  • This research is to analyze ethics in fashion design for more valuable and sustainable human life against the increasing alienation of the human being, the global ecological crisis resulted from contemporary consumption society. I expect that it can be helpful to plan ethical fashion design practice more effectively. For this, the documentary study and practical case study have been executed. The results are as follows. The ethics in design can be defined as the responsibility to reform the social, environmental problem of consumptive design, to sustain together without human alienation, environment disruption and to do social good for total human being ultimately. The ethical design practice means to suggest solutions to problems of human rights and environment and to act willingly. Based on this, ethical fashion design appeared as responsible design solution which has two directions. One is the fashion design for coexistence and sharing, including the design for all which considers even underprivileged minority, the design to promote public issues as well as to donate some profits. The other is the eco fashion design for sustainable environment, including eco-friendly design which is reductive and slow in whole design process, the design to inform the seriousness of environmental crisis as well as to donate some profits. The last one of the most important ethical responsibility as fashion designer is to abide by vocational ethics, that is, the prohibition of design piracy.

  • Science in the 21st century does not consider participants' welfare, safety and human rights in clinical studies, but modern science puts economic profits in its priority. This leads to a growing concern about social responsibility and professionalism ethics of companies, sponsors and scientists. Specifically, there is no way to control conflicts of participants' welfare with economic profits, leading to simply relying on individual ethics, social responsibilities and audit. This paper helps relevant agencies and people involved understand conflict of interest. Also this study presents the guidelines as well as independence, autonomy, ethical imagination and phronesis required for scientists.

  • The purpose of this paper is to critique the links between science and scientific researchers, politics and capital surrounding vaccines and vaccination in a pandemic era. It also introduces standards for adapting ethical guidelines for research under public health emergencies to specific circumstances and contexts. It also introduces ethical standards to be applied to scientific research. that is, scientific relevance, social value, cooperative partnerships, reasonable risk-benefit costs, fair and voluntary participation, independent review, and equal moral respect for participants and affected communities. It also outlines the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic-consent and other research procedure modifications proposed by Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). We are on the lookout for powerful capital and hegemonic groups inseparable from politics and important decision makers in the pandemic era - that is, scientists, supporters, and scientific civic groups. It underscores the need for an independent and formal scientific advisory body with the right balance between science and politics.

  • To examine the psychological characteristics and work ethics of Hanwoo managers, we selected 26 of the 50 managers who took part in this study to avoid unreliable response and non-description from the questionnaire. The core results of this study were the following: First, cronbach's ${\alpha}$ reliability with highest domain in this study were obtained from character strengths (.938), followed by job satisfaction (.841), internal evaluation (.799), and external evaluation (.739). Second, for perception and attitude of Hanwoo management, the correlation between job satisfaction and internal evaluation (P<0.05) was observed. Management satisfaction showed higher for intermediate group and subgroup and lower satisfaction for the top group. Third, there were statistical differences (P<0.05) in ten character strengths (curiosity, judgment, creativity, social intelligence, wisdom, honesty, optimism, responsibility, humor, and passion) according to group satisfaction. Ten character strengths were lower in creativity (7.14) and higher in responsibility (8.57) in comparison with other items for the top group. In addition, it will discuss about inconvenient truth about science and bio engineering which we have wrongly understood up to now - a myth on objectivity of science, autonomy of science and a scientist, a hunger of world, science expected to be responsible for all men. Lastly, it will describe study ethics and social responsibility, openness, moral imagination, self-examination, character of a bio engineer as professionalism.
