성격차원이 선호 의복상표이미지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -여성을 중심으로- (A study on the influence of personality dimension on preferred brand image of Women's ready-made-wear -Concentrated on adult females-)

  • The main purpose of this study are as follows ; 1) To examine closely the effect of personality dimension on brand image. 2) To investigate the difference of variables about brand image according to the characteristics of the population statistics and draw the strategies of marketing for our wear enterprises. A 300 Samples were selected from female in Seoul and the investigation was conducted during 21 days, from 1998. 9. 21 to 1988. 10. 11. As for survey methozs, the personality dimension test developed by Eysenk was adopted. To measure the brand image, the adjectives of the semantic differentia scale developed by Malhotra and adjective that has been used in various were image analysis were adopted. The data were analysed using the statistical technic of Correlation Coefficient, F-test, and X2 test. The Results obtained from this study were as follows. 1. There were partially significant relationships between adult female's four subordinate variables of the personality dimension and preferred brand image on Women's ready-made wear. 1) The people having a high Psychoticism tendency preferred "individual" image and less preferred "practical" image than the people of low Psychoticism. 2) The people having a high extraversion tendency preferred "bold", "aged" image and less preferred "feminine", "practical" image. 3) The unstable female having a high neuroticism tendency preferred "abscure" image and less preferred "Practical" "gaudy", "Open hearted" image. 4) The people having a high lie tendency perferred "intricate", "classical" image and less preferred "bold", "citified", "incongruous" image. 2. There were partially significant differences in adult female's preferred brand image on women's ready made wear according to the characteristics of the population statistics.

생물에 대한 흥미에 따른 초등학생들의 군집 유형별 성격 5요인 차이 (The Differences of the Big Five Personality among Clusters of Children according to Interests to Living Things)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the patterns of the elementary school students' interests to animals and plants based on affinity toward animals and plants, and curiosity about animals and plants by using a cluster analysis. In addition, the differences of the big five personality traits by the identified clusters was examined. A total number of 411 elementary school students participated in the study. The students were clustered into four distinct interest groups with respect to the level of interests to animals and plants. Cluster 1 'Developed Interest to Organisms group' showed high levels in the interest to both animals and plants. Cluster 2 'Developed Interest to Animals group' showed high interest to animals and relatively low interest to plants whereas cluster 3 'Developed Interest to Plants group' showed high interest to plants and relatively low interest to animals. Lastly, cluster 4 were identified as 'Lack of Interest to Organisms group' by showing low levels of interest to both animals and plants. The four identified groups also showed different distributions of students according to gender and school year. These results support gender difference in the interest to animals and plants and suggest the decreased and specialized interest with school year. The Big Five personality traits excluding neuroticism were positively related with the interest to organisms and the identified groups showed significant differences in the traits. These findings indicate that agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, and openness can be significant predictors of the interests to animals and plants.

성격검사 및 신경심리검사를 이용한 사상체질간 성격 및 인지 특성 연구 (A Study on Personality Traits and Cognitive Characteristics of the Sasang Constitution using Neuropsychological and Personality Tests)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the personality traits and cognitive characteristics of the Sasang constitution by comparing the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ), Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI), Continuous Performance Test (CPT) and Stroop Test. Methods: One hundred and six healthy subjects (age 20 to 40) were analyzed; 45 Taeeumin, 30 Soyangin and 31 Soeumin. The Sasang constitution was diagnosed by a sasang constitutional medicine specialist based on the results of a Two Step Questionnaire for Sasang Constitution Diagnosis (TS-QSCD), the external appearance, temperament and symptoms. The results of the EPQ, TCI, CPT and Stroop Test were compared between Sasang constitutions. Results: Among the seven dimensions of EPQ, Taeeumin and Soyangin scored significantly higher than Soeumin in Extraversion. Soyangin scored significantly higher than Soeumin in Impulsiveness. Among the four temperament dimensions of TCI, Taeeumin and Soyangin scored significantly higher than Soeumin in novelty seeking, reward dependence and persistence. Soeumin scored significantly higher than Taeeumin and Soyangin in harm avoidance. Among the three character dimensions of TCI, Soyangin scored significantly higher than Taeeumin in self transcendence. The results for CPT showed no significant differences between sasang constitutions. Taeeumin had a significantly higher color score in the stroop test than Soeumin. Conclusions: The personality tests showed significant differences between Sasang constitutions, but the neuropsychological test did not show any differences. Further studies should be performed to identify neuropsychological differences between Sasang constitutions.

눈깜작임, 증감뇌유발전위와 성격의 상호관계 (Eyeblinks, EP Augmenting / Reducing and Personality)

  • 목 적 : 눈깜작임은 뇌에서 감각을 조절하는 기능과 관계된 개인의 인지능력과 성격에 따라 달라질 수 있다. 저자들은 이러한 성격이 눈깜작임과 증감뇌유발전위 등과 상호 어떠한 연관이 있는지를 연구하려고 하였다. 방법 : 44 명의 정상 대학생에게 증감뇌유발전위, 눈깜작임과 Zuckerman 의 감각추구척도와 Eysenck 성격설문지 동을 조사하여 그 상호관계를 분석하였다. 결 과 : 증감뇌유발전위에서 빛의 강도가 증가할수록 눈깜작임이 증가하였다. 대부분의 성격척도에서 눈깜작임과 유의한 역상관관계를 보였으며 신경증척도만이 정상관관계를 보였다. 눈깜작임과 증감유발전위의 기울기와 가장 강한 정상관관계를 보인 뇌의 부위는 우측 후 측두엽이었다. 결 론 : 감각추구경향이 강할수록 눈을 적게 깜작이었다. 유발전위보다 눈깜작임이 성격과 더 높은 상관관계를 보여 눈깜작임이 더 일차적인 필터 역할을 한다고 생각된다. 그리고 우측 후 측두엽은 여러 뇌 부위 중 시각을 조절하는데 가장 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 유추된다.

성격 특성과 이용 동기가 모바일 메신저 그래픽 이모티콘 활용에 미치는 영향: 카카오톡 사례를 중심으로 (The Effects of Personality Traits and Motivations on Utilization of Graphical Emoticon in Mobile Messenger: Focusing on KakaoTalk)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 모바일 메신저 환경에서 어떠한 요인들이 그래픽 이모티콘의 활용 정도에 영향을 미치는 지를 살펴보는 데 있다. 이러한 목적을 바탕으로, 인구통계학적 요인을 포함한 그래픽 이모티콘 활용 정도에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 성격 5 요인 모델 및 이용과 충족 관련 선행 연구들을 중심으로 추출하여, 이들 요인들이 그래픽 이모티콘 활용 정도에 영향을 미치는 가를 실증적으로 확인하였다. 자료는 온라인 서베이를 통해 수집되었으며, 자료의 분석을 위해서 위계적 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구결과, 남성보다는 여성이, 연령이 낮을수록 그래픽 이모티콘 활용도가 높아지는 것으로 드러났다. 개인 성격 측면에서는 외향성이 그래픽 이모티콘 활용 정도를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 효율적인 커뮤니케이션 동기, 유행, 대화의 간결성 동기는 모두 이모티콘의 활용 정도를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과가 지니는 실무적 이론적 함의에 대해서도 논의한다.

컨설팅 기업 조직원의 성격 특성이 셀프리더쉽과 자기효능감을 통해 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (On the Effect of Character Traits of Employees of Consulting Firms on Job Satisfaction Through Self-leadership and Self-efficacy)

  • The objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of character traits of employees of consulting firm on job satisfaction through self-leadership and self-efficacy. The proposed model is based on big5 model of Coasta and McCrae(1992). To validate the proposed model, structural equation model is analyzed with the valid 140 questionnaires collected from Seoul and nearby cities by using Smart PLS 3.0. The results are as follows. First, extraversion has a positive effect on self-leadership, not on self-efficacy. Second, agreeableness has a positive effect on self-leadership, not on self-efficacy. Third, conscientiousness has a positive effect on both self-leadership and self-efficacy. Fourth, emotional stability does not have a positive effect on both self-leadership and self-efficacy. Fifth, openness to experience has a positive effect on both self-leadership and self-efficacy. Sixth, self-leadership has a positive effect on self-efficacy. Seventh, self-leadership has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Last, self-efficacy has a positive effect on job satisfaction. This research proves that, while the character of employees generally forms the meaningful relationship with self-leadership and self-efficacy, in some entries of Big 5 character elements it has still produced the different results with the previous researches, which betrays that the relationship between one's character and self-leadership and self-efficacy can differ according to the characteristic of jobs. It requires further study to prove how each of Big 5 elements differently effects on self-leadership and self-efficacy according to diverse characteristic of jobs.

아이젱크 성격검사와 기질 및 성격검사를 통한 사상체질 특성 연구 (Study on Personality Traits of Sasang Constitution with TCI and EPQ)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to study the personality traits of Sasang constitutions by comparing the profiles of Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ). Methods : A total of 110 healthy people (20 to 40 years old), except for 2 Taeyangin (TY type), were analyzed; 45 Taeeumin (TE type), 32 Soyangin (SY type), and 31 Soeumin (SE type). A Sasang constitutional medicine specialist diagnosed the Sasang constitution after analyzing the result of a Two Step Questionnaire for Sasang Constitution Diagnosis (TS-QSCD), the external appearance, temperament and symptoms. The dimensions of TCI and EPQ were compared among the different Sasang constitutions, using an analysis of variance, and correlations between TCI and EPQ were analyzed by a Pearson correlation method. Results : Among the four temperament dimensions of TCI, SY type showed a significantly higher score than the SE type in Novelty Seeking. SE type showed significantly higher score than TE and SY type in Harm Avoidance. SY type showed significantly higher score than SE type in Reward Dependence. TE and SY type showed significantly higher score than SE type in Persistence. There were no significant differences in the character dimensions of Self-directness, Cooperativeness and Self-Transcendence. Among the seven dimensions of EPQ, TE and SY type showed significantly higher score than SE type in Extraversion. SE type showed significantly higher score than SY type in Lie. SY type showed significantly higher score than TE and SE type in Impulsiveness. Conclusions : The results demonstrated that there are some significant differences of personality traits among Sasang constitutions. This could help diagnose and understand each Sasang constitution.

성격유형과 유발전위 연구 (A Study of Personality type & Evoked Potentials)

  • 최근 뇌 과학의 발달로 심리학의 다양한 이슈들을 뇌과학으로 설명하려는 노력들이 많이 시도되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 성격유형을 뇌과학으로 설명될 수 있는지 시도해보고자 하였다. 성격유형검사 중 MBTI를 토대로 하여 10대 청소년 190명에게 성격유형별 레이븐의 유사도형 구분과제를 실시하였다. 이 때 피험자에게 유발전위 뇌파를 검출하고 통계 분석하여 성격유형별간에 집중력의 차이가 있는지를 알아보았다. 또한 뇌파의 주파수별 분류를 통하여 어느 주파수대가 성격유형별간의 차이가 보이는지 알아보았다. 결론적으로 외향성과 내향성은 유사도형 구분과제를 수행하는 동안 두 집단 간의 집중력 차이가 나타났으며 M-Beta파와 Gamma파 및 H-Beta파에서 두 집단 간 차이가 나타났으며 감각형과 직관형은 쉬운 난이도 과제와 중간 난이도 과제에서 두 집단 간 집중력의 차이가 나타나는 경향성이 보였으며 주파수별 분류에서는 두 집단 간의 차이가 없었다. 사고형과 감정형은 과제를 수행하는 동안 두 집단 간 집중력의 차이가 나타났으며 뇌파 주파수별 분류에서는 H-Beta파에서만 차이가 있었다. 판단형과 인식형은 모든 과제와 주파수별 분류에서도 두 집단 간 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 기존 성격유형과 뇌파연구가 외향성과 내향성에 집중되어 있고 다양한 유형별 연구가 미비하였다. 따라서 난이도가 상, 중, 하의 세 가지로 분류된 유사도형 구분과제를 수행하는 동안 유발전위 뇌파를 통해 뇌파를 분석한 것은 본 연구의 의의라 할 수 있다.

과학 수업에서의 소집단 활동에 대한 학생들의 인식 및 인성과의 관계 (Students' Perceptions on Small Group Activities in Science Classes and the Relationship with Personality)

  • 본 연구에서는 과학 수업에서 소집단 활동에 대한 인식을 조사하고, 소집단 활동에 대한 학생들의 가치 및 태도와 성, 사전 성취 수준, 인성 사이의 관계를 탐색하였다. 과학 시간의 소집단 활동 빈도가 높은 4개 학교에서 226명의 학생들을 연구 대상으로 선정 하였다. 과학 시간에 소집단 구성은 주로 교사에 의해 성적이나 번호, 추첨 등의 방법으로 이루어진다. 학생들은 조편성에 불만을 가진 경우가 많으며, 교우 관계에 의한 조편성을 선호하거나 하나의 소집안에 성적이 고르게 분포되기를 희망하였다. 학생들은 성별이나 성취 수준에 관계없이 소집단 활동에 대해 대체로 긍정적인 인식을 하고 있었으며, 유화성과 외향성이 높을수록 소집단 활동에 대한 가치나 태도가 높았다. 5가지 인성 변인 중 소집단 활동에 대한 가치나 태도를 모두 유의미하게서 설명하는 변인은 유화성으로 나타났다.

MBTI 선호 지표에 따른 대학생의 식행동 및 영양 섭취 상태 평가 (Evaluation of Dietary Behaviors and Nutrient Intakes in University Students according to MBTI Personality Type)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate dietary behavior relative to personality type in young adults, and to offer basic data to apply during nutrition education and counseling. A total of 166 university students performed the MBTI (Mayers-Briggs Type Indicator) test along with questionnaire interviews, and 3 day 24-hr dietary recalls. MBTI personality preferences are presented and separated by 4 types of indices: Extraversion (E) and Introversion (I), Sensing (S) and Intuition (N), Thinking (T) and Feeling (F), and Judgement (J) and Perception (P). More subjects in the I type than the E type had lunch everyday or ate out more than once a week. Compared to the P type, the J type ate a higher proportion of meals with family, and seldom drank alcohol, but a lower proportion had a preference for salty taste. Compared to the N type, the S type had a higher proportion of subjects who consumed large quantities at regular meals as well as when under high amounts of stress. Also, the S type subjects had significantly higher lipid intakes than the N type subjects. Compared to the F type, a higher proportion of the T type subjects ate meals alone but a lower proportion had a dislike for bitter tasting foods. There were no significant differences in total food or energy intakes relative to the different personality types. In conclusion, individual personality type may influence dietary behavior, but additional studies are needed that contain individuals of various ages and include long term dietary surveys.
