  • In this paper, we analyzed the electrical characteristics with crack pattern in crystalline solar cell. crystalline solar cells with a thin substrate, even small shocks can be easily damaged. Before the module goes through many processes, because the solar cells are at risk of a crack. That occurred early in the PV module micro-crack is not easily detection by eye test or output test. Because the EL (Electroluminescence) device has been detected using. PV module is made by laminated of a variety of materials. By different properties of each material will affect the crack. For this reason, the crack will grow and affect the output. And We analyzed the three crack patterns in crystalline solar cell. A growth of cracks on crystalline solar cell was interpreted by analysing generated cracks on the PV modules. Based on this interpretation, an electrical output value was calculated by mathematical modeling on electrical output characteristic with each crack patterns.

  • Nanoimprint lithography is a next generation lithography technology, which enables to fabricate nano to micron-scale patterns through simple and low cost process. Nanoimprint lithography has been applied in various industry fields such as light emitting diodes, solar cells and display. Functional patterns, including anti-reflection moth-eye pattern, photonic crystal pattern, fabricated by nanoimprint lithography are used to improve overall efficiency of devices in that fields. For these reasons, in this study, sub-micron-scaled functional patterns were directly fabricated on Si and glass substrates by thermal imprinting process using ZnO nano-particles dispersion resin. Through the thermal imprinting process, arrays of sub-micron-scaled pillar and hole patterns were successfully fabricated on the Si and glass substrates. And then, the topography, components and optical property of the imprinted ZnO nano-particles/resin patterns are characterized by Scanning Electron Microscope, Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and UV-vis spectrometer, respectively.

  • 본 논문에서는 두개의 Unpolarized F-P LD를 이용한 상호주입 잠김 기반의 파장 가변 광원을 구현하였고, 온도 변화에 따른 특성을 분석하였다. 온도 변화에 따라 파장의 가변 범위가 최대 약 2nm이고, 상대적 밀도 잡음(RIN)는 최저 -110dB/Hz임을 확인하였다. 또한 온도가 높을수록 상대적 밀도 잡음(RIN)는 높아지고, Eye Pattern에 Beating Noise가 발생하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • In this study, the figure of domestic hardwood was observed using the naked eye and the possibility of substituting imported wood with domestic one in the making woodcraft or furniture was investigated. It was known from the investigation on 8 different hardwoods that there were various figures such as cloud-shaped figure, blister figure, crotch figure, bird's eye figure, etc. in Zelkova serrata wood and the beautiful pigment figure in Diospyros Kaki wood. There were the unusual figures such as wavy grain figure, fiddle back figure, etc. in Cedrela sinensis wood and was clear ray-fleck figure in Quercus variabilis wood. There were also various figures such as wavy grain figure, blister figure, pigment figure, etc. in Sophra japonica, Tilia amurensis, Castanea crenata, Kalopanax septemlobus wood, etc. It is thus that distinguished figures appeared in each kind of wood can be used for craft, sculpture, furniture, and interior material. These kinds of figures can also be used for instrument, toy, stationery, life article material and souvenir, etc. And it can be expected that they will replace the imported wood has been mainly used to make the woodcraft or furniture until now.

이온빔 표면처리를 통한 나방눈 구조의 나노패턴 형성 연구 (Fabrication of nano-pattern of moth-eye structure by ion beam surface treatment)

  • 스마트 폰이나 내비게이션, 태블릿 PC, TV 등 디스플레이 소자가 휴대 가능해지고 고급화되면서 빛 반사로 인한 눈부심, 시인성 저하 등에 대한 문제가 제기되고 있다. 디스플레이의 반사방지를 위해 방현성(anti-glare) 및 반사방지(anti-reflection) 특성의 코팅이나 기능성 필름에 대한 연구 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 특히 반사방지 기능 부여를 위해 나방눈(moth-eye) 구조를 모방하여 표면 나노 구조 형상화에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있지만, 나노 임프린팅 및 리소그라피 공정을 통한 패턴 공정은 마스크나 몰드를 필요하고 대면적 제작에 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 폭 300 mm급 롤투롤 이온빔 표면처리를 통해 나노 구조 몰드 필름을 제작하였고, 이형용 수지를 이용한 표면 구조 전사를 통해 모스 아이 구조와 같은 나노 구조 패턴이 전사되는 것을 확인하였다. 나노 구조가 전사된 필름에 대한 투과도 관찰 결과, 전체 투과도 91% 이상으로 투과도가 약 3% 향상되고 반사도는 저하되는 결과를 확인하였다. 롤투롤 장비를 이용하여 대면적 필름 제작이 가능한 것을 확인하였고, 나노패턴의 구조 형성 및 반사방지 기능에 대한 신뢰성 검토를 통해서 양산화 가능할 것이라 전망된다.

REM 수면 관련 수면호흡장애 (REM-Related Sleep-Disordered Breathing)

  • Sleep is associated with definite changes in respiratory function in normal human beings. During sleep, there is loss of voluntary control of breathing and a decrease in the usual ventilatory response to both low oxygen and high carbon dioxide levels. Especially, rapid eye movement (REM) sleep is a distinct neurophysiological state associated with significant changes in breathing pattern and ventilatory control as compared with both wakefulness and non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep. REM sleep is characterized by erratic, shallow breathing with irregularities both in amplitude and frequency owing to marked reduction in intercostal and upper airway muscle activity. These blunted ventilatory responses during sleep are clinically important. They permit marked hypoxemia that occurs during REM sleep in patients with lung or chest wall disease. In addition, sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) is more frequent and longer and hypoventilation is more pronounced during REM sleep. Although apneic episodes are most frequent and severe during REM sleep, most adults spend less than 20 to 25% of total sleep time in REM sleep. It is, therefore, possible for patients to have frequent apneas and hypopneas during REM sleep and still have a normal apnea-hypopnea index if the event-rich REM periods are diluted by event-poor periods of NREM sleep. In this review, we address respiratory physiology according to sleep stage, and the clinical implications of SDB and hypoventilation aggravated during REM sleep.

환경적 간호중재가 개심술 환자의 중환자실섬망증, 환경적 스트레스 및 수면에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of the Environmental Nursing Intervention on ICU Delirium, Environmental Stress and Sleep in Patients Underwent Cardiac Surgical Procedures)

  • Purpose: To examine the effects of the environmental nursing intervention using eye-shields and earplugs on the incidence of delirium, environmental stress and sleep among the patients with open-heart surgery in the post-cardiac ICU(intensive care units). Method: This study was a non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design. The subjects consisted of 93 patients who received ICU care after the cardiac surgery. Among those, 32 subjects was assigned in one experimental group with eye-shields, 31 in the other experimental group with earplugs, and 30 in the control group. ICU delirium was measured by CAM-ICU, environmental stress by ICUESS, and sleep by two sleep scales developed by Oh, et al. and Kim. The data were analyzed by the SPSS 13.0 program including frequency, percentage, t-test, $x^2$ test, ANOVA and ANCOVA. Results: There are no statistically significant differences in the incidence of delirium among three groups (p=.139). The ICU environmental stress scores from the subjects of two experimental groups demonstrated lower (F=6.731, p=.002) than the control group. Also, the degrees of sleep pattern (p=.000, p=.000) and sleep satisfaction (p=.000, p=.000) were greater than those of the control group. Conclusion: Although the environmental nursing intervention using eye-shields and earplugs did not demonstrate the effects in decreasing the incidence of ICU delirium, it has affirmative effects in decreasing environmental stress and improving the quality sleep among the patients with open-heart surgery while they stay in ICU. Further nursing implications are discussed.

A Study on the Menu Type of Instrument Cluster IVIS

  • Objective: This research was carried out to study the menu type design of instrument cluster IVIS(In Vehicle Information System) for efficient navigation under deconcentrated situations. Background: A driver controls the IVIS menu using the rest of cognitive resources while driving a car. Although a driver controls the IVIS using extra cognition resources, his or her distraction can still cause some safety problems while driving. Menu type design of instrument cluster is absolutely important for safe and efficient navigation. Method: Four menu types including paging, flow, icon, and list type were identified through reviewing the existing IVIS of vehicle and the menu structure of cellular phone. Four menu types were evaluated through experiment. The experiment consisted of primary and secondary task, which the primary task was to simulate a driving and the secondary task was to control an IVIS menu prototype. Task performances, menu type preferences, and eye-movement patterns were measured in this experiment. Results: The result shows that icon type was the best design in aspect of task performance and preference. A clue for next menu item provided a positive effect for efficient menu navigation. It was identified that most of subjects gazed the middle-top area of IVIS screen from eye-movement pattern. Conclusion: A basic design of Instrument Cluster IVIS was proposed considering the result of this study in the final. Application: The results of this study can be effectively used in the design of Instrument Cluster IVIS.

  • 고속 메모리의 인터페이스를 위한 8 ${\times}$ 8-Gb/s/채널 4-레벨 펄스진폭변조 입출력회로를 1.35V의 공급전압을 가지는 70nm DRAM 공정을 이용하여 설계하였다. 4-레벨 펄스진폭변조를 위한 3 가지의 eye opening에서 상위와 하위 eye의 전압과 시간의 마진을 증가시키기 위해 비균형 4-레벨 펄스진폭변조의 신호전송 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법은 수신 단에서의 기준 전압 노이즈 영향을 33% 감소시키며, 이를 통계적인 수식을 통해 분석한다 일반적인 직렬 인터페이스 대비 신호 손실이 적은 DRAM 채널의 ISI(신호간의 간섭)를 줄이기 위해 수신 단에서 단일 비트 펄스의 테스트 신호를 적분함으로 ISI를 측정하는 적응형 프리앰퍼시스 기법을 구현한다. 또한, 이를 위해 정해진 테스트 패턴에 의해 최적의 ISI를 측정하기 위한 적분 클럭의 시간 보정기법을 제안한다.

안면신경마비 환자의 최근 5년간 연도별 진료경향 분석 (Prevalence and Treatment Pattern of Korean Patients with Facial Palsy)

  • Objectives : While there are many studies about treatments of facial palsy, no study has been performed on general population of Korea, especially concerning about comparison between western medicine and oriental medicine. This study aimed to investigate magnitude of health visits and treatment patterns for Korean patients with facial palsy through the computerized database of Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service(HIRAS). Methods : According to the HIRAS database over 5 years' period from 2004 to 2008, the medical records of patients with facial palsy as a main diagnosis were extracted. Inclusion criteria of facial palsy are Bell's palsy(G510), Geniculate ganglionitis(G511), Melkersson's syndrome(G512), Other disorders of facial nerve(G518), Disorder of facial nerve, unspecified(G519) in western medicine. And Paralytic face(G016), Deviated eye and mouth(J01), The other facial palsy(J013) were included in oriental medicine. We compared the claim number of western medical care with that of oriental medicine treatment by year and month. Results : The total claim number of facial palsy was increasing on both western medicine and oriental medicine from 2004 to 2008. In western medicine, the claim number of Bell's palsy(G510) is the most. In oriental medicine the inpatients claim number of Deviated eye and mouth(J01) is the most, while outpatients claim number of the other facial palsy(J013) is the most. Conclusions : Medical database of HIRAS provided comprehensive and vast information on epidemiologic characteristics and treatment, which can be more reliable data to expect medical demand for facial palsy in condition that accurate diagnosis and standardized treatment is delivered in clinical settings.
