  • Purpose: This study analyzed the general status and conditions of the kimchi industry in Korea. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the information of a desirable kimchi market by analyzing the distribution, price, market, and consumers of kimchi based on the current status and status of the kimchi industry in Korea. Research design, data and methodology: This study basically conducted research design and analysis based on theoretical consideration and kimchi market data. Results: The conclusion of the study is that in order to globalize kimchi, it is expected that a strategy to target overseas markets with relatively low competition through a low-salt diet and premium strategy along with the image of Western health is expected. Conclusions: In Korea, small and medium-sized companies can target the B2B (Business-to-Business) market first and then target department stores or convenience stores at a stable time in the future to expand sales channels and profitability through premium or low-cost policies. Another strategy is to target overseas markets as soon as the company stabilizes through B2B. Therefore, in the kimchi industry, it is necessary to establish a sales/marketing strategy according to what position and position of one's own company in the kimchi industry.

자동차부품 벤처기업 스마트공장 및 모니터링 시스템 구현 사례연구 (A Case Study on Smart Plant and Monitoring System Implementation of Venture Company for Auto Parts)

  • 본 연구에서는 설비자동화를 통한 생산성 향상 및 제품품질, 공장 환경 개선, 설비 유지 관리 상태 및 제품 불량 유무 확인 등 제품품질관리를 위해 공장현장내에서 실시간 모니터링을 실시하고, 현장 작업시 발생하는 각종 분진을 제거하고, 작업자 개인 환경을 보호하기 위한 목적으로 스마트 공장을 구축하는 사례를 연구하여 제시하였다. 해당기업은 지방에 소재하고 있는 자동차부품기업이며 주요 연구내용은 스마트공장에 필요한 오일필터 클립핑 자동화 및 모니터링 시스템 개발이다. 스마트 공장 오일 필터 클립핑 자동화는 전기에어부품, 솔레노이드밸브 및 기타와 장비부품 가공 제작 과정으로 구분하여 구현하였으며, 스마트 공장 품질검사 모니터링 시스템은 서버PC 및 S/W, 클라이언트 S/W 및 현황 디스플레이 모니터, 운영자 PC, 운영프로그램, 입력단말기 어플리케이션 등으로 구분하여 실제적으로 구현하였다. 본 연구자료는 스마트공장을 추진하는 자동차부품 벤처기업에게 매우 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 보여진다.

CEO Compensation and Concurrent Executive Employment of Outside Directors: A Panel Data Analysis of S&P 1500 firms

  • In many advanced countries, most outside directors are executives, active or retired, at other firms; in other words, executives from other companies make executive compensation decisions. This situation may hinder the board of directors (BOD) in their efforts to optimize executive compensation levels objectively. Using a panel data analysis of the S&P 1500 companies, we provide supplemental evidence of whether, and to what extent, the concurrent executive employment of outside directors distorts the executive pay decisions at a given company. An unbiased fixed-effect estimation confirms that a $1.00 increase in CEO pay at outside directors' primary companies results in an approximate increase of $0.22 in CEO pay at the given company. From a policy perspective, this added agency problem - caused by the BOD and not by management - is noted as difficult to control; although a firm may establish board independence, the inherent concurrent employment of directors on a board continues to exist.

  • The manufacturing companies under Make-To-Order (MTO) production environment face highly variable requirements of the customers. It makes them difficult to establish preemptive production strategy through inventory management and demand forecasting. Therefore, the ability to establish an optimal production schedule that incorporates the various requirements of the customers is emphasized as the key success factor. In this study, we suggest a process of designing the simulation model for establishing production schedule and apply this model to the case of a flat glass processing company. The flat glass manufacturing industry is under MTO production environment. Academic research of flat glass industry is focused on minimizing the waste in the cutting process. In addition, in the practical view, the flat glass manufacturing companies tend to establish the production schedule based on the intuition of production manager and it results in failure of meeting the due date. Based on these findings, the case study aims to present the process of drawing up a production schedule through simulation modeling. The actual data of Korean flat glass processing company were used to make a monthly production schedule. To do this, five scenarios based on dispatching rules are considered and each scenario is evaluated by three key performance indicators for delivery compliance. We used B2MML (Business To Manufacturing Markup Language) schema for integrating manufacturing systems and simulations are carried out by using SIMIO simulation software. The results provide the basis for determining a suitable production schedule from the production manager's perspective.

On these time, need quality increase of construction to possess government official and international competitiveness of customer satisfaction by offering consumer building of good quality. Therefore, must establish direction to inspects and must advance forward formation government official's present actual conditions for building company's QI. This study is as following if summarize studying result of formation government official to improve quality in construction spot. First, formation's CEO will for QI need side improvement the formation government official enemy by important thing. Second, at checking activity and systematic action that participate of responsible persons cooperation enterprise space-time by complete charge department organization should be achieved. Third, complete charge department for quality control operation large size construction firm substantially formation Organizational well operate, but heavy hydrogen building company was construed by greatly unprepared misgovernment. AHP analysis result complete charge department is serious necessity, and the CEO under direct control organizational structure was construed by thing which can bring excellent effect in operation management side of quality business side and formation. Therefore, heavy hydrogen building company should does to occupy competitive power high position with tissue at active quality complete charge deputy.

  • To establish an effective security strategy, business enterprises need a security benchmarking tool. The strategy helps to lessen an impact and a damage in any threat. This study analyses many aspects of information security management and suggests a way to deal with security investments by considering important factors that affect security manager's decision. To address the different threats resulting from a major cause of accidents inside an enterprise, we investigate an approach that followed ISO17799. We unfold a criminology theory that has designated many measures against the threat as suggested by General Deterrence Theory. The study proposes a coherent model of the theory to improve the security measures especially in handling and protecting company assets and human lives as well.

영리기업으로서 민간경비의 영업활동에 대한 제도적 제약성 고찰 (A Study of Institutional Restrictions for Private Security's Activities as for Profit Businesses)

  • 민간경비엽은 사설영리기업으로서 영리성을 목적으로 하고 있으며 동시에 범죄예방이라는 사회적 공익을 우선하고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 민간경비업에 대한 영리성과 공익성의 문제가 상충되고 있으며 영리기업이면서도 공익에 대한 관리감독을 받고 있다. 영리기업의 설립조건과 영업활동권은 상법에 명시되어 있으며 자연인으로서 국민적 기본권과 직업선택의 자유는 헌법에 보장되어 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 민간경비업은 공익이라는 사회적 기능을 이유로 경비업볍에 준하여 설립조건이나 영업활동의 제약, 직업선택의 자유 등에서 제약을 받고 있다. 즉, 영리법인이면서도 헌법조항의 기본권이 무시되고 있으며, 상법상 법인설립기준이나 영업활동보장권을 적용받지 못하고 있는 것이다. 경비업법에 따르면 경비업을 영위하고자 하는 자는 반드시 법적절차에 따라 해당기관으로부터 허가를 받아야 하며 회사를 대표하는 임직원들도 결격사유가 있어서는 안 된다. 그러나 상법상 법인설립의 기준은 1명이상, 업종별 규정에 따라 차이가 있지만 기본적으로는 자본금 100원 이상이면 법적제약을 받지 않고 회사설립을 할 수 있고, 헌법에 보장된 노포권에 따라 영리를 목적으로 한 모든 소득활동은 보장된다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 민간경비업의 특수성에서 비롯되는 공익성과 영리성에 대한 법적 제도적 문제점을 살펴보고자 한다.

기업에서의 성공적인 CRM 정착에 대한 연구 (Research about a successful adopting for the CRM in the companies)

  • 기업들은 CRM을 도입하기에 앞서, 기업의 특성과 상황을 분석하고 CRM 비전을 명확히 수립해야 한다. 그리고 장기적인 안목을 가지고 각 기업에 가장 적합한 CRM을 도입하기 위한 요소기술을 파악하고 이들을 최적화해야 한다. 또한, 기존의 기업들이 일상적으로 전개하는 마케팅 활동에 CRM의 개념을 접목한 구축 전략이 필요하며, 이러한 구축 전략에 따라 단계적으로 투자 효과가 가장 큰 업무 프로세스를 개선하고, 이를 위한 시스템 투자를 점진적으로 전개하는 정보시스템 전략이 조화를 이루어야 한다. 첫 째, 고객 욕구의 파악과 고객니즈의 이해를 통해 고객생애가치(LTV)를 극대화하고, 고객감동을 통한 기업의 목적을 달성하고 그를 통한 기업가치를 높여 나가는 것이 중요하다는 것을 인식하였다. 둘 째, CRM을 도입함에 있어 동반되어야 하는 부분은 바로 이러한 조직의 변화, 업무프로세스의 변화, 고객접촉 채널의 변화이며, 경영층의 올바른 이해와 관심이 이뤄졌을 때 성공적으로 비즈니스에 접목될 수 있음을 파악했다. 셋 째, 국내기업의 성공적인 구축사례가 많지 않은 현실이고, 기업들이 시스템 구축에 성공했다는 것도 단지 CRM 전개를 위한 솔루션을 구축했다는 의미에 불과하므로 향후 장기적인 안목으로 더 지켜보는 것이 필요하며 CRM구축에 있어서의 산업별 구축사례가 좀 더 체계적으로 접근되어야 할 것으로 보인다. 넷 째, CRM은 이제 대기업들만의 전유물이 아니며 중소규모의 기업들에게도 필요한 시대가 되었다는 점이다. 스위스의 소규모점포 상인들도 사업체 규모에 맞는 CRM을 성공적으로 펼쳤던 사례가 있었음을 교훈 삼아서 국내 중소기업들도 회사의 실정에 맞는 CRM모델을 개발하고 고객과의 관계 유지를 통하여 사업을 전개하여야 할 필요가 커진 것이다. 다섯 째, CRM 업무프로세스를 정착함에 있어 선진기업의 CRM 시스템 모델을 그대로 적용하기 보다는 도입회사의 실정에 맞는 모델로 변환 또는 응용하는 것이 중요하다는 점이다. 즉, 도입회사 각각의 특성과 개성을 살린 CRM프로그램으로 개발하여, 나만의 장점을 최대로 부각시킬 수 있는 CRM솔루션으로 정착하여야 할 것이다.

조선업에서 사무직과 생산직 근로자의 직무스트레스 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Assessment of Stress at Work between White and Blue Collar Workers in Shipyard)

  • In recent years, Korea's shipbuilding industry have expanded its business into offshore plant. These changes are increasing the interest on job stress in shipbuilding industry. The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of job stressors between white and blue-collar workers. The survey was using Korean Occupational Stress Scale(KOSS) questionnaire and was administered to 8,080 workers of large shipyard company. As a result of the survey, compared with the median score of Korean workers, job stress level of shipyard company workers was low. However, seven categories of KOSS, except for job demand showed higher stress levels of blue-collar workers than white-collar workers. The overall stress level of shipyard company workers is low, however, it is important to find stressors by considering the type of work, working period etc., through a detailed analysis of KOSS 8-categories. The results of this study may be helpful to identify the level of stress and to establish preventive measures in Shipyard Company.

  • Nowadays, mobile is one of the leading technique fields. So when the company considers adapting CRM$^1$ through using mobile, the company can establish customer's satisfaction more efficiently. However, it hasn't been much studied in this filed of mobile although there has been remarkable advancement research on the technical area. When it comes to CRM in Korea, CBM is developed at the world status on the technique as well as service. And companies are realizing the importance of emerging customers market on their market strategy, so they are trying to attract new customers and also fasten loyal customers. This research will make us foresee and follow m-CRM trend and also give the companies how companies make a module appropriately for their strategy towards m-CRM$^2$.
