웹 카메라와 손을 이용한 마우스 기능의 구현 (Implementation of Mouse Function Using Web Camera and Hand)

  • 본 논문에서는 USB 인터페이스 방식의 웹 카메라를 통해 입력받은 영상을 영상처리 기법을 통해 손의 움직임과 손가락 개수를 파악하여 실시간으로 마우스의 기능을 구현하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 웹 카메라로부터 입력받은 RGB 컬러모델 영상을 조명 변화에 강한 YCbCr 컬러 모델 영상으로 변환하여 휘도 성분을 제외한 색차 성분만으로 피부색을 추출해 이진화된 영상으로 만든다. YCbCr 컬러 모델을 이용하여 피부색을 추출할 경우, 주변 환경에 의해 정확한 손 영역을 추출할 수 없어 라벨링(labeling)과 열림(opening) 연산, 닫힘(closing) 연산을 수행하여 정확한 손 영역을 추출한다. 이렇게 추출된 손 영역의 중심을 이용하여 마우스 포인터를 이동시키며 손가락 개수를 이용하여 마우스의 클릭을 수행하였다. 구현된 제안 기법을 실험한 결과, 마우스 포인터 이동을 위한 기능 성공률은 평균 94.0%, 손가락 개수 인식률은 평균 96.0%로 실용화 가능성을 보였다.

  • 지뢰 탐지 시스템의 성능은 지뢰의 특징을 일관성 있게 추출하는 것에 달려 있다. 그러나 지뢰는 다양한 크기를 가지므로, 지뢰영역을 일관성 있게 표현하기 위한 적절한 윈도우의 크기를 선택하는 것이 중요하다. 기존의 시스템들은 고정된 크기의 윈도우로 특징을 추출하기 때문에, 일관성 있는 지뢰의 특징을 획득할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 지뢰의 크기에 따라 윈도우를 선택하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 시스템에서 획득된 응답신호를 통해 지뢰의 종류를 추정한 후, 이에 따른 윈도우 크기를 선택한다. 제안 기법의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 시뮬레이션 프로그램으로 다양한 토양과 지뢰에 대한 데이터를 생성하였다. 실험 결과 고정 크기의 윈도우를 이용한 시스템의 성능에 비해 제안한 기법을 이용한 시스템의 성능이 2%높은 탐지율을 가지는 것을 확인하였다.

강황(Curcuma longa L.)으로부터 초임계 유체 추출한 curcumin의 생리활성 (Physiological Effects of Curcumin Extracted by Supercritical Fluid from Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.))

  • Curcumin의 추출효율은 에탄을 추출방법이 가장 높았고, 항산화효과는 에탄올, 초임계, 열수 추출물 순으로 나타났다. Ames의 mutagenicity test를 실시한 결과 각각의 추출물은 돌연변이원이 없는 것으로 확인되었고, TA98에 직접변이원 2-NF 처리시 초임계 추출물의 저해율이 20.1%로 에탄올과 열수 추출물에 비하여 가장 높은 항돌연변이 효과를 나타냈다. 또한 간접 변이원 2-acetamidofluorene($10\;{\mu}L/plate$; Sigma Co.; 2-AF)에 대한 항돌연변이 효과를 알아본 결과 2-AF로 유도된 TA98은 초임계 추출물을 0.1 mL/plate로 처리시 항돌연변이의 효과는 12.2%였으며, 알코올 추출물과 열수 추출물의 경우는 항돌연변이 효과가 나타나지 않았다. Nitrite의 분해능의 경우에 있어서도 에탄올 및 열수 추출물에 비하여 초임계 추출물이 높은 분해율을 나타냈으며 pH 1.2에서 가장 높은 분해율을 보였다. 이와 같이 초임계를 이용해 추출한 curcumin은 항산화효과, nitrite 분해능, 항돌연변이효과 등에 대한 생리활성 기능을 보였으며, 기존의 에탄올이나 열수 추출법에 비하여 유사하거나 더 높은 생리활성 효과가 나타나기도 했다.

지상레이다의 PT-파형 수신신호와 항공기 추적정보를 이용한 항공기 도플러 프로파일 추출 (Doppler Profile Extraction to Air-Breathing Targets with PT-Waveform Received Signal and Target Tracking Information on a Ground Radar)

  • 본 논문에서는 지상레이다가 추적 중인 항공기로부터 획득한 수신신호를 이용하여 도플러 형상(signature)을 추출하였다. 이를 위해 펄스열(pulse train) 파형의 수학적 모델로부터 레이다의 도플러 해상도를 검증하고, 비행 중인 항공기 도플러 형상이 엔진에 대한 레이다 측각(aspect angle)과 엔진의 제원에 따라 결정됨을 보였다. 이를 확인하기 위해 비행 중인 항공기에서 반사된 레이다 수신신호를 레이다 수신신호 저장장치를 이용하여 획득하고, 수신신호로부터 도플러 형상을 추출한 후, 항공기 추적 정보로부터 엔진에 대한 레이다 측각을 추정하였다. 이들 결과를 조합하여 측각에 대한 상대 도플러 형상 차이를 확인하고, 레이다에 사용가능한 표적인식용 도플러 프로파일을 제안하였다.

고본(藁本)의 추출용매에 따른 항염, 항산화 및 항균 효과에 대한 비교 연구 (The Comparative Study on Anti-inflammatory Antioxidant and Antibacterial Effects with Regard to the Extraction Solvents of Ligustici Rhizoma)

  • Objective : This study was performed to compare anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation and anti-bacterial effects of Ligustici Rhizoma (LR) extracted with two kinds of solvents, ethanol and distilled water. Methods : It is prepared two kinds of LR extracts 20, 50, 100 ${\mu}l/mg$ by first. MTT assay way to measure cytotoxicity is formed in Raw 264.7 cell. The anti-inflammation effect is measured by ability to inhibit production of NO in Raw 264.7 cell. The anti-oxidation effect was measured by DPPH Radical scavenging ability in HaCaT cell. The anti-bacterial effect was measured by inhibition zone diameter on Propionibacterium acnes. Results : 1. LR (20 ${\mu}l/mg$) extracted with ethanol was showed 80% cytotoxicity, LR (50 ${\mu}l/mg$) extracted with ethanol and LR (20, 50 ${\mu}l/mg$) extracted with water were showed 70% cytotoxicity, LR (100 ${\mu}l/mg$) extracted with ethanol and LR (100 ${\mu}l/mg$) extracted with water were showed 60% cytotoxicity in Raw 264.7 cell. 2. LR (100 ${\mu}l/mg$) extracted with ethanol was showed more significantly inhibitory effect on NO production than the water extraction. 3. Two kinds of LR extraction groups did not show significantly scavenging effect of DPPH radicals. 4. Two kinds of LR extractions did not have a inhibitory effect on Propionibactrium acnes. Conclusion : Two kinds of LR extracts have not cytotoxicity, statistically significant ability to scavenge DPPH radicals and effect to inhibit Propionibactrium acnes. LR extracted with ethanol only have a little effect to inhibit NO production. This study proposes that LR extracted with ethanol is more effective in anti-inflammation.

기체크로마토그래피/동위원소 희석 질량분석법을 이용한 토양 중 폴리브롬화 디페닐에테르의 분석법 (Determination of Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers(PBDEs) in Soil using Gas Chromatography/Isotope Dilution Mass Spectrometry)

  • 본 연구에서는 토양중에 존재하는 폴리브롬화 디페닐에테르 (polybrominated diphenyl ethers, PBDEs)를 동위원소희석법을 이용한 기체크로마토그래피/질량분석기-선택이온검색법에 의해 검출하는 분석방법을 소개하였다. 토양 중 PBDEs는 속실렛 장치로 추출하고 실리카와 플로리실 흡착제를 이용한 고체상 추출법을 비교하였다. 정제 후 추출물은 기체크로마토그래피/질량분석기-선택이온검색방법으로 분석하였으며, 동위원소로 치환된 4종의 PBDEs를 내부표준물질로 이용한 동위원소 희석법으로 8종의 PBDEs를 정량하였다. 속실렛추출 후 플로리실과 실리카 카트리지를 통한 회수율은 각각 30.8~110.8%, 44.4~110.7%이었다. 이 분석법의 검출한계는 0.04~0.3 ng/g로 나타났다.

다중요인 분석에 의한 전탕용수에 따른 현호색 성분의 추출효과 비교 (Influential Characteristics of Decoction Waters on Extraction of Components in Corydalis Tuber Analyzed by Multiple Factor Analysis)

  • The characteristics of decoction water are important for the extraction of herbal drugs. In this study, the relationship between the characteristics of water and extraction efficiency of bioactive compounds from Corydalis tuber was investigated. Six different types of decoction water, including three types of mineral water from Jeju Island and three types of bottled water sold in market, were used as decoction water for the extraction of bioactive compounds from Corydalis tuber. The contents of minerals in six types of water were analyzed by ICP-AES and ICP-MS; the contents of extracted bioactive compounds were analyzed by HPLC. Multivariate analysis of variance was used to analyze the differences in total extraction and bioactive compounds extracted with six types of water. Multiple factor analysis was used to analyze the relationship among the pH, content of mineral, anion, total extractions and content of bioactive components as factors. There was a significant difference among the six types of water in the total extracts and the bioactive compounds. The results proved that the content of extracted compounds from Corydalis tuber was influenced by the types of decoction water.

추출방법에 따른 잎담배 종류별 휘발성 향기성분 특성비교 (Comparison of the volatile flavor compounds in different tobacco types by different extraction methods)

  • Traditional simultaneous distillation extraction(SDE) and solid-phase micro extraction(SPME) methods using GC/MS were compared for their effectiveness in the extraction of volatile flavor compounds from different tobacco leaves types(flue-cured, burley, oriental). The major volatile flavor compounds of flue-cured and burley tobacco were similar such as neophytadiene, solanone, megastigmatrienone isomers, ${\beta}$-damascenone and ${\beta}$-ionone. On the other hand, volatile flavor compounds such as norambreinolide, sclareolide were specifically identified in oriental tobacco. Each method was used to evaluate the responses of some analytes from real samples and standards in order to provide sensitivity comparisons between two techniques. Among three types of SPME fibers such as PDMS(Polydimethylsiloxane), PA(Polyacrylate) and PDMS/DVB (Polydimethylsiloxane/Divinylbenzene) which were investigated to determine the selectivity and adsorption efficiency, PDMS/DVB fiber was selected for the extractions of the volatile flavor compounds due to its effectiveness. The qualitative analysis showed that the total amount of volatile flavor compounds in SDE method(130 species) was much more than that in SPME method(85 species). SPME method was more efficient for all the highly volatile compounds than SDE method, but on the other hand, low-volatile compounds such as fatty acids or high-molecular hydrocabons were detected in SDE method. SPME method based on a short-time sampling can be adjusted to favor a selected group compounds in tobacco. Furthermore this results could be used to estimate the aroma characteristics of cigarette blending by using a different type of tobacco with more effectiveness and convenience.

유화제 첨가 용융압출을 이용한 참당귀 성형체의 페놀성분 나노화 및 용해도 향상 (Enhancement of Solubility and Nanonization of Phenolic Compound in Extrudate from Angelica gigas Nakai by Hot Melt Extrusion using Surfactant)

  • Background: The root of Angelica gigas Nakai is used as a traditional herbal medicine in Korea for the treatment of many diseases. However, the poor water solubility of the active components in A. gigas Nakai is a major obstacle to its bioavailability. Methods and Results: This work aimed at enhancing the solubility of the active compounds of A. gigas Nakai by a chemical (using a surfactant) and physical (hot melt extrusion, HME) crosslinking method. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy revealed multiple peaks in the case of the extrudate solids, attributable to new functional groups including carboxylic acid, alkynes, and benzene derivatives. Differential scanning calorimetry analysis showed that the extrudate soilid had a lower glass transition temperature ($T_g$) and enthalpy (${\Delta}H$) ($T_g:43^{\circ}C$, ${\Delta}H$ : < 6 J/g) as compared to the non-extrudate ($T_g:68.5^{\circ}C$, ${\Delta}H:123.2$) formulations. X-ray powder diffraction analysis revealed the amorphization of crystalline materials in the extrudate solid. In addition, enhanced solubility (53%), nanonization (403 nm), and a higher amount of extracted phenolic compounds were achieved in the extrudate solid than in the non-extrudate (solubility : 36%, nanonization : 1,499 nm) formulation. Among the different extrudates, acetic acid and span 80 mediated formulations showed superior extractions efficiency. Conclusions: HME successfully enhanced the production of amorphous nano dispersions of phenolic compound including decursin from extrudate solid formulations.

단일용기 상아질 접착제 처리 후 레진-상아질 경계면에 대한 투과전자현미경적 연구 (A TEM STUDY OF THE RESIN-DENTIN INTERDIFFUSION ZONE FORMED BY ONE-BOTTLE DENTIN ADHESIVE SYSTEMS)

  • One bottle system was recently developed in order to simplify the clinical skills and save chair time after continuous improvements on dentin bonding agents. There has been many studies to measure the bond strength of one bottle systems but no actual work has been done on micromorphologic study of resin-dentin interdiffusion zone after one bottle system application. To evaluate the bonding patterns of various commercially available one bottle systems to dentin, observation of resin-dentin interdiffusion zone under TEM was performed. Caries-free human third molars within one month of extractions were chosen for the experiments. The molars were sectioned 1mm above the cementoenamel junction and got rid of the root portions. Crown portions of the teeth were sectioned parallel to occlusal surface so that dentin discs of 1mm in thickness were remained. 7 one bottle systems and 1 two bottle system were applied according to manufacturer's instructions and followings were the results. 1. In every experimental groups, cross bandings of collagen fiber were distinguishable and tight bon dings between the bonding agents and dentin were observed. 2. Hybrid layer was clearly observed in ONE-STEP$^{(R)}$, Prime & Bond$^{(R)}$ 2.1, Syntac$^{(R)}$ SC, MAC-BOND II groups but it was not clear in Single Bond, D-Liner Dual PLUS, ONE COAT BOND groups. 3. Electron-density of hybrid layer was uniform in pattern in MAC-BOND II, Prime & Bond$^{(R)}$ 2.1 groups but not so uniform in ONE-STEP$^{(R)}$ group. 4. Electron-dense amorphous phase in most superior layer of the resin-dentin interdiffusion zone was characteristically observed in Single Bond, Syntac$^{(R)}$ SC, ONE COAT BOND groups. It can be concluded that bondings between the dentin bonding agents and dentin can be various in pattern according to their chemical compositions and the condition during applications.
