  • MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is a self-configuration network or wireless multi-hop network based on inference topology. The proposed ATICC(Adaptive Time Interval Clustering Control) algorithm for hierarchical cluster based MANET. The proposed ATICC algorithm is time interval control technique for node management considering the attribute of node and network traffic. ATICC could be made low the network traffic. Also it could be improving the network life time by using timing control method.

Query Tree Algorithm for Energy Conserving and Fast Identification in RFID Systems

  • This paper proposes a revised query tree algorithm in RFID systems. The proposed QT_ecfi algorithm revises the QT algorithm, which has a memory-less property. In the QT_ecfi algorithm, the tag will send the remaining bits of their identification codes when the query string matches the first bits of their identification codes. When the reader receives all the responses of the tags, it knows which bit is collided. If the collision occurs in the last bit, the reader can identify two tags simultaneously without further query. While the tags are sending their identification codes, if the reader detects a collision bit, it will send a signal to the tags to stop sending. According to the simulation results, the QT_ecfi algorithm outperforms the QT algorithm in terms of the number of queries and the number of response bits.

  • Ad hoc network is a multi-hop wireless network formed with non-infrastructure.   • 본 논문에서는 이동 에드 혹 네트워크(Mobile Ad-hoc network: MANET)에서의 상황인식 기반의 스케쥴링 기법인 DDV(Dynamic Direction Vector)-hop 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존 MANET에서는 노드의 이동성으로 인한 동적 네트워크 토폴리지, 네트워크 확장성 결여의 대한 취약성을 지니고 있다. 또한 노드들의 이동성에 따라 에너지 소모율이 다르며, 에너지 소모율을 최소화하는 라우팅 기법을 선택하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 계층적 클러스터 단위의 동적이 토폴로지에서 노드가 이동하는 방향성 및 시간에 따른 노드의 이동 속성 정보를 고려하여 클러스터를 생성 및 유지하는 DDV-hop알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 주어진 노드의 위치정보를 이용하여 토폴로지를 형성함에 있어 보다 에너지 효율적인 경로를 탐색하여 최적화된 경로를 제공함에 연구의 목적이 있다. 주어진 모의실험환경에서 노드의 방향성 및 시간에 따른 이동성을 반영함으로써 에너지 효율적인 클러스터링 및 라우팅 경로 알고리즘이 제공되어 네트워크의 최적화된 에너지 소모 결과를 보여주었다.

  • 전력이나 유선망 등의 기반시설 없이 임의의 장소에서 필요에 의해 일시적으로 구성되었다가 해체한 수 있는 네트워크 형태의 필요성이 대두됨에 따라 Ad-hoc 네트워크에 관한 여러 가지 연구가 진행되고 있다. Ad-Hoc 네트워크에서는 기존의 유선 네트워크 망에서와는 달리 게이트웨이나 라우터 등의 도움 없이 모바일 기기들 간의 통신이 가능해야 한다. 이러한 임의성과 휴대성, 그리고 이동성 때문에 야기되는 여러 가지 문제들을 해결해야,안정적이고 효율적인 통신을 보장할 수 있다. Ad-hoc 네트워크에서는 대부분의 경우 배터리가 에너지원인 모바일 기기들을 사용하므로 효율적인 에너지 자원 관리가 중요한 고려대상이 된다. 본 논문에서는 Ad-hoc 네트워크의 시스템 활동시간을 최대화시키려는데 중점을둔 효율적인 라우팅방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서는 데이터 전송에 따른 에너지 소비뿐만 아니라 제어신호의 전송에 따른 에너지 소비를 함께 고려하였다.

  • Recently, the interest of the high speed railway train is increased. Because it is energy-conserving and largely independent of fuel oil, an electric train is environmental friendly. In this paper we designed the eddy current brake for simulator of the Korean High Speed Railway Train(hereafter KHRT). Braking force and normal force according to current and speed are calculated.

  • The primary purpose of this research is to scientifically investigate visual structure of Korean feng-shui at the level of village settlement. This study deals with Hahoi and Yangdong villages of which feng-shui is regarded highly fit to traditional feng-shui principles. Methodologically this research utilizes analytical tools of geographical information systems and statistical analysis methods, Visual structures of the villages'feng-shui are analyzed in terms of elevation, orientation, gradient of slope and relative dominance of visibility of major hills. A mathematical model is suggested to quantify facets of the villages'lung-shui with reference to slope trends. The quantitative analysis results indicate that both villages have good feng-shui. Hahoi village has an excellent feng-shui attributable to a near perfect harmony between water and terrain while Yangdong village has an effective feng-shui facet for conserving energy in terms of microclimate. Principles of fang-shui have potentials to be developed as a holistic planning and design language. Further in-depth research on feng-shui needed to accomplish this goal.

  • We proposed the context-awareness routing algorithm DDV (Dynamic Direction Vector)-hop algorithm at Mobile Ad-hoc Network(MANET). MANET has problem about dynamic topology, the lack of scalability of the network by mobile of node. By mobile of node, energy consumption rate is different. So it is important choosing routing algorithms for the minium of energy consumption rate. DDV-hop algorithms considers of the attribute of mobile node, create a cluster and maintain. And it provides a path by searching a route more energy efficient. We apply mobile of node by direction and time, the alogorighm of routning path and energy efficiency clustering is provided, it is shown the result of enery consumption that is optimized for the network.

  • In the recently years, there has been a big interest in ad hoc wireless network as they have tremendous military and commercial potential. An Ad hoc wireless network is composed of mobile computing devices that use having no fixed infrastructure of a multi-hop wireless network formed. So, the fact that limited resource could support the network of robust, simple framework and energy conserving etc. In this paper, we propose a new ad hoc multicast routing protocol for based on the ontology scheme called inference network. Ontology knowledge-based is one of the structure of context-aware. And the ontology clustering adopts a tree structure to enhance resilient against mobility and routing complexity. This proposed multicast routing protocol utilizes node locality to be improve the flexible connectivity and stable mobility on local discovery routing and flooding discovery routing. Also attempts to improve route recovery efficiency and reduce data transmissions of context-awareness. We also provide simulation results to validate the model complexity. We have developed that proposed an algorithm have design multi-hierarchy layered networks to simulate a desired system.

The effect of ion to electron mass ratio on Ion beam driven instability and ion holes by PIC simulation

  • Previous simulations posed a problem that they used reduced ion to electron mass ratios to save computation time. It was assumed that ion and electron dynamics are sufficiently separated, but it was not clearly verified. In this study, we examine the effect of ion to electron mass ratios on the generation of ion holes by ion beam driven instability. Ion holes are generated via electron holes in an applied electric field with the given initial condition. First, the ion acoustic instability is excited and nonlinearly develops. After the ion acoustic instability nonlinearly develops, the ion two-stream instability is excited and develops into ion holes. This implies that the previously suggested ion beam driven instability is strongly affected by the coupling between ions and electrons and the ion to electron mass ratio is important on the development of the instability. The energy transition and detail variation is different as reduced mass ratio under the same observation value based on FAST satellite. Although, the parameters are rescaled by conserving the kinetic energy to obtain the proper results, the nonlinear evolution is not perfectly identical.
