Swing-up Control and Singular Problem of an Acrobot System

  • In this paper, we address the swing up control and the singular problem of an acrobot. We derive a serial system equation from the acceleration constraint that there is no actuator on the first joint. Based on the serial system representation, we propose a swing up and stabilization control algorithm to move the acrobot from its downward equilibrium to its inverted equilibrium position. Simulation result is also provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

  • 본 연구에서는 혼합냉매의 열역학적 물성치를 정확하게 예측하기 위하여 척력 과 인력항으로 된 간단한 형태의 상태방정식을 택하고 이를 이용하여 순수성분에 대한 열역학적 물성치 자료와 혼합냉매에 대한 기액평형상태 자료를 이용하여 혼합물에 대 한 열역학적 물성치를 보다 더욱 정확하게 예측 할 수 있는 방법에 관해 연구하고자 한다.혼합냉매에 대한 상태방정식과 이상기체 상태의 비열자료를 기초로 열역학적 관계식을 이용하여, 압력-엔탈피, 온도-엔트로피 관계를 공식화하며, 혼합냉매에 대한 열펌프 및 냉동사이클 해석에 필요한 자료를 제시한다.

Aspergillus niger의 생물 흡착제를 이용한 납이온의 흡착 (Adsorption of lead ion by using biomass of Aspergillus niger)

  • The adsorption charateristics of lead(II) ions on Aspergillus niger and Rhizopus arrhizus were investigated. Adsorption amount of A. niger and R. arrhizus was about 95 mg/g and 25 mg/g, respectively. These biomass was approached to adsorption equilibrium within reaction time of 1hr because of their high reactivity. The uptake of lead ion by A. niger was less sensitivity than it by R. arrhizus on the inhibition effect of alkali metals and the decreasing ratio of uptake of lead ion of A. niger and R. arrhizus by inhibition effect of alkali metals was 37% and 50%, respectively. In pre-treatment on these biomass, NaOH treatment was contributed high adsorption capacity to these biomass. Then, adsorption amount of A. niger and R. allhizus was increased about 25 mg/g and 10 mg/g, respectively. In isotherm for the adsorption of lead ion based on Freundlich equation, 1/n value of A. niger and R. ar고izus was calculated the range of 0.28-0.56 and 0.44-0.67, respectively.

저장중의 두부에 WLF식을 이용한 물성 변화 예측에 관하여 (Prediction of the Rhelolgical of Soybean Curd during Storage by using WLF equation)

  • 여러 저장온도($5{\sim}25^{\circ}C$)에서 저장하는 동안의 두부의 물성 변화는 응력완화현상을 이용하여 시간-온도 중첩 이론을 통해 계산하고 분석하였으며 WLF(Williams-Landel-Ferry)식을 이용해서 품질변화를 예측할 수 있는 적용식을 제시하였다. 저장온도가 낮을수록 저장시 두부 조직의 초기응력 및 평형응력(equilibrium stress)이 강하게 나타났고, $15^{\circ}C$ 온도를 기준으로 이동인자를 이용하여 좌우 수평으로 이동시 하나의 중첩곡선(master curve)을 구하였다. 이동인자와 중첩곡선을 이용하여 WLF식에 적용해서 활성화 에너지를 계산하였고 임의 온도에서 저장 시간을 예측하였으며, 실제 두부 조직의 저장성을 논하였다.

ON THE ADAPTED EQUATIONS IN VARIOUS DYPLOID MODEL AND HARDY-WEINBURG EQUILIBRIUM IN A TRIPLOID MODEL

  • For a locus with two alleles (IA and IB), the frequencies of the alleles are represented by $$p=f(I^A)={\frac{2N_{AA}+N_{AB}}{2N}},\;q=f(I^B)={\frac{2N_{BB}+N_{AB}}{2N}}$$ where NAA, NAB and NBB are the numbers of IAIA, IAIB and IBIB respectively and N is the total number of populations. The frequencies of the genotypes expected are calculated by using p2, 2pq and q2. Choi defined the density and operator for the value of the frequency of one gene and found the adapted partial differential equation as a follow-up for the frequency of alleles and applied this adapted partial differential equation to several diploid model [1]. In this paper, we find adapted equations for the model for selection against recessive homozygotes and in case that the alley frequency changes after one generation of selection when there is no dominance. Also we consider the triploid model with three alleles IA, IB and i and determine whether six genotypes observed are in Hardy-Weinburg for equilibrium.

Hailwood-Horrobin 방정식을 이용한 한국의 야외 목재평형함수율 결정 (Determination of Equilibrium Moisture Content of Outdoor Woods by Using Hailwood-Horrobin Equation in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 지역 및 계절 변화에 따른 목재의 평형함수율을 조사하기 위해 수행되었다. 국내 73개 장소에서 30년(1981~2010) 동안 축적된 기상자료와 Hailwood-Horrobin 방정식을 이용하여 목재평형함수율을 계산하였으며 계산된 목재평형함수율의 변화 추이를 조사하였다. 평년값(30년 평균값)을 사용하여 계산된 목재평형함수율은 대구가 11.5로 가장 낮았으며 흑산도가 15.8로 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 계절별로 살펴보았을 때 여름(6월, 7월, 8월)이 15.3으로 가장 높았으며 가을(9월, 10월, 11월) 13.7, 겨울(12월, 1월, 2월) 12.2, 봄(2월, 3월, 4월) 12.0의 순서로 평형함수율이 낮은 것을 알 수 있었다. 월별 목재평형함수율은 4월이 11.6으로 가장 낮았으며 7월이 16.1로 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 지역에 따른 월별 평형함수율의 편차는 제주가 3.0으로 가장 작았으며 흑산도가 8.7로 가장 큰 값을 보여주었다. 목재의 평형함수율은 목재의 수축 및 팽윤과 관련이 있다는 것을 고려할 때 월별 평형함수율의 편차가 큰 지역에서는 평균평형함수율을 고려하여 목재의 건조를 실시해야 할 것으로 보인다.

A study of a flatfish outlook model using a partial equilibrium model approach based on a DEEM system

  • The purpose of this study is to construct a flatfish outlook model that is consistent with the "Fisheries outlook" monthly publication of the fisheries outlook center of the Korea Maritime Institute (KMI). In particular, it was designed as a partial equilibrium model limited to flatfish items, but a model was constructed with a dynamic ecological equation model (DEEM) system, considering biological breeding and shipping times. Due to limited amounts of monthly data, the market equilibrium price was calculated using a recursive model method as the inverse demand. The main research results and implications are as follows. As a result of estimating young fish inventory levels, the coefficient of the young fish inventory in the previous period was estimated to be 0.03, which was not statistically significant. Because there is distinct seasonality, when estimating the breeding outcomes, the elasticity of breeding in the previous period was found to exceed 0.7, and it increased more as the weight of the fish increased, in addition, the shipment coefficient gradually increased as the weight increased, which means that as the fish weight increased, the shipment compared to the breeding volume increased. When estimating shipments, the elasticity of breeding in previous period was estimated to respond elastically as the weight increases. The price flexibility coefficient of the total supply was inelastically estimated to be -0.19. Finally, according to a model predictive power test, the Theil U1 was estimated to be very low for all of the predictors, indicating excellent predictive power.

Protein Adsorption on Ion Exchange Resin: Estimation of Equilibrium Isotherm Parameters from Batch Kinetic Data

  • The simple Langmuir isotherm is frequently employed to describe the equilibrium behavior of protein adsorption on a wide variety of adsorbents. The two adjustable parameters of the Langmuir isotherm - the saturation capacity, or $q_m$, and the dissociation constant, $K_d$ - are usually estimated by fitting the isotherm equation to the equilibrium data acquired from batch equilibration experiments. In this study, we have evaluated the possibility of estimating $q_m$ and $K_d$ for the adsorption of bovine serum albumin to a cation exchanger using batch kinetic data. A rate model predicated on the kinetic form of the Langmuir isotherm, with three adjustable parameters ($q_m,\;K_d$, and a rate constant), was fitted to a single kinetic profile. The value of $q_m$ determined as the result of this approach was quantitatively consistent with the $q_m$ value derived from the traditional batch equilibrium data. However, the $K_d$ value could not be retrieved from the kinetic profile, as the model fit proved insensitive to this parameter. Sensitivity analysis provided significant insight into the identifiability of the three model parameters.

Laminaria japonica와 Kjellmaniella crassifolia를 이용한 Pb의 생체흡착 : 흡착속도 및 흡착평형 모델링 (Biosorption of Lead ions onto Laminaria japonica and Kjellmaniella crassifolia : Equilibrium and Kinetic Modelling)

  • 본 연구에서는 해안가에서 자생하는 두 종의 해조류(Laminaria japonica와 Kjellmaniella crassifolia)를 생체흡착제로 사용하여 용액중의 중금속(납) 제거 실험을 통해 생체흡착제의 납의 흡착속도와 흡착평형 특성을 연구하였다. 두 종의 해조류을 사용한 납의 생체흡착은 흡착초기 2시간 이내에 평형에 도달하였다. 흡착속도는 유사 2차 흡착속도식에 의해 거의 정확한 모사가 가능하였으며, 여기에서 산출된 속도상수, $k_{2,ad.}$는 각각 $0.883{\times}10^{-3}$$0.628{\times}10^{-3}\;g/mg/min$이었다. 흡착평형은 Langmuir, Redlich-Peterson 및 Koble-Corrigan (Langmuir-Freundlich) 모델식에 의해 잘 모사되었다. 또한, L. japonica와 K. crassifolia의 4가지 중금속에 대한 선택성은 Pb>Cd>Cr>Cu와 Pb>Cu>Cd>Cr순으로 나타났다. 본 실험에 사용된 L. japonica는 pH의 증가에 따라 납의 흡착량도 증가되었다.
