퇴직 특정직 경호공무원의 재취업에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 탐색적 연구 (Exploratory study on impacting elements on retired special security government official's reemployment)

  • 우리나라 퇴직 특정직 경호공무원들의 재취업에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 탐색적 연구를 위해 20년 이상 근무하고 퇴직한 경력자와 취업지원 및 컨설팅업체 담당자에 대한 인터뷰 면접을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 재취업 기회 및 정보의 절대 부족과 취업분야와 수요기관 요구 수준과 현 직위, 보수와 불일치, 경험과 전문성 부족, 취업지원 및 교육프로그램 부재 등을 들 수 있다. 둘째, 취업대상자들의 눈높이가 높고 정규직이나 장기간 근무할 수 있는 신분이 보장되는 직업을 선호하는 것으로 나타나 재취업이 어렵다는 점이다. 셋째는 재취업에 대한 의식과 준비가 미흡하거나 자력으로 취업하기 보다는 기관에 너무 의존하거나 다양한 기업이나 분야에 진출하는데 필요한 경력 및 자격의 제한 등이 가장 큰 장애요인으로 작용하고 있다는 점이다. 마지막으로 재취업에 있어서 사회적 네트워크 및 인맥의 중요성 인식과 함께 취업에 도움이 될 만한 개인의 사회적 자본 활용의 규모가 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 나타난 분석결과를 토대로 성공적인 재취업을 지원하는데 적극 반영할 필요가 있다.

자녀출산 전후의 부모들을 위한 양육여건 및 부모교육 실태 조사 - 대전광역시를 중심으로- (A Survey on Child Rearing Conditions and Parent Education for Parents before and after Childbirth)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain a fundamental data for developing a policy concerning women and child rearing and a parent education program for young parents who are around their childbirth, a period crucially important both for the parents in terms of the role adjustment, career management, and family finance, and for the infants in terms of its physical and psychological well-being. The subjects were 509 mothers before and after childbirth currently living in the Metropolitan City of Daejeon. Data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews in two major areas of pregnancy-delivery-childcare and parent education. Data were analyzed using SAS, mostly through frequency analysis, percentiles, t-tests, and F-tests. Results of descriptive analyses were organized along the following areas and issues: Pregnancy(family planning, regular check-ups, difficulties, prenatal education, costs, etc.); delivery(type of delivery, delivery related experience, costs, clinic/medical institute of choice, worries/problems, help/supports, etc.); postpartum care(place, kinds of help and helper, costs, postpartum care facilities, etc.); childcare circumstances(place, carer, time schedules, childcare centers or facilities feeding and weaning, etc.); husband's attitudes and involvement in the overall process; working mothers(maternity leave, temporary retirement for child rearing, etc.); and, parent education(family planning, pregnancy, delivery, postpartum care, child rearing, areas or issues needing parent education, facilitative and hindering factors to ideal parenting, etc.). Differences between groups of pregnant mothers and postpartum mothers, working- and non-working mothers, groups of different income levels, mothers and fathers of different educational levels, mothers of first pregnancy(or childbirth) and experienced mothers were also analyzed. Several conclusions with suggestions were drawn in relation to the need for strong implementation as well as developing of policies on women and childcare and for developing a new parent education program for parents before and after childbirth.

빅데이터 분류 기법에 따른 벤처 기업의 성장 단계별 차이 분석 (The Difference Analysis between Maturity Stages of Venture Firms by Classification Techniques of Big Data)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the maturity stages of venture firms through classification analysis, which is widely used as a big data technique. Venture companies should develop a competitive advantage in the market. And the maturity stage of a company can be classified into five stages. I will analyze a difference in the growth stage of venture firms between the survey response and the statistical classification methods. The firm growth level distinguished five stages and was divided into the period of start-up and declines. A classification method of big data uses popularly k-mean cluster analysis, hierarchical cluster analysis, artificial neural network, and decision tree analysis. I used variables that asset increase, capital increase, sales increase, operating profit increase, R&D investment increase, operation period and retirement number. The research results, each big data analysis technique showed a large difference of samples sized in the group. In particular, the decision tree and neural networks' methods were classified as three groups rather than five groups. The groups size of all classification analysis was all different by the big data analysis methods. Furthermore, according to the variables' selection and the sample size may be dissimilar results. Also, each classed group showed a number of competitive differences. The research implication is that an analysts need to interpret statistics through management theory in order to interpret classification of big data results correctly. In addition, the choice of classification analysis should be determined by considering not only management theory but also practical experience. Finally, the growth of venture firms needs to be examined by time-series analysis and closely monitored by individual firms. And, future research will need to include significant variables of the company's maturity stages.

생활시설 종사자가 경험한 남성노인의 성적욕구 표출에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sexual Desire Outburst of the Male Elderly Residents Experienced by the Workers in Living Facilities)

  • This study has been performed to explore verbal and behavioral expression of sexual desires among male elderly residents who have been living in long tenn care facilities. There are three topics covered in this study; first, in what situations and how seriously do care workers encounter expression of sexual desires of the elderly residents? Second, what kind of negative consequences do they believe those sexual behaviors will lead to? Third, how can we implement defensive measures against the sexual behaviors? In this study, twenty three care workers working full time in five retirement and care facilities were asked about their experience and perception of the above study agendas, and answers of the qualitative interview were drawn as follow; first, the elderly residents apparently show a variety of sexual harassment and provoking behaviors such as sticking to specific women, physically touching and attacking, and induce obscenely activities against female residents, care workers, and volunteer visitors. Second, their sexual behaviors are often influenced by their isolated and abandoned emotionality as well as living situation in rural areas. Third, their sexual behaviors often critically affect care work plan and facility managements by severely discouraging female care givers and community supporters. Therefore in this study, suggestions and defensive measures were made as follows: first, education and counselling programs toward female workers and volunteers need to be developed, and the programs should cover psychological and behavioral mechanism of sexuality in later life. Second, self control plans need to be empowered toward the elderly residents; in the plans, the elderly residents shall be encouraged to evaluate primary cause and proper solutions of sexual behaviors of their peering residents. Third, combination of healthy housing and care facilities for frail elderly need to be integrated in a neighboring location, so that when residents and workers encounter extreme episodes of sexuality of healthy residents in a housing facility, the problematic sexual residents are partially transferred into a neighboring care facility and thereafter other residents and cafe givers are relieved from stressful contacts with the extremely sexual residents.

산업간호사의 근무조건 실태 분석 (Working Conditions of Occupational Health Nurses in Korea)

  • Purpose: The aim of the study was to investigate the working condition of occupational health nurses and analyze change pattern of working condition compared to 10 years ago. Method: A questionnaire was measured to 431 occupational health nurses attending the training program held by the Korean Association of Occupational Health Nurses during the period from June 2005 through November 2005. Results: The number of respondents aged 30 years or older and those who are married increased, compared their counterparts found in the earlier study conducted in 1996. Respondents with a college degree accounted for 13.5% in the earlier study, but respondents with a college degree increased to 38.0% in the study. Those with more than 10 years of work experience also increased. Employment type of respondents divided into permanent employment(56.3%) and contract-based employment(41.1%), compared with permanent employment(66.4%) and contract-based employment(32.0%) found in the earlier study. Of total respondents, 91.1% said their retirement age was 55 years or above, and the ratio is higher than that found in the earlier study. Conclusion: The study revealed that the working condition for occupational health nurses especially career recognition, employment type and promotion system were getting worse. It is therefore necessary to implement measures to improve those conditions.

집단 내의 지식 정보 전수 방법의 설계 (Design of Knowledge Information Transfer Method in Groups)

  • 최근 지식을 관리하는 방법으로서 경험이나 사례로부터 도출된 여러 가지 방법이 제안되고 있다. 그러나 이들 방법의 대부분은 성공 사례만 보고되고 있을 뿐 그 효과는 정량적으로 실증되지 않고 있다. 논문에서는 집단 내에서 지식 전수의 방법을 제안함으로써 지식 관리의 효과를 검토하고자 하며, 집단 내에서 지식이 전수되어 가고 있는 모습을 다수 대리인 시뮬레이션에 의하여 표현한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 지식 데이터베이스와 지식 관리를 도입함으로써 집단 전체의 실적이 향상되는 것이 확인되었다. 한, 본 방법을 이용하여 사회적 쟁점을 표현한 결과, 집단 전체의 경험 지식을 잃게 되는 것을 확인하였다. 대책으로서 지식 데이터베이스의 도입, 지식 관리자의 도입, 정년의 연장, 중도 채용을 증가시킨 결과, 그 중에서 지식 데이터베이스와 지식 관리자를 도입하는 것이 효과적이라는 것이 확인되었다.

프로젝트법을 활용하는 프로그래밍분야 직업능력개발훈련교사의 직업정체성 내러티브 연구 (A Narrative Research on Occupational Identity of a TVET Teacher Using the Project Method in Programming Fields)

  • 본 논문은 그 동안 연구되지 않았던 프로그래밍 직업능력개발훈련교사의 직업정체성에 대하여 탐구하고자 하였다. 내러티브 인터뷰 방식을 활용하여 프로젝트법으로 강의하는 교사가 어떠한 직업정체성을 가지는지 연구했다. 연구 참여자인 S교사는 대학에서 시간 강사로 시작하여 지난 20 여 년간 프로그램을 강의해왔다. 연구결과로 프로젝트법으로 강의하는 프로그래밍 교사의 직업정체성은 여섯 가지가 발견되었다. S교사는 프로젝트법을 통하여 강의할 때 학생들이 실업자에서 전문 직업인이 되는 행동 변화를 경험하며 교사로서 자긍심과 뿌듯함을 느꼈다. 프로젝트법은 S교사를 전문가로 이끌도록 지속적인 자기계발의 동기로 작용하였다. 긍정적 교사로서의 강화 경험이 그로 하여금 정년퇴직의 시기가 지났어도 건강이 허락하는 한 이 삶을 유지하며 교사로서 살아내고 싶다는 소망을 갖게 하였다. 업무강도가 다른 직업에 비하여 녹록치 않음에도 불구하고 S교사에게 보이는 것은 '번아웃', 소진이 아닌 생동감, 자신감, 만족감이다. 본 논문은 프로젝트법을 교수법으로 채택한 프로그래밍분야 직업능력개발훈련교사의 직업정체성을 분석하고 그 의미를 살펴보고자 하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영국의 연금개혁 : 공.사 협력관계의 재구축 (Reforms of the British Pension System : Reestablsihment of the Public-private Partnership)

  • This paper analyses the proposals contained in the British Government Green Paper, A New Contract for Welfare: Partnership in Pensions for low paid workers and the potential of the new rules to guarantee a decent income in old age. The UK pension system is a partnership between the State(providing the basic state pension and the SERPS), employers(providing occupational pension scheme) and private pension providers(providing personal pensions). Although the system needs to change, this partnership remains the right foundation. However, the pension Green Paper proposes substantial changes to second tier pension provision in the UK. In particular, the Government plans to replace the SERPS with a new State Second Pension. According to the Green Paper, this will result in "dramatically better pension provision for those earning less than ${\pounds}9,000$ a year" and through increased payments to private pension schemes, will also provide "extra help to those on middle incomes(${\pounds}9,000-{\pounds}18,500$ a year). Therefore, it discusses the general principles inherent in the design of the British pension system and analyses the balance of these principles is represented in the Green Paper. The paper then examines how the Government's proposals protect individuals from a means-tested old age. This paper finds that the Green paper's proposals add up to reinventing a new two-stage basic pension. However, two key features of a such a basic pension package are missing- an 'adequate' level of payment and comprehensive entitlement. Because of these missing principles we argue that the Green Paper's proposals incorporate for the low paid. The income from the basic pension and the secondary pension which is so near the means-tested minimum that little is gained in retirement from a lifetime of work and contribution. Indeed, the shift away from collective provision and the emphasis on individual responsibility will reinforce this inequality, so that many poor will continue to experience poverty in later life.

한국 고령남성의 베트남 이주경험에 관한 질적사례연구 (A Qualitative case study on the experiences of emigration to Vietnam for Korean older males)

  • 본 연구는 베트남에 거주하고 있는 한국 고령남성의 이주경험을 이해하기 위한 기술적 성격의 질적사례연구이다. 구체적인 연구질문은 다음과 같다. ① 베트남 이주로 인해 개별 사례가 무엇을 경험하는가?, ② 베트남 이주가 사례에게 어떤 의미인가? ③ 고령남성의 베트남 이주의 상황적 맥락이 가지는 의미가 무엇인가? 이를 탐색하기 위해 7명의 연구참여자에게 11개월에 걸쳐 심층면접을 중심으로 다각도의 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 사례 내 분석과 사례 간 분석을 통해 주요 내용을 파악하였고, 이야기 재구성을 통해 분절된 의미들을 맥락을 고려하여 재기술하였다. 개별사례를 관통하는 주제들로는 '이주동기와 배경', '문화적응', '사회적 관계망', '일의 의미', '가족', '영성과 삶의 태도', '죽음에 대한 인식'으로 나타났다. 결론에서 연구결과를 요약하고, 연구의 함의 및 제한점, 후속 연구에 대해 제언하였다.

나눔숲 걷기 프로그램이 농촌 지역사회 독거노인의 자아존중감, 생활만족감 및 우울감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Shared Forest Walking Programs on Self-Esteem, Life Satisfaction, and Depression of Older Individuals Living Alone in Rural Communities)

  • Purpose: This study aims to develop a shared forest walking program and verify its effects on self-esteem, life satisfaction, and depression among older adults living alone in rural communities. Methods: Participants were assigned to an experimental or a control group, with 20 participants each. Data collected during August 1~3, 2022, before the program, and October 29~31, 2022, after the program. In this study, the shared forest walking program was conducted twice a week for a total of 24 sessions, with each session lasting one hour. All data were analyzed using SPSS version 18.0, x2 tests, and t-tests. Results: The experimental group participating in the sharing forest walking program showed higher self-esteem and life satisfaction than the control group, along with a decrease in depression. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences in self-esteem (t=5.97, p<.001), life satisfaction (t=7.78, p<.001), and depression (t=-7.58, p<.001). Conclusion: The shared forest walking program, developed based on the results of this study, improved self-esteem and; life satisfaction; and reduced depression among older adults living alone in rural communities. We propose the development of a continuous program to assist older adults living alone in underprivileged rural areas to experience retirement with reduced depression, increased self-esteem, and enhanced life satisfaction.
