화재하중밀도를 고려한 건축물의 내화설계법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fire Resistance Design of Buildings Considering the Fire Load Energy Density)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 성능위주의 화재안전설계법에 따른 구획실 용도별 요구내화시간산정을 실시함으로써 현행 내화성능기준의 문제점도출 및 개선방향을 제시하는 것이다. 내화성능기준에 대한 검토를 위해 본 연구에서는 현재 국내의 시방규정에 의해 결정된 요구내화시간과 등가시간공식에 의해 산정된 화재노출상응시간과 비교하였고, 화재노출상응시간을 산정하기 위해 화재하중밀도, 환기계수, 구조재료의 열적특성 그리고 구획실 형상치수 등을 조사하였다.

  • 고주파 유도가열을 위한 인버터의 공진회로 설계에서 인덕턴스 L의 작용과, 출력전달 요소로 사용된 변압기의 결합계수, 그리고 코일을 사용한 가열부하의 결합계수가 공진회로의 출력, 회로의 Q와 공진주파수에 큰 영향을 주고 있음을 등가회로를 도출하여 그 특성을 해석하였다. 또한 변압기를 테브난 등가회로로 구성할 경우, 변압기의 이차측 임피던스를 일차측 임피던스고 환산하면, 권선비 n$^2$에 비례 할 뿐만 아니라 결합계수 $K^2$에도 비례함을 도출하여 결합계수형 테브난 등가회로에 의한 정확성이 큰 인버터 공진회로 설계의 기초방식을 나타냈다.

강성등가하중을 이용한 새로운 비선형해석 알고리즘 (New Nonlinear Analysis Algorithm Using Equivalent Load for Stiffness)

  • 본 연구에서는 새로운 비선형해석 알고리즘인 적응형 Newton-Raphson 반복기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 기존 Newton-Raphson 기법을 근간으로 적응형 부구조물화 기법을 이용하여 강성등가하중을 구하고, 이미 역행렬이 계산되어 있는 초기강성행렬에 강성등가하중을 적용하여 보정변위를 구하는 것으로 요약된다. 제안된 알고리즘의 가장 큰 특징은 하중 구간의 수에 관계없이 구조물 강성행렬에 대한 역행렬 계산을 단 한번만 수행한다는 것이다. 제안된 기법의 효율성은 강성행렬 및 역행렬 계산 후 부재강성행렬이 변경된 부재들이 연결된 자유도 수와 전체 자유도 수의 비율에 직접 관계된다. 이 비율에 따라 제안된 기법을 기존 비선형해석 기법과 보완적으로 사용함으로써 전체 비선형해석 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.

  • This study presents a new method to derive the constraint coefficient from the degree of angular deformation caused by welding, as measured experimentally by varying the shape of welded joints and the magnitude of constraints and from analysis results given by the elastic FEM method. The equivalent load was then calculated with this constraint coefficient. The validity of the numerical analysis involved in this new method was confirmed by its agreement with the experimental results. As for the effects of the constraints based on the shape of the welded joints in the case of Butt welding when the constraint coefficients are not considered, the deformed quantity produced by analysis is larger that produced by experiment and consequently is largely affected by the constraints.

석탄화력발전소 보일러의 멤브레인벽을 위한 등가 쉘요소의 직교이방성 탄성상수 결정 방법 (Method for Determining Orthotropic Elastic Constants of Equivalent Shell Elements for the Boiler Membrane Wall of Coal-Fired Power Plants)

  • In this study, we proposed a method to replace the solid finite element model of the boiler membrane wall for coal-fired power plants using an equivalent shell model. The application of a bending load to the membrane wall creates greater displacement at both ends of the central portion when compared with the middle when an isotropic elastic constant is used in the shell model. This is inconsistent with the results of the solid model where the central portion is uniformly deformed. Here, we presented a method to determine the orthotropic elastic constants of the shell model in terms of bending stiffness and vibration characteristics to solve this problem. Our analysis of the orthotropic shell model showed that the error ratio was 0.9% for the maximum displacement due to the bending load, 0.3% for the first natural frequency, and 2.5% for the second natural frequency when compared with the solid model. In conclusion, a complicated boiler membrane wall composed of a large number of pipes and fins can be replaced with a simple shell model that shows equivalent bending stiffness and vibration characteristics using our proposed method.

대스팬 지붕구조물의 등가정적 풍하중 산정에 관한 연구 (A study on the equivalent static wind load estimation of large span roofs)

  • This paper discuss the conditionally sampled actual wind pressure distributions causing peak quasi-static wind loads in the large span roofs using the wind pressures at many locations on dome models measured simultaneously in a wind tunnel. The actual extreme pressure distributions are compared itk load-response-correlation (LRC) method and the quasi-steady pressure distributions. Based on the results, the reason for the discrepancy in the LRC pressure distribution and the actual extreme pressure distribution are discussed. Futhermore, a brief discussion is made of the equivalent static wind load estimation for the large span roofs.

Wind load effects and equivalent static wind loads of three-tower connected tall buildings based on wind tunnel tests

  • Due to the significant aerodynamic interference from sub-towers and surrounding tall buildings, the wind loads and dynamic responses on main tower of three-tower connected tall building typically change especially compared with those on the isolated single tall building. This paper addresses the wind load effects and equivalent static wind loads (ESWLs) of three-tower connected tall building based on measured synchronous surface pressures in a wind tunnel. The variations of the global shape coefficients and extremum wind loads of main tower structure with or without interference effect under different wind directions are studied, pointing out the deficiency of the traditional wind loads based on the load codes for the three-tower connected tall building. The ESWLs calculation method based on elastic restoring forces is proposed, which completely contains the quasi-static item, inertia item and the coupled effect between them. Then the wind-induced displacement and acceleration responses for main tower of three-tower connected tall building in the horizontal and torsional directions are investigated, subsequently the structural basal and floor ESWLs under different return periods, wind directions and damping ratios are studied. Finally, the action mechanism of interference effect on structural wind effects is investigated. Main conclusions can provide a sientific basis for the wind-resistant design of such three-tower connected tall building.

내진성능 향상을 위한 밸브지지대 최적형상 설계 (Design Optimization of Valve Support with Enhanced Seismic Performance)

  • In this study, modal analysis and equivalent static load analysis for valve supports of 26" gas piping in gas stations were conducted and the existing straight and inclined types of valve supports were compared using seismic performance testing. Also, a new valve support shape was suggested by optimizing position of fastener holes, width and thickness of the support, and size of bracket. Improvement in seismic performance by design optimization was verified through equivalent static load analysis. The seismic performance of the newly proposed valve support was greatly improved and the maximum displacement and maximum stress of the seismic load was about 20% lower than those of the existing valve support.

전자기펌프의 설계 및 액체금속 유동의 수치해석 (Design of an Electromagnetic Pump and Numerical Analysis of the Liquid Metal Flow)

  • 본 연구에서는 장하분배법(Load Distribution Method) 및 등가회로법(Equivalent Circuit Method)을 이용하여 액체금속이송을 위한 전자기펌프를 설계하고 제작하였다. 제작된 전자기펌프의 구동전력과 이에 상응하는 액체의 유량관계를 구하였다. 액체금속유동에 가하는 전자기 힘(Lorentz force)의 크기에 따른 유속과 유량을 수치해석기법을 이용하여 계산하였다. 수치해석결과를 상용코드인 FLUENT를 이용하여 계산한 결과와 비교하고 분석하였다. 다양한 전자기력의 크기에 대한 액체금속(우드메탈)의 평균속도에 대한 결과는 FLUENT의 결과와 5%이내의 오차 내에서 잘 일치하였다.
