This paper investigated Korean prosody as it relates to graded internal structure in an identification function. Within Korean prosody, variants regarded as dialectal variations can appear as different prosodic scales, which contain the range of within-category variations. The current experiment was intended to show how the prosodic scale corresponding to the range of within-category differences relates to f0 contours for speakers of two Korean dialects, North Kyungsang and South Cholla. In an identification task, participants responded by selecting an item from two answer choices. The probability of choosing the correct response from the two choices was computed by a logistic regression analysis using intercepts and slopes. That is, the correct response between two choices was used to show a linear line with an s-shape presentation. In this paper, to investigate the graded internal structure of labeling, 25%, 50%, and 75% of predicted probability were assessed. Listeners from North Kyungsang showed progressive variations, whereas listeners from South Cholla revealed random patterns in the internal structure of the identification function. In this paper, the results were plotted using scatterplot graphs, applying the range of within-category variation and predicted probability obtained from the logistic regression analyses. The scatterplot graphs showed the different degree of the responses for f0 scales (i.e., variations within categories). The results demonstrate that the gradient structures of native pitch accent users become more progressive in response to f0 scales.
The self-assembly of asymmetric ABC triblock copolymers in the ordered structure is investigated using an isothermal-isobaric molecular dynamics simulation. Unlike symmetric A BC triblock copolymers, more fascinating mophologies are observed in asymmetric ones because of a larger difference of incompatibility between the components. Various modes of self-assembly in assymmetric ABC triblock copolymers are also observed depending on the block composition. When the composition of block A Is changed from 0.125: to 0.25 at the same $f_B$ : 0.25, the morphological transition from the “cylinder in cylinder” to “cylinders at cylinder” structure is observed in the simulation. In the case of ABC triblocks with $f_B$=0.5, a lamellar-type structure is changed to a cylinder-type structure with increasing the length of block A. When the midblock length increases further to $f_B$=0.625, the “spheres on cylinder” structure is observed in both the $A_{10}$$B_{50}$$C_{20}$ and $A_{20}$$B_{50}$$C_{10}$ triblocks. From these results, the phase diagram of ABC triblock copolymers can be constructed.
The simplified cumulant method was applied to diffraction data of $CClF_3$ to study the equilibrium molecular parameters over a range of temperatures. The molecular parameters of $CClF_3$ by the simplified cumulant method were compared with those from the traditional method. Also the instrumentation of picosecond time resolved electron diffraction (TRED) and the experimental details are described. The total experimental temporal resolution was discussed in terms of the electron pulse width. The TRED system was applied to study the molecular structures for $CClF_3$ at room temperature. The molecular structural parameters $CClF_3$ from TRED are compared with those from GED/RT. The molecular parameters ($r_e$)of bonded C-F and C-Cl for $CClF_3$ by simplified CA are 132.00(2) pm and 175.20(3) pm, respectively, by using GED/RT. From the results of TRED experiments $r_a$ for bonded C-F and C-Cl are 132.23(13) pm and 177.23(19) pm.
Consider the $L^2$-adjoint $s_g^{'*}$ of the linearization of the scalar curvature $s_g$. If ker $s_g^{'*}{\neq}0$ on an n-dimensional compact manifold, it is well known that the scalar curvature $s_g$ is a non-negative constant. In this paper, we study the structure of the level set ${\varphi}^{-1}$(0) and find the behavior of Ricci tensor when ker $s_g^{'*}{\neq}0$ with $s_g$ > 0. Also for a nontrivial solution (g, f) of $z=s_g^{'*}(f)$ on an n-dimensional compact manifold, we analyze the structure of the regular level set $f^{-1}$(-1). These results give a good understanding of the given manifolds.

In this study we suggest that the spatial correlation structure of the brain fMRI data be used to characterize the functional connectivity of the brain. For some concussion and recovery data, we examine how the correlation structure changes from one step to another in the data analyses, which will allow us to see the effect of each analysis to the spatial correlation or the functional connectivity of the brain. This will lead us to spot the processes which cause significant changes in the spatial correlation structure of the brain. We discuss whether or not we can decompose correlation matrices in terms of its causes of variations in the data.
Effects of genotype, settlement density and irradiane on the growth, mortality and population structure of Fucus serratus germlings were examined in the laboratory. The growth of F. serratus germlings was influenced by genotype of parent plants, which is likely to occur by microclimatic differentiation of substrata. The growth of germlings were greater at lower densities than higher densities indicating that intraspecific competition between germlings occurred within three weeks. Also, the growth of F. serratus germlings was better at $120\mumol\;m^-2/s^-1$ than at $60\mumol\;m^-2/s^-1$. However, mortality of germlings was determined by settlement density rather than irradiance. In population structure, skewness was increased at low irradiance and high density indicating that population structure could be changed by intraspecific competition. Thus, it is concluded that genotypic differentiation of F. serratus germlings occurred in a microgeographic scale, and the experimental density and irradiance level affected the growth of germlings.
In oxides characterized by the $K_2NiF_4-type$ structure, the low-spin${\to}$high-spin transition of trivalent cobalt ion was studied in function of the nature of competing bonds in the perovskite-plane and along the c-axis. Using Slichter and Drickamer's model the calculated values of parameters characterizing such a transition are correlated with the covalency of competing bonds along the c-axis of the $K_2NiF_4$-structure and the local structural distortion of the $(CoO_6)$ octahedron.

The passivation films with epoxy layer on LiF, $SiN_x$ and LiF/$SiN_x$ inorganic layer were fabricated on OLED to protect device from the direct damage of $O_2$ and $H_2O$ and to apply for a buffer layer between OLED device and passivation multi-layer with organic/inorganic hybrid structure as to diminish the thermal stress and expansion. Red OLED doped with 1 vol.% Rubrene in $Alq_3$ was used as a basic device. The device structure was multi-layer of ITO(150 nm) / ELM200_HIL(50 nm) / ELM002_HTL(30 nm) / $Alq_3$: 1 vol.% Rubrene(30 nm) / $Alq_3$(30 nm) / LiF(0.7 nm) / Al(100 nm). LiF/epoxy applied as a protective layer didn't contribute to the improvement of life time. While in case of $SiN_x$/epoxy, damage was done in the passivation process because of difference in heat expansion between films which could occur during the formation of epoxy film. Using LiF/$SiN_x$/epoxy improved lifetime significantly without suffering damage in the process of forming films, therefore, the best structure of passivation film with inorganic/epoxy layers was LiF/$SiN_x$/E1.

F.E.M formulation is carried out in order to determine temperature distribution in the concrete structure. According to this formulation an F.E.M. code is developed, which is capable of silmulating time varying boundary conditions and nonlinear thermal properties.
We obtain interior regularity estimates in the weighted Orlicz spaces for viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear uniformly parabolic equations ut - F(D2 u, x, t) = f(x, t) in Q1 under relaxed structure conditions on the nonlinear operator F.
