Database-as-a-Service is one of the prime services provided by Cloud Computing. It provides data storage and management services to individuals, enterprises and organizations on pay and uses basis. In which any enterprise or organization can outsource its databases to the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) and query the data whenever and wherever required through any devices connected to the internet. The advantage of this service is that enterprises or organizations can reduce the cost of establishing and maintaining infrastructure locally. However, there exist some database security, privacychallenges and query performance issues to access data, to overcome these issues, in our recent research, developed a database security model using a deterministic encryption scheme, which improved query execution performance and database security level. As this model is implemented using a deterministic encryption scheme, it may suffer from chosen plain text attack, to overcome this issue. In this paper, we proposed a new model for cloud database security using nondeterministic encryption, order preserving encryption, homomorphic encryptionand database distribution schemes, andour proposed model supports execution of queries with equality check, range condition and aggregate operations on encrypted cloud database without decryption. This model is more secure with optimal query execution performance.
The subjects of this research were 384 men in the Chungbuk area and the effect of their attitude towards prostitution were analyzed. Subjects were divided into 3 age groups during the analysis and PASW Statistics 18.0 was used in material analysis. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the age group 'between 30 to 45 years of age' and 'between 45 to 60 years of age' displayed more positive attitude towards prostitution compared to the age group 'above 65 years of age'. Second, factors that effect the attitude towards prostitution were shown to be different depending on the group. In the age group 'between 30 to 45 years of age' and 'between 45 to 60 years of age', expressive coping behavior in sex coping behavior, official suppression, sexual equality awareness, work status, level of education were shown to have an effect. In the group 'above 60 years of age', controlled coping behavior in sex coping behavior, unofficial suppression, rate of satisfaction in conjugal relation, sexual equality awareness, physical condition were shown to have an effect. The significance of this research lies in the fact that it was the first to suggest prostitution prevention measure depending on the men's age group based on these objective analysis.
The basic assumption of analytical Dynamic Traffic Assignment models is that traffic demand and network conditions are known as a priori and unchanging during the whole planning horizon. This assumption may not be realistic in the practical traffic situation because traffic demand and network conditions nay vary from time to time. The rolling horizon implementation recognizes a fact : The Prediction of origin-destination(OD) matrices and network conditions is usually more accurate in a short period of time, while further into the whole horizon there exists a substantial uncertainty. In the rolling horizon implementation, therefore, rather than assuming time-dependent OD matrices and network conditions are known at the beginning of the horizon, it is assumed that the deterministic information of OD and traffic conditions for a short period are possessed, whereas information beyond this short period will not be available until the time rolls forward. This paper introduces rolling horizon implementation to enable a multi-class analytical DTA model to respond operationally to dynamic variations of both traffic demand and network conditions. In the paper, implementation procedure is discussed in detail, and practical solutions for some raised issues of 1) unfinished trips and 2) rerouting strategy of these trips, are proposed. Computational examples and results are presented and analyzed.
This study analyzes the effects of life course events and labor market conditions on the duration of career interruption among Korean women. The data were drawn from 'A Survey on the Women's Employment Interruption in Korea' conducted by the Korean Ministry of Gender Equality in 2009(currently the Korean Ministry of Gender Equality and Family). This study categorizes the duration of career interruption into three categories: (1) short term interruption(less than 12months), (2) short-medium term interruptio(12-35 months), (3) intermediate term interruption(36-59 months), (4) long term interruption(longer than 36 months), and then analyzes how demographic factors, labor market condition, and life events shape the timing of re-entry into the labor market among women. According to the findings, the jobs that are conducive to combining market work and mother's role expedite women's return to the labor market. Further, the younger, higher the level of human capital, and higher monthly wages that women earned before leaving the labor market, women are likely to experience short-term interruption(less than 12 months) rather than long-term interruption(longer than 60 months). Women who left from the labor market to care for kids are also likely to return to the labor market. However, women who have preschoolers are likely to experience long-term career interruption. These findings highlight the role of family supportive culture at the workplace in order for women to continue their employment while intensive family formation period. Furthermore, the finding that the discriminatory practices against women, in particular mother workers at the workplace lead women to exit from the market work calls for attention to establish family friendly workplace.
Current research explores the effect of language on the perception of facial emotion as suggested by the psychological construction theory of emotion by using a psychophysical method. In this study, we hypothesize that the perception of facial expression may be influenced if the observer is shown an affective word before he/she judges an expression. Moreover, we suggest that his/her understanding of a facial emotion will be in line with the conceptual context that the word denotes. During the two experiments conducted for this project, a control stimulus or words representing either angry or happy emotions were briefly presented to participants before they were shown a target face. These target faces were randomly selected from seven faces that were gradually morphed to show neutral to angry (in Experiment 1) and neutral to happy (in Experiment 2) expressions. The participants were asked to perform a two-alternative forced choice (2AFC) task to judge the emotion of the target face (i.e., decide whether it is angry or neutral, or happy or neutral). The results of Experiment 1 (when compared with the control condition) showed that words denoting anger decreased the point of subjective equality (PSE) for judging the emotion of the target as anger, whereas words denoting happiness increased the PSE. Experiment 2, in which participants had to judge expressions on a scale from happy to neutral, produced a contrasting pattern of results. The outcomes of this study support the claim of the psychological construction theory of emotion that the perception of facial emotion is an active construction process that may be influenced by information (such as affective words) that provide conceptual context.
This study examines the inequality of female golf leaders in recruitment and promotion and investigates alternatives to overcome them. It consisted of in-depth interviews and observations of the participants of this researcher by 9 female golf instructors who were employed in the driving range and had more than 10 years of teaching experience. Area analysis and classification analysis were used, and expert consultation, triangulation verification, and reconfirmation with participants were performed. The results first, Female golf leaders were unable to compete equally in the network of male golf leaders who advanced first. Second, female golf leaders were faithful to the role theory of women who have been educated in Confucian culture in Korean society. Third, to overcome the gender inequality reality, education was selected and self-esteem was raised through education. Fourth, fair opportunities should be given through job postings and job standardization. Lastly, it was confirmed that the proportion of athletes soon leads to the proportion of leaders, and that the number of leaders becomes a condition for equality.
The purpose of this study is to analyze current condition and features of female development funds of Busan primary local self-government, and to make useful implications out of this so that the local female development funds can contribute to its ultimate purpose, which is to achieve female development. The analyses show that 1) local self-governmental districts with good finance try to reserve funds by reducing programs; 2) local laws, which serve as the legal basis of female development fund utilization, do not reflect the value of gender equality; 3) the programs run by the female development funds lack contents; 4) beneficiaries of the fund programs aremixed; and 5) female policies and family policies are not separated, exhibiting the limitations of feministic perspectives. I propose that 1) the fund should be raised through the governance of local female groups and self-governments; 2) basic local laws should be revised: 3) gender perspective contents and birth support policy should be implemented.
The purpose of this study is to find a classification method with high accuracy in regard with sasang constitutional diagnosis. The BMI, blood pressure, pulse wave, and Sasang constitution diagnosed by a specialist was collected from 2848 subjects who were apparently healthy. Through a selective procedure, the data of 1635 subjects was used in the analysis. The results with the classification methods such as the discriminant analysis, regression, decision tree and neural network were compared with the diagnosis of a Sasang constitutional specialist. In result, the discriminant analysis method was hard to qualify the assumption of the equality of covariance matrices within constitutional groups. Moreover, without BMI, the decision tree and neural network methods were very sensitive to the change of the analysis data. Therefore, the Logistic regression and the decision tree is recommended on condition that the decisive factors of constitution are well concerned.
Todays our private universities have been facing with serious survival competition according to the opening of education market, the diminishment of college voluntarists and the increase of education supply. In coming the beginning of the year of 2000, though the equal formula. 'The fixed number of students of universities = The number of graduates of high schools' will he formed, even though the tendency of the fixed number of students of universities is maintained as it is, and it has been expected the unlimited competition would be unvaoidable, so private universities and private junior colleges which are weak in financial power are roaring the crisis consciousness that they may have to close doors before making every effort. Based on such presentation of problem as its study object, the range of study is limitted to the educational financial portion related to higher education field. Especially, the financial portion of private universities of higher educational field is discussed in priority. Besides, the present status of financial condition of our universities was portionally compared with that of in the advanced nations. It is true that pursuing the academic superiority of university education in our country, and attaining object of university as well as developing reflection in future should stand side by side. Therefore, payment of fee, supporting subsidy, etc. is attached too much importance to the financial problem. In our country, the financial allotment is attached too much importance to national universities. This is against the principle of equity to the tax payers, and equality of opportunity, so the level of supporting national funds should be upward formed and supported from 1.0% to higher than 20%. In conclusion, our private universities should adopt as many alternatives of rationalization of finance as possible, such as securing lots of funds and subsidies, and rationalized management of finance, and ensuring finance according to the increasing number of students after university specialization, etc.
There are many parties who connected with contracts like a contract for construction. Dispute arising from the two parties can be souled by themselves. but it grows the necessity of settlement at one effort. The meaning of multiparty arbitration is solution of mixed disputes without inconsistency through multiparty concerned. H the parses wish to settle the disputes by arbitration, they must come to an arbitration agreement. The arbitration agreement is necessary to resolve disputes autonomously, that may be in the form of a separate agreement or in the form of a clause in a contract. More ever it is resonable to view the arbitration agreement as a substantive contract in its legal nature enabling the authority for dispute resolution by the arbitrator. I had argument about who should appoint the arbitrator. That is to say, each party can appoint the arbitrator, otherwise the courts can appoint one. The basis of multiparty arbitration is focused on the factor that the courts may have the right to order the consolidation of arbitration proceedings without consent of the parties. The dispute can be settled by the arbitrators who are appointed. Appointing arbitrator is very important because it affects the party's equality. The right to appoint arbitrator shall be entitled each party in multiparty arbitration. Therefore they can appoint plural arbitrators by mutual agreement. for .reference to Rules of Arbitration of The International Chamber of Commerce, the Court shall appoint a sole arbitrator or three arbitrators in condition. The Arbitration Act of Korea dose not have the clause on multiparty arbitration including the arbitration rules. But if we have the clause enacted, it brings a situation in which both parties gain a benefit.
