In these days the global software market is experiencing diastrophism due to globalization, convergence, and the spread of web 2.0. In particular, today"s global economy has entered the so-called "Globalization 3.0" era, and the world is evolving into a flat world where labor, capital, and resources are moving freely. In this rapidly changing global economy, the growth of the Korean economy is in a state of continuous decline. Particularly software industry is also suffering continuously slow growth due to market saturation and low service earning, which require urgent countermeasures. Therefore, the purpose of this study is: 1) to analyze the current industrial condition of the software industry, which have special characteristics differ from manufacturing industry; and 2) to analyze the major obstacles of local companies working in the software industry in order to cope with the recent changes in the global market environment and 3) to draw out the strategy for the domestic software industry in gangwon province in order to promote local software industry and to achieve globalization.

Over the years, the recovery of the domestic construction market, which does not appear on the reverse, but rather due to a surge of construction materials cost of the construction sector is experiencing greater difficulties. Cement raw materials in the manufacturing process, if some of the waste recycling, cites quality control for products and measures for the thorough management is needed. In this study, three companies of the past four years in the production of cement against doejin physical performance test results conducted yearly and seasonal trends by analyzing changes in the years to review the cement for cement to utilize as a basis for management points is.

Officers and ratings as a group might show differences in some aspects of personality , human relations, job attitudes, perception of business environment and surrounding organizational structure. It has been traditionally believed that licenced-officers are required to have nicely-paired leadership and dignity , and ratings obedience in maritime field. This survey revealed that officers and ratings have some differences in the actual behavior, knowledge , understanding attitude etc., In summary , officers as a superstructure of merchant ship's orgnaization are different, to some degree, from ratings as an infrastructure in several aspects. Officers are believed to have the characteristics of maturity by taking concern of business environment , social circumstance away from the vessels which they are on board. In contrast, ratings are greatly interested in the surrounding environment associated with themselves, and also experiencing alienation and technology.

As number of new housing construction has been growing, the increasing number of people experiencing from Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) is distinct. The purpose of this study is to examine the symptoms reported by residents responses to cope with the syndrome and to investigate their environmental characteristics considered relevant to the syndrome. Respondents were housewives living in apartments and were more likely to stay at home. 170 data were collected by both web-based internet survey and conventional questionnaire survey. The findings revealed that the symptom appeared very diverse and composite. The most common symptom was eye irritation. Among diverse coping behaviors, ventilation was most popular.

This study qualitatively investigates the nature of the challenges that a student who is highly successful in mathematics faces in learning college-level elementary statistics. The study draws on the constructs of eagerness, flexibility and willingness to characterize the necessary disposition for critical thinking that is essential in learning statistics. The case study is based on data collected through a survey assessment and a follow-up interview with a mathematics major enrolled in an elementary college statistics course at the time of the study. The qualitative analysis relies on the student's verbal descriptions of the challenges he was experiencing in the course. The findings suggest that while his strong inclination towards inquisitive learning and strong understanding of mathematical concepts supported this student's mathematics learning, the same characteristics might have been causing him difficulties in learning college-level elementary statistics.

A Real Time Mode Selecting Stochastic Controller (RTMSSC) is developed as a new control strategy for a vibrating system under irregular disturbance. Displacement information and frequency characteristics obtained from me::id analysis of the system are used to design a Mode Selecting Controller. This Paper explains design technique of RTNSSC by applying it to the suppression of a flexible beam experiencing random vibration. The RTMSSC is designed by stochastic control from the modal information. The frequency information of the flexible system is utilized from the Mode Selecting Unit (MSU) based on a Fast-Fourier Transformation algorithm. The performance of the proposed technique, RTMSSC, is compared with that of Real Time Stochastic Controller developed recently, which show quite promising results.

This study was to provide the basis for the development of family life education programs for caregiving families. The data were collected from 374 adult children who were giving care to their older parents in Seoul. Adult children reported experiencing more caregiving problems in the areas of personlities of older parents psychological burden and parents' health than in the areas of caregiver's health and financial burden Women were more likely to experience caregiving problems than men. Adult children indicated higher levels of perceived knowledge on planning for later life psychological characteristics of older parents and keeping good relationships with older parents. They reported more need for knowledge on physical change of older parents and planning for later life while there were less need for knowledge on sharing caregiving roles with others and social service programs. The needs for caregiving education were also identified in the aspects as to participation purposes methods times and agencies. Given these findings this study suggests some practical implications for the development of family life education programs for caregiving families. Further studies should help to advance the development and practice of family life education programs for caregiving families.

The purpose of this study is to investigate preferences of middle-aged people for elderly housing in order to properly plan elderly housing; 1 ) To analyze the middle-aged peoples' preferences for elderly housing in each situation based on the following 4 categories; elderly couple/healthy, elderly couple/unhealthy, elderly living alone/healthy, elderly living alone/unhealthy. 2) To clarify the differences in preferences for elderly housing according to the subjects' backgrounds in each case. This research intends to understand the form of elderly housing and desire for the environment of subjects, middle-age, who will be old aged, and the change of preference to characteristics for elderly housing according to the change of situation. The data were collected through structured questionnaires. The subject were 298 middle-aged, 40-50's who will be experiencing aging, major customer of elderly housing in the future.

Using survey data from 323 families headed by the unemployed this study investigated the characteristics of the current living status and their coping strategies according to their job status(blue or white color) Descriptive statistics t-test and chi-square test were used to analyze the data. The results revealed that families headed by the unemployed have been experiencing economic hardship hardship in housing and problems of family functoning as well as decreased level of living. The effects of unemployment were various depending upon the job type of head of the family. The family utilized several positive coping strategies to reduce financial hardships of the family Discussions and recommendations for the future research and practical welfare policy implication s for the families are identified.

This experimental study investigates the hysterestic behavior of traditional timber frames subjected to lateral loads. Prototype frames for this study were selected from one of typical national treasures for timber structures in Korea. For simplicity roof structures and braket systems were excluded from specimens and the joint behavior of beam-to-column system were presumed to have crucial effect on their global behavior. The experimental observation showed stiffness degradation and slip after experiencing initial yield and the first cycle at a new larger displacement due to inherent gaps in traditional timber connection and gradual indentation of interfaces, The cyclic behaviors of all specimens were similar to those os modern timber frames with bolt and nail connections. Additional structural members such as an upper beam and clay-filled wall increased the initial stiffness strength and energy dissipation. It is expected that collapse of Korean traditional timber frames under lateral load is mainly caused from P-$\Delta$ effects rather than local member failure.
