실내공간에서의 공기중 먼지 측정방법에 관한 비교분석 (Comparison of Analytical Method for Measuring Particulate Matter in Indoor Air)

  • Since most people spend a large majority of their time indoors (at least in the industrialized countries), indoor air may affect human health more than outdoor air. This study was carried out to characterize the reference and equivalent methods against the low volume method which was promulgated by the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. The Laser and Piezo air sampler offer the advantage of real time data and low labor costs. The arithmetic mean concentrations were found to be 102.9% (Laser-2 min method) and 65.9% (Piezo method) against low volume method (100%). The statistical analysis procedure for this comparision is linear regression. The linear regression line of low volume method had slopes of 0.5487 and 0.9697 and Y intercepts of 0.0266 and 0.0110 $\mu$g/m$^3$ about Laser (2 min) and (24 h) method respectively. And the correlation coefficients were 0.7271 and 0.9433.

용접변형에의 곡률의 영향에 관한 연구 (On the Effect of Plate Curvature on Welding Deformation)

  • A simplified finite element analysis has been used to predict the weld-induced deformation to bead-on-plate welding of steel plates having curvatures in the welding direction. In this study, the equivalent loading method based on inherent strain was used to investigate the effect of longitudinal curvature on the weld-induced deformation of curved plates. Equivalent loads were derived from the inherent strain distribution around the weld line, and the loads were used for linear finite element analyses. These kinds of numerical simulations can, of course, be performed by using the rigorous thermalelastic-plastic analysis method. This approach is not, however, practical for use in weld-induced deformation analysis of large and complex structures, such as ship structures, in view of computing time and cost. The present equivalent load approach has been applied to several plate models having curvatures in the welding direction, and the results are compared with those obtained by thermal-elastic-plastic analysis and also with those obtained by the other simplified method found in reference. As far as the present results are concerned, the weld-induced deformation of curved plates can be accurately predicted by the method presented in this paper.

  • This study was carried out to establish an analytical method on the open circuit seawater pipeline network for open rack vaporizers(ORVs). The linear theory method was chosen to solve this network system. In particular, the method was modified to calculate the static pressure at each node and to determine the operating condition of each pump with the mean static pressure of pumps and ORVs. The proposed method is the first report demonstrating that can be used as a solver for the complicated open circuit. Also, the method indicated the importance for exactly calculating equivalent length of pipes including valves, bends, fittings, and others to raise the accuracy. Although this technique is good for solving this system, it is still required to improve the convergence rate.

  • As resent trends in structural construction have been to build taller and larger structures than any time in the past, they have had high flexibility and low damping that can cause large vibration response under severe environmental loading such as earthquakes, winds, and mechanical excitations. The damper with mass and spring is one approach to safeguarding the structure against excessive vibrations. In this paper, the lumped electrical circuit approach of mass/spring system is used to model the mechanical aspects according to the frequency. Therefore, the mass/spring system can be dealt with here and linked with the equivalent circuit of electric linear oscillatory actuator(LOA). Analysis models are two types of vibration control system, active mass damper(AMD) and hybrid mass damper(HMD). AMD consists of the moving coil LOA with mass only The LOA of HMD with mass and spring is composed of the fixed coil and the movable permanent magnet(PM) field part. The PM field part composed magnet modules and iron coke, is the damper marts itself. We Present the motional resistance and reactance of mass/spring system and the system impedance of AMD and HMD according to the frequency.

  • The torsional vibration of the propulsion shafting system equipped with viscous damper is investigated. The equivalent system is modeled by a two mass softening system with Duffing's oscillator and the vibratory motion is described by non-linear differential equations of second order. The damper casing is fixed at the front-end of crankshaft and the damper's inertia ring floats in viscous silicon fluid inside of the camper casing. The excitation frenquency is proportional to the rotational speed of engine. The steady state response of the equivalent system is analyzed by the computer and for this analyzing, the harmonic balance method is adopted as a non-linear vibration analysis technique. Frequency response curves are obtained for 1st order resonance only. Jump phenomena are explained. The discriminant for the solutions of the steady state response is derived. Both theoretical and measured results of the propulsion shafting system are compared with and evaluated. As a result of comparisions with both data, it was confirmed that Duffing's oscillator can be used in the modeling of the propulsion shafting system attached with viscous damper with non-linear stiffness.

Fuzzy 계확법의 해법일반화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Extension of Fuzzy Programming Solution Method)

  • In this study, the fuzzy programming is extended to handle various types of membership functions by transformation of the complicated fuzzy programming problems into the equivalent crisp linear programming problems with single objective. It is well-known that the fuzzy programming problem with linear membership functions (i.e., ramp type) can be easily transformed into a linear programming problem by introducing one dummy variable to minimize the worst unwanted deviation. However, until recently not many researches have been done to handle various general types of complicated linear membership functions which might be more realistic than ramp-or triangular-type functions. In order to handle these complicated membership functions, the goal dividing concept, which is based on the fuzzy set operation (i. e., intersection and union operations), has been prepared. The linear model obtained using the goal dividing concept is more efficient and single than the previous models [4, 8]. In addition, this result can be easily applied to any nonlinear membership functions by piecewise approximation since the membership function is continuous and monotone increasing or decreasing.

  • This paper is proposed a new linear actuator with the permanent magnet on the mover. This linear actuator is designed to produce the vibration of a osillator. In order to evaluate its dynamic performance, the equivalent coupling parameter between mechanical and electromagnetic equations of the linear actustor, which is considered the magnetic nonlinear phenomena, is analyzed by the finite element method and estimated the thrust, displacement and acceleration with the simualation values and the experimenta ones.

  • 본 논문은 등가정하중을 이용하여 튜브 하이드로포밍 공정을 위한 최적설계를 제안한다. 튜브 하이드로포밍 공정의 최적설계는 유체의 압력과 축 방향 압입량에 대한 적절한 하중경로를 결정하고, 이를 통하여 성형해석 후 결함이 없는 원하는 형상의 제품을 얻는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그러나 기존의 등가정하중법은 하중을 설계변수로 고려하지 못한다. 또한 튜브 하이드로포밍 공정의 최적설계에서 고려하는 비선형 두께 응답을 고려하기 위한 최적화가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 튜브 하이드로포밍 공정의 최적설계에 적합한 새로운 등가정하중을 제시한다. 또한 새로운 등가정하중을 이용한 최적설계 프로세스를 제시한다. 제시한 최적설계방법의 사용 가능성은 예제를 통하여 확인한다.

등가선형해석이론에 의한 소방설비 구성품의 Lab scale 내진성능평가기법 개발 (Development of a Seismic Test Method for Fire Protecting Components by Equivalent Linear Analysis Theory)

  • 지진 발생 시 건물에 설치된 소방설비 주요 구성품의 내진성능을 평가할 수 있는 실험실에서 수행 가능한 Lab scale의 내진성능시험방법을 개발하기 위하여 지반응답해석방법과 전달함수 등을 바탕으로 한 등가선형해석이론을 적용하고자 하였다. 내진성능시험은 등가가속도에 의한 시험과 임의가속도에 의한 시험으로 나눠지는데, 등가가속도 시험은 등가선형해석에 의해 지진 규모에 따른 등가가속도를 적용하여 공진점을 찾거나 시험체의 이상 유무를 관찰하는 것이며, 임의가속도 시험은 순간적인 강진이 가해질 때를 모사한 것으로 가진주파수와 가진폭에 따라 가속도가 결정되며 기능수행여부 또는 물리적 손상 등을 확인할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 시험방법을 수계소화설비 주요 구성품에 적용한 결과 특등급에 해당하는 강진 발생 시 기능수행여부를 확인할 수 있었으며, 이러한 시험방법을 통해 소방설비 구성품에 대한 내진성능을 검증할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
