The purpose of this study is to examine the innovative and experimental housing design alternatives in the transition period to the modern era and to discuss about the motivation of modern architectural form. Thus, first, this study examined the planning concepts and the meaning of new design of the four Werkbund dwelling Exhibitions in eastern Europe reflecting the demands of modern times. Second, I analyzed how the formative experiment appeared as a stereoscopic mass design and as a architectural composition in exterior. Experimental trials at housing exhibitions were to respond to the demands for the new forms, which required a new approach to modern style and aesthetics. The major features of formative experiments can be summarized as follows. First, new housing design have escaped from the historically descended style. Secondly, through the operation of volume and surface modern dwelling created a formative conformation. Finally, the shape and the surface replaced the decoration. In conclusion, the works of modern architects can be said to have achieved the harmony between 'purpose of expression' and 'technical purpose' in realizing the 'Zeitgeist' that corresponds to the paradigm of modern housing.

The Purpose of this study first was to establish the concept based on the existing convention theory, and classifies the types of industrial aspect, and cultural and artistic aspects. Based on it, the relative importance of structural elements of the fashion convention industry is analyzed to fashion conventions in the industrial aspect. The research applies Delphi technique, it is applied to experts in the fashion convention industry in two rounds. Re result is as follows ; First, exhibitions and collection of the fashion convention industry are classified into five groups by examining their main types and main targets. Second, in fabric·material exhibitions, the procedure, personnel and communication have relatively equal importance on the whole although facilities are considered most important. in clothing·fashion exhibitions, the procedure has by far a high level of importance unlike others. Third, comparing the second stage importance, it is shown that the event hall, pubic relations, professionalization of personnel, communication between the promoter and supporting organization are most important with a slight difference by type. Fourth, comparing the third stage importance, it is revealed that ten most important factors are the event location, publicity time, the size·number of event halls customer handling , expertise, publicity media, friendliness, facilities, Publicity Publications, and business competence.

The purpose of this study is to survey of Korean costume cultural assets in overseas museum collections. Cultural Assets represent the cultural heritage. Also costume is one of cultural assets. In 1980's the Korean government and scholars surveyed Korean cultural assets. One of their finding was that Korean objects exists some countries. Unesco delared that cultural assets illegally taken a way to foreign countries should be returned to their nations. However, few objects had been returned to korea. Today museum professional designing their exhibited and collections try to both enlighten experts and instruct and please amateur enthusiasts. Exhibitions are one of the most effective means of stimulating interest in cultural objects and ideas : they reflect prevailing cultural , intellectural and political trends. The 1893 Chicageo Exposition was the first international exhibition in which Korea has ever taken part. Overseas museum held many Asian exhibitions however Korean exhibitions have been held much less frequently than those of most other Asian countries. (China, and Japan). Some of Korean art Collection have historical and artistic valuable , most overseas museum' collection are of low value and non-informative . Several museums in United States that have Korean costume : some of these museums have highly valuable historical and contextural objects. It is my hope that the information in this paper will be of use for those interested in learning more about Korean culture.

본 연구는 시각장애인의 전시예술품 관람 실태 및 욕구조사를 통해 전시예술품 방문관람 접근성을 높이고 지원방안을 모색하여 시각장애인들의 문화예술을 향유할 권리를 향상시키는 데 그 목적이 있다. 시각장애인을 대상으로 온라인 설문지를 사용하여 연구참여자를 모집하였으며, 총 83명의 응답이 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애인의 문화생활 이용 실태는 영화감상이 가장 주된 반면 전시예술품감상은 최하위였다. 단, 주된 문화생활 다섯 가지를 선택해 달라는 질문에 71.1%의 응답에 전시예술품 감상이 포함되었다. 전시예술품 관람 목적은 재미추구가 가장 높게 나타났다. 전시예술품 관람을 하지 않는 이유로는 시각위주의 관람문화를 가장 많이 표시하였다. 둘째, 시각장애인들이 선호하는 전시예술품 감상 방법으로는 눈을 작품 가까이에 대고 감상하는 것으로 나타났으며 절반 이상의 응답자는 잔존시각을 활용한다고 보고했다. 작품 감상 시 시각을 가장 많이 사용하지만 응답자 대부분이 다중 감각을 사용한다고 보고하였다. 또한 다양한 감각을 활용하여 작품을 감상을 할 수 있는 보조기기/서비스가 있다면 감상에 도움이 될 것이라고 보고하였다. 본 연구 결과는 시각장애인의 특성을 고려하여 전시예술품 관람에 있어 환경적 변화가 요구됨을 시사한다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로 문화예술향유권 실현하고 통합사회를 구현하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

본 연구는 학교 밖 과학교육 활동 중 하나인 과학전람회의 교육수요자로서 교사의 인식과 요구를 파악하기 위하여 전국과학전람회를 지도한 경험이 있는 교사 11명을 대상으로 개방형 질문지를 활용하여 그들의 의견을 심층 조사하였다. 총 7문항에 대해 평균 3,600자 이상을 서면 답변하였으며, 이에 대한 질적 분석을 통해 과학전람회 참여로 인한 학생과 교사의 성장, 대회 참여의 어려운 점, 활성화를 위한 교사의 목소리를 알아볼 수 있었다. 교사들은 과학전람회 참여가 개방형 탐구과정을 경험하고 이로 인해 학생의 과학 관련 지식 및 태도의 향상, 이공계 분야 진로 진학으로의 연계가 활발해진다는 점에서 긍정적인 의견을 제시하였다. 다만 대회 참가 학생들은 학교생활기록부에 탐구내용을 기록할 수 없고, 지도교사들은 참신한 주제 발굴에 대한 강박과 탐구과정 지도에서 오는 부담, 전공지식에 대한 전문성 한계를 지적해 과학전람회 참여에 어려움이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 과학전람회 활성화를 위해서는 지도교사와 학생의 역량 강화를 위한 17개 시·도 교육청 수준의 지원 방안, 국립중앙과학관의 홍보 방법 및 심사 방식 개선, 교육부의 학교생활기록부 기재 요령의 개선을 요구하였고, 이를 통해 학교 현장에서 공감할 수 있는 과학전람회 제도 개선의 필요성을 도출하였다.

The Institute of Contemporary Art has gathered, arranged and exchanged historical data and a variety of information of art. It also aims at Helping revitalize artistic activities and develop diverse areas of art among regions. This scheme for revitalization of art includes holding seminars, international exhibitions or regional exchange exhibitions, publishing papers, and enhancing art education. This paper provides a view of what the Institute of Contemporary Art at Kunsan University has done so far, pursues better ways for revitalization of artistic activities, and suggests a future-oriented approach for making the institute a place for regional exchange of modem art and design.

This study was carried out to investigate development method of packaging exhibition in korea. Even if Seoul Pack is held by 8th times, it marks time in comparison with other famous packaging exhibitions(e.g. Inter Pack, Pack Expo and Tokyo Pack). They have been developed every year. Seoul Pack is small scare, there is no comparison between ours and other famous packaging exhibitions. Seoul Pack is 1/10 over Tokyo Pack in the exhibition scale and visitors. Seoul Pack needs an active public information to develop national scale. After exhibition we distributer 70% of earnings and reinvest 30% of promotion. We needs over 400 exhibitors, 1,500 booths and 100,000 visitors in other to advance national exhibition in the near future.
