In 2000s, the interest of ROHAS has been increased and the environmental problem has begun to be discussed as the environmental and global value, not the individual perspective. And the standard of value for eco-friendly awareness has been expanded to the economic category. The trend of eco-friendly fabric can be divided into 3 periods depending on the property. The period for natural fabric with visual effects(2002~2004) can be summarized as the creation of natural shape using the natural image, the interaction of cotton and the technology from the visual perspective. In the period of functional conjunction with eco-friendliness and technology(2005~2008), the eco-friendly awareness through the conjunction of technology and nature and the re-cycling, and the responsibility to the environment had been increased. In the period of sustainable development for nature and environment(2009~2011), it showed the conjunction with nature and the integration with technology and eco-friendly issues. Therefore, the characteristic of eco-friendly trend in fabric since 2000 can be said; firstly, the high-quality fabric has been developed with technological development for the functional progress. Secondly, the ethical creativity has been displayed with the development and utilization of eco-friendly recycling materials. Thirdly, the materials reflected with eco-friendly issues have emerged.

In this study, the concept of environmental-friendly architecture, where environment is importantly regarded as a design concept in modern architecture and the meaning of boundary are examined, To apply properly design methodologies along with the importance of environment, the concept of environmental-friendly architecture should be first correctly established. And as the recent rapid development of technologies provides new possibilities for environmentally-friendly architecture, it is needed to have a new boundary concept and the interpretation of the meaning of boundary differentiated from the one of existing architecture. Recently the meaning of boundary is expanding its range to the relations with its neighboring environment beyond the relations with in and out of a space and has also the role as a medium for exchange and communication instead of breaking-off. Therefore, the boundary of environmental-friendly architecture alongside physical boundary is extended to the area for communication. Here, a basic boundary of architecture is maintained, but its meaning and expressions get natural shapes. The study deals with the analysis of the concept of environmental-friendly architecture and its changes from the perspective of times, environment and social backgrounds and seeks its appropriateness centered on environmental-friendly architecture Since 1980s when the issues of human and environment were raised in earnest.

The main purpose of this study is to define the characteristics of emvironmental-friendly design which is found on in the planning of apartment housing complex. For this purpose, the subject of analysis were focused on the plans which had been authenticated an apartment housing complex development of Green Buildings. In conclusion, the characteristics of environmental-friendly design in the of apartment housing complex which are analysed through this study can be summarized as follows: It is shown that most plans hardly used the designs items such as 'preserving geographical feature' , 'use of substitutive sources' while the application ratio of 'making streamlets' , 'artificials afforestations' , 'making pedestrain road and bicycle road' is highest. this analysis means many planners and designers depends on only a few design elements when they plan apartment housing complex. it is because they don't have a correct understanding of environmental-friendly development.

This study discusses the concept on environment-friendly textile products, environmentally oriented processes of fiber and fabric production, and case reports of environments-friendly products. This study may inspire recognition and necessity of environment-friendly textile products to textile industry and designers ,and also develop the consideration of environmental aspects in the field of textile design and fashion design. Environment-friendly textile products mean not only natural products but also the products reduced the environmentally harmful consequences of their production processes. Because the textile production processes may cause environmental problem. the processes of bleaching, dyeing, mercerising, proofing, and establishing must be carefully controlled. These environment-friendly textile products in this study are divided into development of environment-friendly textile products, recycled textile products, products which are produced by environmentally oriented processes, and recycling capacity in the process of the coming into use. If the textile industrialists and its designers are continuously interested in those environment-friendly products, the textile industrialists produce environment-friendly products in manufacturing process, and the textile and the fashion designers design their products having the conciousness of environment. They reduce environmental pollution caused by producing textile products and are survived in the struggle of existence of the future world trade market.

The rate of disposable diaper usage has been increased continuously from convenience of disposable diapers and increment of women's entry in workforce. However, a new perspective toward disposable diapers has been come to the fore in various sides like babies' health, environment, and cost. Furthermore, cloth diaper has started to attract more attention. Since parents and grandparents pay more attention to children as birth rate dropped, they tend to purchase expensive goods if the quality or design of the goods is worthy enough. Therefore, this study has the purpose in presenting the basic data for developing functional and pleasant cloth diaper with analyzing the consuming patterns (convergence in nature, health and technology) and cloth diaper characteristics. The research on the actual condition about children cloth diapers and environmental-friendly materials is as follows. Firstly, as a result of analyzing pros and cons about disposable diapers and cloth diapers, the cloth diapers are estimated to have better health, environment, and cost factors than disposable diapers, only excluding convenience. Secondly, as a result of examining patent registered diapers, the disposable diapers have been improved from shape-centered development to well-being material development, and the cloth diapers have mainly developed functional shape-centered. Thirdly, as a result of analyzing children's goods made with environmental-friendly materials, the children's clothes already use organics and natural resources like beans, bamboo trees, ginkgo, and chitosan. Recently, the diaper industry starts to pay attention to environmental-friendly because the skin ailment from environmental pollution has been an issue. To conclude, children's cloth diaper should be appropriate to their body shape and optimized to have convenient form and functional materials. If environmental-friendly materials are used, quality, functionality, various demands from customers and vitalization of goods industry will be all satisfied.

A complex maritime resort combined marina and with course of Korea is required to improve international tourism competitiveness by taking advantage of her environmental favorable circumstances. The development of tourism, however, is focused on land-oriented that incurred lower tourism efficiency and international tourism competitiveness. In addition, the regulation of "Preliminary environmental assessment for golf courses" by the Ministry of Environment is emphasized on land geography and geology that can cause damage of tourist attractions in an island region. In particular, the development of 6th or 7th ridges in mountainous island region within 2km from the sea, that holds scenic and academic value, can go against environment-friendly by geographical and geological damage. According to the regulation for consultation for golf courses and forestry is to preserve regional ecosystem over 6th ridge, but it cannot be applicable to island region because that can form excessive slopes where marine ecosystem is required to be maintained. It, therefore, can be desirable that the development of over 6th ridge in an island region. It is suggested that continuous comparative studies of geographical and geological characteristics between land and island region will be carried on to establish feasible and reasonable development model so that balanced development of land and island, and versatile international environment-friendly maritime resort can be achieved and developed.

The purpose of this study is to develop and adapt indicators for the rural community assessment. Bearing in mind, indicators are derived from the various theoretical literature review and the efficiency of the indicators has been tested through comparing and evaluating 3 different rural communities which was selected based on their distance from Seoul. In order to assess a rural development project, the assessment indicators should include at least 5 domains of natural environment, socio-economic, quality of living environment, community characteristics, public participation, which are the basic formation of indicators of this study. Furthermore, this approach could be a ground for the environmentally friendly rural development planning.

With the recent increasing interest in sustainability management, the latest environmental report tends to be substituted by the expanded sustainability management report. In this work, I would like to introduce the management pattern of a global enterprise that values environmental soundness (environmental friendly) and implements eco-friendly measures. The enterprise chosen in this study is FedEx. In this article, FedEx case is presented how companies can adopt environmental friendly management in their businesses. FedEx has maintained an eco-friendly management since the introduction of the company's eco-friendly transport trucks in 2003, following its development in 2000. In 2005, it installed a solar power plant that can supply up to 80% of the electricity consumed by Oakland Logistics Center in California, USA. FedEx has published the "Global Enterprise Citizenship Report," which contains its business developments in 2009. FedEx has worked hard to minimize the influence caused by packaging of goods to the environment and appealed to customers to use recycled products as much as they can. FedEx also encourages customers to use packaging materials efficiently. A considerable amount of energy has been expended in the eco-friendly programs of FedEx. Although thousands of FedEx vehicles and aircraft operate daily with using large amounts of electricity and fuel, FedEx focuses on energy savings and global environment protection.

전 세계적으로 다양한 해양에너지 개발사업이 활발하게 추진되고 있으며 세계 각국은 해양에너지 개발에 대한 투자와 정책지원을 확대하고 있다. 삼면이 바다로 둘러싸인 우리나라는 풍부한 해양에너지 자원을 가지고 있으며 그 중에서도 해상풍력, 조류발전, 파력발전, 해수온도차 발전 등에 관심과 투자가 더욱 집중되고 있다. 하지만 친환경적이라 여겨지는 해양에너지 개발사업이 오히려 환경을 훼손하고 지역주민과의 갈등을 유발하는 대상으로 지적되기도 한다. 이러한 문제는 경제적 효율성만을 강조하여 입지를 선정하거나 발전시설의 건설과 운영이 미치는 해양생태계와 해양환경에 대한 영향조사가 소홀히 되거나 현실적으로 이에 대한 정보수집이 어렵다는데서 출발한다. 이에 본 연구는 국내외 사례분석을 통해 우리나라 해양에너지 개발사업이 보다 친환경적으로 추진될 수 있는 정책적, 제도적 방안은 무엇인지 모색하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구에서는 해양에너지 개발사업 계획 수립 시 전략환경영향평가를 실시하여 환경성을 고려한 선제적 입지선정을 진행할 것과 해양에너지 개발사업의 건설과 운영과정에서 지속적인 해양환경 모니터링을 실시하여 환경영향자료가 확대되는 방안이 강구 될 것 등을 제안하였다.

Recently, the environment has been recognized as an important factor in increasing competitiveness in the industry. In agriculture and rural areas, the environment is becoming important in terms of the competitive advantage of agricultural products and continued regional development. This study intended to provide farmers with basic data for the continuous development of local agriculture through exploratory studies of environmental behaviors and regional development. In this study, 107 questionnaires were used for analysis of farmers in Jinan County to analyze the impact of farmers' environmental consciousness on regional development, and the research model was verified using a structural equation model. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that among the components of the environmental consciousness of farmers, environmental health has a statistically significant positive effect on environmental behaviors, while environmental interest and soil environment do not have an impact. The environmental behaviors of farmers have not been shown to be statistically significant to regional development. As a result of the analysis of this research, first, it is necessary to foster at the local level by establishing a customized fostering system for each village and region, such as education and technical support to vitalize the participation of young farmers and small and medium-sized farmers through the establishment of an Eco-friendly agricultural organization support system. It is necessary to raise public awareness of the public good function of agriculture and expand opportunities for sharing the value of Eco-friendly agriculture.
