Analysis of Radiation Patterns of Inverted-F Antenna(IFA) on Cylindrical Conducting Body (원통 도체 위에 장착된 역 F 안테나의 방사 패턴 분석)

  • In this paper, radiation patterns are simulated and analyzed for inverted-F antenna(IFA) on a cylindrical conducting body like a satellite launcher. First, parametric studies are performed for IFA itself to analyze its characteristics. Then, IFAs on a cylindrical conducting body are simulated and analyzed. Especially, by changing the number of IFAs, the length and the diameter of the cylinder radiation patterns are simulated and analyzed. Finally, IFAs on a cylindrical conducting body are fabricated and their return losses and radiation patterns are measured. Good agreements are observed between the simulated and measured results.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 힘판(Force plate)의 지면반발력(Ground reaction force)의 비교에 따라 발압력 측정계(F-메트와 F-스킨)의 상호 기계간의 신뢰성과 타당성을 연구하는 데에 목적을 두고 있으며 정상인과 리스프랑크(Lisfranc) 골절을 가지고 있는 환자를 대상으로 분석 연구하게 되었다. 힘판의 지면 반발력을 기준치로 설정하고 정상인과 환자의 각각 오른발과 왼발의 스텝에 대해 F 메트(F-mat) 와 F 스캔(F-scan) 시스템의 그래픽 비교 모식과 시간에따른 보령분석의 차이에 따라 이 논문에 대한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 F 스킨 시스템의 데이터 분석기인 새로운 버전 3.622와 마이크로 소프트웨어인 엑셀 97을 통해 새 시스템의 힘의 평균치와 그래픽을 통해 비교 분석하게 되었으며 다음과 같은 세가지 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫 번째로 F스캔의 지면 반발력은 힘판과 비교되어질 때 통계학적으로 중요한 차이점을 얻을 수 없을 것이다. 두 번째, F 메트를 위한 지면 반발력 역시 힘판과 비교되어질 때 통계학적으로 중요한 차이점율 얻음 수 없을 것이다. 세 번째로 정상군과 실험군의 지면 반발력에 대해 중요한 차이점이 있을 것이라는 것이 밝혀졌다. 특히 정상군의 대상자는 실험군의 대상자와 비교되어질 때 각 발에 대해 증가된 지면 반발력을 나타내었다. 이상 본 연구에 대해 다음의 결론을 내릴 수가 있었고 기존의 F 스캔 시스템이 임상적으로 많이 쓰여졌지만 F 스캔의 센서에 대해 많은 이견 차이를 보였었다. 한편. F메트 시스템에서 F메트 센서의 일관성에 대해서는 어느 연구 논문도 나오지 않았고 이에 대해 F스캔(F-scan)과 힘판(Force plate)를 상호 비교하여 F메트 시스템에 대한 신뢰성과 타당성을 연구하는데 목적을 두게되었다.

  • In this letter, we investigate the performance analysis of massive MIMO systems using MRT and ZF precodings according to the number of DoF. We analyze the ergodic received SINRs with MRT and ZF precodings as closed-forms over the number of DoF normalized by the number of antennas. In simulation results, we verify the analyzed results and observe that MRT precoding is better than ZF precoding in terms of the ergodic received SINR with a small number of DoF.

  • ITER AC/DC 컨버터(Converter)는 핵융합 발생을 위해 토카막의 초전도코일에 제어된 전류를 공급하여 플라즈마 발생, 형상 유지, 소멸하는 기능을 한다. 만일 컨버터 또는 초전도코일에 이상이 발생하면 즉시 보호동작이 실행되어야 한다. 이를 위해 설계된 F-LIC(Fast Local Interlock Controller)은 즉시 작동하여 Bypass 및 Make Switch 트리거, 차단기 작동 등을 순차적으로 수행한다. ITER Interlock System의 기기는 중요성이 고려되어 높은 신뢰도가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 F-LIC 회로분석과 Telcordia SR-332 Standard에 의한 부품고장률 산출방법을 사용하여 FMEDA를 분석하고, 이를 통하여 회로구성 부품의 고장이 미치는 영향과 F-LIC 제어모듈의 SIL-2 등급의 적합성을 분석하였다.

  • In this study, we evaluated the use of RAPD method to discriminate among strains of Fusarium species including F. oxysporum and f. sp. of F. oxysporum. As a result of the amplication, fifteen primers showed total 180 bands ranging from 0.2 to 3 Kb. Among those 180 bands, 126 polymorphic bands were used for bionominal matrix code (0, 1), and UPGMA dendrogram analysis. Fusarium oxysporum isolate 355 showed high similarity with F. oxysporum isolate 358 at 0.9603. Fusarium roseum isolate 87 and F. oxysporum isolate 358, F. o. f. sp. lycopersici isolate 69 and F. o. f. sp. melongena 68 showed low similarity of 0.3809. Fusarium oxysporum isolate 361 and F. o. f. sp. raphani isolate 218 showed similarity of 0.8730, F. oxysoprum isolate 354 and unidentified Fusarium sp. isolate 228 showed similarity matrix of 0.7936, and F. roseum isolate 87 and F. o. f. sp. raphani isolate 57 showed similarity matrix of 0.5873.

  • $LiF-BeF_2-ZrF_4$(63-30-7 mol%) molten salt was dissolved up to 0.02g in 1ml of distilled water at room temperature. $ZrO_2$ oxide made from $ZrF_4$ through pyrohydrolysis was recovered by leaching in distilled water with $LiF-BeF_2-ZrF_4$molten salt including it at room temperature. The crystalline sharpness of recovered $ZrO_2$ oxide was not damaged.

  • The quantitative inheritance of some yield characters in Gosyium spp was carried out by means of a $10\times10$ diallel cross. In this study, 45 combinations of $F_1\;and\;F_2$ generations were genetically analyzed through 10 different cultivars diallel cross population of cotton (Gosyium spp) at an experimental field. The results of Vr-Wr graph analysis of six characters such as number of boll, boll weight, lint weight per boll, 100 seeds weight, fiber fineness and fiber length in those combinations by the Hayman's method were as follow: 1. The significant difference was observed from the genetic variance of all the examined characters. 2. On based the Vr-Wr graphical analysis, $F_1$ showed a complete dominance in all the experimental characters except boll weight, lint weight per boll and fiber fineness, but the dominance degree and gene arrangement of $F_2$ were somewhat different from those of $F_1$.

  • In this study, to maximize RF performance of MOSFETs, $f_T$ and $f_{max}$ dependent data on $W_u$ are measured and newly analyzed by extracting small-signal model parameters. From the physical analysis results, it is found that a peak value of $f_T$ is generated by $W_u$-independent parasitic gate-bulk capacitance at narrow $W_u$ and the wide width effect of reducing the increasing rate of transconductance at wide $W_u$. In addition, it is revealed that a maximum value of $f_{max}$ is caused by the non-quasi-static effect that the gate resistance is greatly reduced at narrow $W_u$ and becomes constant at wide $W_u$.

Brain F-18 FDG PET for localization of epileptogenic zones in frontal lobe epilepsy: visual assessment and statistical parametric mapping analysis (전두엽 간질에서 F-18-FDG PET의 간질병소 국소화 성능: 육안 판독과 SPM에 의한 분석)

  • Purpose: We evaluated the sensitivity of the F-18 FDG PET by visual assessment and statistical parametric mapping (SPM) analysis for the localization of the epileptogenic zones in frontal lobe epilepsy. Materials and Methods: Twenty-four patients with frontal lobe epilepsy were examined. All patients exhibited improvements after surgical resection (Engel class I or II). Upon pathological examination, 18 patients revealed cortical dysplasia, 4 patients revealed tumor, and 2 patients revealed cortical scar. The hypometabolic lesions were found in F-18 FDG PET by visual assessment and SPM analysis. On SPM analysis, cutoff threshold was changed. Results: MRI showed structural lesions in 12 patients and normal results in the remaining 12. F-18 FDG PET correctly localized epileptogenic zones in 13 patients (54%) by visual assessment. Sensitivity of F-18 FDG PET in MR-negative patients (50%) was similar to that in MR-positive patients (67%). On SPM analysis, sensitivity decreased according to the decrease of p value. Using uncorrected p value of 0.05 as threshold, sensitivity of SPM analysis was 53%, which was not statistically different from that of visual assessment. Conclusion: F-18 FDG PET was sensitive in finding epileptogenic zones by revealing hypometabolic areas even in MR-negative patients with frontal lobe epilepsy as well as in MR-positive patients. SPM analysis showed comparable sensitivity to visual assessment and could be used as an aid in the diagnosis of epileptogenic zones in frontal lobe epilepsy.

  • The crystallization of NaF driven by adding ethanol was monitored using quartz crystal analyzer (QCA). Adding ethanol to NaF solution reduced the solubility of NaF and consequently led to nucleation and growth of NaF crystals. To investigate the crystallization behavior of NaF, a gold electrode of QCA was modified by anchoring with 2-mercaptoethylamine hydrochloride based on a self-assembly method. Frequency of QCA varied with the amount of NaF adsorbed on the self-assembled layer of 2-mercaptoethylamine hydrochloride, and thereby the process of NaF crystallization could be analyzed indirectly by monitoring the frequency change of QCA. To change the extent of supersaruration of NaF, the amount of ethanol added to the solution was varied from 1 to 5 ml. Then, the effect of the extent of the supersaturation on the crystallization was examined by analyzing the frequency changes of QCA coated with 2-mercaptoethylamine hydrochloride. It was shown that the QCA technique could be well applied for the characterization and analysis of the crystallization behavior of NaF.
