A Study on the Shoplifting Behavior and Its Influencing Factors in the Retail Shop (소매점내 상점절도 행위와 그 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently as the economic circumstances have been getting worse, livelihood crimes like shoplifting have occurred considerably frequently. Shoplifting is the stealing behavior occurred in the retail shop such as department store, discount store, supermarket. Though there is economic and social risk of shoplifting, academic research of shoplifting has implemented scarcely. This study analyzes the shoplifting behavior in the retail store and its influencing factors, and aims to provide background of academic research of this field. So this study will give practical implication to reduce or prevent shoplifting behavior. As a result of this study, friend relationship and compulsive buying disposition influence the attitude of shoplifting behavior. But economic motive, stimulus pursuit disposition, and experience motive do not influence the attitude of shoplifting behavior. Finally to reduce or prevent shoplifting behavior, this study suggests the implications of this study and further research agenda.

The Relationships of Home Environment and Personal factors to Children's Prosocial behaviors : Analysis of sex & age (가정환경적 변인 및 아동개인적 변인과 친사회적 행동간의 관계 : 성과 연령에 따른 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships of home environments, personal factors on prosocial behaviors through analysis on children's sex and age. The data were collected by questionnaire method from 190 elementary school and 102 middle school children in Pusan. The instruments used are the child's prosocial behavior test on the basis of the self report scale by Yang, Jean Sook(1991). Frequency and regression analysis were applied for data analyses. The main results of the study were as follows; (1) Prosocial behaviors were directly influenced by home environments and personal factors on children's prosocial behaviors. Personal factors were stronger than home environments in influencing on children's prosocial behaviors. (2) Girl's prosocial behaviors were influenced by home economic level, parent's educational level, leaderships, the sphere of peer relations, popularity, prosocial behavior experience and maturity of prosocial motive. Boy's prosocial behaviors were influenced by leaderships, the sphere of peer relations, popularity, prosocial behavior experience and maturity of prosocial motive. (3) The effects of home environments and personal factors for prosocial behavior differed accoring to children's age. The more children aged, the less home environment & effective factors influenced.

The Study on Job Satisfaction of Care Helpers (요양보호사의 직무만족도에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate Job Satisfaction of Care Helpers. Method: Subjects included 306 Care Helpers. working at geriatric care facilities; these data were collected from May 4 to May 15, 2012. The SPSS WIN 12.0 program was used for statistical analysis of collected data, including actual number, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA, and Cronbach alpha coefficient. Results: 1. The average Job satisfaction was 3.76 and the average of each job satisfaction was the task (3.83), co-worker (2.23), and job turn over (2.25). 2. The satisfaction of the job itself, depending on back ground, had a significantly effect on age, protective person for a day, duty pattern, contract pattern, and motive. 3. The job satisfaction of human relationships, depending on their back ground, had a significant effect on degree, care-giving experience, duty place, protective person for a day, duty pattern, contract pattern, and duty motive. 4. The Job satisfaction of job turn over, depending on back ground had an. effect on job satisfaction statistically: age, degree, duty place, protective person for a day, duty pattern, and motive. Conclusion: These results found showed to contribute to job satisfaction of care helpers.

The Influence of shopping Motives and Service Quality Perception on Customers′ Emotional Responses and Fashion Store Satisfaction (쇼핑동기와 서비스품질 지각이 고객의 감정적 반음과 패션점포 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study attempts to understand how the perception of service quality as well as shopping motives influence on the emotional responses in store shopping, and to examine how these relevant variables influence on the store satisfaction. The 463 questionnaires were collected from the purchasers in department stores, fashion specialty stores, and national brand franchise stores. The results of this study are as fellows: 1. In regard to shopping motives, two dimensions of product motive and experiential motive were identified, explaining 47.39% of shopping motives. 2. In regard to emotional response, two dimensions of pleasure emotion and displeasure emotion were identified, explaining 65.95% of emotional responses. 3. Shopping motives led to the store satisfaction after the perception of service quality and then the experience of pleasure emotion. These related variables explained 60% of the store satisfaction. 4. The consumers of fashion specialty store showed the highest product motive, whereas the consumers of department stores showed the highest displeasure emotion in the store. As the results showed, customers' shopping motives influence their perception of service quality and pleasure emotion. Therefore, in order to stimulate shopping motives, the store environment that can give customers pleasure and opportunity to pursue various experiences should be provided. As the service quality is a very important variable that leads pleasure emotion in the store, sales persons should be trained to satisfy customers.

  • The Influences of the Ecotourism Motive, on the Attitude, Resource Interpretation and Satisfaction of Tourist Ecotourism has been recently introduced to maintain the relation of mutual dependence between the tourism and the natural environment. However it is adversely used and creates the destruction of ecosystem. It is Important that the ecotourism is a tourism which tourists can experience and enjoy themselves on site rather than a tourism which they only see and hear, understand. It is assumed that a method should be found to maximize toursist' satisfaction and that the presentation of interpretation of the tourism resource may satisfy the tourist's satisfaction. The results offer the suggestion points as follows. 1. By providing the interpretation of tourism resource as well as the recreational object, the ecotourism can be activated with a sound recognition of nature and the reservation of environment, and furthermore, the development policy may be based on not only the area of ecotourism but also all of the tour area. 2. By providing the interpretation service of tourism resource for tourists, the satisfaction can be maximized by the high cognition of tourist. 3. By providing the information about the tourism destination and resource, it will contribute to the side of education, it will contribute the preservation of resource and the reservation of environment.   • Today, seaside village has been met with much difficulty from aggravation of fishing conditions including decrease of fishery resources, marine products market opening, reduction of coastal fishing ground. Thus, seaside village tourism can become an useful alternative to revitalize the local community. This study deals with on the tourism activities based on motive of tourist to Seaside Villages in Jeju Island. And it will be find out though the cross analysis of tourism motivation factors and tourism activities factors. With 298 effective responses gathered from an on-site survey. The statistical analysis of the data was conducted using techniques of frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, and canonical analysis. The tourism motivation and activities were conformed by Chi-Square Analysis and ANOVA analysis. For the growth of seaside village, many tourist must visit four seasons and tourism facilities and programs will be develop as seaside village experience activities, marine leisure activities, and circumference inquiry activities.

A Comparative Study on Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction between Nurses in ICU and Nurses in General Ward (중환자실 간호사와 일반병동 간호사의 역할갈등과 직무만족도 비교연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify and compare role conflict and job satisfaction between nurses in ICU and nurses in general ward. Method: The subjects of this study consisted of 141 nurses employed at ICU and 201 nurses employed at general ward, who were recruited from 5 university hospitals with 500 beds located in Seoul and Gyeonggido. The instruments included role conflict scale developed by Kim and Park(1995) and job satisfaction scale translated and modified by Lee(1996). The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 10.0 program for descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient. Result: In the two groups, there was a inverse correlation between role conflict and job satisfaction. In ICU, nurses' role conflict levels differed significantly depending on religion(p<.05), total experience(p<.05), scheduled to work as a nurse(p<.05). And nurses' job satisfaction levels differed significantly depending on total experience(p<.05), working period in current post(p<.001), scheduled to work as a nurse(p<.001), motive of choosing the nursing science(p<.01), and job satisfaction(p<.001). In general ward, nurses' job satisfaction levels differed significantly depending on marital status(p<.05), educational level(p<.01), total experience(p<.001), motive of choosing the nursing science(p<.01), and job satisfaction(p<.001). Conclusion: Summing up, the nurses at ICU showed higher level of role conflict than the nurses ay general ward. Therefore, it is needed to decrease the level of nurse's role conflict and improve their job satisfaction in ICU.

  • Purpose: The career education of the college student needs a new awareness. This research provides fundamental data from analyzing necessities of student's career education according to plans of a career education. Methods: Make use of SAS 8.0 of windows and descriptive statistics analysis on investigate Dental Technology 570 students in Daegu. And also it analyzes difference of ispectable t-test and ANOVA. Results: According to a gender, a job experience, where they are come from, there is a meaningful difference of an information and an entrance motive for choosing a major (<.05). The time of choosing the major are different meaningfully (<.001). An awareness about the method of a career achievement is a meaningful difference between men and women(<.05). As getting old, the method of a career achievement is higher and there are meaningful differences according to a grade, job experience and a entrance screening(<.01). In accordance with a gender, a grade, entrance screening, there are meaningful differences of a degree for obtaining the career information activities(<.01). In accordance with an age, when they choose a major, there is a difference(<.001). In accordance with a gender and a age, there are meaningful differences of a career plan(<.001). The age difference is slight. In accordance with a gender and a age, there are meaningful differences how to effort for the career(<.001), and also according to an entrance screening, an entrance motive(<.05). These mean that the first priority for choosing the career and going into the world is a school record. There are meaningful differences of people that the student choose for consulting the career(<.01). According to the job experience there are meaningful differences(<.001). Conclusion: By investigating and analysing the student's career plan, we need to seek how students choose their career reasonably and desirably. And also we need to teach a career education systematically.

A exploratory study on Segmentation of Internet Clothing Buyer - Focusing Buying Motives (인터넷 의류 상품 구매자의 유형화에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 구매 동기를 중심으로)

  • This study is intended to help internet marketers by trying to segment consumer who had experience in buying clothing in internet shopping-malls. Concrete purpose of this study was 1)to segment by Buying Motives of Internet Clothing Buyer, 2) to identify demographic traits of segmented groups and 3) to identify buying behavior traits, internet shopping-mall choice criteria of segmented groups. The data of 500 respondents were collected by questionnaires in internet survey site. The results were as follows : 1) 5 factors; convenience, informational, hedonic, economic, easiness of refund were revealed by factor analysis, 2) 3 group types by buying motives; information-oriented, hedonic, convenience-oriented were identified by cluster analysis, 3) 3 groups were different in demographic traits, 4) goal-directed/experience-directed behavior and shopping-mall choice criteria of three groups were different. And then marketing implications were discussed.

  • The Purposes of this article are to find Christian religion and Germany expressionism which were background of Nolde's art and analyze formation and special quality, expression mode of holy picture. If synthesize contents of these analysis, we could know that faith is giving religious inspiration continuously during his lift to Protestant experience through the Bible. Though there is some difference by time but we could foretell that he accomplished modern holy picture of new sensitivity by doing individual expression with equal Bible subject traditionally in 20th century that change unlike existent holy picture with these motive power. That is, with new trend which religious inspiration as imagination which spring up in experience that is not experience of artificial Christian religion is then expressionism various that historically, he accomplished unique holy picture to related each other with the historic event.
