  • Extending the notion of McCoy rings, we introduce the class of McCoy modules. Over a given ring R, it contains the class of Armendariz modules (over R). Some properties of this class of modules are established, and equivalent conditions for McCoy modules are given. Moreover, we study the relationship between a module and its polynomial module. Several known results relating to McCoy rings can be obtained as corollaries of our results.

  • A module M is called cofinitely closed weak δ-supplemented (briefly δ-ccws-module) if for any cofinite closed submodule N of M has a weak δ-supplement in M. In this paper we investigate the basic properties of δ-ccws modules. In the light of this study, we can list the main facts obtained as following: (1) Any cofinite closed direct summand of a δ-ccws module is also a δ-ccws module; (2) Let R be a left δ-V -ring. Then R is a δ-ccws module iff R is a ccws-module iff R is extending; (3) Any nonsingular homomorphic image of a δ-ccws-module is also a δ-ccws-module; (4) We characterize nonsingular δ-V -rings in which all nonsingular modules are δ-ccws.

  • A language module is the collection of language constructs whose concepts and operations are closely related. This paper demonstrates how to use action semantics to define and extend language modules. We first define a language module for an expression language core, and then language modules for bindings, block structures, parameters, and higher-order expressions. Finally, we show that the language modules can be combined, if there is no violation of uniformity and orthogonality, to become a more complex language module.

  • We investigate modules M having the injective property relative to nonsingular modules. Such modules are called "$\mathcal{N}$-injective modules". It is shown that M is an $\mathcal{N}$-injective R-module if and only if the annihilator of $Z_2(R_R)$ in M is equal to the annihilator of $Z_2(R_R)$ in E(M). Every $\mathcal{N}$-injective R-module is injective precisely when R is a right nonsingular ring. We prove that the endomorphism ring of an $\mathcal{N}$-injective module has a von Neumann regular factor ring. Every (finitely generated, cyclic, free) R-module is $\mathcal{N}$-injective, if and only if $R^{(\mathbb{N})}$ is $\mathcal{N}$-injective, if and only if R is right t-semisimple. The $\mathcal{N}$-injective property is characterized for right extending rings, semilocal rings and rings of finite reduced rank. Using the $\mathcal{N}$-injective property, we determine the rings whose all nonsingular cyclic modules are injective.

  • Renewable energy has become more popular with the increase in the use of solar power. Consequently, the disposal of defective and old solar panels is gradually increasing giving rise to a new problem. Furthermore, the efficiency and power output decreases with aging. Researchers worldwide are engaged in solving this problem by developing eco-module technologies that restore and reuse the solar panels according to the defect types rather than simple disposal. The eco-module technology not only solves the environmental problem, but also has economic advantages, such as extending the module life. Replacement of encapsulants contributes to a major portion of the module maintenance plan, as the degradation of encapsulants accounts for 60% of the problems found in modules over the past years. However, the current International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard testing was designed for the commercialization of solar modules. As the problem caused by long-term use is not considered, this method is not suitable for the quality assurance evaluation of the eco-module. Therefore, to design a new accelerated test, this paper provides an overview of EVA degradation and comparison with the IEC and accelerated tests.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop learning modules for environmental education using goal-based scenarios and to examine their pedagogical benefits at the elementary educational level. To enhance environmental knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior, this research developed learning modules relevant to three sub-dimensions of environmental education: education about environment, education in environment, and education for environment. In particular, this study provided useful educational strategies based on students' everyday lives. The developed modules consisted of three parts: 1) acquiring knowledge concerning the cause of global warming, 2) practicing and internalizing environmental knowledge in students' everyday lives, and 3) extending and disseminating environmental knowledge and awareness to other people. After applying the modules, the students acquired knowledge regarding the causes of global warming through discussions with their peers, and furthermore, exercised pro-environmental behaviors in their everyday lives. Moreover, the participants created UCC to urge other people to act for environment.

  • This paper shows quantitative reliability evaluations of a Bluetooth module through extending previous qualitative methods limited to structure reliability tests and solder joint reliability tests for Bluetooth modules. Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) of the modules using temperature difference in temperature cycling as an accelerated stress was conducted for quantitative reliability evaluation under field environment conditions. Lifetime distribution parameters were estimated using the failure times obtained through the ALT, and then Coffin-Manson model was implemented. Results of the ALT showed that the failure mode of the modules was open and the failure mechanisms are both crack and delamination. The ALT reproduced the failure mode and mechanisms of failed Bluetooth modules collected from the field. Further, a quantitative reliability evaluation method with respect to various temperature differences in temperature cycling was proposed in this paper. $B_{10}$ lifetime of the module for the temperature difference $70^{\circ}C$ using the proposed method would be estimated as about 4 years.

  • The purpose of the research is to analyze the status and problems of the e-Learning quality assurance system on e-Learning contents and service provider(institutes) in the field of enterprise education. In addition, the research is to suggest the direction and strategies for revising and developing the system. The research put emphasis on two systems of the e-Learning quality assurance(contents, service provider) which directly influence financial support of government. This study depended mostly on literature review, supplemented by expert panel meetings. In the case of the quality assurance system on e-Learning contents, the followings are suggested; (1)admitting the contents made of the combination of modules in the approved module set, (2)making easier the qualifying of modified contents for maintenance, (3)revising evaluation criteria, (4)providing substantial feedback. In the field of service provider, the followings are requested; (1)differentiating of qualifying system by industry and scale of company, (2)extending the qualifying cycle, (3)improving the feedback and sharing system.

  • The development of neural networks is evolving towards the adoption of transformer structures with attention modules. Hence, active research focused on extending the concept of lightweight neural network algorithms and hardware acceleration is being conducted for the transition from conventional convolutional neural networks to transformer-based networks. We present a survey of state-of-the-art research on lightweight neural network algorithms and hardware architectures to reduce memory usage and accelerate both inference and training. To describe the corresponding trends, we review recent studies on token pruning, quantization, and architecture tuning for the vision transformer. In addition, we present a hardware architecture that incorporates lightweight algorithms into artificial intelligence processors to accelerate processing.
