  • In the literatual studies on the causes and treatments of the melasma, the results were as follows. 1. Melasma is the blackish patch on the face, is belong to the cartegory of the 'Myunjin(面塵)', 'Myunganzung(면간증)', 'Jakban(雀斑)' etc. in Oriental medicine 2. Melasma is deeply associated with Yangming channel in Meridian, with the spleen, stomach, heart and kidney in Viscera. 3. The pathogenic factors of Melasma is divided five parts. One is insufficient of Yangming's energy in Neijing(內經). Two is incoordination between vital energy and blood caused by wind-evil and phlegm-retention syndrome. Three is anxiety impairing the spleen. Four is kidney-asthenia and fire-hyperactivity. Five is heat-evil. 4. In the treatments of Melasma, Sthenia-syndrome was used cooling blood and activating blood circulation, or dispelling wind-evil and promoting meridian, or expelling fire-evil and removing toxic material etc. Asthenia-syndrome was used invigorating the liver and kidney, or nourishing yin and keeping fire downwards etc. 5. Melasma is concerned with sun-light, is mostly seen in female. 6. In the prescription of Melasma, it was used Jujesamultang(酒製四物湯加減), Okyong -san(玉容散), Chunghwasungitang(沖和順氣湯), Okyongseosisan(玉容西施散), Yukmiji-hwanghwan(六味地黃丸) etc.

  • 무선 네트워크의 급속한 성장과 더불어 스마트폰(Smart Phone) 사용자들이 급증함에 따라 카페나 지하철역 등 곳곳에서 무선LAN을 이용할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나, 무선LAN 이용자의 증가는 심각한 보안 문제를 야기시킨다. 공격자 AP(Access Point)의 SSID를 합법적인 무선 AP의 SSID와 동일하게 설정한 후, 클라이언트의 접속을 유도하여 공격할 수 있는데, 이러한 공격을 에빌 트윈(evil twin)공격이라고도 한다. 에빌 트윈 공격을 함으로써 공격자의 무선 AP를 이용하는 사용자들의 비밀번호를 스니핑 하거나, 피싱등의 공격을 할 수 있게 된다. 특히, 모바일 AP기능이 가능한 스마트폰 사용자들이 급증하고 있는 가운데, 스마트폰을 이용하면 이러한 공격을 더욱 은밀하고 간편하게 수행할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 IP주소를 이용하여, 스마트폰을 이용한 에빌 트윈 공격 탐지 방법을 제안하였다.

  • This study is to illuminate the problem of shadows and evil appearing in contemporary events in the midst of a period of upheaval through Inferno of Divine Comedy. First, the concept of shadow and evil were briefly summarized in analytical psychology and discussed the importance of considering the concepts with the empirical aspect of relativity and ethics in the field of psychotherapy. The 14th century, the age of Dante, was the embryonic period of the Renaissance beyond the end of the Middle Ages. It was when Dante, who was writing Divine Comedy, had to take off his persona forcibly and live in exile. In a nutshell, it was a transition period for both the individual and the collective. The dark forest is a nigredo, darkness and chaos we face in this transition, but it can be a place of transformation and rebirth. The three beasts (leopard, lion, and she-wolf) encountered in the forest can be considered as the instinctual images that Dante ignored and alienated, which the medieval Christian world had suppressed and eliminated. Especially at the collective level, as destructive instincts, ferocious beasts roam throughout society when a crisis breaks dominant laws of values. The three beasts of Inferno appear as phenomena of shadows and evil. The aspect of leopard was explored Cerberus and Chiaco(pig) as a symbol of greed, and the lion, Farinata as the form of violent passion. The aspect of the she-wolf was examined as Geryon, a deceitful monster with a beast nature hidden behind goodness, the giants in the frozen lake of Cocytus, and Branca D'Oria, who betrayed and murdered the country and family. Inferno reveals the "state" of being trapped when one yields to the evil hidden within oneself and falls into prey.

  • In the Literatual Study on the Dysphonia, the results were as follows. 1. The causes of dysphonia are exogenous pathogenic factors,(specially cold evil)internal damage and meridian in The Yellow Emperor's Canon of Interal Medicine, since then endogenous pathogenic factors are lung-asthenia and deficiency of lung-yin etc. The main causes are disease caused by exogenous evils, general body weakness, emotional stimulation and excess of high voice rescently. 2. The pathogenesis of dysphonia originated from two factors; The first internal damages are consumption of body fluid with the formation of dryness evil resulting from the insufficienty of lung-yin and lung-collaterals damaged by heat-evil caused by deficiency of lung and kidney-yin. The second disease caused by exogenous evils is sluggishness of lung-energy caused by exogenous pathogenic factors. 3. The main relative organ are heart, lung and kidney etc. 4. The prescriptions of wind-cold symptoms are Samyoutang(三拗湯) and Hangsosan(杏蘇散), in the prescriptions of phlegm-heat symptom is Chenginyongphetang(淸咽寧肺湯), in the prescriptions of depressive syndrome due to disorder of vital energy are Sogangkitang(小降氣湯) and Shihochenggantang(柴胡淸肝湯加減), in the prescriptions of consumption of body fluid with the formation of dryness evil resulting from the insufficiency of lung-yin symptoms are Sanghangtang(桑杏湯) and Chenginguphetang(淸咽救肺湯, in the prescriptions of deficiency of lung and kidney-yin are Baekhabgokumtang(百合固金湯) and Maekmigiwhangtang(麥味地黃湯). 5. The treatment of acupunctures are used by LI-4(合谷), H-7(湧泉), Liv-3(太衝), K-3(太谿), Sp-6(三陰交), H-5(通里), GV-15(아門), CV-23(廉泉), S-40(農隆), K-6(照海), L-7(列缺), S-36(足三里) etc.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the esthetic features of femme fatale character fashions, which are shown in Movie . The feature of evil femineity is the attribute of evil which brings men to ruin by the dangerous, cunning, and cruel trick, and is expressed in black color, red color, and slash fashion. This fashion shows the dark reverse side of women's sexual desire in relation to anxiety, evil, and death. The feature of sensuality evokes physical pleasures or desires, and maximizes the exposure of sexual regions by tightening or loosening women's body. In the fashion expressing this feature, the forms are fit or loose silhouette. and the colors are black and red. and the materials are soft. This fashion seems to deconstruct the past concept of sex consciousness and emphasize the independent and autonomous femineity. The feature of positiveness combines feminine elements with masculine elements in relation to power elements. This feature is expressed in tailored suit and trousers, with few patterns and details, and in black color and gray color. This fashion reflects the aggressive, challenging, and independent femineity, and expresses the potential defense for the weakness and danger of female body. The feature of purity expresses the earnest and truthful mind, and is expressed in the soft and light one-piece dress, the elegant suit, and the pink color and black color fashion. This fashion shows angel-like and reliable womanly beauty, but at the same time shows women's attribute which changes their behavior and thinking every moment, so that this fashion shows women's double-sided attribute which combines women's weakness and violence, or tenacity and conflict.

  • The costume in musical is an important visual factor that contributes to the level of stage completion by for the character and overall atmosphere of the whole play. Besides, as if it is has a fixed times in the drama, it has to produce to consider an opinion of producer to express the theme, atmosphere of a play and especially in the period adventure drama, to revive as it is historical dress, there is not creation at stage of today. This research is studied into the stage costume of the musical 'Jekyll and Hyde' an adapted to express image of good and evil in the one character. For this research, it researched costume of Victoria period in England, study character of main actor by analysis of the play in an original work, examine the stage costume of the musical 'Jekyll and Hyde' performed in the inside and outside of the country. In the musical stage costume, by character difficult of stage costume, factor of design feature divided to good and evil and compare feature design of stage costume, research new design express method to consider musical acting, moreover through designing and producing the costume to be suitable for the content of the work. This research consists of research and actual production of work, study of documentary records, collection and analysis of overseas performances, news releases, video material and internet research were the methods of this study.

  • Aversion to wind is a feeling of cold when exposed to wind; aversion to cold is a feeling of cold. The distinction between aversion to wind and aversion to cold is ambiguous because in greater yang disease the two terms seem to be used indiscriminately. It is, however, worth noting that "aversion to wind" does not occur in the lines presenting disease of the three yin. In this text, we render as "heat effusion" rather than "fever," since the Chinese term is somewhat wider in meaning than familiar English term, Heat effusion is associated with many conditions and occurs both in externally contracted disease and miscellaneous disease (雜病), disease due to causes other than external evils). In externally contracted disease of the three yang channels, heat effusion is a manifestation of the struggle between right qi and evil qi; it does not necessarily indicate the presence of evil heat. In diseases of the three yin, right qi is not strong enough to counter evil qi; hence heat effusion is absent, and instead only aversion to cold is present. Sweating occurs in a variety of patterns. A distinction is made between spontaneous and night sweating(自汗). Spontaneous sweating is so called because it occurs spontaneously without exertion. it has numerous causes. Night sweating(盜汗) is sweating during sleep that ceases on awakening.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the expressional characteristics and effects of Diabolism image that appeared in fashion illustration. The concept of evil from ancient times is arranged with more basic pain, unhappiness, breakdown, fear, ignorance, sadness, imperfection, death, disease, and ugliness than it can be understandable in modern society. However, as the concept of evil is included in sacred ground of art and is begun to understand by the ugliness of broad sense, the evil and ugliness were recognized as subordinate concepts which fertilizing beauty. Also, image characteristics of Diabolism in pop culture are taking charge roles that remove visual discordance to decadent and mysterious beauty and trying to find new beauty by presentation of bad-tasted style. The aesthetic and expressional characteristics of Diabolism in modem visual media have something in common which is classified into five shapes: Negative image, Symbolic line and color, Transformation, Devilish shape, and Fantastic image. The Diabolism expressions in fashion illustration since 1980 show the possibility of image expression as a new technical field because they differ from existing expression methods and viewpoints of beauty. Therefore, the practical use of devilish image to express excessive aesthetic sense can expand the extent of image expression.

  • Through a literal study upon the cause of epilepsy between east and west medicine, next conclusion have been abtained. 1. The cause epilepsy in the east medicine, congenital embryo disease is due to insufficiency of heart(心虛) or deficiency of heart energy(心氣虛), secondary cause is wind -evil(風), frightness(驚), phlegm(痰), fire(火) 2. The cause epilepsy in the west medicine is divided congenital disease and secondary cause, one is excessive discharge of electricity of the brain have on a central nerve, a digestive organ, a respiratory organ, hamatogenous functions, the other is hereditary it and pathological it. 3. The epilepsy is concerned about the abnormality in five viscera, liver, spleen, heart. 4. In comparison east and west medicine of epilepsy is native factor, or innate primary cause is added to outer cause of wind-evil(風), cold-evil(寒), summer-heat(署), wetness(濕), and inner cause of frightness-terror(驚-恐), seven modes of emotions(七情) and the epilepsy is occurred phlegm(痰), fire(火). It similar that the epilepsy is occurred to structural and functional obstacle in western hereditary and primary cause.

Examining Hegemony, Ideology, and Class in Mani Ratnam's Raavanan (2010)

  • Cultures often adopt the good versus evil dichotomy within their narratives of religious texts, aural anecdotes, and cultural mythologies. The Ramayana narrates a divine story that transcends time of the battle between the forces of good and evil, between Prince Rama and Ravana. Numerously adapted through time, the Ramayana is today told through moving visuals and has been adapted by Mani Ratnam through Raavanan (2010). Raavanan is adapted to the premise of hero versus villain using the good versus evil premise as Dev Prakash (Rama) searches to rescue his wife Raagini (Sita), who is abducted by Veeraiya (Ravana). The film, however, departs from the Ramayana as Raavanan is told through the perspective of Veeraiya. In the film, Veeraiya is portrayed as a flawed anti-hero who battles against injustice instead of being the antagonist. He seeks revenge for his sister and stands up against the oppression of his tribe. In this battle, he questions ideological understandings of justice and morality that have been conventionally interpellated within society. This paper discusses how Mani Ratnam, through the film Raavanan, contests hegemony, ideology, and class differences within modern cinema and society alongside the more significant question surrounding India's sociocultural conditions.
