소비자의 감정적 신념, 환경적 신념, 주관적 규범, 태도와 육류 소비행동의 인과관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Causal Relationships among Consumer's Affective Belief, Environmental Belief, Subjective Norm, Attitude and Meat Consumption Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the causal relationships among affective belief, environmental belief, subjective norm, attitude and meat consumption behavior. A total of 318 questionnaires were completed. Structural equation model was used to measure the causal relationships among the constructs. Results of the study demonstrated that the structural analysis result for the data also indicated excellent model fit. The effects of affective belief, environmental belief and subjective norm on attitude were statistically significant. The effects of affective belief, environmental belief and subjective norm on meat consumption were statistically significant. As expected, attitude had a significant effects on behavioral intention. Moreover, attitude played a mediating role in the relationship between affective belief and meat consumption, environmental belief and meat consumption, subjective norm and meat consumption. Consumption played a mediating role in the relationship between attitude and behavioral intention. In conclusion, based on structural analysis, a model was proposed of interrelations among affective belief, environmental belief, subjective norm, attitude, meat consumption and intention. It should be noted that the original model was modified and should, preferably, be validated in future research. Other variables may be incorporated to form models that consist of new antecedent and consequence pairs.

육류에 대한 태도와 소비행동에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 인과관계 평가 (Measuring the Causal Relationship among Factors Influencing Attitude toward Meat and Consumption Behavior)

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the causal relationships among environmental belief, ambivalence, subjective norm, attitude and meat consumption behavior. A total of 318 questionnaires were completed. A structural equation model was employed to assess the causal effects of constructs. The results of the study demonstrated that the structural analysis results for the data also indicated excellent model fit. The effects of environmental belief, ambivalence, and subjective norm on attitude were statistically significant. The effects of environmental belief, subjective norm and attitude on meat consumption were statistically significant. The effects of attitude on intention were statistically significant. As had been expected, intention exerted a significant effect on meat consumption. Moreover, environmental belief and ambivalence exerted significant indirect effects on meat consumption through attitude. Subjective norm exerted a significant indirect effect on meat consumption through attitude and intention. Subjective norm also exerted a significant indirect effect on intention through attitude. In developing and testing conceptual models which integrate the relationship among behavioral belief, attitude variable, behavioral intention and meat consumption, this study may approach a deeper understanding of the complex relationship among meat consumption behavior-related variables. Greater understanding of the complex relationship among meat consumption behavior-related variables can improve the practical or managerial diagnosis of the problem and opportunities for different marketing strategies including meat production and meat product development and marketing communication.

친환경 아웃도어 웨어 제품 구매의도 결정요인 : 가치-신념-규범 이론을 중심으로 (Determinants of Eco-friendly Outdoor Wear Products Purchase Intention : Exploring Value-Belief-Norm Theory)

  • This study aims to investigate determinants that included personal values, pro-environmental beliefs, and proenvironmental norms for enhancing consumers' purchase intention of eco-friendly outdoor wear exploring Stern(2000)’s the value-belief-norm theory. A survey was conducted with females and males between the ages of 20 and 60 who have experienced buying outdoor wear products. A total of 300 responses were analyzed by descriptive analysis, factor analysis, a reliability test, an independent samples t-test, and regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The results of exploratory factor analysis and reliability test on the personal value clearly showed factorial structures including the social power, ecologic value, openness, equality, and altruistic value. 2) There are significant differences in personal value sub-dimensions, pro-environmental beliefs, pro-environmental norm, and purchase intention of eco-friendly outdoor wear products according to respondents' gender and age. 3) Personal values, but not social power, affect pro-environmental beliefs; in turn, pro-environmental beliefs affect pro-environmental norms, which then affects purchase intentions of eco-friendly outdoor wear. The findings support the conclusion that there is significant causality among personal value such as ecologic, openness, equality, and altruistic, pro-environmental belief, and pro-environmental norm. This study suggests pragmatic implications to understand outdoor wear consumers' socio-psychological and demographic factors and to augment purchase intentions of eco-friendly outdoor wear products.

도시 구조물 분류를 위한 3차원 점 군의 구형 특징 표현과 심층 신뢰 신경망 기반의 환경 형상 학습 (Spherical Signature Description of 3D Point Cloud and Environmental Feature Learning based on Deep Belief Nets for Urban Structure Classification)

  • This paper suggests the method of the spherical signature description of 3D point clouds taken from the laser range scanner on the ground vehicle. Based on the spherical signature description of each point, the extractor of significant environmental features is learned by the Deep Belief Nets for the urban structure classification. Arbitrary point among the 3D point cloud can represents its signature in its sky surface by using several neighborhood points. The unit spherical surface centered on that point can be considered to accumulate the evidence of each angular tessellation. According to a kind of point area such as wall, ground, tree, car, and so on, the results of spherical signature description look so different each other. These data can be applied into the Deep Belief Nets, which is one of the Deep Neural Networks, for learning the environmental feature extractor. With this learned feature extractor, 3D points can be classified due to its urban structures well. Experimental results prove that the proposed method based on the spherical signature description and the Deep Belief Nets is suitable for the mobile robots in terms of the classification accuracy.

부산시(釜山市) 청소년(責少年)의 반주행위(飯酒行爲)에 관한 연구(硏究) - 사회심리적(社會心理的) Model에 의한 분석(分析) - (Adolescent Drinking Behaviors in Pusan City : An Analysis on the Sociopsychological Model)

  • This study analyzed the socio-psychological process of adolescent drinking behaviors. A total 1,732 high school students in Pusan city were studied by the questionnaire from May to July, 1985. A structural model based on review of the literature was examined in order to test the following three hypotheses: (1) sociocultural and environmental impact on the adolescent belief system for drinking, on drinking situations, and on experiences of deviation, (2) relationships among adolescent belief system, drinking situations, and experiences of deviation, and (3) impact of antecedent variables on adolescent drinking levels. All hypotheses were supported by the data. The important outcomes were discussed as follows: 1. Because interpersonal factors were influential for the adolescent belief system concerning drinking, public drinking education through mass communication or drinking education in the curriculum were recommended. In addition to sex variables, friends' drinking and sibling's drinking were shown to have a positive impacts on drinking situations. Also, adolescent self-reported parents' views on drinking had significant effects. Because adolescent deviant experiences were generally affected by environmental factors, it is recommended that positive extra-curricular activities at both home and school should be investigated. 2. There were significant relationships among adolescent belief systems, drinking situations, and deviant experiences. However, adolescent drinking behaviors in supervised situations had weak correlations with their belif systems and deviant behaviors. 3. Adolescent drinking levels were remarkably influenced by drinking behaviors in unsupervised situations. Because it is difficult to control actual adolescent drinking behaviors in unsupervised situations, it is important to fortify their belief system with continuous education programs.

골프참여자의 건강신념과 환경관심도 및 운동지속의 관계 (The Relationship among Health Belief, Environmental Concern and Continue Exercise for Golf Participants)

  • 본 연구는 골프연습장 이용객을 대상으로 골프 참여자의 건강신념과 환경관심도 및 운동지속에는 어떠한 관계가 있는지 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석과 상관관계분석을 실시하였고 모형을 설정한 뒤 구조방적식모형(SEM)을 통하여 변인간의 인과적 관계를 규명하였다. 이상과 같은 연구방법과 연구모형 검증을 기초로 하여 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 골프 참여자들의 건강신념은 환경관심도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 골프 참여자들의 환경관심도는 운동지속에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 골프 참여자의 건강신념은 운동지속에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 골프 참여자의 건강신념과 운동지속의 관계에서 환경관심도는 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 골프참여자들이 골프를 통해 신체적, 심리적 건강효과를 증진시키고 나아가 골프 기술습득이나 기량향상 등의 성취감을 만들어 환경관심도가 높아진다면, 보다 나은 삶의 질을 영위할 수 있을 것이다.

업사이클링 패션제품에 대한 지각된 소비가치, 환경친화적 신념, 태도, 온라인 구전의도 및 구매의도에 관한 연구 (Perceived Consumption Value, Pro-Environmental Belief, Attitude, eWOM, and Purchase Intention Toward Upcycling Fashion Products)

  • Fashion industry constantly produces and consumes, which leads to huge waste piles of perfectly usable textiles in landfills, as well as other negative effects of an exploitative and excessively rapid fashion process. Pollution created by making and dyeing clothes has pitted fashion industry and environmentalists against each other. In this context, upcycling is seen as an optimal way to solve the growing problem of waste in fashion industry. The first purpose of the study was to analyze the relationships between upcycling fashion products' perceived value, pro-environmental beliefs, attitudes, electronic word of mouth (eWOM) intention, and purchase intention. The second purpose is to verify the difference of perceived consumption value among the consumers' awareness level and purchase experience. A total of 258 valid responses obtained from a group of 20-30-year-old participants were collected through an online survey. SPSS 23.0 and Amos 18.0 programs were used for data analysis. The results of the present study suggest that there are significant effects of upcycling fashion products' perceived value on pro-environmental belief; furthermore, pro-environmental belief was found to positively influence attitude, eWOM intention, and purchase intention. In addition, there are differences of perceived consumption value among the consumers' awareness level and purchase experience. Taken together, the results of this study provide researchers and practitioners with a deeper understanding of consumers' values, beliefs, attitudes, and behavioral intentions towards upcycling fashion products.

부모의 방임행동, 아동의 비합리적 신념이 아동의 분노표현방식에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Parents' Neglect Behavior and Children's Irrational Belief on Children's Anger Expression Style)

  • This study examined the effect of parents' neglect behavior and children's irrational beliefs on children's anger expression style. The participants were 379 5th and 6th grade elementary school children. The major findings were as follows. Children tended to perceive higher levels of their parents' cognitive and emotional neglect than physical and home environmental neglect. Boys perceived higher levels of their parents' physical, supervisory and home environmental neglect than girls, and girls showed higher level of excessively self-expecting belief than boys. There were statistically significant correlations between the parents' neglect behavior, their child's irrational beliefs and anger expression style. A regression analysis showed that parents' physical and cognitive neglect were predictors of children's anger control. Children's excessive apprehension and avoidance beliefs were the best predictors of children's anger-in, while children's deterministic belief was the best predictor of children's anger-out. Parents' physical neglect behavior appeared to be powerful predictor.

고무풍선 중 니트로스아민류의 효과적 위해성 소통 전략에 관한 연구 (Effective Risk Communication Strategies for N-Nitrosamines in Rubber Balloons)

  • Background: As the public interest in chemical substances found in daily life has increased, environmental health education content has been developed and related studies have been conducted. However, there is still insufficient research on methodologies for environmental health education. Objectives: This study aimed to explore risk communication strategies by focusing on N-nitrosamines in rubber balloons. Methods: In this study, two different health messages were composed: a gain-framed message emphasizing the advantages of practicing the health behavior and a loss-framed message emphasizing the negative consequences of not practicing the health behavior. The effect of the message containing risk information was evaluated by measuring the health beliefs and health behavior potential for female caregivers. As the Environmental Health Act defines a child as "a person under the age of 13," a total of 131 women with children under the age of 13 were studied. Results: The age, awareness, and interest of the participants in the gain frame group and these in the loss frame group were similar. In terms of message framing effect, the gain-framed message was more effective in terms of health belief and potential health behavior than was the loss-framed message. As a result of an independent t-test, among the six variables of health belief model the message effect was statistically significant at the level of p<0.05 in three variables: perceived severity (t=2.287, df=129, p=0.024), self-efficacy (t=2.123, df=129, p=0.036), and health behavior potential (t=2.094, df=129, p=0.038). Conclusions: This study presented a direction for effective environmental health education by studying the effects of risk communication messages based on scientific evidence. It is necessary to extend the scope of environmental health education research by expanding research into various household products.

유아 놀이에 대한 교사의 신념 분석 : Q-방법론적 접근 (Teacher's Belief in Young Children's Play : A Q-approach)

  • This study identified and explained the prototypes of teacher's belief about children's play with the use of Stephenson's Q-methodology. The sample consisted of 35 kindergarten teachers. A Q-deck composed of 48 cards, derived in part from a review of related literature and was developed by the researchers and sorted by the subjects. The obtained Q-sort scores were analyzed by factor analysis. The findings revealed that the subjects were divided into 3 belief types : "life-experienced", "developmental-disciplinary", "cultural-environmental". Likely explanations for these results are considered, and implications are discussed.
