감쇠계수 등가추적법을 이용한 조류 생장/소멸 수치모의 (Numerical Simulation of Growth/Decay of Algae using Equivalent Tracking Method of Decay Coefficient)

  • Previous researches on the analysis of algae concentration were restricted to applying single-valued decay coefficient during simulation period, and the accuracy as well as the applicability were severely challenged. In this study, an equivalent tracking method of decay coefficient was proposed by introducing the time-series decay coefficients and restart option. Dye module in EFDC model was employed to route the temporal variation of Chl-a concentration. It was shown that the simulation results can be significantly improved up to 46% when the equivalent tracking method was activated.

  • In this study, it is performed numerical simulation on multi-phase flow by means of CIP-CSI2 scheme. It is applied In a two-phase free surface flow problem at a high density ratio equivalent to that of an air-water system, for examining the computational capability. The method that is being developed and improved is a CIP(Constrained Interpolation Profile) and CSL2(Conservative Semi-Lagrangian) based Cartesian Grid Method.

  • Photovoltaic systems normally use a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique to continuously deliver the highest possible power to the load when variations in the insolation and temperature occur. A simple method of tracking the maximum power points (MPPs) and forcing the boost converter system to operate close to these points is presented through deriving small-signal model and transfer function of boost converter. This paper aims at modeling boost converter including equivalent series resistance of input reservoir capacitor by state-space-averaging method. In the future, properly designed controller for compensation will be constructed for maximum photovoltaic power tracking control.

  • In the ultrasonic welding machine, when the load fluctuates, the L and C of the piezo element in the oscillation part change. As a result, the resonant frequency is changed, so it is necessary to match the operating frequency of the ultrasonic welding machine to the new resonant frequency. That is, in order to maximize the output of the oscillation unit of the ultrasonic welding machine, it is inevitable to follow the resonance frequency. Accordingly, many methods for following the resonant frequency are being actively studied. In addition, in order to check the effect of external inductance on the operation of the ultrasonic welding machine, The equivalent circuit of the piezo element was analyzed by including the external inductance for resonance in the equivalent circuit of the piezo element, and the method of selecting an appropriate inductance was described. In this paper, we propose a new system that allows the switching frequency of the inverter to tracking the resonance frequency even if the resonance frequency is changed due to the load of the ultrasonic welding machine.

  • This paper describes the optimal sizing of each component using computer simulation and presents the efficient operating scheme of series HEV using hardware simulator the equivalent system. As the sizing method of components have been experimental and empirical it is needed to spend much time and development cost. however the results of computer simulation will set the optimal sizing of components in short time. There are two type of driving control power-tracking mode and load-levelling mode in series HEV. This paper presents that series HEV be operated in the load-levelling mode which is more efficient that power-tracking mode.

  • Maximum Power Point Tracking(MPPT) is used in wind power generation systems to maximize wind power turbin output power, irrespective of wind speed conditions and of the load electrical characteristics. In this paper we do the equivalent modeling the mechanical energy of wind power turbine according to wind speed into the synchronous generator. We analyse the equivalent modeling output part of rectifier into DC/DC converter input part theoretically. We design a control algorithm for variable voltage according to wind speed intensity and density so that load voltage of chopper is controlled steadily using the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control method. We analyse a battery charging characteristics and a charging circuit for power storage enabling the supply of stable power to the load. We design a system and do the modeling of it analytically so that it supplies a stable power to the load by constructing a DC-AC inverter point. Also we design a charging circuit usable in actual wind power generation system of 30kW and confirm its validity.

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs) require collision avoidance capabilities equivalent to the capabilities of manned aircraft to enter the airspace of manned aircraft. In the case of Visual Flight Rules of manned aircraft, collision avoidance is performed by 'See-and-Avoid' of pilots. To obtain those capabilities of UAVs named as 'Sense-and-Avoid', sensor-system-based intruder tracking and collision avoidance methods are required. In this study, a multi-sensor-based tracking, data fusion, and collision avoidance algorithm is designed by using a model-based design tool MATLAB/SIMULINK, and validations of the designed model and code using numerical simulations and processor-in-the-loop simulations are performed.
