This study concentrates on the relationship between the early 20th century italian artists and their works in the field of clothing design. They advocated the creation of art for life and introduced a new type of work of art which I will call 'experimental clothing for art'. The experimental clothing for art showed its dynamic characteristics in the field s of line and form, color, pattern, and material. The Italian artists made simple and functionalistic dresses, using asymmetric, geometric cuts. in pattern making. They employed dynamic patterns in textile design and favored brilliant colors which they debunked as storage and traditional. With regard to material, they used unusual materials such as metal, net, wire, and paper and inexpensive materials. To investigations of the visual expression of experimental clothing for art in Italy have led us to the internal expressions which are avant-garde, dynamic & speed, functionality & popularity, ephemeral & transformable, and warlike. As a result of the reflection of the times and the artists's will and roles the experimental clothing for art in Italy implicated contemporary clothing in the early twentieth century and it was only laboratory art that underwent various experiments in canvas but a model of efforts for the at of living, which was anti-traditional. It offered a new future and created a new environment. It is left for future research how the experimental clothing for art developed in countries other than Italian.

The purpose of this research is to clarify the effect that group art therapy with ceramics affects aggression and impulse for juvenile delinquent. The experimental domain of this study was implemented with 24 juvenile delinquent suspended from protective dispositions for them who were in long-term juvenile sheltered housing about for 12 years. These subjects were selected from among juvenile delinquent between 14 to 20 years age who were entrusted from court to the Juvenile Protection Education Institute located in G area. 12 people were randomly assigned each experimental domain and control domain; experimental group was implemented group art therapy with ceramics whereas there was anything to control group. The program was designed once a week and 90minutes each 12 sessions. The result of this study show that control group at variable related aggression was not significantly changed at posttest. In case of experimental group, here was significantly changed as a whole, also sub factor such as physical aggression showed considerable change so that the first hypothesis was supported In addition, experimental group showed the considerable change at sub factor of motor impulsiveness so that the second hypothesis was supported whereas control group at impulse variable was not significantly changed during pretest and posttest. This study results conclude that the juvenile delinquent participating group art therapy with ceramics represents the effect on reduction of aggression and motor impulsiveness. We expect this result will be used as further base line data for juvenile delinquent.
This study of the effectiveness of various art programs took place in Gwangju with asample of 60 four- to five-year-old children from three kindergartens. The children were assigned to one of three experimental groups : 20 children in the picture book group(experimental group 1), 20 children in the famous paintings group(experimental group 2), and 20 children in the traditional group(control group). Data were analyzed by ANCOVA using the scores of the pre-test as covariance. Results showed that the picture book and the famous painting art programs affected young children's art ability more positively than the traditional art program. The picture book art program showed particularly high educational effectiveness.
This study aimed at examining an effect of a group art treatment program on isolated children's self-concept and adaptation to the school life in an elementary school. To achieve this goal, the two hypotheses were made. Hypothesis 1. Children in the experimental group that participated in the group art treatment program will show more improvement in self-concept than those in the control group. Hypothesis 2. Children in the experimental group that participated in the group art treatment program will show more improvement in the ability to adapt themselves to the school life than those in the control group. To test the hypotheses, the socio-emotional isolation test developed by Heo Seung-hi (1993) was carried out with 120 third-graders at K elementary school in Busan; then, 24 isolated children (12 boys and 12 girls) at the upper 25 percent level were randomly sampled and assigned to each of experimental and control groups. The five-stage art treatment program as a reconstruction of the prior study to meet the goal of this study was provided to children in the experimental group at the researcher's classroom after school for 13 sessions, two sessions per week. The self-concept test manufactured by Song In-seop (1996), the school life adaptation test developed by Lee Yeong-seon (1997), and the experimental group's school life drawing (KSD) were used to test an effect of the program. For data analysis, two methods, a quantitative analysis of two tests and a qualitative analysis of KSD, were used. The findings were as follows: After implementing the art treatment program with the experimental group, there was significant improvement in all areas. This study concluded that if a group art treatment program is applied to elementary school practice, it will help isolated children improve their self-concept and ability to adapt themselves to the school life.
The 20 five-year-old kindergarteners in the experimental group participated in 14 art criticism activities over an 8 week period. Analysis of the data by frequency, percentage, and t-test showed differences between the experimental and control groups. The experimental group improved in Visual Cue-Attendance and Evaluative Judgmental categories. Children in the experimental group also showed higher scores in organization of pictures and materials in their expressive art work. There were no differences between groups in sequence and contents of expression.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of cooking and art activities on cognitive function and depression of dementia patients. Methods: The study was carried out on 34 dementia patients (experimental group: 17 persons, control group: 17 persons) at 65 years old or more who correspond to a total MMSE-M, MMSE-K point between 15 and 23 points instituted in a specialized nursing facility in Busan from November 30, 2007 to February 20, 2008. The study used a nonequivalent pretest-posttest design. In previous survey, the study measured points of general characteristics, cognitive function and melancholy. To the experimental group, cooking art activities were carried out for 90 minutes every time and once every week for 12 weeks. Results: Analysis on data was performed using SPSS/WIN 14.0. In addition $x^2$-test, Fisher's exact test and t-test were used for testing of homogeneity and ANOVA was performed for testing of hypothesis. The results of this study are as follows. 1. Hypothesis 1 that 'The experimental group with cooking art activities will show a higher point of cognitive function than the control group without cooking art activities' was supported (F=65.497, p<0.001). 2. Hypothesis 2 that 'The experimental group with cooking art activities will show a lower point of melancholy than the control group without cooking art activities' was supported. (F=27.463, p<0.001) Conclusions: From the above results, cooking art activities showed a significant difference in the increase in cognitive function and reduction in melancholy of dementia patients.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a group art therapy on decreasing job stress and burnout of clinical oncology nurses. Methods: The study was conducted using a non-equivalent control group, non-synchronized design with repeated measures. A total of 29 clinical oncology nurses participated in the study; 15 were assigned in the experimental group, and 14 in the control group. Data were collected from May to July, 2014. The study questionnaires were administered in three different time points (pretest, 8th week, and 12th week). Data were analyzed using $x^2-test$, Fisher's exact test, t-test, paired t-test, and repeated measures ANOVA. Results: The first hypothesis "the experimental group with group art therapy will have lower job stress than that of the control group" was support (F=7.88, p=.003). The second hypothesis, "the experimental group will have lower burnout than that of the control group" was not statistically supported (F=1.80, p=.188). Conclusion: The findings of the study indicated that the group art therapy for oncology nurses may positively influence in decreasing job stress, which open a venue for developing a nursing intervention with group art therapy for clinical nurses in future.
Historian Eric J. Hobsbawm once said "the task that historians have is to analyze the meanings of the past within the context of society and to track the changes and implementation." It would not be too far of a stretch to apply Hobsbawm's quote to art historian since art history, although quite specific, is still history. In addition, Hobsbaum also asserted that, "a mold called the past continuously forms the present or at least thought to be." It is my recognition that the major westernization of the last century took place under the Japanese colonization which served as the channel to usher in western art; however, the current 20thcentury Korean art history fails to recognize that the mold of the past, namely western art in this case, has formed the modern art of the present. Based on this recognition, attention was given to what lacked in the analysis of the current 20th-century Korean art history in terms of "Informel" which was identified as the turning point towards "modern art" in the Korean art history as well as the following "experimental art." My belief is that the art history of Korea has to be reassessed from, a socio-cultural perspective as well as adopting multi-level and diachronic understanding. However, the existing Korean art, especially the one between the end of 1950s to the 1970s was based on the perspective of "severance"; thus, raising the needs for the starting point of a new perspective. It is my conviction that meta perspective on writing is most essential in order to lay a solid basis for the Korean art scene to have a productive discussion. I feel the utmost necessity to reinterpret the typified history analysis and criticism which stemmed from the trauma under the Japanese colonization. The most urgent task is to avoid academic closeness and to share the research. Painting is an individual expression of the artist, but the act of expression is not free from the cultural and societal influence to which the artist belongs.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of group art therapy on maternal parenting stress and self-efficacy. The subjects of the study included 16 parents of elementary school students who participated in a group art therapy program offered at B Education Center, Pusan. Eight parents who wanted to receive parental education were allocated into an experimental group, While the other eight parents were regarded as the control group. Mothers in the experimental group participated in the group art therapy program which discussed parent education theories. This Program was composed of 17 sessions, performed once a week for one and a half hours. Research tools employed included parent stress test and parent self-efficacy test. The following results were obtained: Group art therapy was found to bring about a statistically significant decrease in parenting stress. Group art therapy was also found to bring about a statistically significant increase in parent self-efficacy. These results suggest that a program which integrates various parents education theories, within a group art therapy setting, can become an effective parent education tool which decreases maternal parenting stress and increases parent self efficacy.
Purpose - Recently, many theoretical researches suggested that arts-based marketing strategies provide many benefits for marketers to differentiate their brand or product from others. However, there has been little research focusing on consumers' response types from artwork (artifact-emotion appraisal; A-emotion vs. represented world-emotion appraisal; R-emotion). In order to deepen our understanding of arts-based marketing strategies, we addressed a research question related to how artwork-provoked consumers' emotional response can impact the perceived evaluation of art infused products. Research design, data, and methodology - To answer the research question, we conducted a pretest and one experimental study. The experimental study was 2(art-provoked response type: A-emotion vs. R-emotion) by 2(emotional valence: positive vs. negative) by 2(produce type: hedonic vs. utilitarian) mixed design. The art-provoked response type and emotional valence were between-subject design and product type was within subject design. For the experimental study, 108 undergraduate students and graduate students were randomly assigned to one of 4 conditions (A-emotion-positive, A-emotion-negative, R-emotion-positive, R-emotion-negative). Participants reported their evaluation of art-infused product and other items for a manipulation check. Results - The major results from the experimental study are as follow. First, participant's art-provoked response type influenced evaluation of art infused products differently. More specifically, the effect of emotional valence of artwork on product evaluation was not significant in A-emotion. However, in R-emotion, relative to the product with artwork provoked negative emotional valence, the product with artwork provoked positive emotional valence elicited significantly higher product evaluation. Second, product type also affected the art infusion effect significantly. Particularly, the differential effect of participant's art-provoked response type on product evaluation revealed when it is for a utilitarian product, but not for a hedonic product. Conclusions - Theoretically, the findings of this study expand academic research on art infusion. And the findings also can be extrapolated to generate lots of implication for marketers. In sum, when they plan art marketing strategies to build the favorable relationship with their customers, they need to consider customers' response type of an infused art and product type.
