There are many drugs reproted to show unusual pharmacokinetic behavior by producing a significant secondary peak in the plasma concentration-time curve after oral administration. The drugs are ranitidine, cimetidine, acetaminophen, aspirin, furosemide, bumetanide, piretanide, veralipride, sobrerol, penicillamine and doxycycline etc. Enterohepatic circulation-, two absorption site-, biphasic gastric emptying-, tissue deposition- and multi-fraction absorption theories have been suggested for the mechanisms of this phenomenon. Here, the theories were reviewed and critisized for their validity as a possible mechanism of the multiple peak phenomenon.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of Tai Chi in women with osteoarthritis. Methods: Data were collected by face-to-face interview from 14 participants. Theoretical sampling was performed until the concepts were saturated. The main question was "How do you describe your experience of Tai Chi?" Data were analyzed using a grounded theory methodology. All interviews were audio taped and transcribed verbatim. Results: The Phenomenon is 'QI flowing'. The core category was identified with 'inspiring one's life with strength'. This series of processes was categorized into four stages: 'Challenging Tai chi', 'Doing one's best', 'Deplenishing (the word used in English and Tai chi is emptying one's mind) one's mind', 'Taking a Positive view of life'. Conclusion: The finding of this study will offer profound understanding about the reported tai chi's experience. Additional research should be done as to the role of Tai chi as a nursing intervention strategy for osteoarthritis patients.

터보과급기는 엔진에 장착하여 연비를 개선하는 효과적인 장치로 디젤엔진과 가솔린엔진 모두에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 승용차용 가솔린엔진에 사용되는 트윈스크롤 터보과급기에서 발생하는 맥동유동의 질량유량을 측정하였다. 자체 설계 제작한 맥동유동장치를 사용하여 맥동이 있는 비정상상태에서 유동의 질량유량을 측정하였고, 맥동이 없는 정상상태의 질량유량과 비교 분석하였다. 맥동유동장치는 회전하는 상판과 고정된 하판을 사용하여 변하는 엔진의 배기밸브 유효면적을 반영하였다. 맥동이 있는 비정상상태 질량유량을 측정하기 위하여 차압식 압력계를이용한 오리피스 유량계를 사용하였다. 이때 기체의 온도와 절대압력을 측정하여 기체 밀도 변화를 고려하였다. 터보과급기의 저속 성능을 분석하기 위하여 압축공기를 사용하여 터보과급기 회전속도 60,000rpm에서 100,000rpm의 범위에서 측정을 수행하였다. 비정상상태의 질량유량은 정상상태와 비교하여 크게 다른 결과를 보였다. 정상상태 질량유량 계수는 터빈 팽창비가 증가함에서 따라 증가하지만, 비정상상태 질량유량 계수는 정상상태 값 주변의 히스테리시스 루프를 형성하며 변화량은 정상유동 기준 최대 5.0배이다. 이것은 맥동유동에 의하여 터빈 볼류트 공간에서 충진과 방출이 일어나기 때문이다.

본 연구는 서울시 도심재개발을 대상으로 도시공간의 재편과정에 내재하는 정치.경제적 논리를 규명함으로써 도시의 형성과 변화가 사회구조의 산물임을 밝히고자 하였다. 서울시의 도심재개발 사업은 1970년대 전반부터 생산과정의 분화가 이루어짐에 따라 대기업 본사가 도심으로 집중하는 상황에서 시작되었다. 또한 도심재개발은 1980년대 불황국면에 접어들면서 더욱 활발해졌는데, 이는 불황시기의 유휴자본의 문제를 도시공간을 재개발하는데 투자하여 극복하려는 논리에 근거한 것이었다. 그리고 도심재개발은 이를 전체적인 수준에서 주관하고 토지소유권의 통합, 토지수용권의 인정, 제 3개발자 인정, 재정. 세제상의 혜택, 건축규제의 완화 등 법적. 행정적 지원기관인 서울시의 정책과 맞물려 있었다. 그 결과 생활터전으로써의 도심은 업무공간으로 단순화되고, 도심인구의 空洞化現象은 더욱 심화되었다.
