지능형 대용량 비례유량제어밸브 서보컨트롤러 설계 (Design of Intelligent Servocontroller for Proportional Flow Control Solenoid Valve with Large Capacity)

  • As the technologies of electronic device have advanced these days, most of mechanical systems are designed with electronic control unit to take advantage of control parameter adaption to operating conditions and firmware flexibilities as well. On-board diagnosis, which detects the system malfunction and identifies potential source of error with its own diagnostic criteria, and fail-safe that can switch the mode of operation in view of recognized error characteristics enables easy maintenance and troubleshooting as well as system protection. This paper dealt with the development of diagnosis and fail-safe function for proportional flow control valve. All type of errors related to valve control system components are investigated and assigned to a specific hexadecimal codes. Cumulative error detection algorithm is applied in order for the sensitivity and reliability to be appropriate. Embedded simulator which runs simultaneously with system program provides the virtual error simulation environment for expeditious development of error detection algorithm. The diagnosis function was verified both with solenoid valve and embedded simulator test and it will enhance the valve control system monitoring function.

  • 1:N 멀티캐스트 환경에서 신뢰적으로 데이터를 전송하기 위한 오류제어 메커니즘은 1:1 환경과는 달리 ACK 폭주나 중복된 재전송 데이터에 대한 고려가 반드시 필요하다. 이런 오류 제어 메커니즘들에 대한 많은 연구가 있었지만, 실제 서비스를 위해 구현된 경우는 그리 많지 않다. 본 고에서 다루는 ECTP는 현재 ITU-T와 ISO에서 국제 표준으로 승인된 신뢰적인 그룹 전송 프로토콜인데, 내부적으로는 신뢰적이면서 효율적으로 데이터를 전송하기 위해 다수의 타이머를 정의한다. 성능 평가는 RedHat7.2 환경에서 실제 구현한 ECTP의 트래픽을 다수의 파라미터들의 다양한 조합하였을 때를 인터넷 testbed상에서 이들 측정하였다. 끝으로 전송률의 개선이나 그룹 통신에 발생하는 제어 패킷들의 수는 오류 제어를 위한 각종 타이머 값이 크게 의존함을 보였다.

제어실의 인적오류 예방에 적용 가능한 ISO 표준 검토 (A Review on ISO Standards Applicable for a Human Error Tolerant Control Center Design)

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to review the ISO(the International Organization for Standardization) standards recommendations on a human error tolerant control room design. Background: ISO TC(Technical Committee) 159 published a variety of international standards on design of mental and physical work, design of displays and controls, and workstation layout design. A proper edition of these standards can be a good resource for a human error tolerant control center design guidelines. Method: Recommendations of ISO TC 159 standards were grouped into arrangement of control suite, layout of control room, layout and dimensions of workstations, design of displays and controls, environmental design, alarm, automation, management system design, procedure and training. Results: It was found that some standards on the design of supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA), alarm, automation, layout, workload management, and environment can be used for human error prevention guidelines in the control center design. Conclusion: ISO TC 159 standards were not sufficient to cover all the ergonomics area of control center design. Application: Designers can have technical aids from these ISO standards to improve ergonomic performance of their control center.

  • 비 신뢰성 네트워크에서 실시간 비디오 전송을 위한 에러 복원 (Error Resilience)기법들을 살펴보고자 한다. 소스 코딩 단계에서 에러 제어를 위해서 각 디코더는 에러검출(Error Detection). 재동기화 (Resynchronization) 그리고 에러감춤 (Error Concealment)을 할 수 있어야 한다. 더군다나 소스 코더를 채널환경에 맞추기 위한 코딩제어(Coding Control)를 통해서 반송정보에 대한 적절한 처리 기법을 논하였다. 우리는 채널환경에 맞춘 소스코딩을 목적으로 한 에러 추적 (Error Tracking), 에러 국한 (Error Confinement) 그리고 참조그림선택 (Reference Picture Selection) 기법을 검토하고 비교하고자 한다. 그리고 피드백 기반 소스코딩이 미디언 서버에 저장되어 있는 이전에 압축된 비디오와 어떻게 관련되어 있는지 살펴보고자 한다.

Feedback Error Learning and $H^{\infty}$-Control for Motor Control

  • In this study, the basic motor control system had been investigated. The controller for this study consists of two main parts, a feedforward controller part and a feedback controller part. Each part will deals with different control problems. The feedback controller deals with robustness and stability, while the feedforward controller deals with response speed. The feedforward controller, used to solve the tracking control problem, is adaptable. To make such a tracking perfect, an adaptive law based on Feedback Error Learning (FEL) is designed so that the feedforward controller becomes an inverse system of the controlled plant. The novelty of FEL method lies in its use of feedback error as a teaching signal for learning the inverse model. The theory in $H^{\infty}$-Control is selected to be applied in the feedback part to guarantee the stability and solve the robust stabilization problems. The simulation of each individual part and the integrated one are taken to clarify the study.

  • Over the last few years, the control of bipedal robot has been considered a promising research field in the community of robotics. But the problems we encounter make the control of a bipedal robot a hard task. The complicated link connection of the bipedal robot makes it impossible to achieve its exact model. In addition, the joint velocity is needed to accomplish good control performance. In this paper a control method using ANFIS as an system approximator is purposed. First a model biped robot of a biped robot with switching leg influence is presented. Unlike classical method, ANFIS approximation error estimator is inserted in the system for tuning the ANFIS. In the entire system, only ANFIS is used to approximate the uncertain system. ANFIS tuning rule is given combining the observation error, control error and ANFIS approximation error. But this needs velocity information which is not available. So a practical method is newly presented. Finally, computer simulation results is presented to show this control method has good position tracking performance and robustness without need for leg switching acknowledgement.

  • In this Paper, the temperature control error and cooling characteristics of inverter typ coolers are evaluated to predict application validity of coolers under heating pattern and amount The temperature control error of coolers small in 15~70% range of the max. cooling ability. At less than 15% of max. cooling ability has the inverter type cooler a basic temperature control error $\pm0.5^{\circ}C$ and acts as on/off type coolers. The inverter type cooler is unsuitable for precision temperature control under the complex heating pattern. But PID control of cooler including the heating system is an alternative for the case.

  • We propose a method to improve repeatability positioning precision of a linear pulse motor. By using this method the systematic error which may make the precision worse can be suppressed easily. And also we show that Power OP-Amp drive system enables the accidental error to be suppressed in comparison with PWM control drive system using IGBT inverter. As a result of the suppression of systematic and accidental error, improved performance of a linear pulse motor with repetitive positioning control is shown by experimental results.

Design of Single-input Direct Adaptive Fuzzy Logic Controller Based on Stable Error Dynamics

  • For minimum phase systems, the conventional fuzzy logic controllers (FLCs) use the error and the change-of-error as fuzzy input variables. Then the control rule table is a skew symmetric type, that is, it has UNLP (Upper Negative and Lower Positive) or UPLN property. This property allowed to design a single-input FLC (SFLC) that has many advantages. But its control parameters are not automatically adjusted to the situation of the controlled plant. That is, the adaptability is still deficient. We here design a single-input direct adaptive FLC (SDAFLC). In the AFLC, some parameters of the membership functions characterizing the linguistic terms of the fuzzy rules are adjusted by an adaptive law. The SDAFLC is designed by a stable error dynamics. We prove that its closed-loop system is globally stable in the sense that all signals involved are bounded and its tracking error converges to zero asymptotically. We perform computer simulations using a nonlinear plant and compare the control performance between the SFLC and the SDAFLC.

Adaptive Phase-Locked Loop for Process Control System

  • This paper presents the application of adaptive phase-locked loop (adaptive PLL) technique to control the process variable of the process control system. The adaptive algorithm is related to the error. When the error of the system is changed, the adaptive gain will be directly changed according to the error. If the value of the adaptive gain is large, the value of the error will be large. In this experiment, the reference input is 50% step input. The experimental result in controlling the first order lag process by the adaptive PLL shows that the response of the controlled system has no overshoot, short rise time, and zero steady-state error. The experimental result also shows that when the output disturbance enters to the process control system, the adaptive PLL can maintain the stability of the system and the effect of the output disturbance can also be fast rejected.
