  • Recently, as the importance of experience data increases, there are many attempts to deal with experience data from a data science perspective. In the case of approaching as a collection method of a quantitative survey method that seeks to quantify numerically such as big data, it is difficult to interpret the value of experience in a wide range, and it is relatively expensive and time consuming, and personal information infringement There is a limit to the analysis due to the risk of However, since ethnography, a procedure for collecting experience data based on qualitative research, is mainly carried out in the natural real environment of future customers from the perspective of users, it is possible to confirm the nature that customers face with a small sample. In addition, it is also easy to interpret the relational dimension of the empirical data. Although the ethnography method of collecting experiential data is economical and efficient, it is important to reduce errors in the collection process because the lack of scientific procedures for the data collection process can be a problem. It is important to secure the validity of whether the correct measurement tool is used for ethnography-based experiential data collection and to secure the reliability of the use of a valid measurement tool and method by accurately selecting the measurement target. From this point of view, it is necessary to verify the reliability of the research method that clearly selects the measurement target and secures the validity for the development of the correct measurement method and tool for the collection of ethnography experience data. Therefore, in this study, a verification study was conducted on the data and methodology cases of the'I know you_AI' service that analyzes the customer experience of self-employed based on the ethnography method of collecting experience data..

  • This ethnography explored, the emergent writing and literacy of two-year-old children in classroom. The specific purpose of the study focuses on toddler's text appropriation from text environment and on social interaction between teachers and toddlers. The result showed that toddlers appropriated writing signs or words from their own text-environment and used it as the instrument for social interaction and communication. Specifically, they initiated social interaction by giving messages of their appropriated signs to adults as teachers, who were easily capable of communication. This led to all toddlers' involvement in message exchange in the classroom. Toddlers' marks of scribbles were also consisted of different kinds of lines and circles. Those marks have different meaning and. symbolic systems: drawing and writing graphics. Even though drawing and writing graphics developed as different symbol systems in toddlers' marks, each system helped to extend each other.

  • 최근 수학교육에서 수학교사의 신념과 교실 규범에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 측면에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있는 배경에는 수학 교수-학습의 개혁은 교사의 신념과 교실 규범의 형태가 이러한 개혁의 비젼과 일치될 때 일어날 것이라 믿기 때문이라고 보아진다. 따라서 이 글에서는 교사의 신념과 교실 규범의 연구를 위한 이론적 틀을 제공하기 위하여 문화기술 연구법 (Ethnography)에 대하여 고찰하고, 수학교육 연구에서의 타당성을 살펴보고자 한다.

Improvement of usability of the refrigerator through behavioral analysis (사용행태 분석에 의한 냉장고 사용편의성 개선)

  • On the assumption that the layout of refrigerator for domestic market does not match with the eating habits of the Korean, this study suggests a way of improvement for usability of the refrigerator by re-arranging layout of inner shelves through behavioral analysis with the video ethnography. On the result of analysis, it can be found that the layout of inner shelves of the most refrigerators differs from the habits of cooking and preparing meals of Korean food, so the author propose a new layout to exchange the usage of the 3rd shelf with the vegetable box of the bottom level. It can be effective method to improve the usability by assigning appropriate usage for each shelf. To extract internal design factors of product, which is related to the specific living habits such as a refrigerator, understanding of user behavior must be accomplished at the first stage. The author found that the analysis of user behavior using the video ethnography is useful for this purpose, because it can be used to explore unpredictable design factors from user's real life.

An Ethnographic Study on a Welfare Facility for Single Father Families: Focusing on the Experiences of Single Fathers (부자가족복지시설에 대한 문화기술지 연구: 부자가족아버지의 경험을 중심으로)

  • The present study conducted ethnography of a welfare facility for single-father families. The participants were 13 single-fathers living in a welfare facility. To explore life within the welfare facility, the qualitative research method of ethnography was used with Spradley's developmental research sequence (DRS). The major results of this study were as follows. The first theme was 'finding a way to overcome the crisis: the facility is a lifeline.' For fathers, choosing to enter a facility meant enduring a social stigma, but the decision was made with the hope of achieving successful parenting and economic independence amidst pressing difficulties. The category of living in the facility was represented by the theme 'build the family: preparing for independence through living in a welfare facility.' The fathers achieved psychological recovery through the decrease in parenting stress, improvements in their economic situation brought by living in a facility, and used this time as the foundation to gain independence and build a stable life. The event of departure from the facility was seen as 'incomplete preparation for departure' by the single fathers. The fathers with infants or younger children admitted to being anxious about leaving the facility, which involved the burden of raising the children on their own. There are practical and policy-related implications based on the results of this study.

  • This study is to explain the interaction of muslem immigrant workers in korea. The author approached new ethnography study method. Ten of Muslem immigrant worker and 10 korea participated this research. Data were collected by in-depth interview and non-participation observation The author analyzed the date according to Spradey(1979)'s Developmental Research Sequence model.   • In Asia, where the aging population is growing rapidly, as the funeral service industry develops and the market grows. The economic value and interest of funeral services is increasing. However, Korea's funeral services are being developed in a biased direction, focusing only on funeral services, after death. Compared to the case of advanced funeral services in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan, not only the funeral but also the care of the deceased's family and acquaintances around us are developing. It is appropriate to use a method based on ethnography and User eXperience. For this purpose, the method of collecting and analyzing the ethnography and user experience data of actual resident and visitor was deduced in persona method in the next ten years, and funeral service centered on resident and visitor. In this study, qualitative data centered on the future direction of funeral services, focusing on the resident (family) and the guest who are the principals of services from the perspective of service science. It is difficult to derive meaningful results from the process of collecting, processing, and interpreting big data in general, and in this case, the data analysis method is based on ethnography and user eXperience.) Is appropriate. For this purpose, the method of collecting and analyzing the ethnography and user experience data of the actual resident and the visitor was deduced in the persona method in detail after 10 years. In addition, the future direction of funeral services centered on residence and visitor was presented.
