This paper presents a design of 1-channel active dry electrode module for EEG from one's forehead. The IA(instrumentation amplifier) circuit inside the module is based on the configuration sown on the paper MettingVanRijn et al. We analyze the IA circuit to find out the related equation, and then compare its simulated characteristic with the result obtained from the real active dry electrode circuit. With the active dry electrode and the wet(Ag/AgCI) electrode connected to the separated analog processing module on one's forehead at the same time, their real time and FFT outputs of EEG are examined for comparison. The active dry electrode module has advantages over the wet electrode and its analog processing module: 1) The size of the analog processing circuit of the active dry electrode module is smaller than that of existing EEG analog processing module; 2) the total cost required to make the proposed analog processing circuit is much lower than that of the existing circuit, since the designed circuit needs smaller parts; 3) the electrical characteristic is comparable to the general EEG analog processing module even if the designed module has simpler circuit configuration.
Waterworks facilities inevitably experience some amount of leakage even if there is a lot of investment or state-of-the-art technology that is applied such as DMA(District Metered Area) system construction, leakage detection, repair, pipe rehabilitation, etc. The primary reason is the leakage is naturally restored over time. In the UK, this restoration characteristic is defined as NRR(Natural rate of rise of leakage) and used to decision making for prioritizing active leakage control of DMAs. However, this restoration characteristic is well recognized, but researches on NRR in the water distribution system are insufficient in Korea. In this study, the estimation method of NRR was developed suitable for applicating in Korea considering of SCADA data, water infrastructure, and water usage patterns by modification of the UK's NRR method. The proposed method was applied to 9 DMAs and verified it's applicability by comparing with the other water loss performance indicators. It is expected that the proposed method can be used to support decision making for sustainable NRW(Nor-revenue water) management in the water distribution system.
Purpose Even if many startups firms have developed innovative items and a potential for success, they often have a limited financial resources, which makes them difficult to do business. To overcome this financial difficulty, startups have used one of fintech services, called crowdfunding that can be a good alternative to solving the difficulty of financing. The purpose of this study is to empirically validate the proposed research model that investigates the reasons of trusting crowdfunding platform, which positively leads to two outcomes - intention to participate and word-of-mouth for reward-based crowdfunding project. Design/methodology/approach We proposed several factors categorized as trust, information quality, and platform traits that have a positive impact on trust of crowdfunding platform, which positively leads to intention to participate and word-of-mouth of crowdfunding. The collected(n=285) from individuals who have participated in crowdfunding project was analyzed with SmartPLS 3.0 to test proposed hypotheses. Findings The results showed that all proposed variables (website reputation, crowdfunding familiarity, digital storytelling, information quality, and interaction) had a significant impact on crowfunding platform trust with exception of product differentiation. In addition, crowfunding platform trust was positively associated with participating intention and word-of-mouth. Based on findings, we discussed the research results and implication alone with a direction for future studies.
In the response to the demand for electrical energy , much effort was given to develop and commercialize high temperature superconducting (HTS) power equipments has been made around the world. Especially, HTS transformer is one of the most promising devices . but the cryogenic insulation technology should be established during development Hence many types of dielectric tests should be carried out to understand the dielectric phenomena at cryogenic temperature and to gather various dielectric data. Among the many types dielectric tests . the characteristic of barrier effect were conducted using simulated electrode after analysing the insulating configuration of HTS transformer main winding. The influence of a barrier on the dielectric strength was measured according to the position of the harriet the number of the barrier and thickness or the barrier. It was shown that the effectiveness . namely the ratio of the breakdown voltage in presence of barrier to the voltage without barrier, is highest when the barrier is placed at the needle electrode side. On the contrary, in the case of having the barrier between the electrodes, the harrier was placed between the electrodes the characteristic was even improved slightly.

Experiment have been conducted about thin oxide characteristics according to O2/N2 ratio needed for EEPROM cell fabrication. As a result, we think that there is no problem even if we grow oxide layer with large O2/N2 ratio and short exidation time and when the water is implated by As before oxidation, the oxide breakdown field is about IMV/cm lower than that is not implanted. Especially, the thin oxide characteristic seems to be affected largely by wafer cleaning and oxidation in air. On the basis of these, tunnel type EEPROM cell is fabricated by 3um CMOS process and its characteristic is studied. Tunnel oxide thickness(100\ulcorner is chosen to allow Fowler-Nordheim tunneling to charge the floating gate at the desired programming voltage and tunnel area(2x2um\ulcorneris chosen to increase capacitive coupling ratio. For program operation, high voltage (20-22V) is applied to the control gate, while both drain and source are gdrounded. The drain voltage for erase is 16V. It is shown that charge retention characteristics is not limited by leakage in the oxide and program/erase endurance is over 10E4 cycles of program erase operation.
This paper designed a voltage feedback driving circuit to compensate for the characteristic deviation of the Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode driving Thin Film Transistor. This paper describes a stable and fast circuit by applying charge sharing and polar stabilization methods. A 12-inch Organic Light Emitting Diode with a Double Wide Ultra eXtended Graphics Array resolution creates a screen distortion problem for line parasitism, and charge sharing and polar stabilization structures were applied to solve the problem. By applying Charge Sharing, all data lines are shorted at the same time and quickly positioned as the average voltage to advance the compensated change time of the gate voltage in the next operation period. A buffer circuit and a current pass circuit were added to lower the Amplifier resistance connected to the line as a polar stabilization method. The advantage of suppressing the Ringing of the driving Thin Film Transistor can be obtained by increasing the stability. As a result, a circuit was designed to supply a stable current to the Organic Light Emitting Diode even if the characteristic deviation of the driving Thin Film Transistor occurs.
Purpose: The objective of this study was to provide an understanding of the difficulties for facing parents of children with terminal cancer. Method: The design of this study was an inductive and descriptive study. Thirty???]one parents of children with terminal cancer participated in???]depth were interviewed s. C in depth and content analysis was used for analyzing the data. Results: The main categories in the findings were 'difficulties in coping', 'physical and psychological suffering of children', 'suffering of family', 'bereavement with children', 'economic problems', 'incurable situation', 'preparation of death', 'social isolation', 'coping after a child dies', 'spiritual problems', receiving active treatment', 'informing children of their condition', 'a sense of meaninglessness', 'emotional iunstability', and 'giving up hope'. Conclusion: The main point identified from this result in this study was that parents who have a child with terminal cancer don't never give up the hope of recovery for their child even when the child is in by the terminal stage of their children, even though and they are unwillingly to prepare for their child's death. This is a unique characteristic in the attitude of the families' attitude in child hospice care and differs from that found in adult hospice care. This result can be used as an important guide for nurses to in assessing the parents' needs in the terminal care setting.
Sclerosing hemangioma is a rare, benign neoplasm of the lung, usually presented as a solitary pulmonary nodule in an otherwise asymptomatic middle-aged woman. Cytologically it shows papillary, sheet, and cyst-like arrangements representing three main histologic patterns of papillary, solid, and angiomatous ones, respectively. Herein, we report the fine needle aspiration cytology of 5 cases of sclerosing hemangioma of the lung. The most characteristic finding is cyst-like spaces Intimately related to the papillary or solid cell nests. The tumor cells are relatively monotonous round to oval, small to medium in size. They have small amount of eosinophilic cytoplasm. The nuclei are uniform, round and have small but conspicuous nucleoli. The tumor cells in one of the presenting cases are large with abundant cytoplasm and show moderate nuclear pleomorphism. The nuclear chromatin, however, is fine and even without exception, even in the case showing nuclear pleomorphism. Major differential diagnoses based on the cytologic findings are well-differentiated papillary adenocarcinoma, bronchioloalveolar carcinoma, and carcinoid tumor.
The purpose of this paper is to come up with the measures for sustainable development of the agricultural sector in store for the strengthened U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change. We analyze the spillover effects of Methane and Nitrous Oxides taxes (carbon tax) on the Korean agricultural sector. Unlike the other sectors, the agricultural sector has a unique characteristic generating greenhouse gas in the process of production itself even without consuming much fossil fuel. In order to estimate the impacts of those taxes, non-linear optimization method has been used with various assumed scenarios. The production effect, income and' price effect, and greenhouse gas emission reduction effect in the agricultural sector have been estimated through this method. The empirical results show that the paddy sector has a bigger tax effect than the livestock sector. In the paddy sector, the carbon tax has more impacts in the suburban areas than in the rural areas, while the swine farming section in the livestock sector has a conspicuous income effect in the midst of low greenhouse gas emission effect. These results allude us to apply graded tax rates to the crop, the livestock, and the region of different kind. Even if the agricultural sector has a less tax effect when compared with other industrial sectors, an environmental tax might be an effective measure to prevent global warming.

In this paper, the characteristics of linearly tapered strip-line filters, where the even-mode and odd-mode characteristic impedances vary linearly with the same degree along the lines, are analyzed. The Impedance parameters of linearly tapered coupled strip-line, which is made by connecting two linearly tapered unsymmetric coupled strip-lines In cascade and the I:no input and output terminals are made equal, are obtained. Using the above parameters, the Image parameters of linearly tapered coupled strip-line filters are derived. The result of analysis shows that the line length can be made shorter and also the stop-band width between the fundamental and second pass-band becomes wider, compared with the coupled strip-line filters which use uniform strip-lines. Furthermore, the difference of impedance levels in the fundsmental and second pass-band becomes larger with the degree of taper of the lines. This property is unique, in comparison with the case of uniform or exponentially tapered strip-line filters.
