강제 송풍 증발기에 의한 자동제상장치의 최적제상시기에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Period of Optimum Defrost of Auto Defrost Unit by the Forced Fan Evaporator)

  • This study is on a experiment which shows to defrost automatically on the optimum time regardless of defrosting method. The result shows that the more defrost layers increase in fin tubes of evaporation, the less the section of the circulating air reduce. Thickness of the frost formation increases, so a pressure difference of ventilation increase, as a result automatic defrosting system sets the time COP drops suddenly up optimum time. Automatical defrosting system can find out the initial related current of evaporator fan motor and the value of load current in the optimum time. And it sets defrosting time, evaporating temperature, and temperature in refrigerator up system requiring value. Consequence of this experiment is that energy consumption with defrost load gets effect of reduction of eleven percent per 25.4 hours compared with common defrosting.

고속액체크로마토그라피를 이용한 우유 중 노보비오신 분석에 관한 연구 (A study on determination of novobiocin residues in milk by high performance liquid chromatography)

  • A method for the determination of noboviocin in milk was presented by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). The novobiocin in the spiked sample was extracted with methanol and evaporated under vacuum. After evaporating, the residue was mixed with distilled water for 2$m\ell$, filtrates with 0.45$\mu\textrm{m}$ acrodisc was injected into HPLC. The results obtained were as follows ; 1. The calibration curve of novobiocin was showed constantly linear(r 0.999) in the range of 100~500ng/$m\ell$. 2. The mean recovery rate of novobiocin from the spiked milk sample were 88~98%. 3. The coefficients of variation were 2.6~5.8% 4. The lowest detectable limit of novobiocin was 25ppb.

Feasibility of Using Graphite Powder to Enhance Uranium Ion Intensity in Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry (TIMS)

  • This study explored the feasibility of using a carburization technique to enhance the ion intensity of isotopic analysis of ultra-trace levels of uranium using thermal ionization mass spectrometry (TIMS). Prior to fixing uranium samples on TIMS filaments, graphite powder suspended in nitric acid was deposited on rhenium filaments. We observed an enhancement of $^{238}U^+$ intensity by a factor of two when carburization was used, and were able to roughly optimize the amount of graphite powder necessary for carburization. The positive shift in heating current when evaporating filaments upon carburization implies that uranium was chemically altered by carburization, when compared to normal fixation processes. The good agreement between our method and known standards down to an ultra-trace level shows that the proposed technique can be applied to isotopic uranium analysis down to abundances of ~10 pg.

  • Metal thin films, which are indispensable constituents of ULSI (Ultra Large Scale Integration) circuits, have been fabricated by physical or chemical methods. However, these methods have a drawback of using expensive high vacuum instruments. In this work, the fabrication of tungsten metal film by spin coating was investigated. First of all, inorganic peroxopolytungstic acid (W-IPA) powder, which is soluble in water, was prepared by dissolving metal tungsten in hydrogen peroxide and by evaporating residual solvent. Then, the solution of W-IPA was mixed with organic solvent, which was spin-coated on wafers. And then, tungsten metal films, were obtained after reduction procedure. By selecting an appropriate organic solvent and irradiating UV, the sheet resistance of the tungsten metal film could be remarkably reduced.

  • The laser-induced plasma affects greatly on the results of welding process. moreover selective evaporation loss of alloying elements leads to change in chemical composition of weld metal as well as the mechanical properties of welded joint. this study was undertaken to obtain a fundamental knowledge of pulsed laser welding phenomena especially evaporation mechanism of different aluminum alloys. The intensities of molecular spectra of AlO and MgO were different each other depeding on the power density of a laser beam Under the low power density condition the MgO band spectrum was predominant in intensity while the AlO spectra became much stronger with an increase in the power density. These behaviors have been attributed to the difference in evaporation phenomena of Al and Mg metals with different boiling points and latent heats of vaporization. The time-averaged plasma temperature and electron number density were determined by spectroscopic methods and consequently the obtained temperature was $3,280{\pm}150K$ and the electron number density was $1.85{\times}10^{19}\;l/m^3$.

암모니아 유니트 쿨러의 열성능 해석 (Analysis on the Thermal Performance of an Ammonia Unit Cooler)

  • Since the surface temperature of the evaporating tube in an ammonia unit cooled is lower than the dew point of atmosphere, the moisture in the atmosphere condenses and the frost grows on the tube. The frost of liquid film decreases the heat transfer rate. The reliable analysis of the heat transfer is required for the prediction of the optimal design of the ammonia unit cooler. For the specific commercial model, the performance was numerical1y estimated for the variation of operating condition and geometric configuration. It is found that there exists an optimum range for the parameters such as mass flow rate of air and refrigerant, humidity, refrigerant quality, fin pitch, the number of step, the number of rows and the pattern of refrigerant path.

  • The stochiometric mix of evaporating materials for the $ZnGa_2Se_4$ single crystal thin films were prepared from horizental furnace. To obtains the single crystal thin films, $ZnGa_2Se_4$ mixed crystal were deposited on throughly etched Si(100) by the Hot Wall Epitaxy (HWE) system. The temperates of the source and the substrate were $590^{\circ}C$ and $450^{\circ}C$, respectively. The crystalline structure of single crystal thin films was investigated by the double crystal X-ray diffraction(DCXD). Hall effect on this sample was measured by the method of van der Pauw and studied on carrier density and mobility dependence on temperature.

멀티에어컨의 성능해석 프로그램 개발 (Development of Simulation Program for Multi-Air conditioner)

  • In this study, theoretical simulation method for the steady state characteristics of a refrigeration cycle which consists of one condenser and multi-evaporator (Multi-air conditioner) is presented. The simulation was performed for a typical multi-air conditioning system consisted one outdoor unit with air-cooled condenser, compressor, linear electric expansion valve and bypass circuit and connected three-evaporators (three indoor units). The simulation results are good agreement with those of experiments within 5 $\sim$ 10% at the given system operation conditions which are condensing pressure, evaporating pressure, sub-cooled degree of condenser, superheated degree, discharge temperature of compressor and pulse of linear electric expansion valve.

비정상 증발디젤분무의 측정과 그 응용해석 (Advanced Analysis and Measurement of the Unsteady Evaporative Diesel Spray)

  • The characteristics of combustion process in an internal combustion engine are affected by the mixing process between injected fuel and ambient gas. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the mixture formation process of diesel spray. In this study, the spray structure was visualized by the exciplex fluorescence method, which can provide the simultaneous 2-D images of vapor and liquid phase in inner spray. For accurate investigation, the liquid-phase images were recorded with a 35mm still camera and CCD camera. Consequentially, it could be confirmed that the high-concentration vapor phase is formed in the region of spray tip and the edge of the liquid phase where droplets exist in the evaporating diesel spray, and the formed vapor is spread by diffusion. Also, the distribution of vapor is determined by the motion of droplets that exist in the edge of the liquid phase and the spray-tip region.

표면에너지 차이를 이용한 패키징용 솔더볼 자가정렬 및 솔더링 방법 (A Method of Self-Arranging Solderballs for Packaging by Using Surface Energy Difference and Soldering)

  • This paper presents a method of self-arranging solderballs by using surface energy difference. After evaporating Au which has high surface energy on Si substrates, Teflon passivation layer which has low surface energy was patterned by lift-off process. Droplets formed only on the hydrophilic Au solderball lands by the surface energy difference, not the hydrophobic Teflon surface. Scattered solderballs sticked by themselves to the wetted solderball lands on the tilted substrate. After setting preheating of $200^{\circ}C$ and soldering of $245^{\circ}C$ hot plates, the solderballs were soldered on the solderball lands and two substrates were soldered together completely. After measuring the mechanical shear strength of the soldered substrates with solderballs of $3{\times}3$, $4{\times}4$ and $5{\times}5$ arrays. the calculated shear strength per one solderball was 1.1~2.4kgf as high as the previous report.
