The purpose of this study is to survey and analyze difficulties in teaching and learning elementary school science on the chapter titled 'electric circuit'. 28 elementary school teachers who teach 5th grade science and 73 5th grade students in elementary school were taken part in this survey. The pilot questionnaire was distributed to find out both the degree and the reason of difficulties in teaching and learning. The answers are analyzed with four areas to extract elements which make class difficult; Learner factors (L), Instruction factors (I), Curriculum & textbooks factors (C), and Environment factors (E). The results are as follows. (1) It can be seen that both students and teachers feel the highest difficulty in 7th lesson 'the direction of current', while they felt little difficulty in lesson 3 'conductor and nonconductor' and lesson 8 'the safety of electricity'. (2) The most mentioned reason of difficulties in teaching and learning was Learner factors (L). (3) Teachers felt many difficulties in experimental environment. On the other hands, students didn't think experimental failures as serious trouble. (4) Students felt many difficulties in new terms and hazy concepts or expressions. (5) Teachers felt a lot of difficulties in those from Curriculum & textbooks factors.

The purpose of this study is to develop the lesson model for high school students to improve their abilities as consumer. In the method of the research, the contents on consumer education of the 8 kinds of Home Economics textbooks are reconstructed into the areas of decision-making, financing, reasonable purchasing, and consumer citizenship. The consumer’s ability to be developed in the areas of decision-making, financing, reasonable purchasing, and consumer citizenship is set up as follows： 1) The establishment of the sound consumer morality and values, the ability of independent decision-making, the critical ability, and the problem-solving ability. 2) The ability of research on social, cultural and economic values, and the ability to estimate one’s own short-term and long-term life plan. 3) The ability of reasonable purchase. 4) The ability to participate in a consumer movement, and the ability to take good care of environment. Subsequently, 9 lesson models for the student to improve the consumer’ability are developed.

The purpose of this study was to prepare lesson plans, study aids and multimedia learning materials for the clothing units in TechnologyㆍHome economics of the 7th national curricula. It's also meant to utilize these materials in instruction in order to provide students with more direct and practical learning experience and make them capable of leading a successful life in the 21st century. 1. The teaching plans were mapped out for the clothing units in TechnologyㆍHome economics class for middle school grade 2, which were all covered by eight textbooks: clothing and life(the function of clothes, my attire, wearing a suit, and wearing Korean traditional dress), the preparation of garments(the type of fiber, understanding of stuff, and preparing garments), and cloth care and storage (washing, storage, alteration and recycling). 2. The lesson plans included information on the name of units, period, learning objectives, teaching environment, materials, learning content, introduction, development, remarks, topping off, announcement for next session, and related Web sites. 3. To raise the effect of education, study aids were developed to be appropriate for the units. The lesson plans and study aids for the clothing part of TechnologyㆍHome economics class for middle school grade 2 would serve to help students build the right clothing habits, and are expected to serve as good teaching materials.

The purpose of this study was to develop a multimedia game program as a strategy for teaching alien species and to examine the effect of the program on recognition, motivation and achievement about alien species. In order to find the effect of developed program, 62 students among 6th graders at S Elementary School located in Gyeonggi-do were divided into two groups. Lesson with multimedia game was given to the experimental group, and the control group received traditional lesson. The results were as follows. First, the experimental and control groups showed significant difference in recognition of alien species. Second, the two groups showed statistically significant difference in learning motivation. For the subdomains of the recognition, significant results were obtained at the significance in attentiveness, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. Third, the two groups showed significant difference in academic achievement. Lastly as a result of interviewing subjects of the experimental group about lesson based on game, subjects generally had positive opinions that the new learning method is interesting and has helpful influence on the lesson.

This study is a questionnaire about the lesson environment that radiation major students prefer in a non-face-to-face live online lesson environment for a total of 133 students, 65 second graders and 68 third graders who are enrolled in the department of radiology at a university located in the Seoul metropolitan area. And checked the satisfactory level by grade. The questionnaire consists of three categories: 1st real-time non-face-to-face lectures, 2nd professor lectures, and 3rd corona lectures. A total of 14 questions, with multiple choice and descriptive response methods. As an evaluation method, in the case of a multiple-choice question, the average was calculated using a 5-point Likert scale. As a result of conducting the independent sample T-test of the SPSS program, the response by grade was P > 0.05, and no significant result was shown by the contents of the questionnaire survey of the second grade. As for the lecture method of the department of radiology after the end of Covid-19 virus, it is better to promote face-to-face lessons in radiation training subjects and non-face-to-face real-time education in subjects centered on radiation theory.

본 연구는 가설학습경로와 보편적 학습설계(UDL)를 기반으로 초등예비교사가 느리게 배우는 학습자에게 맞춘 수학 수업을 설계한 사례를 활용한 연구이다. 가설학습경로는 계열성을 특징으로 하는 수학 교과에서 느리게 배우는 학습자에게 맞추어 도움을 제공해야 할 때 그들의 현재 이해 및 발달의 상태를 파악하고 그것에 반응적으로 수업을 설계할 때 의사결정의 근거로 삼을 수 있다. 또한, 보편적 학습설계는 수업을 설계할 때 수업에 존재할 수도 있는 잠재적 장벽을 제거하여 모든 학생이 접근할 수 있는 풍부한 학습 환경을 안내하는 프레임워크이다. 본 연구는 초등예비교사에게 느리게 배우는 학습자의 특성에 맞춘 수업을 설계하는 경험을 제공하여 가설학습경로를 생성하게 하고, 보편적 학습설계의 원리를 적용한 수업안을 작성하도록 하였다. 그리고 수업안에 나타난 가설학습경로의 특징 및 보편적 학습설계의 적용 결과를 분석하였다. 이러한 분석결과에 따른 논의를 통해 예비교사교육과정에서 느리게 배우는 학습자를 위한 수학수업 설계 경험의 필요성과 느리게 배우는 학습자를 위한 수업설계에서 가설학습경로 및 UDL의 적용 가능성에 관한 시사점을 도출하였다.

Through this study, I explored a creation of the postmodern furniture aesthetics through the transformation by student's interpretation in experiencing the art/craft/handmade/studio furniture aesthetics in postmodernism theoretically for 'wood culture experience class' or 'wood love experience class' by the Korea Forest Service because the class tends to focus on making simple wood works involved just in the practical part. Qualitative conceptual analysis as the principal methodology was used to achieve the theoretical context in the experience programs. Following the lesson one on defining the postmodern aesthetics in New Design furniture as metaphor and the lesson two on interpreting an aesthetics of art and everyday life with the wood furniture which expresses the metaphorical and symbolical aesthetics appeared as New Design furniture in postmodernism in the previous papers, I developed lesson three on creating an object using eco-friendly materials like wood in transforming an aesthetics of postmodern furniture as the final stage of the study. Therefore, the students will be able to create a piece of eco-friendly wood furniture for our environment as metaphor transformed by his/her perspective regarding a piece of selected New Design furniture.

Science-related attitudes, perceptions of science classroom environments, and their relationships were investigated for a sample of 535 primary and secondary school students. Two scales of the Test of Science-Related Attitudes and five scales of the Classroom Environment Scale(CES) were administered. Students' perceptions of preferred science classroom environments were also investigated using the same scales of the CES and compared with those of actual classroom environments. The results indicated the primary school students had the most positive attitudes on Enjoyment of Science Lesson and Career Interest in Science. They also had the highest scores on perceptions of actual classroom environments, while the high school students had the lowest scores. Regarding the relationships between science-related attitudes and perceptions of classroom environments, multiple correlations for the five scales of the CES were found to be significant(p<01). The scores of four scales-Involvement, Teacher Support, Order and Organization, Rule Clarity-are significantly correlated with the scores of Enjoyment of Science Lesson. Students' perceptions of preferred classroom environments on the four scales of the CES are significantly higher than those in actual environments. However, students' perceptions of actual environments on Task Orientation are similar to those of preferred environments, and are not significantly correlated with Enjoyment of Science Lesson. Educational implications are discussed.

회계학을 공부하는 학생들은 현상을 분석하고 미래를 예측하는 기법으로 통계를 많이 사용하고 익혀야만 할 것이다. 하지만 학생들은 일반적으로 수치를 다루는 통계를 기피하는 경향이 현재 강력히 나타나고 있는 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 맹목적으로 수치를 다루는 통계 공부에서 벗어나 멀티미디어(동영상, 음성, 그래픽, 애니메이션 등)로 흥미를 유발시키고 인터넷상에서 학생들이 직접 실습을 할 수 있는 환경을 구축하였다. 이해력과 인지율을 높일 수 있는 회계통계 교육용 컨텐츠이다. 회계 통계 학습에 도움을 주었는지는 참가한 학생들의 설문조사를 통하여 효과를 분석하였다. 멀티미디어를 이용한 회계통계 교육의 효과는 회계통계 교과목 수강하는데 용이함과 도움을 주기 때문에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

Since Environmental Education in Elementary School is taught separately in various subject area, a well-founded and organized curriculum in integrated Environmental Education is needed to educate teachers for professional development. In this research, a curriculum for elementary teacher in-service training program was developed in order to improve both environmental and educational competencies of elementary school teachers. The curriculum was based on the needs analysis on Environmental Education training for elementary school teachers. Also it was based on international and updated perspectives on Environmental Education, Education for Sustainable Development. The curriculum consists of the introduction and the particular perspectives. The particular is made of 60 hours, which covers 6 perspectives on environment. They are ecological perspective, environmental ethics perspective, social-cultural perspective, economic perspective, environmental hygienic perspective, and environmental policy. Environmental policies of Korea and the world were included so that teachers will understand efforts made at national level and participate more to environmental action in their schools. Lesson objectives were specified for teachers to apply this curriculum to their classroom easily. Related elementary curriculum and textbook were indicated at the end of each lesson so teachers can link their training setting with their classroom setting. Especially, in this curriculum various teaching and teaming methods for each lesson are introduced. Thus, this re- search is very practical for elementary school teachers who are planning to teach environment in their classroom.
