economical design of the pile bent structure.

  • LiMn2O4 thin fiolm cathodes for Li-ion secondary battery were fabricated by r.f. magnetron sputtering technique. As-deposited films were amorphous. A spinel structure could not be obtained LiMn2O4 films by in-situ thermal annealing. After post thermal annealing over $700^{\circ}C$ in oxygen atmosphere, LiMn2O4 films prepared above 100 W r.f. power could be crystallized into a spinel structure. The electrochemical property of the LiMn2O4 film cathodes was tested in a Li/1 M LiClO4 in PC/LiMn2O4 cell. From cyclic voltammetry at scan rate of 2mV/sec of 2.5~4.5V, LiMn2O4 electrode prepared by post annealing at 75$0^{\circ}C$ showed good initial capacity. LiMn2O4 electrode prepared by post annealing at 80$0^{\circ}C$ showed the best crycling performance.
