주거 및 사무환경 챔버에서의 생활소음에 대한 감성적 평가 (Perceptual Evaluation of Noise Sources in a Chamber for Residential and Working Environment)

  • This paper is to provide the basic way of a acoustical evaluation and efficient control noise by investigating the limits of perceptual loudness of living environment and by finding out any correlation between Physical characteristics of noise and psychoacoustic parameters. The limits of perceptual loudness were selected by the subjects in a chamber for residential and working environment. And the noise sources were analyzed to find out whether there is any correlation with Zwicker parameters and ACF factors. In this study especially, to set up the domestic evaluation grade about floor impact noise. we'd like to suggest the loudness Perception research result as fundamental resource for setting up the evaluation grade through the result that is based on annoyance. In the result of this research, upper limit of heavy-weight impact noise was L-60, and lower limit of it was L-50. On the other hand, upper limit of light-weight impact noise was L-70, and lower limit of it was L-55. It seemed that the loudness of noise from vacuum cleaner noise does not affect its perceived noisiness. Noises implicated In human such as floor walking noise and talking sound, are the most irritating noise in office environment.

  • Recently, Cooling tower are used the necessary element in a residential area and living space on the viewpoint of indoor temperature control. The purpose of this study is to assistance the comfortable environment and economical measures of noise transmission mechanism on tile cooling tower. The results show that noise evaluation interact the main factor of distance reduction and diffraction reduction. Noise criterion apply to the NC level and equivalent transmission loss about already the design of noise reduction.

  • For the comfortable housing life, an urban environment should give comfort and pleasantness to people living in house and in city. There are lots of environmental conditions in city affecting house and life and most of all the noise pollution have been become factor that makes people's life hard without need to say. Recently researches have been performed to create comfortable urban environment and a study on the evaluation of urban environmental sounds is now undergoing. This study aimed to analyse the subjective characteristics through the subjective evaluation to the sounds measured with physical parameters and eventually to find out evaluation method for urban environmental sounds. Vocabularies applied to previous studies were used for the subjective evaluation and sound sources recorded in specific places were presented with picture at the same time.

대학주변 원룸형 다가구주택의 소음측정평가 (Evaluation on Noise Level of One-Room Type Multi-Family Housing Around Campus)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the noise environment of one-room type multi-family housing around the campus. The field measurements on equivalent noise level of indoor and outdoor were carried out in 6 subject house units during the 26th${\sim}$28th of November 2002. The results are as follows. 1) Outdoor noise levels of 6 subject buildings were distributed 52.8${\sim}$65.3dB(A) and were inappropriate to the standard for environmental noise, 55dB(A). 2) Indoor noise level of 6 subject house units were measured 27.5${\sim}$63.5dB(A). These values were higher than the indoor noise standard (40dB(A)) except subject house D(average 37.6dB(A)). 3) It was found that the differences of indoor noise levels between subject house units were caused by resident's living factor, characteristics of window, and existence of balcony.

  • Social noise survey on multiple residential noises such as nut impact, air-borne, bathroom, drainage and traffic noises was conducted to investigate major variables affecting the overall satisfaction for noise environment The effect of individual noise perception on the evaluation of the overall noise environment was investigated through a questionnaire survey on annoyance, disturbance and noise sensitivity. Auditory experiments was also undertaken to determine noise level according to the percent of satisfaction for individual noise source. As a result of survey, it was found that satisfaction for floor impact noise most greatly affects the overall satisfaction for noise environment and annoyance most greatly affects the satisfaction for individual noise sources. Result of auditory experiment showed that the noise level of floor impact noise by bang machine, airborne, drainage and traffic noise corresponding to 50% satisfaction is 44dB($L_{i,Fmax,AW}$) and 40dBA, respectively.

  • Recently, Most of diverse noise of vehicles has decreased competitively according to development of the automotive manufacturing technology. Especially, Passenger car manufacturers has been conducting buzz, squeak and rattle(BSR) noise test as a method of the noise evaluation tests to reduce an unpleasant sound from interior parts on the driving the car. The purpose of this paper is to confirm the change of the noise generated in the product after the reliability evaluation. Here by the BSR test procedure used the test regulation of 'G' company.

  • The noise inside a naval vessel is very important in considering the need for hearing protection, improving the working environment and maintaining good communications for crews living on board a naval vessel. The indoor noise of a ship usually is specified by the A-weighted sound pressure level, but other evaluating parameters are required to reflect human senses more effectively. This paper uses additional noise indices related to room acoustics, such as NR(noise rating), NC(noise criterion), RC(room criterion), PSIL(preferred speech interference level) and loudness level to evaluate the noise inside cabins on a naval vessel. Using these psychological noise indices, allowable limit of noise level in cabins is suggested through psycho-acoustic evaluation for the noise in cabins.

  • In this paper, we developed the evaluation system for the active noise control so that the algorithms can be easily evaluated in real-time on the system. We implemented the active noise controller based on a single-chip with only additional op-amps for signal conditioning because the TMS320C280049 MCU includes almost all necessary peripherals for the active noise controller. Due to the difficulty in testing algorithms on embedded-type hardware unlike in computer simulation, we also developed GUI-based evaluation software which makes it simple to test algorithms on the hardware. Using the GUI software, we can optimize the parameters of the algorithms with ease in a specific noise environment because the parameters can be adjusted in real-time when the algorithm is running on the hardware.

  • Apartment and large residence buildings are necessary to ensure a comfortable noise/vibration environment. So. it must be performed a anti-vibration/noise evaluation at early design stage, such as utility room arrangement, machinery installation method and so on. In this paper. environment noise status on problem areas, which was issued by resident. was investigated to understand the noise transmission property generated from underground machinery room and to device a optimized countermeasure in order to enhance noise environment. Also, the measured noise levels before and after modification works are compared to confirm the effectiveness of proposed countermeasure.
