This patient, 30 year-old korean male, was admitted with complaints of the gingival enlargement and spontaneous bleeding of the gingival tissue with acute leukemia. In reviewing this case, the following points should have been understood; 1. This is a case of the gingivitis, gingival enlargement, gingival bleeding, so the patient showed the masticatory disturbances. 2. The generalized weakness, petechia in skin, anemia, and hepatomegaly on palpation were seen. 3. With the histopathological examination by means of microscopic views, numerous myelocytic cells, of which their shapes were in irregular, were appeared. 4. The prognosis was poor in spite of any other internal treatments.

Recent time, there appear many cases of remodeling construction concluding enlargement of exclusive using area in Apartment. These constructions show several phases according to the size of apartment and use of the each room. In small size apartment the cause of enlargement construction is usually the desire for having enough dwelling space. But in large size apartment that is usually the desire for having usuful and effective dwelling space. In these remodeling constructions owner or designer change the interior design of each rooms and the Intoner materials. These changes show several tendencies by the sizes of apartments and use of the each room.

Whatever a surgeon choose aortic prosthesis in aortic stenosis, it will always provoke some degree of obstruction to flow due to its smaller effective orifice area to tissue annulus. Occasionally, we meet small aortic annulus to his or her body surface area in aortic valve replacement. The small annulus remains a problem in that both tissue and mechanical prosthesis have significant pressure gradients between LV and aorta in resting or exercising states. In these circumstances, diverse surgical procedures, such as tilting disc prosthesis, supraannular position of aortic prosthesis, and enlargement of aortic root [including aortoventriculoplasty, translocation of aortic valve, & double outlet of LV by valved conduit], were applied. We experienced one case of aortic stenosis with small aortic annulus. Systolic pressure gradients between LV & aorta were 90 mmHg. Diameter of annulus was 19 mm. So we performed patch enlargement of aortic root by Manouguian and AVR with St. Jude medical valve 23 mm.

Purpose - The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of the European Union's (EU) focus on innovation and consumption, after the EU Eastern enlargement, on trade, investment, and technology cooperation patterns of Korea to formulate a pan-European marketing strategy, with a special emphasis on the mobile phone industry. Research design, data, and methodology - This study compares the intersection of the pivotal areas in the markets in the "post-new normal" era to identify outlets to commercialize development and innovation in this region. The EU would like to realize potential trade and investment opportunities with the Central European Economic Community (CEEC) from this enlargement. Results - The study analysis suggests a positive impact for innovation and consumption from the EU Eastern enlargement on trade, investment, and technology cooperation patterns of Korea to formulate a pan-European marketing strategy with a special emphasis on the mobile phone industry or motorcar e-strategy. Conclusions - Due to the evolving close interdependencies some hubs have emerged between regional, small markets and the central, larger ones such as Germany and France.

Leukemia is a hematological malignant disease with various clinical symptoms. Due to the fatal nature of the disease, early detection is important. Oral manifestations include ulcers and gingival enlargement with bleeding. Moreover, myeloid sarcoma or opportunistic infections may also occur. This report introduces a 31-year-old male presenting with generalized gingival enlargement with bleeding and another 81-year-old female with neoplasm on the left retromolar area. Both were diagnosed as acute monocytic leukemia. These cases implicate that gingival enlargement or mucosal lesion in the oral cavity may represent underlying systemic diseases. Related to this, it has to be reminded that making timely diagnosis and referral according to the clinical findings is crucial.

Purpose: This paper presents the effects of soil drought stress during the growing season and pre-harvest period on tree growth and fruit quality of "Yumi" peach, an early season cultivar. Methods: Soil drought stresses were treated with four levels of -30, -50, -60, and -70 kPa during long term (LT) and short term (ST). For LT treatments, soil water was controlled for nine weeks from May 1 to July 5, which was assumed as the full growing season. For ST treatments, soil water was controlled for four weeks from June 10 to July 5, which was assumed as the pre-harvest season. Tree growth and leaf photosynthesis were measured, and fruit characteristics such as fruit weight and diameter, soluble solid and tannin contents, and harvest date were investigated. Results: Soil water deficit treatments caused a significant reduction in tree growth, leaf photosynthesis, and fruit enlargement. LT water stress over -60 kPa during the full growing season caused significant reduction in tree growth, including shoot length, trunk girth, leaf photosynthesis, and fruit enlargement. ST water stress over -60 kPa during the pre-harvest period also induced significant reduction in leaf photosynthesis and fruit enlargement, while tree growth was not reduced. In terms of fruit quality, water stress over -50 kPa significantly reduced fruit weight, increased soluble solid and tannin contents, and delayed harvest time in both LT and ST treatments. Conclusions: As a result, it is assumed that LT water stress over -60 kPa can reduce both tree growth and fruit enlargement, whereas ST water stress over -50 kPa can reduce fruit enlargement without reducing tree growth. From an agricultural perspective, moderate water deficit like -50 kPa treatments could have positive effects, such increased fruit soluble solid contents along with minimal reduction in fruit size.

EU의 동방확대가 동유럽 국가들에 가져온 경제적 효과는 긍정적이지만, 동유럽의 경제규모는 EU GDP에서 차지하는 비율은 아직 미미한 편이다. 또한 동방확대에 의해서 경제적·사회적 불균형이 확대될 수도 있다. 그러나 동유럽의 EU 가입은 대외무역 활성화와 외국인 직접투자와 기술 이전에 의한 생산성 향상 그리고 경제개혁 진전 등을 가져올 수 있다는 점에서 희망적이다. EU의 동방확대에 따른 경제 환경 변화는 러시아와 동유럽의 경제협력을 위한 새로운 패러다임 형성의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 현재 러시아와 동유럽 양자 경제교류 현실의 특징은 비대칭성이다. 현실을 반영한 보완성 패러다임 - 에너지·원료와 고부가 가치 제품의 교환 - 형성이 필요하다. 동유럽은 러시아의 일차상품에 의존한 렌트 경제인 상태이기에, 이러한 불안정성은 오히려 EU 경제에 손해를 가져올 수도 있다. 따라서 무역을 통한 경제구조의 고도화를 가능하게 하는 산업 협력 패러다임에 - 산업의 분업화에 의한 수평무역, 위탁 가공 등 - 근거한 공통경제 공간 만들기가 필요하다. EU 확대에 따른 러시아와 동유럽의 대외무역과 외국인 직접투자 환경의 변화는 산업 협력을 촉진해 새로운 경제협력 체제 구축이 가능할 것이다. 국제경제의 현 추세가 글로벌화와 지역화 경향이 동시에 이루어지는 상황에서 러시아와 EU 간의 새로운 경제협력 패러다임 구상은 중요한 문제이다. CIS 서부지역 및 에너지 안전 보장 그리고 칼리닌그라드와 경제협력 등의 지역협력 키워드가 존재하기 때문에 산업협력 패러다임을 통한 경제협력 체제 구축이 가능하다.

In this paper, we propose a new performance comparison method of various Interpolation methods for image enlargement The conventional methods employs PSNR and edge characteristic evaluation for performance comparison of interpolation methods. The proposed performance comparison method uses the position Information for each difference pixel's value and the frequency characteristic information between original image and Interpolated image. The proposed methods might be useful for performance comparison of various Interpolation methods through the computer simulation.

A 6-month-old, intacted male dog was admitted to Seoul Animal Medical Center. The referring veterinarian suspected that the patient might have congenital cardiac problem. It was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus(PDA) based on the physical examination, auscultation, radiography, electrocardiography and ultrasonogrphy. After surgical ductus closure, there were improved clinical conditions through by alleviation of atrial fibrilation and left heart enlargement.

A markedly enlarged foramen transversarium was discovered incidentally on a cone-beam computed tomography scan of a 72-year-old male patient who was referred for dental implant placement. Further evaluation with magnetic resonance angiography revealed that the foramen enlargement was caused by a tortuosity in the course of the vertebral artery. This case report highlights the importance of recognizing significant incidental findings on diagnostic images and the potential need for additional imaging as part of the complete interpretative process.
